"Why do people always do the stupid and run from me like they can't think??" It was something that Reforge got more and more used to with people these days. They all wanted to fight him, or test his power and then before it got anywhere, they all ran off like a hoe whose pimp was mas as hell around the corner. It as pathetic.

Seeing as he'd been sitting nearly the entire skirmish, it should have been apparent that for Nataku to move under his legs that either Reforge randomly stood up, or it was an illusion. Of course it was completely the latter. There was just a bit more that Reforge was now amused to find out, so doing what somebody curious might, he stood up and padded off, the small cat climbing onto his neck and following along.

He kept moving not really having to go that far to find Nataku on the other side of one of the collapsing buildings. "Heyy kid, that was pretty lame, why;d love run from me?? I mean you could at least have let me blow you up or something." The beast said this matter of-factly as if it weren't possible for him tot do so anyway. Reforge lazily crept up and sat next to Nataku and nuzzled him like a great dog or cat might do.

"So, what's up??"

Nataku was leaning against a wall when Reforge crept up beside him. He smiled, of course he had thought he would follow, but he wasn't sure, but he really did not want to fight now. 'Taku, want me to take over, we can try again now.'

'No Hideki, i don't think he wants to fight right now, but i don't know. Let's just talk.'

"Heyy kid, that was pretty lame, why;d love run from me?? I mean you could at least have let me blow you up or something." Reforge said.

"Well, it may have been lame, but i got no idea how to beat you, and i prefer to live and be in one piece."

"So, what's up??" Hideki jumped a little when he felt the big Reforge nuzzle his arm.

"Not much, just trying to not die in the collapsing building." As he finished the whole building crashed to the ground shaking the earth. Bane was sitting on his left side, not making any sound.

'That's weird Taku, why does he not growl at him, but he growls at me.'

'It is weird, but we can't know why.'

Bane stood up and walked over to Reforge and starts sniffing him slowly, approaching slowly.

"So, why did you attack me, instead of that other guy in there, Reforge?"

"Why?? Do I need to have certain reasons as to why I fight, or thus choose not to at a given time??" The other person inside whom was attacking had no means to do anything to me, and if he had then maybe things would have been different." He sighed, and a low growl rumbled from his throat before he randomly used a hind leg to scratch his right ear. "Think about it honestly," Reforge just stared casually, "You said that you wanted to fight me, or at least test your abilities and vice versa. Of course I obliged to your wish."

The cat that was still sitting on him purred and blinked a few times. "So heyy, what's this Bane guy all about?? Or maybe it would be better if I said he was a thing??" The cat stared at Bane whom was sniffing Reforge. "What do you want anyway??" The cat apparently tended to ask a lot of questions in quick succession, not even always bothering to wait for any kind of reply.

"Reason, it's something that many of us tend not to have, or in the end can't answer to."

Reforge looked at Nataku and then grinned, a gesture odd for a creature with such an anatomy in most cases. "You are more than likely just as many others are." He pointed with his paw back in the direction of the inn which wasn't that far away, only a few hundred feet, and as he talked, the inn more or less repaired itself fully, only keeping its old look and not seeming brand new.

The cat meowed and pawed at the fur on Reforge's back, "heyy will you stop that?? Geez." He paused before looking up again. "Should I assume that you are more than interested in the huge ass bounty that is on my head, or do you not care for money??"

Nataku listened closely as Reforge talked. He smiled and nodded not really caring to answer. He knew the guy was right and he cursed Hideki for being such an ass and making us fight him, there was no way we could have beaten him. 'You cursed fool Hideki, why did you have to choose a target like him. That was stupid. We need him as a friend not an enemy.'

'What do we need friends for Taku? We don't have a real mission.'

Bane continued to sniff Reforge, and with the most curious thing he had done in months he answered the cat, with real speech, "Well, my good catty friend, I am not a thing, i am a dog, and I know alot that most would not know, including that your big friend here is somehow related to dogs. Or so he smells like." Nataku jumped when he heard this, his voice was refined and kinda snooty, but it was a voice!!

'Holy shit, did the dog just talk?!?!?! Since when?' Hideki yelled.

'Well, i guess we didn't know alot about him.' Nataku laughed out loud, and said, "Well, I'm not after the bounty persae, My good friend Hideki is after big bounties for good fights, and i just send the bounty back to my family or use it for supplies. We all need to make a living."

Reforge chuckled and then looked at Bane as he started talking, obviously much to the surprise of Nataku and whatever was inside his being, "Well, my good catty friend, I am not a thing, i am a dog, and I know a lot that most would not know, including that your big friend here is somehow related to dogs. Or so he smells like." It was the perfect answer for the knowledge given. Sometime thought the sense could be deceived in alarming ways, such as the way they were now. It was okay though, all as as it should be for the moment.

"Well then I can almost see that what you say next will more than likely be both conformation and denial of what I asked you." After a moment it certainly was. "Yeh so everybody seems to need to make a living, yet if that is so, the bounty on my head would be so great for you or anybody that they could live a happy live for the REST of their life in this place."

The cat scoffed and looked at the dog. "Seriously. You are an odd creature to be talking. I don't think that dogs actually talk anywhere around for light years. So how is it that YOU do so??" The cat said this pretty blandly and didn't seem to care if it was answered or not, but the question still lingered......

Nataku smiled and Hideki scoffed in his head, "Of course i could live the rest of my life in peace, except for the little voice in my head. But, i can find other bounties, and i prefer to make friends rather than enemies. and my little friend likes to talk a little too much, and fight." 'Hey, I resent that Taku.'

'Of course you do Hideki.'

Bane let out a throaty bark, which Nataku suspected as a laugh, "Well, I'm not exactly sure on that tidbit of information, just that for the past 75 years i've been roaming this land with the ability to talk. Other than that i know not what gave me this voice or brain. So, how is it you talk?"

"So, Reforge, why is it you fight?" Nataku asked him.

Gear descended down from the sky landing with a bang as the explosions dissipated to nothingness. He raised his head as the yuoi said a very unexpected response to Gear's attack.

"Gear was it, well you are certainly one unique opponent, and i must say i am impressed, so how bout it, join me, help me stop this war."

Gear did not know what would be his response. He raised his left hand and the gigantic cannon he had went back to his robot hand. After that the yuoi went back about 10 feet or so and stood there as if waiting for a response.

"To stop this war? Wouldn't you be pursuing an impossible dream by doing that? Tell me, why do you want to stop this war and maybe I'll think about your offer," Gear said looking at his opponent waiting for his reply. Gear had nothing to do with this war, nothing to care about. He was nothing looking for something but this yuoi just seemed very intriguing with his laughable charade of stopping the war.

"To stop this war? Wouldn't you be pursuing an impossible dream by doing that? Tell me, why do you want to stop this war and maybe I'll think about your offer,

Words from gear, stroke Vento with deep thought, he wanted to understand why this little robot questioned if the war could be stopped. "So you don't think that the war can be ended do you. You think it is an impossible dream with little chance of becoming a reality." Vento said pausing for a brief second. He looked deep into the little robots' eyes, and then he backed away about one foot, and continued on of what he had to say. "Little robot, let me make one thing clear, this is not just going to be a dream, i will somehow make it a reality, i am just so sick and tired of war, after war for no apparent reason. Honestly, if you help me or not is not my concern, i just thought that a cheerful robot like yourself would want to end war" Vento paused once more, taking a deep breath.

As he walked away from Gear about three feet, he begin to finish up what he had to say."if not going to help me then its really no problem, but if you want to end war, then please do follow me, but please remember this is only if you want to end the war, and that is what i am going to do." Vento said, walking away, not caring much about if Gear came with him or not.
