Pasha Simon couldn't believe that he was forced to do away with the wardrobes he usually wore and items he brought whilst on vacation. He swore that she could be so difficult at times, almost enough to call off this stupid trip. "I get my wardrobe from Aceh. If you don't know, it's a city at Indonesia." |

Angelo chuckled lightly as the mechanism in his sleeve started to turn until click a throwing knife swung out into his hand he grabbed and in one fluid motion through it at a seventy five degree angle just clearing the top of roof he looked on as the knife streaked towards its mark. Angelo smiled as he saw sparks as the knife hit a piece of flint igniting the fuse that so close as the fuse burned down the anticipation grew the fuse had reached it end. A loud explosion of light and color streak across the night sky the explosions from the fireworks grew louder and louder until the end where he had just rigged about five hollowed out cannon balls filled with black powder among other things As the fuse reached these it let out a light fizzling crackle until the fire hit the powder and BOOOM!!! The loudest explosion shook the buildings. Angelo watched on as people screamed in fear and excitement amidst the chaos he had morphed his body into a nearly invisible cloud of dust as he swept through the crowd emptying everyone of there goods he then doubled back to the alleyway where he stood and walked across the street into a pub called the "Selene". He walked in laughing and soon said "A round of drinks on me" He looked around to see slightly scared people obviously they had heard the explosion also which made him laugh even more he then turned into a haze and and filled the room only to materialize behind two people passing a note and talking well one was the other silent as well something that is really silent. "Excuse me would this little piece of jewelry happen to belong to you" he said slyly He held up a broach that he had fished out of the one with the scarf’s pocket when he turned to haze. |

His Endowment allowed the nullification of other Endowments when they were being obviously used (or on people whose Endowments could cause trouble) And sure enough, the Bartender made a little gesture, causing the guy to rematerialize. "You've broken the rules and insulted The Fox." The bartender, Noah, chastised. "So, give the trinket back. And NEVER draw attention to my bar again. Do you want the Police on our heads? Or the Mafia?" The bar had fallen quiet. This place, this refuge for the criminals where they just relaxed, couldn't be trashed. "I'll let you stay here, but if you EVER use your powers or insult any of my customers again I'll throw you out. And I'll make sure you STAY out." Considering how Noah was a favorite among the criminal underworld, he probably meant the threat. The Fox began to write as Noah walked over with the Broach. "Thanks. " She held up to Noah. Noah nodded, then went back to cleaning his glass and taking orders. ----- "How about tonight? I'll get the servants to head down to the market and acquire some necessities." "That'll be great." | The Random Rabbit | Siria was glad to be out of that town; It was far to quiet for her taste. When there isn't enough people in a town it makes her job and the rest of the Triads jobs that much more difficult. They thrive in places that are busy and noisy because nobody can recall anyone's face. Hopefully nobody in that town was particularly observant and noticed them but they didn't look like they looked in that town so in the end it was of little consequence. They were now at the part she disliked the most, it was the part where they waited for something else to do. Once the job was done they had to wait for a new job to come up and it had been slow lately. She just hoped against all odds that Claudia would not get to bored because she was a nuisance when bored and the last time she got bored was when she was in a knitting mood. They were still trying to get rid of all of that stuff. And with her new thing being embroidery she knew that both she and Gabriel would be hoping that she stuck to decorating her own clothes. Siria arrived at the safe house provided to them by The Brotherhood, it was average in appearance and was supposed to be safe but she knew better then to trust other people. As she neared the door she did a quick visual check for her triggers that she set up to see if anybody came in while they were gone. Unfortunately they were all gone or messed up like she feared. Gabriel had told them that the house would not be safe but they didn't listen to the trained assassins now did they? She went inside the house after loosening the knives at her wrists in case there was someone still in the house. Upon entering she found that the place had been ransacked, everything was in pieces or missing. Siria was very glad that she didn't have to much stuff and everything that was important was in her pack right now. She knew that Claudia left things behind and hoped that she wouldn't be to upset but guessed that Claudia would soon get over it and start acquiring things again. She went up to the room that served as hers and when she found it she was not pleased. The room was destroyed, all of the clothes she had found that she was going to use as disguises were gone, as well as all of the make-up she left behind as well. Her bed was ruined and her sheets ripped or taken. It looked like someone had been looking for something -or it would to the untrained eye- but Siria could tell that this was just some petty thieves that found an empty house and stole things, the probably tried to make it look like they were there for a purpose but it was to planned out. She thought that all of this was bad enough until she noticed something quite upsetting; While they had taken most everything they left all of the knitting untouched. Not even the thieves wanted Claudia's knitting. Siria went downstairs in a huff, half muttering to herself half cursing everything in her path. "Die Narren in der Bruderschaft sie hören nie! Sie glauben, sie sind so intelligent, aber sie sind Narren!"(Those fools in the Brotherhood they never listen! They think they are so smart but they are fools!) she stormed into the living room where Gabriel and Claudia were after they had looked through their own stuff, Siria as still in a foul mood and she could tell they were also. They decided to go to one of the houses that they had set aside in case something like this happened. They would bill the Brotherhood for anything lost since it was under their protection just like they always did when somethign broke. They headed out of the building and reached their back up house which Siria was pleased to see was not broken into. She walked inside with her blades drawn and resumed her muttering. "Manchmal wünschte ich, ich könnte sie alle töten und dann mit ihnen gemacht werden kann! Aber zum Glück für sie müssen wir ihr Geld und ihre Arbeit sie sonst tot wäre jetzt die Narren!" (Sometimes I wish I could just kill them all and then be done with them! But lucky for them we need their money and their work otherwise they would be dead by now the fools!) Siria knew that the day was at least over and so she settled in for the night and hoped that someone was bold enough to try and break in wile she was there because she had some steam she needed to burn off. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rin was busy looking at a statue that had an eerie resemblance to the bizarre looking bonsai tree her mom kept in the house when Devin called her. She had to admit she was hungry but she was more interested in the case and thought that Devin ought to be as well. But what could she do? He was her boss and a lazy one at that but he payed her well when reminded to do so and she lived comfortably enough if she reminded him to pay the electrical bill. Upon further thought she again wondered why she subjected herself to this life besides her dream of being in the police. She followed along resigned to her fate once more and pulled out her notebook. She knew that Devin liked to memorize everything claiming to have a photographic memory but she knew better and found that if she didn't take notes properly that they would never get anywhere with a case. She often wondered how it was that he had survived without her for so long. They headed home to the apartment like building where they worked and lived. The office was on the first place and the second floor was living quarters, there was two sets of rooms hers and his, and then there was a large kitchen and living room. She mostly used the kitchen as he rarely ever cooked and instead sat in the living room perusing through police files that she was never sure if he was even supposed to have in the first place. They got upstairs after Rin dropped off her notes in her desk, she liked to keep her things tidy and organized. She went upstairs and saw that there was some mail on the counter that she hadn't seen earlier that day. She looked at it and then turned and glared at Devin who gave her a look that meant he knew what she was about to say. He was standing at the table making a sandwich while the water was about to be turned off for the whole building. "あなたが無責任なばか!どのようにのように私たちはお金がないとされていない、この支払いを長く待つ可能性が!私が私の周りではなかった何が起こるのだろうかを誓う!ああ餓死と待って!" (You irresponsible fool! How could you wait so long to pay this it is not like we do not have the money! I swear I wonder what would happen to you if I was not around! Oh wait you would starve!) She shouted at him in anger, she always did everything around here as he sat around eating and playing little games. She wondered how it was that he was one of the best detectives in Paris but figured that there must have been a clerical error somewhere along the way. she went to bed after shouting a bit more and decided that she would deal with the problem of the water in the morning. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Devin walked home to the office and waited while Rin put her notes away in her overly tidy desk. He wondered how she could always have what she needed because it certainly didn't look like there was much in there. She always kept notes on everything and he hated doing that, he just remembered the important stuff and Rin remembered the not so important stuff. It was a good system that had served him well since she had come. He went straight to the kitchen and started to make himself a sandwich when he noticed what Rin had found over on the side table. He had meant to pay that truly he did but he forgot plain and simple. He was always busy with work that he often forgot such things which is where Rin came in. she was a Godsend in his opinion, she always remembered when things had to be done and she rarely got lost unlike him who got lost going to the store. "Oh mon Dieu elle est à recommencer. Je ne sais même pas ce qu'elle dit et pourtant elle fait cela pour moi. Oh comme je souhaite qu'elle vient parler simple bon quand elle est comme ça." (Oh dear God she is at it again. I don't even know what she is saying yet still she does this to me. Oh how I wish she would just speak plain common when she is like this.) He muttered to himself as she started shouting at him in Japanese. He knew basically what she was saying though not because he actually understood her. She had yelled at him before over things like this and luckily it was in Common so he could understand her. He knew he had forgotten but that was why he needed and assistant in the first place. He watched as she stormed off to her rooms after thrwing the bill down on the table and he was glad that it was over. He would try to pay the bill in the morning but he did have many things to get to after all so he might forget he knew. He finished his sandwich in piece and went to his rooms to get some sleep knowing that he would have a busy day tomorrow after that murder. On the other hand, if she DID seduce him... she could lure him in later. She'd let him make the first move. And after all this trouble, hypnotism was a last resort. She wanted to take him out personally. Why did that 18 year old want him out of the way so much? |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() Level: 22 EXP: | Excuses...justifications...rationalizations...they made up a majority of Dominique's thoughts. She hated it so much, and sometimes, all she wanted was to rid herself of her dreaded Vices once and for all. But without them, she felt bound to her Virtues, which could be so difficult to follow every single day. The dark truth was that no matter how much she hated them, deep down, she felt like she needed those flaws to feel more human. She wanted to let go of the rules and have fun, no matter how terrible she felt afterwards. And this strange drive to commit evil actions frightened her! It truly frightened her. I'm doomed, she thought sadly as she stared out of her window, watching the sun rise over the Italian city. The peaceful atmosphere did not permeate her troubled soul. I cannot fight my Vices. I need my Vices! How will I ever be worthy of Heaven when I can't even let go of the foul creatures! "Zut, zut, et zut!" she sighed, slipping into her native French instead of the required language of Basic. (Darn, darn, darn!) "Something wrong?" asked a voice that sounded exactly like her own, albeit with a more gentle tone. Dominique was relieved to see that it was her Kindness coming in for a visit. "Kindness," she said quietly, "Pourquoi est-ce que tu viens ici?" (Why do you come here?) "Now, now Dom, we can't speak in French when we're in the Mafia's headquarters!" said Kindness as she playfully wagged her finger at Dominique. "Je détèste le Mafia!" shouted Dominique in rebellion, turning back and slamming her fist down on the stone ledge of the window. (I hate the Mafia!) She regreted it quickly; now her hand was very sore. Fortunately, her Kindness was there to give her a comforting hug. "I know you're upset, and I don't like being here either. But you're doing the best that you can! You're a young Endowed with no family or home, and if this is the only way to protect yourself, then we'll all just have to grin and bear it before you find something more suitable!" Dominique sighed. "Why can't all my Virtues and Vices be as nice as you?" she asked in gratitude. Kindness chuckled. "Because then they would ALL be Kindness, not who they really are! I mean, how could you turn that into a vice?" "From Pride's perspective, it's vice," joked Dom. "Ignore Pride; you know she only wants to use your for her own gains," insisted Kindness. "I know," said Dominique as she went back to watching the sunrise, "But how am I supposed to ignore or get rid of a part of myself?" |

Though before she answered the question the Fox had written she took out some money and ordered a drink of rum. "A random thief cant break into government buildings, a random thief can’t pull off a heist from a huge security museum and if you are just a random thief you wouldn’t be asking that sort of question," Shale said smiling most likely starting to cause the fox to wonder if she was really the age she looked knowing that info. "I need someone who can pull off a few tasks mostly spying, stealing, guarding and if the situation calls for it maybe assassination," Shale said taking a drink of the rum enjoying the sour but sweet flavor. "If you are just a random thief and believe you cant do this job its okay but I believe your going to take it for three reasons one I have not told a price, two I haven’t told you who I am and three well because you can choose the price once mission complete or right now if moneys a issue," Shale said now looking at the figure of the fox Shale couldn’t be quiet sure but it looked like this person was wearing more cloths under its figure which could mean two things one it was a she or he was wearing a vest to keep harm. "I also need someone of your skill because I have a meeting with someone in a few days and I think someone might try to kill him in my name," Shale said looking at the fox with a serious expression. ......................................................... | A FAWKING KEY-TRIKE? STOOPID IDEA!! | Much to the Pasha Simon's surprise, news of the failed assassination attempt on his life had not been made news to Mehmed and the government officials who made up the Sultan's court. Realizing this, he said nothing about the matter, keeping it to himself and went on about his business as he pleaded for imperial permission to leave Ottoman lands for several months to Switzerland. His Majesty Mehmed was skeptical at first but reluctantly granted the Greco-Frenchman permission due to it being his vacation. Satisified with the response, he quickly left the Palace and walked back to the estate. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() Level: 15 EXP: | Nodding at the man after his statement Shale lips let out a small curl of enthusiasm. "Sorry I don’t hear of many thief’s that don’t kill my apologies," Shale said then reading the note she let out a small tipsy sigh what the Fox was straight out asking for was now a reason and what was involved. Smiling a little of the cleaver trap with him or her having to leave Shale decided she could get straight to the point. Then in a very sexual stance Shale leaned over to the Fox's ear and said. "I want you to spy on some very high ranked Brotherhood members and steal a few documents here and there... but I will warn you right now at some point the Mafia might get involved but at that point you can drop the job and take what ever reward you want if not you will dig yourself deeper with me into a world not seen by many" Shale tilted her head towards the window seeing not to far away from the road way headlights. There way only one group that used cars in an area like this. "Damn less time then I thought" Shale said moving away from the fox as she stood up and handed the bartender a generous tip. "If you want to know the why meet me in Bern, Switzerland... in a hotel Called the Dusk Light two days from now" Shale said heading for the door as she looked at the fox one last time saying. "Words to the wise leave ten minutes after I do trust me" Shale said walking out the door. After five minutes she was a good half way from her hotel though the dimming of lights a few feet away told her she was going to have company. After two more minutes Shale started to whistle a tune as three sets of foot steps could be heard behind her starting to get louder and louder. "Are you idiots really going to try and fight me when you’re oh so away from home," Shale said turning around and firing a shot at the man in front. "Plop" Shale had hit the man straight in the heart and now pressured the two men were going to pull out there guns before Shale could set another shot. Though as the first assassins had learned Shale’s gun wasn't an old model. "Bam bam" the one on the left had been shot through the head though for the third man he had only been shot in the arm. "The funny thing about this gun is it doesnt need to be recocked after every shot" Shale said smiling as she shot a second bullet threw his head. "Mafias starting to make its move not really good... clean this up I am going to get some sleep" Shale said as guards started to come out to clear the mess. |

Dominque snorted. "I wish I was able to do everything by myself!" "But you've admited that it's basically what you're doing, since we're part of your soul and all. What else would you really call it? Anyway, I was thinking, maybe you'd feel better if you had some outside help?" She smiled and gestured over to the crucifix that was on the other side of the room, nailed to the wall. Dominique shook her head and sighed. "I have already tried praying, but you're all still here. I don't think it's working because I haven't done much to actually get rid of my Vices myself. I am such a failure!" "Come now, stop complaining! Maybe you're doing something wrong, or maybe you're not looking in the right places. Think about it Dom: the Vatican, the center of the Christian world, is practically next door! We're in Rome, why not take advantage of it? Go and ask one of the holy men there for advice!" "No! Are you mad? I'm an Endowed with seven deadly sins running amok- they're more likely to kick me out!" "Kicked out?" Another voice spoke up as Charity poked her head through the door, "Are we finally leaving the Mafia?" "No, I'm suggesting that we go to the Vatican to get some answers," replied Kindness. "Oh! I have always wanted to go to the Vatican!" cried Charity, clapping her hands in delight. "No!" Dominique insisted. But now several more of her Virtues had heard the commotion and were coming in to hear what all the fuss was about. They all agreed that Kindness' idea was a great one and wanted to go at once. Temperance was able to reign in their enthusiasm a little, while Diligence, the most practical and hardworking of the group, started making all sorts of preparations for the trip.
