A Travelers Tale: Nations At War (Roleplaying Thread)

~Plot~
Welcome to Divinia, a land filled with peace and tranquility- Until recently. A dark lord has started a war with the 6 nations of Divinia. The war so far has spanned to 5 years, with no one succeding in killing the evil lord.

You are a traveler who plans on killing this threat and returning to your homeland to tell the tale for generations to come.

If this is not your fate, then you are a minion to the dark lord, or someone who plans on taking his place.
Either way, you and a band of friends, your party, must band together, either to complete dungeons and get items to help defeat the dark lord, or kill off any threats to him.

This is your tale.

~Rules~
1. No godmodding, powerplaying, or invincibility.

2. If you wish to recieve a "Special Role", first, make your temp, PM or VM the role you wish to have, and I will decide if your character is worthy of such a fate.

3. If you or a fellow party member dies, you can heal them with White magic or retreat from the dungeon and stay at an inn. There is one in each town (I plan on having at least 12 towns).

4. You can have as big of a party that you want.

5. Everything, including dungeons and towns, are decided by you, the people. No whining if your choice isn't picked, this choice is a privelidge.

6. Romance is to be kept at a PG-13 rating, and if the act is questionable, I reccomend not doing. I think you know what fits in this catergory.

7. If you are going to be out of the RP for a while, or decide to quit, please PM or VM me and I'll understand. If a "Special Role" wishes to quit, I will name someone else to take their place.

8. Respect all people in this RP. This is a common rule of life.

9. If you decide to break these rules, you will be warned, and if rules are broken again you will be banished.

10. Try to post at least once or twice a week.

"Eh, wake up boy, it's time for you to get to work!" Canis got up from the bed of straw he was supplied with. He met with the farmer he worked for about 2 years. The farmer sat back in his chair and always kept a close eye on his workers. Sadly, he was the only one who even worked there. "Harvest is coming up soon, so start picking anything that looks like it's ripe. Also, make sure all the animals have clean stalls. Remember, tomorrow is the day we have to go to the market, so check everything that is profitable.

"Oh, and tomorrow is sunday, so we'll have to go to church." Canis hated to go to the church with the farmer, but tomorrow was a special day at the church. Canis quickly gathered all things that were ripe, cleaned the stalls, and returned to the shack that he lived in a mile away from the farmers house.

When the moon was in the sky, Canis went to the woods for the night to hunt. The woods were 5 miles in length and width, usually prosperous with life, especially deer. When he got home, he laid down the 6 deer he had killed and stuck them in a cool, freezer-like area he had dug up in order to keep his food fresh.

Shadow walked around looking at the night sky wondering if there was any human around to give him a stay at night. He looked at his claw and saw it was still charging up. "Crud, this place is filled with crazy things and I'm defence less!" moaned Shadow. The ground under him was getting cold even though it was grass.

He came up to a farm and saw the light on but of course, there was the farmer eyeing him on to move off of his property. Shadow hated it how people gave him that look, it was like they thought of him as an outsider. Someone who should have been sent to hell.

He ran towards an area where there was a fort of rocks good enough to sleep in. "I better stay low for a while" thought Shadow before looking at the strange veiw of smoke out of the woods. Shadow was confused at why there would be smoke there and decided to wait till morning to investigate. "I might be able to find some information on how I could get a job" thought Shadow.

Canis exited the shack after laying around in bed for 3 hours, still not being able to sleep. It was 7 AM and the sun was starting to rise. He went toward the farmers' house, ready to go to the church. Canis didn't like going to church, but today was a bit different. As he was about halfway there, he saw a structure made out of stone with a person, or at least had the shape of a human, in it. The farmer can wait. This guy must need a place to stay, and who knows, I might finally make a friend. Canis thought. He overturned a rock and dragged the man oiut. After setting him on the ground, Canis decided to talk to him. "Excuse me sir, but do you need a place to stay, because I have a shack about a half-mile away?" Canis asked. "By the way, my name is Canis Lupus, what's yours?"

Shadow looked at the wolf boy while also looking suprised. I was the first time some one had acted nice to him. "M-my name is Shadow, I do need a place to stay but temporarly" answered Shadow shyly. He looked at his claw and hid it before Canis could see it and have second thoughts.

As Shadow and CAnis keep talking they heard a yell deep in the forest, some trees look like being cut and falling a mile or 2 deep in the forest, they both lnow that forest, besides deers, was full of powerful creatures somebody could be in troubles...

"You can live with me for as long as you need to Shadow." As Shadow was trying to conceal his hand, Canis snatched it and lifted him up. As soon as he got up, a loud, blood curdling scream filled the sky, followed by the sound of trees toppeling to the ground. "Let's check it out, we can go to my place later. Come on!" Canis took his hand and dashed toward the woods, dragging him across the ground.

Shadow got up and managed to steady him self following Canis through the forest. His arm was fully charged and ready for action. He need to quicken the pace so he grabbed Canis and lifted him onto his shoulder like he was a dead deer and ran faster. So fast that you could swear that the trees were painting getting smudged. "Sorry, but we need to hurry" whispered Shadow as he looked at Canis waving his arms about.

When both reach tothat placetherewere corpses of giant man-eating gorillas allonthe field, and astrongsmeel to fresh blood, a bit surprised as they look for somebody canis feel like a soft wind behind him,and then a cold edge around his neck, somebody has putbehind him slowly and now got a weapon around his neck very close to his vein,then the uybehind him say almost whispering: "if you darto turnback I'llkillyou, if you tell oryell i'llkill you...now tell me who are youand whydid youcometo this part of the forest?..don´t attempt anything fool"

"We heard someone screaming so we came to investigate. My name is Canis and this is my freind, Shadow. Who are you?" Canis asked the man, still having the knife across his neck. "Can you release me sir. I'm not going to run, I just have to do something real quick." He wormed his way out of the mans' grip and created a clone. "Take this letter to the farmer real quick." He told the clone. It took the letter and rushed out of the forest.

Shadow stared at the clone diappearing and noticed the man had kept on giving him and evil look. Shadow felt emediatly mad, people that gave him that look knew some thing about him. It was like he was serial killer. "What are you looking at?" grunted Shadow at man rudley. The man took no notice and went back to talking to Canis who had finally noticed the golden claw he had.

"damn.. another one" says the guy who realises of Shadow just after Canis mangaed to scape of his grip, as a wolf surrounded he instinctively decided to attack them, he dind´nt know if they were really his enemies but he couldn´t sit and ask, or at least that he thought, he takes on of his 2 swords and rush amazingly fast to Canis wjo was closer, it was even harder to see al his movements while he rushed suddenly some metres he disapperar just to reappear some inches in fornt of the face of Canis ready to attack "HIAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Shadow had already felt like enemies with the crazy man and shot him with a dark ball that spun around him while attack. He didn't want Canis to get sliced up. But it didn't do too much since he only managed to stop the attack. This man was fast, almost as fast as him but he never managed to see someone as fats as that. This made Shadow mad. He walked up to him, studying his gestures and wondering why he made him feel ticked off. "Who is this nut job?" thought Shadow.

The man seeing the attack coming realise that he couldnt avoid it completekly so he had to stop the attack to CAnis to protect himself with his sword he reatreat some metres of one jump, bretahing hard surprised of the skill of Shadow "you are good, usually nobody managed to surpise like this" say to him with a cold expression

"What's your problem? If it's a fight you want, you just got it." Canis said. He quickly summoned a clone and had it fold its hands. Canis jumped off of them and grabbed the clone, then throwing him like a projectile. "Ryukin- Shadow Clone Circle." Just then a swarm of 12 Canis' surrounded the man, each holding a dagger to his throat. "I just want to know who you are. Answer, or risk being sliced to ribbons."
