Default Frame Work

It was some battlefield beyond a lush forest, or what was left of a lush forest. It was a really nice day outside, the sun was shining really bright and there were flowers blooming in large patches all over the place. Such beauty in fact was so grand that only animals and those in tune with nature might really appreciate it. One could smile at a time like this, but maybe that was because you had just chopped off somebody's head, or more because blood splattered across your face as you impaled a wry opponent whom was just trying to impale you.

Screams ripped through the once peaceful area as a battle of massively disturbing proportions waged onward, it was as if the place had been made for this, yet the surrealist notions of what was happening almost negated that thought from ones mind.

So the place was beautiful, but can one ask the question does carnage and terror take away from beauty?? The sun was shining brightly, but what about the suns light beaming down on bloody corpses and still bleeding out women and men whom were freshly slaughtered. Were the flowers weeping because some of them, had been, blasted to hell, or run over by a mass of feet or talons from some creature fleeing for their own safely??

“This isn’t how things should be. I hate this place, and I hate people’s ambitions.”

A small girl staggered around the small patch of dirt that had been made when her mother was burned alive trying to pick flowers before the fight started, she was helpless, but nobody seemed to care about her, and oddly she cried out and was ignored, yet not killed, "Is this what i am to live for, should I have a corrupt destiny and forever be amidst this fighting??"

An explosion went off behind her and she cowered in fear, seeing the crater that a dodged blast had made. Her arms danged at her sides, only a quell of energy surrounded her, but it wasn’t enough to save her life from something more destructive. She was just being instinctive at that point.

"Why??" She didn't want to be a memory in this place, but what else could she do?? Her powers weren't strong enough to be anything yet, she had no title rites. "I won't die here." Sadly, the girl spoke much too soon on her behalf….

She dropped dead, a hole through her chest; blood dripped from it as she lay sprawled on the ground. "Oh shit, I missed." Reforge looked over the dead body of the girl. "Never mind I hit the mark." The stream of compacted force had burst through the girl and blew the group of inner running behind the girl to bits.....the shield that the girl had spawned was torn through with no resistance, but the Feline/Canine creature held a look of remorse on his face for a few seconds. “She was only a little girl, but then again some little girls these days would try to kill me anyway.”

"Meh all in a day's work I guess." The being padded off.

Kalik sighed as he walked back into the old, beaten little den on the side of an unsuspecting alleyway. The Lost Traveler Inn. It was quite a popular place, surprisingly, despite being extremely unadorned. It was a hotspot for mercs and bounty hunters, as well as providing shelter for the same, for a price, of course. Many of the government wanted to destroy the inn, along with the street it was on. They called it the slums.

Kalik called it home.

He shuffled in, hands in his pocket, sunglasses perched on his nose, shading his eyes from passerby. He sweeped the inn with his eyes and then continued on. The same old crowd. Same old people. No one new, but that didn't mean it still wasn't dangerous.

Kalik walked up and sat down at the bar, ordering a strong drink. Anything alcoholic would do, he was tired after the last assignment. The mark had led him in a merry chase across half the continent before Kalik was finally able to track him down. Maybe this was a sign Kalik was not supposed to be in the assassination business. Unlike most of his colleagues, Kalik had no stealth or tracking related abilities. His forte was defense and massive destruction. Not really bounty hunter rites.

"Long day?" The guy behind the bar asked. Kalik didn't know his name, but that wasn't out of unfriendliness. In this place, very few people knew each other's name. It was just that way. But everyone had good relations with the barkeep. He was the middleman, he gave the assignments and transferred money. Probably the only guy you could trust.

"You've got no idea." Kalik answered, stretching his shoulders. "Last guy didn't want to be caught. If he continued any longer, I would have died from sheer exhaustion rather from any fight he could have put up." He looked up from his drink. "So, anyone call in while I was gone?"

"Just one. Some club named Dystopia. They heard of your antics in Foundation and decided they wanted you along with them. Its another anarchy-war loving organization."

Kalik snorted in contempt. "Why do those guys like me that much?" He asked, swirling his drink. They never accomplished anything. All they did was kill everybody. Either that or Kalik missed the point of their grand mission. But they paid well. Kalik finished his drink and set it down before standing up.
"Well, I'm off to bed. Wake me if Dystopia decides to try and enlist me the hard way."

The barkeep laughed and waved. "Good night then. I've got a long list of potential marks for you to look over in the morning."

Kalik shook his head as he dragged his feet up the stairs. Life drags on.

Reforge looked up at a few of the trees in the distance. He used to have a place nearby, but now he had abandoned it for use of other more vagrant places that people wouldn't end up coming to. "I hate this kind of thing." He reared up on two legs and it looked like he pulled an odd shaped sword from near his mane, twirling it around and then thrusting it into the chest of a tall woman who was trying to cast a spell. She had a vast amount of magick lacing her body, so it was assumed she was a powerful Ancient Magus.

She cried out and then her body started twitching, as Reforge ripped the blade out of her and she dropped to her knees. "Well I'm sorry about that hun, but it was either me, or you." Her eyes burned with rage and her green colored locks of hair rose and fell along the sides of her face as she spit out blood and grinned as if it was all okay.

"I'm sorry too Reforge, but I won;t be beaten that easily. I know all about you and I came prepared." Her knees bent and she stood back up, the wound in her chest healing and closing up completely. "That's much better, you should know that us Magus can cast any spell we know in quick succession so why try to win??" She chuckled and a collection of purple matter slammed into Reforge from both sides, the woman now laughing harder than before.

The glowing eyes of the creature dimmed and then returned to their normal luminosity as he pushed his arms out and the spells forces were rejected. "Oh please, is that really all?? The spell was torn asunder and shattered away into the winds. "I want your soul....."

"She spun around, wait what?? Where are you, stop hiding from me!!!!" She was blown backwards and stumbled yards away from a roar that made her ears bleed.

"I'm not hiding, you just aren't paying attention......"

Nataku walked into the inn that was hidden in an alley, it was unadorned by any noticable sign of being an inn, but most everyone in the business knew of it. Nataku walked through the door, as i guy with long brown hair in the front and sunglasses, walked past and up towards the bedrooms. Nataku walked to the bar as Hideki said, "that guy looked powerful, maybe we should challenge him. We haven't gotten a single decent bounty in weeks. They have all been to easy." He always complained after an easy bounty was over and he saw another strong bounty hunter.

"You know the deal Hideki, we do not fight those who are innocent unless challenged first, or they are really strong." Nataku said in a mild voice, in his head he always seemed to have a bland and plain voice, but in the real world, his voice sounded harmoniuos, and seemed to tell of kindness. Hideki's voice, on the other hadn, was harsh and sounded like it emanated from someone truly evil. Which, Nataku thought, it did.

"Yeah, yeah, but he looked like he was very strong. Come on, let's just fight him."

"Hideki..... No. did you not see him? He look exhausted, and he may be powerful, but no one is strong when they're tired. Maybe another time. I wanna check with Bob."

"Ok, Taku, but why do you call him Bob? He doesn't tell anyone his name."

"Oh, He just looks like one to me."

Nataku approached the bar and sat down. 'Bob' set down a stack of flyers in front of him.

"Here ya go, buddy. I knew you'd be in today, so i picked up some of the harder ones for you. Wanna rest or grab some supplies?" Bob said the instant i sat down.

Nataku smiled and said, "I'll have a glass of lemonade bob, and can i get a key to a room, i'm beat, and i'll pay you a little extra to grab me some bread, and jerky while i rest."

Bob went of and made some lemonade then put it in front of Nataku, who had been reading over the flyers.

"These guys don't seem very hard, except this one, but it's kind of mysterious." He laid down the flyer, in big letters it spelled, 'REFORGE, $100,000,000'. "What's he wanted for? and Who wants him. It doesn't really say much of anything."

"I don't know, I just got it three days ago. No one knows who he is, but rumor says that anyone he meets is killed, so, it's pretty hard that they got a painting of him. He's said to be impossible to beat."

Nataku's ears perked up, and his tail began to wag, mostly because Hideki was raving about how happy he was. He really wanted to go after this one. "Thanks bob, i'll inquire about it later. I got to rest for now." He got out of his seat and headed up towards the beds, much like the man from earlier.

The chain link hit the floor with a resounding ping.

The bounty hunter coughed, and like the very essence of his life his blood spattered onto the floor, wasted and ebbed. The links continued to sound, and other than the man's death racket, it was the only noise in room. The ten inch blade stayed embedded in his chest, or rather in the wall behind him; the hunter was pinned to wall.

"You son of a bitch," Deyros said, opening his mouth. A guttural snarl emanated from his throat and the blade pulsed; slowly and steadily the man's soul was being twisted into nothingness. The bounty hunter gave one last shudder before retiring to the ever so sweet form of a dead corpse. Deyros grunted and reached into the man's pocket. It would be in there somewhere...

"Pfft." He pulled out the paper and looked at it. There really was no photo, but there was quite a detailed description, one an obsessed lover would write. And a decent pay, too. No wonder. Deyros crumpled up the paper and tossed it onto the floor as he tore the corpse from the blade, leaving the heart behind. A little present for those bounty hunter idiots.

He went outside and left the body outside of the inn's door. Deyros had led the hunter right back to where he'd started (with him unaware of it of course), feigning terror and utmost desperation. A hole he punched through the door, crying "Hey, dumbasses!" in the piercing shriek of the ancient dragons of Pheros Ark. And forthwith, so forth, onward, whatever you wanna call it, he walked into the corner most devoid of life and waited.

There was one thing that Ceon loved to get and that was attention. Everyone was cro9wding around him as if he was a prophet bring the message of god. Their eyes were all on him, waiting for him to tell them more of his victory over the mighty Reforge. It was all a lie to get him some food and place to stay. He and Syra lacked the funds from his honorable donations to young and starving children, so now he had to do something so dishonorable as lying about fighting a man that he had met before, but never fought.

"Yes it was this fist that struck Reforge down in one final blow. I couldn't kill him, but was able to defy rumors and defeat him in battle." Ceon said calmly with slight excitement in his voice. These people were eating out the palm of his hands. Stepping into the bar, they crowded around a table, and requested drinks and food. Quickly grabbing Ceon, Syra pulled him a little bit away from the group. "This isn't very honorable, but your doing it for me since your so chivalrous. Let's just eat and get some rest. I wanna leave before they start asking for requests and stuff. Remember what happened in the last town?" Syra said casually. Ceon nodded and went back to eating along with Syra.

It has been many months since he first set foot upon this wretched planet. There was nothing that he took interest and everything bored him. The only interesting thing were beings with Title Rites, and it has been some time before his last act of destruction upon such people. One many consider him to be on a hunt for the strongest being, but that idea is just so small. Bellsick is only bored and is trying to amuse himself by fighting others, but it has been years since his last encounter with an interesting fellow...

Bellsick flew across the sky and peered down, looking at the landscape beneath him. A small town caught his attention and he descended down, hoping to find anyone deemed worthy. As he landed on a road, which is located in some kind of a slum. Pathetic and Worthless were the only words that crossed Bellsick's mind. He hovered down the road, ripping apart anyone who looked at him awkwardly, unfortunately, there were only a few people who did. The other humans just ran away screaming. "Psh, these people are just so small..."

He came facing an alleyway and saw The Lost Traveler Inn. He studied it for awhile and saw two people walking in, with some gap of time inbetween each person. He instantly knew, they were ones who held Title Rites and decided to go and destroy them. As he approached the inn, he extended his hand towards the entrance, and fired a small energy blast that was enough to create a medium sized hole. Looking inside, Bellsick saw scared pathetic humans who were just too frightened to run away. "HAHA DIE YOU FOOLS!" and with that he fired more little blasts at them, massacring them.

At the end of the slaughter, he didn't see two beings with the Title Rites, but heck, this is enough to wake them up from their slumber...

Suddenly interuppting their long awaited dinner, a man had walked in after destroying the front door. Syra stood up looking the rather ugly man. "Couldn't have just used the front door? You know. Instead of destroying it." Syra commented but it seemed as though the man was not paying attention. Just then the man yelled out "HAHA DIE YOU FOOLS!" Ceon jumped up upon hearing such words and Syra got on the defensive. The man decided to attack the people in the bar with little blasts. Thinking on her toes, Syra manipulated the earth around her through a spell. "EARTH!" She screamed out, extending her hands in a rather unique hand sign. Very dense pillars of earth sprung up infront of all that were attacked by the little blasts. The pillars exploded but the people were safe luckily.

It was afterwards that Ceon came flying forward in a jump kick, striking the man's cheek and knocking him back. Landing on both feet, Ceon morphed his hand into a rather large hammer. Ceon spun around rather quickly and brought the hammer down with enough force to create a crater. "I won't let you hurt anyone else." Ceon said loudly and calmly.

Nataku sat on the bed in his room on the second floor of the inn. He was in room 13 and was lying down on a single size bed, his legs fell off the edge, but he was fairly comfortable after spending weeks out in the land searching for criminals and bounties. He had a glass of milk on the night stand next to him, and a dog laying on a blanket next to the wall.

"Taku, why did you keep that flea bag from the forest?" Hideki's voice rang with annoyance as the dog instantly looked up at me.

"Well, Hideki, he seems to be able to hear you, cause he reacts to you whenever he does. Plus, i need another traveling companion. You're getting stale and boring to talk to."

The dog, which Nataku had come to call Bane, sat up, his ears sticking up. He had golden fur, and was a fairly large dog with a long snout. He had brought the dog up to the room before he had gone to see Bob. Bane now started to growl at the door, the fur on his neck standing up.

"Looks like someone wants to visit us, or have a little fun." Said Hideki

Nataku frowned and got up, walking over to the door. He pulled out his sword, hid it behind the door, getting ready to make an explosion if worst came to worst.

Man, Bob was gonna be pissed if that happened.

Then he opened the door......

The kick wasn't that powerful at all, but enough to send him a few tens of meters back. Things were getting extremely interesting, it has been awhile since someone went straight for Bellsick's face. "You're earth manipulation is above mediocre i should say, but you're no match for me pathetic human. Oh, and what was that crater supposed to do?" Bellsick just laughed as the ground below cracked and sunk. Such ground-based area attacks aren't going to reach him at all from his hovering Void Saucer.

With a lift of his hand, the broken fragments from the earth pillars Ceon created began to lift themselves from the ground. Bellsick flicked his fingers and the fragments all aimed themselves at their creator and in that moment, they were shot at Ceon. During this time, Ceon will be dealing with the rocks and by this, Bellsick hastily flew above and unleashed his vacuum which enveloped the area.

"Welcome to my Space Vacuum. Isn't it a beauty? Look at the stars and the far galaxies. The reality you saw a second ago, is nothing more." As Bellsick spoke, the town, the inn, and the civilians alll appeared to be twisted and crippled to the eyes, and then faded. Stars and planets began to spawn around them, even the very atmosphere felt like Space. The gravity around them also altered to zero.. But luckily, this Space doesn't hold all of the aspects of Space, or he'll be suffocating, freezing or burning.

"This vacuum is much more than just Space, but in a mean while, you'll die." Bellsick pointed at Ceon and unleashed a small barrage of energy bullets... "This shouldn't be a task for you to handle will it?"

Ceon wasn't too surprised though that his hammer missed his floating opponent completely. But he only smirked as his opponent had mentioned that "his" earth magic was mediocre at best. "You really shouldn't have said that." He said as Syra stepped forward. "So my magic is mediocre? I'll show you mediocre." She commented strongly. Too bad they had misjudged his appearance. He looked like a young grey, but he was still ugly. It was then that the man sent rock flying toward Ceon. Taking a quick manuever, Ceon made his body malleable and then converted himself into a big malleable wall. The rock hit his malleable body and bounced off in different direction. Turning his body back to it's reguler form, Ceon kept his eyes on Bellsick.

Suddenly the whole area was enevoloped inside a vaccuum. It looked like space, it felt like space, but then again it wasn't space. Syra and Ceon looked around and were kinda confused but they still were on guard. Manipulating his energy and that energy around him, he created a specifics gravity field. It was then that Bellsick pointed at Ceon and sent energy bullets toward him. Charging energy within his fist, Ceon struck the first energy bullet, causing it to explode which created a reaction as the other bullets were caughtin the explosion and they exploded, releasing energy and blowing hole within the vaccuum. "Time to our leave." Ceon said as he grabbed Syra's hand and jumped out with her in his arms.

After putting her down, Ceon looked around to see Reforge on the stairs. "This is not looking good. Let's get out of this bar." The Bloodbath said to Syra. Running through the big hole in the wall, Ceon and Syra were now outside the bar. Everyone would be safe now, well everyone in the bar.

"God damn it, who the hell is this?" It was rather a drag to watch his fun slip away into the hands of some mofo who thought he was a deity, justing blasting random doors for no reason. He groaned and rose to his feet, just as another one landed a kick right onto the attacker. That piqued his interest. Deyros grinned wolfishly. Seeing as it was a one-on-one fight of good vs. evil and all that nonsense, he was obliged to stay the hell out of it.

The battle just then spiked in what seemed like some hella good power. The atmosphere was twisted into what appeared to be a distorted version of what one would call Space; heh, he'd seen that technique before. A guy with two of the same Title Rites he had. Quaintly convenient.

Deyros stood as two particular individuals ran out of the door, likely the ones being attacked by who he knew now was Bellsick. There was a flash of brilliant white light, enough to blind anyone with their eyes open enough; Deyros emerged, suddenly in the direct path of the two running. Columns of light flared from all directions, daring them to keep going. Deyros flicked a strand of his hair as he waved to them.

"Yo," he said. "Running from him's only gonna ensure a longer time to die. Might as well die quick, eh? Oh and just in case you think I'm taking you lightly, it's cause I am."

Reforge looked down from the top of the stairs and sighed, he was always caught up in all kins of fighting and to be honest people were just stupid these days. There was the thing that was trying to kill everybody that was reeking havoc, or close to doing so, then both Syra and Ceon were present, apparently fighting off the creature, though it was more than obvious that the tow were just getting started. One thing caught Reforge's eye, or rather one thing was bothering Reforge. "Why the hell does that asshole keep spouting the word human?? Umm seriously there are no humans around, and there haven't been anywhere around here for billions of years."

It didn't matter really. Reforge started to walk slowly down the stairs and then past the bar where he looked at some of the frightened and also annoyed patrons that had either come downstairs before him, or were just exiting the restroom. A small cat sat on one of the tables, purring softly as the action increased and another cocky son of a bitch followed after Ceon and Syra.

"Running from him's only gonna ensure a longer time to die. Might as well die quick, eh? Oh and just in case you think I'm taking you lightly, it's cause I am."

"How annoying, and just who are you to calculate such a thing about these two??" He paused and looked back at the cat whom was no sitting on top of one of the pillars of light that had been flaring up into existence. "Anyway, I think that its safe to say that you are more than likely not about to get away with doing anything TOO rash.

The cat then began to mew, turning itself and nuzzling up against Ceon's leg as if nothing out of the ordinary was happening at the time. "So its a nice day isn't it??"

"How annoying, and just who are you to calculate such a thing about these two?? "Anyway, I think that its safe to say that you are more than likely not about to get away with doing anything TOO rash."

"Calculate? I'm just making foolish assumptions."

Deyros looked up and smiled wryly. The day just kept getting better, so much better that it was unreal to the point where one could turn to nihilism as a possible explanation.

"So its a nice day isn't it??"

Deyros broke the barrier of light, the raw power receding into nothingness. "Hell yes. Long time no see, Reforge. Don't suppose you remember me, though. It's just one fight after another for you, y'know. I coulda sworn you weren't here; didn't sense shit." He frowned. "Why the hell are you here? There's a huge-ass bounty on your head."

"Oh I certainly remember you, but It just seems that I am in a lot of fights because people these days just don't know when to quit." Why he was there was a really good question, but the bounty didn't concern him at all. "Yeh dude, 100 mil on my head is pretty much, but I assume that its that much that whomever or the organization that wants me dead is willing to pay that much can't do it themselves, so oh well. I somebody wants that money they can come and get it."

He snickered and registered a thought about the state of the bar and it fixed itself soon after, only keeping the rag tag look it had before.

The cat meowed again and then moved over to Deyros and stared up at him with a questioning purr. "So Cassie likes you it seems. That's really saying something these days." Reforge laughed and stood up, masking his expression with a bored look. "Please don't tell me you are going to kill me for that money......."
