" Ok ill stop talking" the whole way there Veince had thoughts about his younger life and everything that happened. He couldnt get them out of his mind and how lucky he was to have made it this far and how his dad didnt and how he wished he didnt run away and how he could have stoped his mom from dieing.
So many thoughts running in his mind they didnt stop then he just fell to his knees and got up hoping that no one noticed he made sure that no one could see his face. He just keep his eyes closed and listened for anything in the woods around them making sure there wasnt any attack he felt good to be back with people that he knew but at the same time he felt sad about all the thoughts in his mind and he tried his best to keep them out.

In light of the magnitude of the situation, she couldn’t help but feeling slightly helpless despite her influential position. The clamour coming from the corridor broke the tension in the room. Syra looked straight at Sophia and raised an eyebrow, motioning for her to investigate.
Opening the door she came face to face with a flustered X-rank. Frantic as he was, he still addressed her with the proper formalities, then proceeded with his report. “Corbinek’s on the move” he managed, gasping for breath, “He and his forces are already heading to Azroth.”
“Shit.” Sophia cursed. Although the security around the shrine had increased, she feared it would not be enough to repel the forces of Zero Ark. With urgency, she started to head back up to Syra’s office, only to find he was already putting on his battle grab.
Seizing the announcer, Sophia forced herself to remain calm, “Divisions 1-5 required for back up support at Azorth Shrine. Assemble for departure in 30 minutes exactly. Division 6, encircle the base. Divisions 7-10 patrol the borders. MOVE OUT, MOVE OUT! ” As she finished, Syra pulled on her hand, ready to whisk her away, ignoring the fact she was just as fast as him. However she did not resist, managed a smile, and placed her small hand into his.
About 200 metres south of the base, Syra’s personal jet, engines roaring, was ready to for launch, speeding down the runway, as the two of them raced towards it. With hands still clasped together, Syra’s speed increased as he leapt into the air pulling Sophia upwards with him, seeming to defy the forces of gravity. Lifting themselves into the jet, the two allowed themselves to catch a moments’ breath. On her left side, Sophia sneaked a glance at Syra. He looked unusually angry, “That damn Corbinek” he muttered.

I will not baby you, I will not show you sympathy, but more importantly I'm here to make you work. In times of war you must be strong, bold, and ready at every given swing. Understood?"
Hearing the barked orders from around the corner, Mikado rubbed his face, debating over whether to turn up, or to go back, feigning illness. Ideas for excuses fleeted in his head, but, knowing his ego would suffer as a result, he held his head high, clearing his throat as he quickly joined the other soldiers.
They were out on a wide courtyard, standing in formed lines depending on their rank, arms at their sides, feet together in a strict position. Mikado's eyes wandered them briefly as he paced. The ground was warm beneath his feet - it wasn't a hot day, but it was not cold, either - and a slight breeze ruffled his hair, making his clothes billow a little.
Approaching the Captain with an apologetic look upon his white face, he stopped in his tracks, offering a salute.
"Sorry I'm late, Captain Necroy," he stated. He wasn't sure of what explanation to give, so did not offer one. "I won't let it happen again."
With that, he joined the rest of the ranks, awaiting the orders of the day.

As he drove his sword into the thigh of the soilder, Rae pulled his gun from his holster and shot chaos buullets at the four ther soldiers. Once, he turned back to face the previous soilder a gun was pointed straight at his forehead. "Cute," Rae said before speed-warping behind the X-rank. He simply held his palm toward the soilder's back and fired several balls of flame through their back. As the soldier fell to the ground, Rae grabbed his blade from their leg. "Now, It seems as if you're shaken up. C'mon I'll only use my right hand." But before he could get another chance to engage, Rae spotted a difference in these soldiers. "These are..." He held out his hand and an array of light shot from his hand. The ray made contact with the soldiers immediately. Within seconds, they all exploded in unison.
Rae appraoced the destructed bodies, and was not in the least, shocked with what he saw. The bodies were made of wires and electrical units. Perhaps the ancient promises were about to be made. Although, there was no reason to get on the topic right away. He kneeled down and retreved one of the chips that were inserted into the soldiers' head. Rae shoved them into his pocket and continued on with his business...

Sophia awoke with a jolt, as the jet, experiencing turbulence, began to make its descent. To her confusion, her head was placed in Syra’s lap, though she had no recollection of falling asleep. It had been a good nap too. Entangling herself from Syra, she noticed he was still asleep, so she had to prod him gently to awaken him. Opening one eye at first, as if suspicious, he gradually realised where he was, and what he was doing. When satisfied, his other eye flickered open.
In the adjoining room lay the evidence of Sophia’s earlier precautions. Various weapons and relics of warfare lay strewn on the floor for the pilots to defend themselves if worst came to worst. For once, normality ensued as they smoothly landed in the nearby forest and then proceeded to speed towards the shrine.
Although the Fortain troops who had been stationed in the area surrounding the shrine were either using the power of invisibility, or camouflaging themselves, Sophia could still sense their presence, nestled amongst the trees. This comforted her a great deal yet she knew if Corbinek and Veince were in the vicinity, herself and Syra were the only ones who could stand up to them. They’d have to protect their comrades. Moving to the front line, just shy of the shrine’s entrance Sophia too, had to use the power of invisibility. The only problem was that Syra didn’t possess the same power. An ambush wouldn’t be successful without the element of surprise. Sophia’s eyes narrowed as she grabbed Syra, visibily straining to channel the flow of her powers to include Syra as well. At last, her face relaxed: Syra was no longer visible to the human eye. If only she could last…The air was thick with tension. All there was left now was to wait.

The hours were getting on now, but they were very close because now the more trained soldiers with them, Uron and Corbinek, and no doubt Veince could sense powerful energy levels hiding only a few hundred meters from them. "Let's look alive people, these fools are in for a surprise." Just 100 meters away, was the shrine at Azroth, and Corbinek knew that Henskie was housed inside, but he could also see the hidden enemies as well.............
Sight was one of his mastered arks, and he could see far distances, but also pick up on energy with his sight and see energy signatures when enemies were cloaked. What was more, he controlled the twilight and was able to see anyone as strong, or weaker than him who used shadow to cover them self, or controlled light to bend it around them to become nigh invisible. It looked like this was the latter. It didn't look like the enemy knew thy could be seen, so Corbinek decided t play it off and keep going forward, even looking around as he did so. "Wow, look at this Uron, they have no defense at all..........this shall be a breeze. Let's go on." This was where it happened.
Without a second thought, Rho zipped from behind hsi back, and sliced through about ten soldiers that were hiding in the trees, locking away, and severing their power connections, and they fell to the ground, or backwards completely visible. each blade returned to it's hiding place, and he saw a solider in the front, next to a man with immense power. She was a woman, but before Corbinek could call her out, Uron stood in shock for a moment. "Sophia?? Is that you?? It's been such a long time sister. i suppose we were fated to meet upon the battlefield, now step aside, or face Zero Ark's wrath. There is no use in hiding....."
Corbinek sighed, "Love, let's just play with them for a while. Everyone, use the Delta Formation tactics now!!!!" Corbinek jumped into the air and gripped his arm. It glowed, and turned into the cannon; Gamma. From which he fired a huge blast of dark energy in Syra and Sophia's direction. It was a battle now, and Uron was already throwing black fire balls at soldiers on the enemy side. "Attack these fools." Zero Ark's skilled fighters ran into the developing fray........

"Sorry I'm late, Captain Necroy, I won't let it happen again." "I will hold you to that soldier, now join the ranks and we will get started." The captain uttered with authority. "This way soldiers, keep the line straight and follow me."
They were moving to a bit of a more unstable part of the courtyard. The dirt didn't appear to be realistic, but more along the lines of synthetic material. This was actually something that Bliss created as a way to train the soldiers under him in previous years. His right arm stretch out far, arced like a hook as his left hand was glowing a sandy brown color emitting energy that triggered the activation function on the field. Slowly it was beginning to rise up from out of the ground, the grass parting showing a steel plated door beneath it. Opening with separation left and right something was rising from below being that of a fairly fashioned field for which to train the soldiers.
Strolling across the field first and sitting at the command board, Bliss began to rapidly input the protocols necessary to start the field. His eyes open to this, the black field spread about forty meters in total. A large arm harboring an orb-like machine seemed to hang above. This was the gravity matrix, a little something to resist against an enemy that exerts pressure against the body pulling them closer to the earth.
"Alright. For your first phase of this exercise is fairly simple. Those of you with a sense of accuracy, speed, strength, and some of the more basic arks will adapt to moderate based combat. You will be exposed to a fast thinking threat programmed to choose the best method of moving around direct assaults. This will test not only your arks, but your accords of intellectual analysis. Without further ado, we will begin."
The captain typed in the following commands, from the side walls, the panel slide out and five steel floating spheres all armed with red eyes conducted thermal scans on the soldiers below. Sliding horizontally to the right, they revealed a particle beam being charged to blast the troops if they didn't move on the spot.
"Try not to hit each other, hahahaha." The rounds of particle beams from the four of the ten droids fired off in a blaze!

Yet Sophia was immediately suspicious. How could Corbinkek believe that the source of the entire continent’s power lay unprotected? But before she had time to communicate this to Syra, 10 soliders had fallen to the floor, their shroud of invisibility unmasked. Sophia readied herself as Corbinek was about to launch into another attack, drawing out her shield. He hesitated a moment, as the man behind him called out to her.
"Sophia?? Is that you?? It's been such a long time sister. i suppose we were fated to meet upon the battlefield, now step aside, or face Zero Ark's wrath. There is no use in hiding....."
Sister? That was how he had referred to her as. In the space of a few seconds, recollections flashed through her mind. She knew she had a brother that had left home when she was 2. Her memories of him were hazy, but there was one thing she could not forget – watching him walk away one last time, as she tugged on his cloak, trying to prevent him from going. She could not step aside. But she could not attack her brother. Instead, her hatred went towards the one who had obviously ensnared her brother: Corbinek.
"Love, let's just play with them for a while. Everyone, use the Delta Formation tactics now!!!!" said Corbinek, as if crushing them would be the simplest thing of all.
Sophia was enraged. He was treating them as mere prey, firing a huge blast of dark energy at Sophia and Syra. In response, Sophia directed her look of utmost derision at Corbinek, making sure he saw her expression. “Fail” she said simply, yet loud enough for Corbinek to her, as Syra called on his power wind to form a protective wind barrier around her and him, the wind deflecting the blast back to where it came from. Meanwhile, with the power of sky, Sophia had brought down a mist to shroud those soldiers who Uron was throwing black balls at. Through the mist, she fired ice at Zero Arks soldiers, hoping to catch them off-guard. Guessing their positions wasn’t hard for someone like Sophia, who had stayed up night after night whilst she was X rank studying tactics and strategy; she could read their moves easily.
Fortain’s reinforcements from Divisions 1-5 had now arrived and were pouring into the area. At prior instruction, they had adopted the fluid offensive-defensive, in order to lure the enemy into their territory, then swamping them with their great numbers. At any case, it was impossible to tell who had the upper hand. The battle for Henskie raged on.

Posts: 6,752 | Re: Ellis Ark (A literate Original) Corbinek was amused that the captain, whom must have been Uron's sister got mad so easily. he could tell by the look on her face, and just that kind of attitude made for a losing side. One could be emotional, but it was unwise to let those emotions get out of hand when fighting such an intense battle like this. A shield of wind surrounded both Syra and Sophia, and it's spin properties knocked the dark blast back away from them, towards Corbinek. He was grinning widely, and raised Gamma again, but instead of firing it, he pointed his finger out and a thin beam of light flared out and penetrated the dark shot, causing ti to vanish. "How simple that was..........you'll have to do better than that."
Mist soon came down, obviously an attempt to cancel out visibility, but Corbinek didn't mind. He started to play around, and flipped through the air, relying sole;y on vibrations of energy to dodge the oncoming ice projectiles. There were a few screams as soldiers were hit, but that was not something Corbinek could do anything about. He was there to win, but his soldiers had to defend themselves to some extent. Uron was annoyed that Sophia was using the mist to stop his magick attacks, but this was battle, so he'd have to deal with it. He pulled out both swords, and Corbinek pulled out his scythe, that was barely visible, and they ran father into the fray, along side Zero ark's soldiers.
"Corbinek, let's hurry up before they try to pull something crazy!!!" There was a small nod from Corbinek, as he cut down a soldier, and then dropped backwards to avoid a stab, and blast from close range. Uron's blade were ripping into enemies and burned and frozen corpses were falling left and right. A group of X-ranks surrounded Uron, and he started to fight them off, but was slashes across the shoulder. He didn't cry out, or even move as the blood dripped.......but pushed his arms out, and chaotic amounts of flame rushed out to defend him, as the soldiers struggled to hold it off. Corbinek turned to Uron's aid, and pulled out Lambda and the bow glowed darkly as he fired arrows at the X-rank, their hearts being torn right out, and moved elsewhere.............
He could still see Syra and Sophia, and dashed over, and jumped up about 10 feet away from them, using a tremendous pulse of telekinetic force at them. Tons of pressure was what they would face, and he followed up with six of his eight spirit blades flying down to attack them as well. "Syra, give up!!!!"

The ranks slowly moved in a cattle-like pace, some soldiers clumsily bumping into one another as they followed Captain Necroy along. Some even seemed nervous. Others seemed overly confident. Mikado rolled his eyes, suppressing a sigh, holding it tight within his chest.
"It's only training," he mumbled to himself, a few locks of his hair falling about his face. "Besides, this is the first session with Captain Necroy. It's not like anything will be difficult."
Going through some procedures, Necroy strolled across the training field, settling himself down at a control panel. Even more of the soldiers grew nervous, chattering amongst themselves in quaking tones. Necroy silenced them as he began to speak once more.
A quiver formed briefly in the pit of Mikado's stomach as he looked around at what he'd be facing. Not that he was afraid - although, many would have found it unnerving to be around those fidgety, worried soldiers - it was just those tense before-battle moments. It became even worse when he noticed Necroy punching commands into the controls. "Try not to hit each other, hahahaha."
Hearing the clunk of machienery from behind, Mikado looked over his shoulder. A number of red-eyed spheres glared back at him, before in an instant, shooting blazing beams towards the gathered group of soldiers. Adrenaline fired through his system, sending him to the ground so that he deftly avoided the beams - without hitting the other soldiers. Some of the more anxious soldiers ended up running into one another, darting around, unsure of what they should do.
Glancing at the beams, seeing that some were coming again - moving towards him - he leapt to his feet, racing away on light toes.
"I have to think of something," he mused to himself. He wouldn't admit it, but he was trying to impress that captain. "It can't be too hard to outwit these things, can it?"

Currently playing: With Myself. | Re: Ellis Ark (A literate Original) Rae had finally approached the Watergate. Although he was supposed to be there tomorrow, he wanted to make sure everything was secure. The entrance of the watergate stood as tall as a three story building. It was made of a substance that was not from this world. Rae took a couple steps toward the gate when it spoke, "Rae de Calsenfalls...have you come to obtain the almighty? It whispered. The gate knew every and all beings on the planet, some of which who had came from another demension of world. "No. Although, I did want to check and see if everything was alright." Rae spoke these words with such confidence as if he were talking to one of his lowly soldiers.
From outside, the Watergate just looked like an ordinary gate, standing in the depths of Calsenfalls. Rae took deep breaths before entering. A while back, Rae approached the gate and a flood of water came rushing out, almost killing him. The gate finally opened, and on the other side was the shrine of Base. The shrine's appearance was almost like that of a cave fild with diamonds. A the top of the cave was a puddle. The puddle was dripping small drops every second. Another puddle below that one was dripping upwards. The two drops collided into a ball of water that was suspended in the air by unknown means.
The behind the cave was a narrow pathway that led into pure darkness. Suddenly the gate closed behind him. "Okay, I get it." Rae took the path and unsheathed his sword in the process...

Compared to him, she felt immature and insignificant, but this only hardened her resolve and increased her will to survive. As expected, he eliminated his own reflected dark energy with a nothing but a single finger, then triumphant, ran into the masses of soldiers.
Although the forest stretched for miles, every crevice was now home to the clash between Zero Ark and Fortain, as misguided arrows hit trees instead of soldiers, swords met shields, and blasts of elemental magic thronged the air. Amidst the commotion, one scream blended into another, rendering it impossible to ascertain how many had been slaughtered by Corbinek’s scythe and Uron’s blade.
There was no respite for Sophia and Syra. Pressure was pushing down, suffocating them, as Corbinek’s telekinetic pulse steered 6 of his spirit blades towards them, even annihilating the protective wind barrier. Though Sophia had mastered the ark of telekinesis, but she struggled to thwart the immense force that Corbinek had shot at them, and eventually collapsed under the weight. However, it had bought Sophia and Syra a little more time; time enough for Syra, to bend the particles from the earth to renew the shield, creating a barrier, as they barely dodged in time. The spirit blades, however, were not so easily deterred, as in a final attempt, one skimmed Sophia’s arm as it flew past. Clutching her arm, she gasped as an odd pain shot up her arm, yet she saw no wound, nor blood loss. What was this power? Pushing the question from her mind, she believed her escape to be a lucky one, she would need both arms to defeat the X-ranks who had moved in on her. On instinct, her rapier flashed, in an act of welcoming to these fools, guiding them to their death, as it tore through flesh at phenomenal speeds. She started to couple this up elemental magic, hoping for twice the destruction. Instead, her spells her backfiring everywhere, completely off target as she was left in bemusement. Was that it? Had Corbinek's spirit blades severed her magic and arks?
The longer the battle went on, the more lives were at stake. Syra nodded as he charged towards Corbinek, determined to end this for once and all, man to man. Nobody could have predicted his first shot, as his fist blasted through the air, as the rest of his body followed. The target was Corbinek’s head.

Letting his ego get the best of him however, he let up a bit, and gave them another chance, which eh shouldn't have done, because right then a large wall of earth rose up and blocked the intense weight of his telekinesis and they moved out of the way, as the makeshift barrier slammed onto the ground. "Dammit!!! Syra you maggot!!!" He swiftly moved his blades towards Sophia. she was able to somehow dodge the blades, but one went right through her arm. It was perfect............."Just wait bitch, you'll see my power in a minute."
He leaped back and Sophi began taking apart soldiers coming her way, cutting them to ribbons, but then she saw that her blade was not enough and that magick was needed. Corbinek laughed as she used her arm that had been hit to use magick, and the spells kept failing and shooting off in directions she was not aiming for. Some of her channels had been cut and that was making it harder to use, and focus her power. Corbinek snickered, and turned as Uron dashed off and flew down at Sophia. There was a vibration in the air as Syra flew towards Corbinek, fish pisted for a punch to the head, but Corbinek wasn't stupid............
The fist slammed into Corbinek's head, and went right through. Syra spun around as the after image disappeared and raised his hand and blocked a slash from Corbinek's scythe with his open palm. The skin was ripped open and blood squirted out, but when Syra shook his hand the blood flew off and there was no wound, because it had already been healed. Corbinek made a gesture to Syra and flipped through the air, taking out his bow and letting off a volley of matter removing arrows. "Corbinek you shouldn't underestimate me. I'm a leader just as you are!!!!!!!! Get serious." He flew left , then right to avoid each arrow, but Corbinek grafted each arrow with a telekinetic signature and the arrows followed and Syra flew off at tops speeds, until the arrows hit tree, erasing holes in their structure.
Syra looked towards Corbinek and placed his hand on the ground after a quick drop, causing earth to rip up and rumble towards his foe, but before it reached him, Corbinek fired a shot from his Gamma cannon that looked like a huge stone and it slammed to the ground stopping the attack. "You are good Corbinek, I'll give you that, but what about this??" He sudden;y appeared in Corbinek's face and punched him away, and shot up into the air to follow up with a devastating flurry of kicks and then a head butt that sent Corbinek crashing to the ground. "Ha, with that attack you lose Leader of Zero Ark.", he said as he walked towards Corbinek, but suddenly was sent hurtling backwards.
Corbinek's hand lowered, and he brushed himself off. "It's called stamina. You must be slow. You are using strength alone in an attempt to win, but with out damaging me internally, I can come back again and again." He started to fly away and shook his head. Then there was a thumping sound, as a shot of wind crashed into the barrier behind him.
"DON'T YOU TURN YOU BACK ON ME YOU ARROGANT BASTARD!!!!!!!! TAKE THIS!!!!!!!! HAHHHH!!!!" He started throwing balls of water at Corbinek, that moved and turned to masses of water with spikes, but Corbienk out ran them, and the ones he didn't Rho chopped apart. "I won't lose fight me to the death!!!!" He conjured water into a long blade, and held it together with spiraling wind, then flew at Corbinek. With no time to lose, Corbinek readied his scythe and the tow started to clash at extreme speeds, so intense that small flashes were the only thing visible to humans without enhanced sight. They reappeared breathing heavy, and with cuts and slashes. Syra on the ground healing, and Corbinek in the air, with trees and soldiers around him dropping as he absorbed their life force to heal himself.........both men refused to give in to the other and Syra's face burned with rage as he saw the arrogant look on Corbinek's face.
He threw his hands up and massive amounts of water began to collect around him and the air even began to drain of humidity. The water was floating about his body, and he moved it into and oblong form. At the same time Corbinek threw his blades up and they spun around, alternating spiritual energy and magick, as Corbinek fueled his attack with celestial might, and in a split second hus swords returned to their right place and a gargantuan orb of shifting magick formed, and it was closed off by a shell of dangerously bright light. Both men were using powerful attacks, but their real power could kill everyone there.
"This is it!!!!"
"This is it!!!!"
Water roared diagonally up as a densely concentrated wave of power, just as Corbinek's divine sphere dropped. There was a flux of energy from the start, as both pushed against the other's attack, and Corbinek's attack inched forward, then Syra's. The sheer power in both attacks was tearing up the trees and ground, but they wouldn't stop. Water was pouring on the ground ans excess energy was shotting down as well, causing busts of numerous elements. Sweat dripped from Corbineks brow as he saw Syra spike his blast and it ripped a hole in his attack, causing the nergy to flare out of control and the attack to start moving back towards him. having lost control of this small bout, Corbinek used a swell of telekinesis.......
His attack started to implode, and then all teh energy in it combined witht eh water, creating a lapse as all the magickal energies froze out, then released, causing a more than massive explosion.............with a 400 meter diameter of power.
