Vice opened his eyes slowly and set himself up very slowly he looked around and noticed he was in a grassy feild" Wh....what were am I how did I get here wait"! Vice jumped up as fast as he could he could smell smoke and fire and blood he turned around and seen a smoke coming out of the forest he ran as fast as he could to were he thought it was burning he got lost but quickly found his way back he came to a spot were his house was it was on fire " No who what did this". he ran into his house kicking open the door and knocking it down a big burst of smoke came out of the opening he ran in the burning house looking for his mom and sister anything. wood that was on fire was falling on him " Hello is anyone there HELLO He heard a small voice that was blocked out from the burning and crackling of the fire" Im in here hello Vice is that you" Vice ran into another room untill he he noticed that the house was about to fall in he ran into his sister's room noticing a big pile of wood on fire and somthing moving under it.

He ran into the room kicking down the wood untill he reached his sister he jumped out of the window and looked behind him and the house fell in. " What happened wheres mom who did this" Vices little sister just looked at him and started crying and rested her head in his chest" its ok ill wait untill you can tell me but do it fast i need to know" Vice tore a peice of his shirt and tied it around his arm were he was burnt " Do you have any burns on you" Vices little sister shook her head just then Vice heard a stick break he turned around.

What a pathetic body…such a weak will…GET UP NOW! A deep voiced yelled out in Jin’s head as he suddenly regained consciousness and tightly grabbed onto the wrist of whoever place something on his arm. He then sat up properly and stared down at what was on his arm as his vision started to clear up. A bandage, someone already took the time to treat my wound. Jin thought as he loosened the grip on the wrist he had violently grabbed on to moment ago. “I’m sorry about that miss. I hadn’t realized someone had rescued me.” Jin said in a low voice as he let go of the blond haired woman’s arm after getting a decent look at her and believing she couldn’t be a threat. I couldn’t have been unconscious for too long, meaning that this woman has lives somewhere near where I collapsed and should have at least seen the other body. Jin thought as he quickly took a glance around the room, checking for anything that could give a hint to who this woman could be and she would brother to have helped him.

How did she figure out I was poisoned? Jin thought as he looked back at the woman after looking down at the towel on his arm and feeling the particular type of herb he had placed underneath it. He realized this all seemed to convent for the woman to stumble across the scene so quickly and chose to help, figuring that the woman was most likely an accomplice to the assassin that had attacked him earlier. But if she really is working with him, would she have bothered to help me. Jin wondered as all the pieces to his theory didn’t seem to fit together. “Thank you miss…I’m sorry I should probably get the name of the person who helped me, in order to properly thank her.” Jin said before he getting up off the bed and standing up next to it as he looked in the direction of the blond haired woman and waited for her response.

Serenity felt all her blood rush up her arm as the unconscious man grabbed her arm, violently. When he let go of her arm, she wached as he opened his eyes and say a few words. "It is ok, I like to help people that are in need and you were in need since that kind of poison can only be cured by a certain herb." She said, looking around the room and she stepped back in fear as he stood up. Man, this target would have been hard to kill. One arrow would only pierce him and I couldn't probably even get close enough to use a dagger. Thank goodness I quit! She thought as she heard him ask her name and she quickly thought of a name to give him. "My name, is Destiny... I am a student in the Mesdina." She said, walking out of the room and towards the kitchen. She didn't lie just because she was supposed to kill him but because, she would put him in danger. She heard a knock on the door and then her named called out by Jason. "Oh crap." She said to herself and ran back into her room and closed the door behind her. " Uhmm, can you just stay in here, quietly! I will tell you everything when I get back." She said, nervously and pushed him back away from the door.

Serentiy closed her bedroom door most of the way but it never latched. She walked towards the front door, alittle nervous and opened the door. "Hey Jason, what do you want?" She asked him, when she looked at him on the porch and tried to keep him there. "Let me in, Serenity." He said, pushing through her and into the living room. She shut the door, looking around for any sign of other assassins. She turned towards him and he pushed her against the door. He leaned in towards her and grinned. "The target is free. Flansk was killed and now I can't find the target!" He said, carressing her cheek. "Well, why don't you leave me alone and find the target." She said, angrily and looked into his eyes. "I want you to come with me. What if he comes after us. You will be first." He whispered as he kissed her and she pushed him away. "We are over, Jason! Like I said before, I want out of everything!" She said, walking towards the kitchen and trying to get away from the bedroom.

Destiny was up and out the door. She headed down the road to where she taught some martial arts to some of the younger kids in the town. She felt so independent here in Mesdina, she had her class, and worked part time at a small tavern. She lived alone and enjoyed it, since she cut herself off from most of the world. Her best friend since she had arrived here two years ago was Serenity. She only saw Serenity when she got a chance. It seemed like they were both too busy sometimes to get together. Destiny entered the room where her students would eagerly enter ready to spar. She looked around at the place that she considered her home. She felt complete somehow there, maybe it was because she had always knew how to protect herself. She wanted to share it with others, so they could defend themselves unlike her sister. Destiny still hated herself for not being there with her at the time. She felt as if she let her little sister down, and it killed Destiny. Soon the room would be full of children, happy ones none the less. The door came open and a little boy by the name of Oharan came in. He was the smallest of the class, but he seemed to be the most determind. "HI Oharan, how are you today?", she asked bending down to talk to him. "I'm fine Destiny. I came early today.", he smiled. "YOu come early everyday.", she ruffled up his hair as she got up. Later the class filled with the others and their class began.

Class was over and she said goodbye to the others as they left. Oharan waved and smiled as he left. She smiled at him and said goodbye. Destiny closed the door to the small building, and began down the road to the small tavern in which she worked. She walked in the front doors, all her regulars were sitting around enjoying themselves. "Hi there.", she smiled at an old man that was a regular. He never really spoke to much, "uh", he replied. She pat him on his back as she walked to the back to get ready for a long day.

Fake name, Jin quickly thought after watching the the carefully as he heard her say her name before walking out of the room. As soon as she completely left the room Jin decided to take another look at everything in it as he made his way to the bed room door. But was suddenly stopped as the woman ran back in and pushed him away from the door while telling him to stay and remain quiet. “Wait are you in some kind of trouble or something?” Jin tired to ask as the woman lightly shut the door behind her as she walked out. So then Serenity is her real name. Jin thought as he heard who ever at the door yell out before Serenity had shut the bedroom door on him. If she really was helping out of the kindness out of her heart then there would be no need to give me a fake name would there? Jin wondered as he walked away from the door and made his way towards the bedroom window on the other side of the room.

After approaching the window Jin opened it slowly as he decided that this was probably the best time for him to leave without Serenity noticing. If she really is connected to that assassin from earlier today then my best bet is to escape now, and if the truth is that she honestly just wanted helped me out then I’m just being less of a bother to her by leaving as soon as possible. Jin thought as he stared back at the bedroom door and wondering if maybe he should see wait what Serenity meant by I will tell you everything when I get back. Jin made his way back to the door and tried to listen to the conversation on the other side but stopped as he went to open the as he realized that what was happening outside was really none of his business.

Ilana held her breathe as she laid deep in the hot springs. Her body semerged in the steaming waters, her eyes tightly closed, while her mouth slowly released air bubbles to the top. She raised up slowly, going to the edge of the spring resting her body against the stones that served as a place to rest her body, she sighed and moved her hair back, looking out far past the mountains and the hill top trees. She sighed looking at the sight of the city lights, it was one beautiful thing out of everything ugly. She sighed and rested her head on the palm of her hand, as she breathe in the steam. It was only rare that she could rest like this. She didn't have time, or didn't even want to move to make herself feel at peace. She liked it though, when she finally made the time.

Before she could even become more relaxed she heard a sound coming from behind the huge trees that led deeper into the forest. Ilana grabbed her towl and quickly wrapped it around her. She moved to get her daggers, but her bags were no where to be found. Someone stole them. She wrapped her towl around her tight. She thought to herself that right now a pervert was looking through her bag, drooling over her clothes. Ilana's face couldn't help but turn scarlett red. She stopped when she heard a crack in some sticks on the ground. She figured that she can make a good enough pounce without loosing some dignity. As she was about to attack, she saw baby racoons running off with her stuff. She grabbed her bags before they could get to their hole. She sighed and rubbed her head.

Quickly she started to get change and headed back towards the city. She hadn't been to her apartment in so long. She wondered how many eviction notice she had gotten, or how many of her neighbors thought she was dead? It was not like they wouldn't care, people die left and right, it's a way of life now, for them.

[Enchanted Rose]

Frozen stiff, Selphine knew she could not move. If she did, it would make a sound. Even so much as breathing too loudly would alert the intruders of her presence. Selphine estimated their positions to be about 30 metres south of her. Although nestled between the rows of bookcases in the library’s basement, she could not keep hidden for long if she wanted to exit the building with the secret files she had collected…alive.

However, she did not have to think too hard to find a solution. “Blind” she whispered, brandishing her sword to release the spell, running directly towards the intruders. A cloud of darkness descended upon them, creating chaos amongst the group. Falling into each other, the walls, and then the floor, Selphine became confident enough to approach them, “What do you want?” she asked them in a guarded voice, her katana dangled threateningly.
“T-t-hose files…belong to the government.” one of the men stuttered. Selphine laughed maliciously, “Not anymore,” came the response. Death was quite unnecessary in this situation, besides she didn’t want to bother disposing of the bodies, so she decided a bribe would be the best thing to silence these fools. With her family’s fortune at her disposal, this would not be a problem. Inside, she was laughing.

Arc drank a cup of milk inside what people would consider a tough guy bar."5...4...3...2."He said and then a man walked in with his gang.The leader stepped up to Arc and said,"Get off my seat boy."Arc staid down as if though he didn't hear the command.He continued drinking milk.The leader of the gang spoke in a louder voice,"Get off the seat boy before I kill you."Arc heard the scraping of metallic knives being unsheathed and the monvement of firearms leaving their holsters.He turned around and sat still.That bulkish leader assumed he was blind and said,"Just because you are blindy doesn't mean I wont kill ya,now go!!!"Arc still sat down.

"You've pissed me off,now you'll pay."The leader made a stabbing motion and made an attempt on his life.Arc swiftly pulled out his Odachi from the sheath on his back and blocket the stab.He kicked the man away."It seems we have some trouble brewing."spoke Arc.All of the men backed away a few inches.Arc held his odachi over his shoulders and leaned on the table."Well then,come at me."All the men charged at him in hopes of overpowering him.The brutes were so slow he could practicly hear the movement instead of sensing them.He dodged eacch swiftly and instead of killing them,he cut off their hand so they would atleast still live.

All were defeated with severred hands all over the floor."Leave this town and never plague it again."Arc spoke and left the bar to visit an elderly couple and their married son from within an old house."Thank you very much.The've caused so much trouble these few years.We have very little but we hope its enough."The old man lifted his hand to show a bag of a few dollars worth of many.Arc seemed to have grabbed the money but instead pushed the elders hand down and took out his own bag,which he gave to the elderly woman."I hope this helps.It is yours after all."

Arc left to other places as the old woman opened the bag and spied hundread of dollars worth of coins and an heirloom amulet that belonged to then."Ill meet the eight descendants soon."

Serenity looked at Jason and laughed. "You need to stay out of my life. I am finished with everything and after I take care of a few things, I am leaving!" She said, walking towards a certain drawer but he grabbed her once again and gripped her arm. "You don't understand, I am not leaving here without you. If I have to kill you to do it, I will. You know too much for me just to let go of you!" He said, as he reached down into her belt. She looked down to see a knife stashed away as he showed it to her. "So you coming quietly or will I have to take you by force?" He asked, carressing her cheek but she just threw his arm off her and grabbed into the drawer, pulling out a knife. She ran past him and into her room, locking to door behind her. "Uhmm...you might want to leave." She said, to the man that she had saved and put her knife into her shoe. "Whatever you do, I just want you to know, I was the one that was supposed to kill you but I quit! And, now he is after me. I can't finish the job...Just go!" She said, putting her dresser up against the door and running to her closet. She pushed things aside and found her bow and arrows. "He has this whole place covered by assassins!" She said, looking out her window and seeing a few places he would put them. "Davis, in the tree...with a bow... Francia, with her sword, about a few seconds, watching.." She said to herself and stepping back from the window. "Uhmm... Can you just hide while I take them out because you are weak and I wouldn't want you to get hurt and they don't know you are here." She said, ducking and crawling towards her closet. "They will be here soon." She said, suddenly as they heard something slamming into the door. "My name is Serenity...Sorry I lied but I had too. I know you won't trust me but I will get you out of here, safely." She said, smiling and loading her bow.

TO ALL CHOSEN ONE, A letter read that was sent to each of them. It went on to say in the next day, they were to meet in the courtyard of the Mesdina castle. Serenity had recieved that this morning and tomorrow was the meeting day. She was going to go there but she had to get herself and the target out of this terrible position. She could make it if she could just get rid of Jason. THey wouldn't go anywhere without Jason's command.

Ilana walked up to her small apartment, she started to check the mail box that was outside the door. She sighed and walked inside the apartment. She laid her bags on the floor and walked over to the couch, turning on the lights. She sighed and sat down, resting her feet in the couch, her head resting on the arm rest. She opened it and read it over and over again. Somebody wanted her to go the courtyard. She sighed and was about to throw the letter in the near by waste bin, but then she stopped and sat it on the table.

"Chosen one..."

She whispered. She heard that term from some old people, when she was traveling, but they were old and she found them quite senial. She sighed and closed her eyes, all she wanted to to do was sink into the couch and not think. She figured she would go. What did she really have to loose...

[Ubi Ty]

After making short work of the idiots who were after him, Corbinek continued on his destination. He pulled out the letter he had received and skimmed over it again. it was pretty bland, but the info was there, so that was all that counted.......he was to go to the Mesdina Castle courtyard, along with the other chosen. He was wondering if they were merely chosen, or if they were powerful enough to make a stand. This all seemed to be fate, so he had a feeling that once again he would see his brother, but only hoped that he wasn't corrupted by the darkness. Though it should have been known that dark didn't mean evil...........as some people foolishly tried to point out. He was quite close to Mesdina Castle now, and it was getting late.

"I just hope that all goes well. I am getting tired of all of these hassles, and attacks. I have far better things to do with my time, then simply fight and kill for no reason." Corbinek talked out loud to himself often, because it helped him voice his thoughts, and calmed him in a way. He trekked on, reverting to floating instead of walking, and his mind went back to older times, when Syra and his mother and father were all a family with him. It was quite sad.............

Jin stepped back from the behind the bedroom door as he heard someone quickly approach from the other side and the suddenly open it. “Why?” Jin asked suspiciously before hearing the rest of what Serenity had to say about why he should leave. Deciding to remain quiet, Jin watched silently as he saw Serenity seem to frantically rearrange the room. It wouldn’t be right to just save myself and leave her behind to die would it? Jin wondered as thought about everything that he just learned and knowing that if it was true this woman would probably not last too long if all her former comrades had come together to kill her. “I guess you’re lucky that you happened to quit before making an attempt to kill me, because if you had tried to go through with it…I would have killed without a shred of remorse.” Jin said in a heartless tone as kicked the dresser forward in order place tighter against the door and hopefully keep whoever was on the other side out for a few seconds longer.

“So then Serenity, since it seems that you went out of your way to risk your neck in order protect me. I owe and because of that I won’t simply abandon you and forcing you to face your execution squad all alone.” Jin said as he moved over to the window and took a quick glance outside to notice the two people waiting outside, that he heard Serenity had mentioned earlier. “Plus now that your former coworkers now want you dead, we are basically in the same mess by being trapped in this room together. More or less we have become partners even if it’s just temporary.” Jin said as he lifted up the mattress from the bed and used it to cover the window so that he and Serenity appeared to be barricade in the room at least momentarily. “Now then how’s about we leave and let these fools think that you locked yourself in here with no way to escape. I hope you not afraid of the dark.” Jin said jokingly with half a smile before taking a hold of Serenity’s hand in attempt to help her up as large dark shadow had suddenly appeared underneath them, quickly absorbing them both in dark aura. Then as quickly as the darkness had appeared it vanished after instantly teleporting them deeper into the woods a few minutes away from the house. “Do have somewhere else you can where they won’t be able to find you?” Jin asked after quickly looked around to make sure no one else was around and then looked back at Serenity as he waited for her response.

Destiny poured the drink for the old man, "Don't you think you've had enough?", she asked him with a smile. "Ahh, I never have enough you should know that about now.", He swallowed most of the glass before placing down again. Destiny saw the door open of the small tavern, she looked at the man that she knew could bring her down. Stallon walked over to the bar and sat down next to the old man. His fierce green eyes looked at her. He turned to the old man, "What are you having my man, let me get you another.", he looked back up at Destiny. "Ahh, anything. It all tastes the same anymore.", the old man laughed. "Well you heard the man.", his eyes followed her every move. "Why are you here Stallon?", she was getting annoyed. "Hey, where is that town hospitallity?", he smiled now. "You're not welcome here. You know that, so leave.", she looked at him, her brown hair falling to her cheek. "You're getting kind of rude, don't you think. You're supposed to be nice to your customers. Besides I need to get this nice man here a drink.", he was smirking now. Destiny wished she could lash out and break his neck, but she kept her calm. She poured another glass for the old man, "There he is official intoxciated, feel better now." She threw his money at him and walked out from the bar. Stallon got up and grabbed her arm, "We aren't finished here." Her face turned to him, she spit in his eye, "Yes we indeed are." She pulled her arm away from him. Al the owner came out, "What's going on here?", he asked folding his arms. "This sir here was just leaving.", Destiny's eyes were fired with hate. Stallon looked at her his eyes staring her down. "We're not through, Ill find you. I know everything, so be ready.", he turned and stormed out of the tavern. Destiny shook with anger as she watched him leave. Destiny finished up her shift and left for the night.

Serenity looked around as the darkness swallowed them and she gripped his hand. "Uhmm, darkness and I don't get..along." She said, closing her eyes and then when she felt the light again, she opened them. her ahir fell to her shoulders and she loked around. "I am fine. You should go somewhere safe. They will be searching for us. He probably has already a batch of assassins looking for you. You should get out of Mesdina." She said, walking towards the entrance of the forest and looking out into the distance at the city. "I have to go into the city but I have to find a disguise so I can get there safely. Jason's men are everywhere." She said, putting her hands on her hips and pushing her bow up on her shoulder. She kneeled down and looked under her pants to see a few daggers. "Ok, I am prepared so what is your name before we part." She said, looking back at him and smiled. Man, how can a target be so cute? Well, he has to be doing something for the wrong person since Jason was supposed to take care of him. So what is his story. She thought, walking towards him and grinned at him. She crossed her arms and stood in front of him.

A man looked around the courtyard of the castle and held a paper with the list of people. He had everything about them, where they were born; mother and father's name; their occupation; weaknesses and strengths; and their history. He paced around, looking out among the town. Soon the chosen ones would begin to meet and it was his responsibility to take care of them. he had to tell them what was going on and how they were going to fix it. The knig called him out especially for this duty.

The courtyard was a lively looking place, but not as nice as other places he'd scene. Corbinek always made random appearances, that were usually unlike anyone else's. This time he had just arrived outside the courtyard, and Corbinek loved to mess around with other's heads. The spacer around the man warped slightly, making it seem as if the air itself was bending and then an arm reached out of the space, revealing a torso, and then Corbinek as a whole stepped out of the space, looking the man up and down before grinning at him and see he was holding a long list.........

"Well now, that was fun, but getting here was hella annoying. I supposed I'll b on that list if it's for what I think it is." Corbinek grinned again, and cracked his neck in both directions, before sitting down in the air and staring at the man, waiting for a response. he was going wait, but his curiosity got the best of him after a few seconds. "So umm..........who are you anyway?? Is there a reason you are the one waiting here for us, and not another, or were you just selected because you suck at everything else??"
