"Marsh!" Canis said as he ran up to him, giving him a hug. "How are you? I haven't seen you in about a year." He released himself from the man. He saw Marsh looking at him, wide eyed, then the beast he just killed. "It's a very long story." I wonder if he got the letter too. He pulled out the envelope from his pocket. "Hey Marsh, did you get a letter like this?" |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() Level: 11 EXP: | So are you going then? Don't know. Don't really care. Its not my kind of thing, sister. You know that. So I'll handle it. I'm interested at least. We turned it down last year, so we should go this year then. Heh, fine. But I don't want to be a part of this, don't come calling for me when you get beaten. Sylfaè snorted to herself, confusing the messenger than had appeared just a few minutes ago to once again redeliver the letter. The exact same one she had received last year. "So what happens if I decide to go?" The messenger began to bow, but stopped as Sylfaè smacked him across the head. "I asked what happens if I decide to go, not if you decided to bow. Answer the question" Rubbing his head, the messenger sullenly replied, "Be there by the date written on the lett-" "And how is that possible? You delivered it after the date written." The messenger's eyes widened in shock and he began to stammer before Sylfae took over. "Never mind, we'll manage. Go home safely, there's quite a few Fiends loose here." Backing away, the messenger turned and left, relieved that he would finally be leaving this strange and mentally disturbed girl. Well that was an immature thing to do. We have plenty of time to arrive. Hey, he just really pissed me off with his attitude. He was bowing to us.... Yeah exactly. He's got no ball- Okay, okay, I get your point. Let's get going. Turning back, Sylfae left, ignoring the waves of amusement coming from her sister. What was the quickest way there? She'll have to check some of her books. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | As Ren slept he dreamed about going to the other planet and his victory in the games. He would be loved by everyone and growled by everyone too. Growled? Ren thought in his dream. He could hear a faint growling sound and quickly woke up. When he opened his eyes he saw a large creature sniffing around, salivating as it did so. Ren stood to his feet and grabbed his sword. The creature saw him and snorted loudly. It stood there, waiting for any slight movement. Ren dashed towards it before it could react. He yelled, "Incedia!" and as he did his sword began to glow a bright red and then white. He jumped over the monster and as he did he dug his sword into the creatures back. It cried the most blood curdling scream Ren had ever heard. Ren then jumped onto its back and pulled out an arrow he had dipped in poison earlier that day and shot it into the wound. Ren watched as the fast acting elven poison blackened the creatures insides killing it. Ren jumped off of its back and looked at the poor creature. "What the heck was that?!" Liana yelled as she ran up to Ren. "I don't know," He replied. They followed the tracks the creature had left and it led them to a clearing in the forest where there were footprints leading in all directions. "Ren..." Liana said nervously, "I don't think that was the only one." Ren looked at her and shook his head. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Currently playing: Florensia. Level: EXP: | Deciding to use a different spell to catch this Fiend than the last one, Flegamtyk leapt high into the air above the creature. She landed nimbly on it's small back and pointed her staff at it's head before performing Kurodoku. The creature instantly fell and began writhing on the ground. Tyki didn't worry though. She hadn't poisoned it enough to kill it, only to cause it a little pain so it wouldn't attack and she could easily drag it to the colliseum. "Another one down! You're getting better with your magic, Tyki!" "Thanks..." Tyki replied to Miu's small comment. In her mind though, she thought wasn't getting any better. She dropped the Fiend off at the gate of the colliseum and used Shirodoku to heal the poison, then she sat outside the gate. She'd already caught quite a few Fiends, the break would do her good. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | Marsh turned to his friend, who he had not seen for a great deal of time, and saw him hold out the letter. "Oh, um... yeah, here it is!" he said, reaching in to his coat pocket and holding out the invitation he had recieved. He was, of course, happy to see his friend after so long, but he kept thinking back to the messanger, crushed by some kind of large hammer. "Canis, the man who gave me this message, he's dead..." he said before turning to the slain creature. "I think that this THING may well have done it..." Man, gotta change the subject to something more cheerful...* "Oh, so, uh, you got an invite as well, 'aye? I'm not sure how we're gonna get there, but when we do, it'll be awesome! We'll win, and we'll be champions!" he said. |

Anyway, how about we travel together, you know, two heads are better than one." Canis suggested. He placed the letter in his pocket. "It's getting late, so I guess I'll get some food for us." Canis said as he walked away. When he returned, he had bagged 5 deer and a raccoon. "So, how do you like your food cooked?" Last edited by qster; November 5th, 2009 at 12:58 AM. |

| Mr. Solo Dolo | Two distinct patterns of footsteps echoed down the coliseum’s stone hallways. The first had two sets, four tiny pitter-patter footsteps bounced off the walls, and an occasional bored snort too. The other was much more massive in proportion, it was a human, and not just any human either. This guy was the Omniversal Games Champion. Well, he was soon to be a former champion. For the new games were right around the corner, and with it the time for him to defend his crown. It was unusually quiet today, probably because all the messengers were finally gone, out to their respective assigned lands to deliver the message of challenge. The champion, excuse me, has-been champion, smirked at the memory of the day the messenger came to his world and with it finally delivered him a ticket out of that dreadful place. Zekkai didn’t like his home-universe. Even now, with color and creativity fully restored to the land like he wished, he didn’t want to return. It was too…. mundane. The people there barely even knew what a ‘fist-fight’ was, never the less would they ever think of holding a tournament. The Overlord realm was much more exciting, spell casters, warriors, Fiends! This place had it all; It was much more his speed. Just as Zekkai began to mentally list all the things about this realm he loved, he caught glimpse of an advertisement for this year’s games. Oh joy. With a rather displeasured tone he read began to read the poster aloud. The 10,000th Annual Omniversal Games! This very special anniversary edition will feature even more soul-crushing events than before! Watch as countless warriors from across universes gather for your pleasure! Will ‘The Galaxy Warrior’ Zekkai Dakkumeru, who dominated last years games as the black sheep continue his reign and retain his title? Or will someone new end “The Manic Poet’s” streak? Find out at this year’s 10,000th Annual Omniversal Games! The overly excited add went on to show pictures of each of the respective champions and then finally his own, with a large question mark over his face. It didn’t really bother him, the fact that the people doubted if he could retain the title. The thing that did bother him though, was the fact that they left out his favorite alias; The Caesar of The Omniverse. (or The Omniversal Caesar sometimes) Sure it was a bit egotistical, but it combined two of favorite things: Theatre and Power. Somewhat of a funny combination, but that was Zekkai for you. The tiny purple ferret at his feet let out an interested yawn, snapping Zekkai back into reality. “Ah, sorry Kia. We were out to get you some grub weren’t we….” Red irises flickered apologetically, and an already sour looking face grimaced at a new thought; Zekkai had to win this year’s Games to save her, to undo the mistake he did. “Alright let’s get goin’ then.” With a new inner resolve he took one last glance at the poster, his trademark wicked grin played across his face this time as he made his way out of the grand structure. A few moments later the sunlight from outside was strong. All around people congregated, discussing their plans for the day and what not. A few stares came his way, some were looks of admiration, some of amusement, and some were frightened. Tch, I know I’m not the most friendly lookin’ guy but come on. Did I deserve that one? Looking down Zekkai saw a rather...distant looking Tyki, one of the ‘permanent’ champions in these parts. She was one of the champions he actually cared for, she was a sweet girl, just real quiet. He made his way down to mingle. “What up Tyki? Overlord’s lettin’ you all rest today?” He plopped down beside her on the cold steps, a rare warmth in his voice. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Currently playing: Florensia. Level: EXP: | Tyki had nearly fallen asleep when she heard someone talk to her. She snapped out of it and looked round as Zekkai sat down. "Oh... Hello. No, I'm actually supposed to be catching Fiends, but I already caught some so I'm taking a small break. Don't tell though." She looked into the forest. There was a pretty good view of it from where she was sitting. "Tyki, who is this guy?" Miu asked curiously. "This is Zekkai, last year's Champion," she replied. Her staff wiggled a bit as Miu inspected the guy sitting next to her master. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | Meanwhile, down in the streets of 'Haven'... Zanguyn walked down the street he was on with a skip and a jump and a wicked, sly grin on his face as a great mass of fans followed him, begging for his autograph and to appear in photos with him. He was even being escorted along by a small team of guards, trying to keep as many of the adoring fans off of him. They weren't doing a particularly good job at it. "Please Zan, can I have your autograph?" shouted one of the girls. "Sign my shoe!" said another one. "Sign my head!" said another. "Sign my bo-" said another one before she was briskly shoved away by one of the guards. "Sir," said one of the guards to him "they're getting a bit rough! Perhaps, er, you could go somewhere more 'private', perhaps? Or somewhere where they're not trying to suffocate you under a pile of autographs?" "Nonsense, uh... what was ya name again?" said Zan, nudging the stylish sunglasses on his face a bit with his finger. "Jo'nak, sir!" replied the guard. "Riiiiiggghttt, Johnny. Aint it your job to, ya know, DEAL WITH THEM, if, ya know, they get to rough? Besides, I'd hate to cause trouble, for, like, my adoring fans..." he said, lifting his sunglasses a bit and winking at the crowd. Almost instantly, the ones causing the most trouble just fainted (though the others got thrown into a frenzy) and, he smiled again, pleased that he was so loved by the common folk that simply winking would drive them crazy. Who else could claim to do that...? Well, besides Sholryk, but he was way to aggro. Zanguyn, he was simply, in his own words, 'AWESOME'. Anyway, he carried on, eventually reaching the entrance to the Colloseum where he saw 'The Idealist', Tyki, and 'The Manic Poet' Zekkai. *Meh, those douche-bags...* he thought *always trying to steal the spotlight... then again...* He marched up towards them, followed by his fans... Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | Silence...........Was all that exists in Raven's world plucking endlessly on the strings of his guitar even though no sound would come. Darkness........was all he would see not even sure if he was on solid ground or falling. Raven sighed within his mind as he.....Merely existed. Suddenly a bright light shown in front of him and fresh air flowed in but the moment was short lived as a single black rose was thrown in as the light disappeared he reached out for the rose. As his fingers carresed the petals it began to glow faintly revealing white glowing letters among the petals he was amazed as he read......it was an invitation to compete in a tournament of sorts he guessed. Did the writer not realize where he was.....Probably not. Just as he finished that thought the portal opened again and this time a hand reached in holding it out clearly begging him to grab it as he was pondering what to do next a familiar voice rang out. "Do you wish to stay here or do you wish to be free" the voice said "Death?!" Raven inquired He quickly reached out and grasped it and was immediately pulled to Death's personal study with a thud his head crashing against the hard floor. suddenly he was lifted effortlessly from he ground floating in mid-air. "Can you not stand?" Death asked. without a word he placed a foot on the groundas he put the ful pressure of his weight he faltered and shook clumsily trying to get used to the feeling again. "Have you had enough" Raven nodded quietly as he bean to become adjusted to having feelings and sounds. Raven looked down at the rose which he was still holding as it began to change to dust. "About that that is why you are free you will compete as my apprentice" death shifted his weight and eyed the frail looking body before him. death then raised his hand and Said "tuas la cubya tarh" which is reaper toungue for come now dark powers as he finished a devilish looking hand maaterialized above his hand and came straight after Raven. Raven raised his right arm to block himself from it it knocked him to the ground as he looked at his hand he noticed that his whole arm had transformed his whole arm was black with what looked like cuts of red but they were not cuts they were to symetrical his fingers glowed the same red. "I have returned your original powers with a little extra your blood now runs black like a true reaper and as such you will gain the benifits." Death walked closer" But know you must sleep" Raven felt a sharp pain in theback of his head as his world turned black around him. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() Level: 11 EXP: | THIS is the overlord's realm? Its pretty crummy. Well if you actually tried to gather some information you'd know that it really isn't. Its been in control for ten thousand years, holding these games every year. Doesn't make this place better. Its still man made. Too many people. Well, most people like to talk to others once in a while. Strange people they are. Sylfae stepped gently through the entrance of the coliseum. She had passed about a hundred posters and ads that screamed the event - as if everybody didn't already know. Her sister had amused herself by burning a few portraits of the other contestants as they had came closer and closer to the entrance. The great champion of last year had decided to rejoin, a man named Zekkai Dakkumeru. Do you know this Dakkumeru guy? How the hell would I know him? He's not from our realm. Well I'd expect you to actually try and gather some information. Heh, fair enough. I don't know much about his history apart from what's known to everyone, but apparently he's pretty darn strong. Sylfaè was silent for a few minutes as Sylfae looked around the coliseum. A few familiar faces flashed by, those she had seen in the portraits, but they weren't interesting to her. I won't lose, you know. Mmm? I said I won't lose. I know your thinking that I'm going to lose. I won't. With a slight smile, Sylfae stepped through a a small archway and came to the audience seats. Alright then, I'll hold you to that. Good luck. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | Ren followed the tracks to another part of the forest and noticed another one of the creatures. Seventh one today, he thought sneaking up behind it and jumping on its back using some rope he had gathered to tie it down. He cut its head off and followed another pair of tracks to a clearing. The clearing was wide and the grass was stained with blood. In the center swirled a portal that led somewhere. He ran back home and began to pack some clothes. As he did Liana walked in. "What are you doing?" She asked curiously. "Packing," He said not looking away from what he was doing. "I found a portal to somewhere and I'm hoping it leads to the Overlords world where the competition is taking place!" She stood beside him as he looked at the portal. It didn't seem dangerous, but Ren couldn't tell a dangerous portal from a safe one. His brow furrowed as he clenched his fists. "Well, I'm going," He said giving his sister a hug. "Good luck, big bro!" She said. "I know you'll knock em dead!" He smiled and walked through the portal. When he came out the other end he was in a forest. It was really dark and vines hung from everywhere. He looked in the distance and saw a massive coliseum. "This must be it!" he exclaimed running towards the giant building. |

| Dual Wielder | Chad sat down at the bottom of a tree trunk bored. "Well, I might as well give up on my plan" thought Chad running out the forest and picking some artifacts. "People don't even bother taking these" thought Chad looking at an old helmet that was once used in the coleseum battles. The market place was no longer busy, infact everyone seemed to have gone to the coleseum. "Great, another boring day" thougth Chad running to the coleseum and saw Zanguyn followed by fans. "Hah, I wonder what the show off wants" laughed Chad walking in to take a closer look. |

| Mr. Solo Dolo | "Oh... Hello. No, I'm actually supposed to be catching Fiends, but I already caught some so I'm taking a small break. Don't tell though." Zekkai snickered, growing more relaxed he stretched his legs out to the set of steps beneath him, and leaned his upper body on the row behind him, looking up at the calm skies. They were almost too calm, there was barely a bird in the sky, and the clouds looked like they were at a complete stand still. “So you’re just a slacker after all, huh.” He began to laugh again, but it quickly turned into a deep sigh, not of boredom though, he was really just taking it all in. There was seldom a quiet moment around Haven, especially around this time of year. He heard Tyki whisper something to her…staff? He shrugged it off and continued to bask in the tranquil atmosphere, in fact, he was only seconds away from drifting into a refreshing sleep, and then the groupies arrived. Zan can I have your autograph! Zan can you sign my shoe! Zan can you sign my head! “Here comes Zan…” The champion groaned achingly. It wasn’t that Zekkai didn’t like him, it was more his flashy attitude he couldn’t stand. His ‘enthusiasm’ was enjoyable for about thirty minutes, hell he’d even join in, but after that thirty minutes he would quickly go to wanting to strangle him. “Are those…guards?” Zan stopped his advance towards the coliseum, apparently to address the mob. Suddenly, they all fainted one after the other like a ring of dominos. The source of it all was just a simple wink from the ‘Artisan’, a wink mad this legion of fangirls (and some fanboys) crash to the cement. Kia yawned at the events; the ferret had an almost annoyed look in her eyes. Zekkai though, found it all kind of funny. “Nice…” Zekkai looked over to Tyki, who was in a word, not amused. Right…she’s probably seen something like this thousands of times. Zan, with entourage following, was making his way over to the staircase duo. “Yo,” He began, still stretched out along the stairway, only tilting his head to looking the man’s way, “They almost seem worse than the Fiends heh.” A wicked grin played across Zak’s face. “Speaking of Fiends, Tyki here tells me the big one’s got you all hunting some down for the Games—“ A drawn out yawn cut into his proposal, “ ‘Scuse me, heh, anyways. I was gonna go down and bag a few myself, you feel like comin’?” He tilted his head and adjusted his cap looking again at Tyki. “You can come too of course. Come on, its getting crowded around here anyway.” He glared at the mass of groupies and rabid fans coming there way, some even began to notice his own presence at this point. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | "They seem to be worse then the Fiends, heh..." "Heh, like, ya don't miss a trick, do ya?" replied Zan, with his same crazy grin as always. "And, uh, sure, I'll come and help ya bring down some Fiends..." he leaned towards the 'Manic Poet' and whispered in his ear. "That, and the chicks dig it." he said, before lifting his shades and winking at Tyki. "Hey shooga, it'd be fun, heh?" at this comment, several of the rabid fangirls stopped what they were doing and glared at the 'Idealist' with a look of pure hatred, before they started mumbling and whispering really quietly. Zan then turned to the crowd. "Hey, uh, girls, I got, like, totally badass stuff to do, so, uh, I'm gonna be going now. But don't worry! In a few weeks time ya'll be able to watch my moves," he said, before leaning towards them slightly and very obviously whispering "and kicking the Poet's butt, ya know?" he said, before winking again and putting on his shades. He then trudged off towards the forest as his guards pushed away the crowds. As he did so, he took a small dice from his pocket. He needed to be able to decide his weapon, ready for the fiends... |
