Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | The coliseum seemed to grow bigger and bigger as Ren got closer. It was bigger than anything he had ever seen. There were massive pillars with multiple entrances surrounding it and he noticed lots of little pieces of paper advertising the event glued onto the wall. Never in his entire life did Ren think he would get off of his planet. He thought he would grow up to be some sort of Elven farmer... gross, he thought. While he was running he ran into a guy messing with a dice. "Ah!" He said picking up the dice the guy dropped. "My apologies!" He continued to run and finally made it to the coliseum. Before him was the towering monolith known as the coliseum. He walked in slowly, taking everything in. As he walked down the halls he noticed many more flyers advertising the event. Some showed last years champions picture, he looked strong. Wow, He thought as he walked towards the entrance and into the arena. I really gotta start training! He noticed a girl walking. He waved his hands calling for her. "Hey!" he shouted trying to get her attention. Last edited by Kibamaru18; November 7th, 2009 at 06:49 AM. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Currently playing: Florensia. Level: EXP: | "Okay..." Tyki agreed. Another Fiend hunt wouldn't hurt, right? As Zan winked at her, Tyki could hear Miu grumbling distastefully. "Oh, it's this annoying guy again. More fans, I see." "Yep..." It was true. Tyki was sure that every time she saw Zan, he had much more fans following him than the last time she'd seen him. He was like a shepherd and the fans were his sheep. They followed him everywhere and bleated when they wanted something, like an autograph. Tyki was glad she didn't have a group of people following her like he did. It would just be too tiresome. She stood up from the steps and brushed herself off, wondering where they would be going to catch the Fiends. |

| Mr. Solo Dolo | "And, uh, sure, I'll come and help ya bring down some Fiends..." Zekkai winced at Zan’s words help? Me?, Yeah, right. The Artisan next went on to wink at Tyki, and just as he did a disgusted look fell on her face. Zekkai couldn’t help but chuckle. The Idealist also agreed to the excursion, albeit a lot less enthused by the thought than the two males. As she stood up, ready to leave Zekkai shut his eyes, catching just a few more winks before they trio shoved off. There was a huge clearing just out past the forest, that’s where the bigger, tougher Fiends would lie. Finally, after one last hearty yawn, the young Caesar (as he addressed himself), hopped up. The ferret along his neck jumped up off his shoulders, preferring to get a move on by herself. As Kia strutted on past the Champions, and the fans too, Zekkai just tilted his hat, scratching his head rather tiredly. In fact Zekkai seemed very…dry at the moment, like his mind was elsewhere. He took a dull glance at the sky above, counting to himself the number of birds in the sky. Three. “Aite. Guess we should get a move on huh…” And like that the Champions-Three were off, Zan of course had to take lead, after all, he was the biggest star there. "My apologies!” Zekkai looked forward to see a rather energetic young man bump into Zanguyn, he seemed to be in quite a rush somewhere as he handed the star his dice and took off towards the Coliseum. Zak looked in disbelief at him as he ran off, this kid was a contestant. He had to be if he was going to the Coliseum, and plus, if he was a local he would certainly have known at least one of the three of them. Instead the boy paid no mind to them, coming and going just like they were any old Common Folk, truth be told it almost made him mad to not be noticed, but the anger soon subsided as another thought crossed his mind. If all of them are like that kid, It’ll be a cake walk, Kia’ll be back to herself in no time. “Tch, competition’s lookin pretty,” He shrugged, “Under whelming this year?” He still thought though, they must have thought the same of him too when he arrived last year. And he thought, then again. “If that’s all, let’s get the hell outta here shall we?” -- -Field Outside of Haven- Zekkai took a broad look around the emerald green plains, indeed the pickings were scarce. There was barely anything around save for himself and the occasional boulder for the sake of scenery. Did the Fiends sense they're coming, if so, there was bound to be a sneak attack. “Something is definitely rotten in the state of Denmark, said Marcellus.” He tilted back his cap and scratched at his head, utterly confused. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() Level: 11 EXP: | "Hey!" Sylfae turned and looked around to see an elf running towards her. Raising an eyebrow, she dubiously raised her hand slightly back at him before looking around herself, to make sure he wasn't talking to someone else. Nobody around her. Strange. Do you know this kid? Nope. I don't think he was a contestant either. So drop kick him off the coliseum and see how long he survives. Might as well, there's nothing to do while we wait. As incredibly tempting as it is, Sylf, I think I'll pass, really. Why? Because that's why I exist. To keep you from destroying the world. Sighing to herself, and ignoring her sister's mental laugh, Sylfae turned and greeted the elf. "So.... hi, I guess? I don't think I know you... do I?" |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | "So.... hi, I guess? I don't think I know you... do I?" He smiled at her and extended a hand. "I'm Ren," he said looking at the massive arena. "Sorry if i startled you... didn't really mean to." The coliseum was massive. It contained an innumerable amount of seats and they were all facing the center. There were screens everywhere so that those without great seats could see better. As he looked at the girl he noticed something odd about her. Even though he just met her she seemed... broken somehow. All in all though, Ren felt they would become friends in no time. |

Drop kicking is still an option. Well he is friendly, we should try to be friendly back. Screw friendliness, its not like he's just saved our lives. Well that's- Sylfae's mental dialogue was cut off as Sylfaè took over suddenly. "But more importantly, who the hell are you. If you don't have any business with me then you can go now." Sylfaè said with a slight bow, grinning in a cynical manner. And this is why I do the talking. Not you. I don't see anything wrong with what I just asked. It's not what you asked, it's how you asked... Fine you do it. Sylfae closed her eyes briefly and straightened. ""What I meant was, why do you wish to talk to me?"" There. Now you've probably frightened him and embarrassed us. Then kill him and no one will remember. Problem solved. If I could mentally sigh, I would have done so. But you can't. If I could have mentally grinned, I would have done so. Sigh. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | (OOC: Didn't I mention that the fans were pushed away? Zanguyn dismissed them; they might be slightly deranged and follow him everyware, but they still do everything he tells them to, including the rather rare occasions when he actually tells the to, *gasp* LEAVE?! WHAT?! But, uh, yes, when he's got a job to do he generally tells them to essentially 'get lost' only more tactfully.) “Something is definitely rotten in the state of Denmark, said Marcellus.” Zan looked at Zekkai with a puzzled expression on his face. *What the hell...? Why does that dude always qoute, uh, what's-his-name, that poet guy...? I swear that guy, is, like, nuts...* thought Zan. *Still,* he thought *at least that douche-bag from earlier gave me back my dice. Seriously, what would I do without it...?* As the trio walked along, Zan began to realise that no one was talking. Well, they DID, but not to him. They just talked to themselves, or to, like, their personal belongings. Tyki would occasionally say stuff to her staff, and Zekkai would talk to his ferret. *Weirdos...* he thought. However, as they were walking through a rather large field, something actually important occured to him. "Hey guys, have you, like, noticed that, like, there're no Fiends? I mean, seriously? We're just in a big empty field..." However, at that moment he began to feel a tremor of sorts, moving through the ground. "Dudes, like, do ya feel that?!" he said, a measure of shock and fear in his voice. "Do ya think it might be, like, a Fiend?!" he said wide-eyed (O_O). |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | When Raven awoke he was lying in the middle of a empty grass field. As he stood his leftarm felt heavier than normalhe looked over to see a gauntlet of sorts it had a blade attached and at that moment the blade swung foward like a switchblade until it clicked at his wrist it was now flipped to his wrist."Death must have put this on me to give me a little something to defend Myself with hesaid within his mind. He looked down to notice the grass dying around his feet and that he was wearing the traditiional reaper apprentice robes. He then surveyed his surroundings seeing three other people made this empty field less welcoming since one was holding a staff prepared for any thing while another scratchedhis head. HE the nbegan walking and used shadow veil to get within ear shot of them it was then that he heard a rumble from beneath him he quickly warped to a nearby tree and leaned the guitar strapped to his back against it. He then looked back towards the one scratching and instantly was their in a shadowy wrathlike smoke the grass beneath his feetdying still. the rumbling came from beneath him as the earth began to crack around them. the blade instantly flung foward in another switch bladelike motion. "This might be fun" he thought quietly and began chuckling a little. Last edited by Razputen; November 9th, 2009 at 02:45 AM. |

| Mr. Solo Dolo | ((Sorry took a minute to post)) "Hey guys, have you, like, noticed that, like, there're no Fiends?" “Yes Zan.” “There stood the Champions Three, In Emerald Fields nervous as could be. Seldom was there the rustle of a tree, Nor the buzz of the tiny honey bee. A tremor in the distance And certain...omnipresence they could pose some—“ He seemed to be reaching for inspiration towards the end. Zekkai’s words flowed ever so eloquent and rhythmic, despite the situation ready to unfold before him, the champion was totally zen. Unlike a certain one of his peers who seemed a tad bit shaken. "Do ya think it might be, like, a Fiend?!" “Yes, Zan.” Tyki only confirmed his comrade’s fear. And then there was that…he didn’t know what it was, only a feeling. Something had felt off since they stepped into the fields. Like somebody around there was watching him, but what Common Folk would have been stupid enough to come out this far? And the other champions were supposed to be with the Overlord, so maybe it was something more…malevolent in the air. The rumbles grew louder now, and Zekkai’s flame was officially lit. Crimson irises flickered full of adrenaline now, as he slid into his battle stance; left arm in his pocket, right arm out, his palm brought eye level and partially clinched, as if he were trying to grab the air. This may have looked totally open to unfamiliar eyes, but those who have seen the Poet in action know this poses trouble. Because now, with his hand out Zekkai was steadily gathering up stray Imagination in the area. Whatever was coming their way was going to have truly one hell of a welcoming party. The ground immediately below them sounding like it was burping deep below, and it was getting closer, “Shit! Here it comes! Get ready you two!” He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but as the exploding ground was sending the trio flying backwards, he felt another one among them. His suspicions were confirmed when the smoke cleared and he remembered where he was. Zekkai flimsily recovered his stance, trying to take it all in, he didn’t have much time to do so, because thrashing about in the giant pit from which it came was a gruesome looking earthworm. Going down any side were huge pulsing green nodes, maybe some sort of weak spot they could exploit, and then its mouth, well, it was huge, and lined with several rows of sharp fangs. There was another person there, a man, clad in black robes that made him look like the Grim Reaper himself he was brandishing a huge claw. “Hey! Games don’t start till later, so, if you’re tryin to do somethin’ useful, help up tear this bastard down!” Zekkai hollered, a purple pulsating aura began to form around his drawn palm. “Oberon!” ((sorry if it seemed like a power played with the whole having us get tossed back, I figured if the ground literally exploded we wouldn't just be standing around right?)) |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | Zanguyn felt the force of the creatures apperance, flying back as it ripped itself from the ground. "Yikes!" he said before he landed on his backside. He quickly regained his composure, but he then realised he'd dropped his dice somewhere into the pit. "Gosh dang it!" he said, taking an 'awesome' stance and readjusting his shades. "I've lost my dice! Without it I can't summon a weapon... I can't fight!" he shouted, his voice seeming to become more high-pitched with every word (as people tend to when they start to panic). "What am I gonna do?! (o_O) We're all gonna die! I'M GONNA DIE!" he screamed, before he started weeping to an almost ridiculous amount, as he crouched on the ground, taking up a fetal position. ~~~~ Marsh ~~~~ The day had been a long and interesting one. He had been trekking through the woods, seeking shelter for the night. Then the messanger had arrived, then the messanger had DIED, then he'd traced the creature, and low-and-behold, he found the creature, dead. Slain by a young wolf-pup, an old friend who Marsh hadn't seen in just under a year. 10 months, to be exact. They'd discussed what'd happened and ate by the fire... Canis had apparently now been living with a local farmer for the last few months, earning a wage and a place to stay, whilst waiting for the chance to attack, to bring his Father down and take the throne. All had been good, it seemed, and Marsh had been doing well to. He'd been traveling around to further practice his skill at magic and to truly grow as a person. He'd matured alot, it seemed, and he'd become more confident; when they'd first met, he had been merely a scared child, really, who's focus and drive during their battle had come from Adrenaline, nothing more. Now, however, he was a force to be reckoned with. And when he returned to his home, to his family and friends, he truly would be a man, not a boy. Now, a couple of days had passed, and Marsh was ready to set out. "Goodbye Canis, my old friend." he sais as he looked out at the wide fields... the great wide world, where he would continue his journey. However, as he was finished loading his stuff onto the back of the horse that Canis had lent him, he noticed single, solid beam of light coming from the forest, right from it's center going high into the sky. |

Before she hit the ground, she backflipped and landed on her feet, rather like a cat. "Woooah, it's a big one!" Miu was commenting on the size of the ginormous earthworm creature in front of the trio. "How do we beat it?" "Hmm, maybe try... freezing it?" Tyki rushed towards the worm, staff held out in front of her. The worm's tail suddenly lashed out past her face, grazing it slightly. "Wah, Tyki you got hit!" "Don't worry, I'm fine." She aimed the staff at the worm's head and began to shoot shards of ice into it's gaping mouth. |

He quickly raised his right hand and a devilish looking dark hand materialized and shot out towards the objects when they were in his hand he held dice.He used shadow veil to get closer quickly he dropped the dice in front of the man now crumpled with fear. "Get up" He Ordered as he sent the arm at the beast throat flying towards it and swinging up towards its head it then lashed downward with its sharp pointed tail. "Stupid animal" He silently whispered he moved out of the way as the monster stabbed itself right in the top of the head. HE quickly swung down to the ground and shot the death grip at the pointed part of the tail now portruding from the bottom of the creatures jaw he grabbed it and quickly pulled to keep it from moving he looked back and said . Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | (OOC: I'll post as the OverLord and his conversation with Lankolyk & Sholryk soon, but for the moment I'm gonna play some Zanguyn... heh heh). "Get up" "Huh...? I'm not... dead?! HUZZAH!" he said, as he now started weeping tears of relief and joy. "I'm ALIVE! I'M SO HAPPY! *hic*" at this point, though it occured to Zanguyn that he was looking like a wimp. Which, of course, he was, but that didn't change the fact that looking like a wimp was 'totally naff', in his words. He then noticed his dice, lieing on the ground in front of him. "Give it everything you got!" shouted the mysterious stranger "Oh, uh, right, yeah!" he said, regaining his composure "Let's see what I roll!" said the 'Artisan', throwing his dice up into the air. For a breif moment time seemed to stop, before they came back down and, with an almost blinding flash, they landed back in his open hand. When the flash dimmed, there were no longer two small, unassuming dice in his hands: rather, there was a star-shaped guitar in their place: The Star's Guitar He then struck an 'awesome' pose and faced the creature. "Alright ugly, your going down!" he said, before he lifted his shades and winked at the creature, creating a tremendous flash of light. Unfortunetly, Zan forgot the very basic piece of information that earthworms (regardless of wether they're giant & mutated or fairly small and ordinary) DO NOT HAVE EYES... >_< (OOC: Well, that's that. BTW, when Zanguyn winks he creates a bright flash of light; not on purpose, it's just what happens. He has (quite literally) got that 'star quality', to the point where his eyes actually glow with the fury of a thousand stars (note, they GLOW with the fury of a thousand stars: they don't actually produce any more heat then anyone elses eyes... o_O). It's why he wears sunglasses all the time. If he didn't, people would literally be blinded by his presence...) |
