Ventura Academy: Battle For Dominance

Chad sat there and then looked around. "Oh, I'm not alone anymore" thought Chad. He looked over to the guy standing and answered his question. "Earth, but I might start learning others" answered Chad. "My names Chad" answered Chad putting his hand out for him to shake. The he looked over to his other side to answered the pther guy question. "Well, I don't really like getting into fights so no, not really" answered Chad putting his other hand out for the other guy to sake.

Nodding her head at the announcement, then afterward felt like an idiot for nodding her head, she literally disappeared from sight. A few moments later she reappeared stealth-like beside Kurohime, bowing slightly to show respect she turned toward the center of the room.

"Nice to meet you..." In one way or another... "So your an earth elemental??? Sounds fun... Do you consideryourself a strong earth elemental... No... Do you think that you are the best one here??? If so then we should meet up sometime and do battle... I could use the practice..."

Jinan shook his hand and then stood with the one kid that was standing. "So whats the deal??? Why are you standing up???"

"I'm happy with some training, my earth abilities are probably the strongest, I'm always the best in class" answered Chad standing up with the others. "But the sad thing is, the teachers never say that" chuckled Chad.

Shinichi began to grow impatient. Everyone was chattering away and making friends, all he wanted to know was if he got accepted or not. He turned and noticed the masked girl had joined them. When did she get there, he thought looking away.

The stage was soon filled and he looked at the clock on the screen. 1 minute left, he thought while tapping his foot. "Whats the deal?," some guy asked, "Why are you standing up?"

Shinichi realized he was talking to him. "Theres nothing better to do," He replied nonchalantly. "I just wanna get this over with."

"Maybe they don't say it because you still have alot to learn??? You never know...Sometimes the best may end up being just a lacky of something greater..." He then turned away from them and went into the farthest corner in the building. He sat there by himself facing the wall. "These weaklings disgust me... I want to see... True Strength!!!"

"Haha your not the only one. You might as well get comfortable and relax. Im pretty sure they will tell us soon... er or later... I bet your in. You have nothing to worry about!!! Oh i forgot!!! I'm Jinan!!! Fire elemental of the-" He looked back at Zing, "Fire elemental. Best of the class!!! Whats your info???"

Chad looked at the guy walk away. "Wonder what's wrong with him" he thought before he looked around the room then noticed a girl looking staright at them. "I wonder if she knows that thats called staring" thought Chad chuckling to him self then sat back down.

Kuro looked round as the girl appeared next to her. She bowed back and was going to greet her, but realised she still didn't know her name. Shrugging it off, she gazed into the centre of the stage, wondering when this thing was gonna start.
Surely it won't take much longer.

Time for the witty thief to make his exit... He looked around to see if anyone was watching. He then saw the group of people that he was w3ith earlier. They seem preoccupied enough... He then ran down the Earth elemental hallway and entered the Earth Virtual Room. He disabled the virtual settings and switched it to the regular white globe. He then saw the door to the control room. He entered it an reversed the natural boost that it gave the Earth elemental students... This should shake up there exams... Hahahaha!!!

He then did the same thing to the Water and Air rooms. Jinan noticed that Zing had gone missing. "Hey uh... I have to go use the bathroom could you save my spot???" He then left and went to the fire room. He waited for Anything suspicious to happen, but nothing did. Zing then entered the room and ran directly into Jinan. "I knew you were messing with the rooms!!! I don't care if you mess with the others but when you step into my territory your foing to far." "I'm just trying to have a little fun... Chill out.Someone of your caliber should know how to control his powers even in a minus zone. So why do you fret?" "I don't!!! I just don't feel like sitting through a lecture or having anything be delayed. You know what... I don't have time to front... You know who i am and i know who you are so lets stop the bullshit."

"I thought you would never say those words!!!" Zing used his streak to to get behind Jinan in a flash. When he struck Jinans back he was stopped by Jinans kunai. He had prepared for the attack! He already knew what I was going to do!!! Jinan then fired a fire spell in a horizontal line he also shot a fire spell in front and jumped into the air. Zing had no clue what was about to happen. He had used streak to dodge the first spell. Then the second spell cam from no where so he jumped. He then was met with an ability hindering slash from Jinans kunai. "Silencing Strike!!!" He ran through Zing with his skill. the only down fall was that this attack oinly stopped the last attack that the person was using or the spell that they were currently using. Zing knew this and he started to use his weakest thunder spell.

The kunai then cancelled out his weakest thunder spell causing him to forget how to use it. He then used streak and attacked with his fingertips. They had red thunder overflowing through his tips. "Hmph you are good..." Jinan summoned his fire style by doing a series of hand signals and then his hands and feet both lit on fire. The two of them were fighting hand to hand combat. Zing was blocking all of jinans attacks while holding back his own. He was waiting for him to repeata move but they lkept coming. He then noticed that they have the same type of fighting style!!! he switched to his mantis style and started to counter all of Jinans moves.

Jinan tried a punch to the torso. Zing grabbed his hand and pulled his knee into Jinans stomach Then while Jinan was winded he entered into his Izuna drop combo. He did twelv attacks to the torso, five attacks to the legs. Thius made his body numb and to the mind seem light. Then he dropped to the ground landing back first, pulled in his feet and then pushed out to l launch Jinan into the air. when Jinan was inf the air Zing said, "Izuna Drop: Fantastic Swirl!!!" He removed his bladed fans and sliced Jinaan twice horizontally, three times vertically and the two diagonal slices. He finished with a two arm slash with thunder striking from the ground and pushing Jinan into the air. Zing then jumped off the air and grabbed Jinan. They were at least fifty feet in the air. "Finale! Izuna Drop!!!" He then started to spin while holding Jinan. As they went crashing into the ground right before they hit Zing pushed off and flew up into the air, and he drop Jinan into the ground in a cloud of strong thick dust.

"Hey.. uh i have to go use the bathroom, could you save me a spot." asked Jinan suspiciously. Shinichi agreed and watched as he ran towards the fire room. What is he up to? he thought turning slightly. Looking back at Kurohime he said, "I'll be back, save two spots."

He ran towards the fire room and stopped as he saw one of the teachers patrolling. The large clock on the wall showed that there were 30 seconds left in the exams, therefore closing off the rooms to all students. He sneaked past the teacher and looked into the virtual room. It was different than the room he had fought in, this one was white.

The two from before, Zing and Jinan were fighting. They were really good too. Shinichi watched and then noticed Zing about to use his final move. "Finale: Izuna drop!" he shouted as he began to drop Jinan into the ground.

Instict kicked in as Shinichi began to cover himself in metal. When Zing jumped up into the air Shinichi ran out and slid under Jinan who fell on him. The force of the move created a massive crater on the floor. Dust arose and slowly relinquished all the metal. "Man, is that gonna leave a bruise," he said pushing Jinan off of him. "You all right?"

The body that they thought was Jinan turned into a fire spell that was so strong it started to burn the cloths on the kid that was two feet away from it. The spell leaped into the air and attached itself to Zing. Then the real Jinan was arose from the floor. While Zing was distracted with the fire spel Jinan ran up the side of the dome, on the roof of the dome, and then once he was directly over Zing he pushed himself off the roof and sliced through him with his sword and kunai. "Game set and match..."

Zing fell to the floor after being scorched and sliced. He accepted defeat and left the fire room. When he entered the exam room he looked at the clock. "Hmph I guess this place isn't to strict on punctuality..." Jinan went to help the kid who tried to save him. "Hey you ok!!! That was a level six fire spell, and your not burnt? I guess it wasn't that close, or maybe there is something else helping you??? We have to leave before the teachers catch us and we look like we did something wrong." Jinan ran out and walked over to Zinng. He sat next to him.

"If you keep acting reckless then your going to get caught and i won't save you..." "Maybe fellow clans men shouldn't be attacking each other over a simple prank..." "Listen i just wanted my exam room to be fair. If im all powerful and everyone else is weak then they will suspect that im not what i say i am." "And what is that" "NORMAL!!!" Jinan had gotten mad with Zing for questioning him. He was so mad that he was now standing and he had yelled that last word at the top of his lungs.

"Listen niether of us are normal. That's why we joined the clan... Together..." Jinan had sat back down. "Either way. Your life is a cloud, while my life is on the most popular website on the planet in five minute increments." Zing stood up, but calmly and quietly said, "You think that your life is so much different because your the president of a company that probably supplied these virtual arenas." He then continued while walking to his corner,"Well let me tell you something. Our social status may be on two different sides of the road, but the way people treat us, the way that we feel about our lives, or even the way we think are all similar." He was about half way then he stopped and said with the first real smile that he had put on all day, "Keep hangin around and you will see that you and me have alot in common."

I stood in the center with my friends, we had all passed. I looked around and saw some others leave, but it wasn't any of my business. I looked around and noticed everyone I had seen before also in the middle, besides the people who had left.

Patiently awaiting the crowd to settle down, Alizark went through some parts of his thoughts. "Surely this won't have any backlash... on my part anyway. Good enough." Turning on the microphone, Alizark started to address the crowd which had gathered.

"As I have observed, most of you must've passed the test and found it too easy. Under normal circumstances, this would be a good thing. In fact, it would be a great achievement if all my students were to ace all my tests. However, this is not the case for this particular instance." Alizark paused for a while, trying to catch his breath. The room temperature was notably high for him. He also had noticed that the Ice stage was actually melting. The stages were designed to function similarly to their corresponding terrain to provide a sense of realism.

Noting this, Alizark continued. "Ventura Academy can only support a certain populace of students. That is why, as current head proctor, I will issue an impromptu tournament. Winners will be assured a spot at the academy. Now, please take note of the main screen to see who you will be figthing against. Also, they will be no Magick matches. Anyone caught using any form of Magick will be disqualified immediately. This is for the sole fact that our stages can only sustain a certain limit of Magick flow once a day and we're already pushing it to its breakingpoint."

The main screen in the exam room started filling up with all of the applicants' names. One by one, they were being matched up.

"No Magick!! oh boy, this will be fun" thought Chad waiting for is name. "I wonder who'll I'll fight? please tell me it's not a girl, I hate it when they start to cry" thought Chad until he saw his name come up. "Ok, lets see who the kid I'm fightng is" thought Chad moving head to the right.

Zing and Jinan both looked upon the screen to see if they were even in the same bracket. They saw that they were both in the same bracket but they weren't in the same match yet... They had to wait until they both were on their third match to go against each other. "You better win!!!" He said with that same genuine smile he had on earlier. "Hahaha Same to you!!!" They walked away fromeach other and Jinan went into the announcer box. He walked inside with two brief cases. One was obviously larger than the other. He looked at the man and said, "Umm i believe that i can help you with you budgets. But can we make this quick because i don't have all day?"

"Lets get to business. You need money to fund this school and i can support that. Who am I? I am Jinan president of the most wealthy company in the world. Yes i am the teenage president that you hear of all the time. I run Black Ink Productions. So if you want i could throw 50 g's here a million more there and we can make a deal??? Now i still want this tournament to go on but i don't want any one to be removed from this school. This good with you???" He opened the first one and it had $50,000 in it. "If you shake my hand everything in this briefcaseand the next brief case are yours. A million dollars are inside this second briefcase. This should cover those budget plans. So do we have a deal???" He extended his hand out to the announcer.
