Rider of Dragons! We Must Retrieve the Dragon Stone! {RP}

Not from Omega Prime: This RP was created due to a site called Dragon Cave.net and it has come to my attention that some of you are dragon cave members which means this will make sense to you considering this RP as a dragon egg/hatchling that you don't want to die because as I and Ami-chan see it if the RP dies it is as if your saying that you don't want help keeping your dragon eggs or hatchlings alive so let make sure that this RP contiues on.

Sky Moonhawk asked Siria, her white dragon companion, to land in a clearing below them. As Siria touched down, Sky slid out of the saddle on the dragon’s back. This was one of the few forests left in this world, and she wanted to enjoy it, but there was a more pressing issue at hand. The injured mountain lion was a few hundred yards into the forest and Sky quickly made her way there. Siria followed behind her through the trees. Of course, Siria had always been small for a dragon, just like Sky had been small for a Rider, but they made a perfect pair.

Sky stepped closer toward the injured cat, assessing the damage. The poor creature, one of the last left, had broken both of its back legs. She suspected poachers. The cat growled at her when she stepped closer.

“You know,” Siria said. “There is such a thing as being too open-hearted.”

Sky had to laugh at that. She knew the dragon felt the same way she did about helping the poor animal. Sky let some of her magic slide out of her body towards the cat, easing its pain and putting it to sleep. As soon as she was sure the lion was out for sure, she crept around to the cat’s back legs. She let some more of her magic spread from her hands into the creature’s legs, healing them quickly. As soon as she was finished, she stepped back and slowly pulled her magic out of the cat’s body so it would eventually wake up on its own. She climbed back into the saddle and asked Siria to take flight.

“Byakuya’s not going to be happy that you delayed,” Siria chastised once they were in the air.

“Byakuya will be fine,” Sky replied. “I’ll make sure he is.”

Byakuya shouldn't we be getting to camp asked Sunbrust, his gold dragon woundered? Don't you worry we'll get back to camp in time. I'll head through the woods you just keep an eye on me from the sky but wouldn't Sky be worried about her captain safty? Nah she wouldn't worry Sky knows that I'm capibale of handling my self quite easaly Sunbrust you just worry to much. After all I am the Captain of the knights of light after all. Your right Byakuya I'll meet you on the other side of the woods alright. Fine go just telling you if I'm not out of the woods in 20 minutes come and get me. Understood I'll do that just don't go through and die on us now okay things would be bad if you did. Fine just go Sunbrust you silly dragon (what am I going to do with him) you know I heard that Byakuya.

Lazerith stands upon a ledge made of blackened stones as he gazes down at the confines of the cage like depression. He watches as the giant beast that he himself helped to grow tears and rips at the flesh of a fallen foe and coats the walls in the blood of the corpse. Though it can't be seen, a smile creeps across Lazerith's face as he remembers the rider of the dragon that is now nothing but a snack. The rider had managed to get to Lazerith himself and attempted to take his very life. The man was not worthy of the sword that rests on Lazerith's back so he had used a simple spell to obliterate the man and fed the man's dragon to his own beast.

His concentration was broken when a slab of hardened flest slaps him where his eyes would be and the sounds of laughter filled his mind. The beast had thought it funny to throw a piece of meat to his master and watch it slap him in the faceguard. Lazerith peels the flesh from his helmet and removes the bloody helmet. He looks to the beast and says, "Funny, Morker. You just gave my servents more work to do. Now, finish your snack so that I can send someone in to clean up your area. And this time, don't eat them. You're making it hard to find those stupid or brave enough to enter your chambers."

He left the area at the sounds of grumbling filling the entire room only to emerge in a room made of the same stones. He pulls the massive blade from his back and stabs the ground next to the large chair in the center of the room and takes a seat. He then looks to one of the servents standing before him and starts to remove the metal plating that is his armor. He tells the woman to clean every inch of it and remove the dents placed by the lone warrior. He then looks to another servent and sits back down in his throne. He feels the black cloth resting upon his muscular frame and pushes some of the white hair out of his red eyes.

"You. Go find my daughter. Tell her that I wish to speak with her."

Desino scowled as he shot through the forest at breakneck speed, dodging around trees as he tried to move faster away from the source of his anger.

He had thought he had felt some dragons nearby, and he was right. And they just had to be the leader of the Light Dragons and that cursed Moonhawk and Siria. Annoying. It made his mission much harder. He had no time to waste killing these higher ranking fools. It would take too long and his target would escape... and these two brats were definitely not his target. They would take too long to kill, and for a smaller amount of money.

In frustration he slashed out at a nearby mountain lion. It squealed and ran off in the direction of Moonhawk, bone fractures in its back legs created from Desino's weapon. Desino scowled again. He had hit the lion with the blunt part and not the sharp part... what was wrong with him today? His aim was off and his luck was bad.
As he ran, the trees and grass behind him withered and paled, dying as the shadowy figure passed. It was Desino's aura, a killing intent that drained the life from everything Desino came near to.

He looked up and suddenly swore. The white hair and tall figure that had appeared in front of him was unmistakable. The Rider had left his dragon for some reason, which was why Desino didn't notice him until it was too late. Desino had ran straight into Byakuya without noticing. The Rider had left his dragon for some reason, which was why Desino didn't notice him until it was too late - he could only sense dragons, not pitiful humans. Desino had done the impossible. He had made a mistake.

Without pause, Desino unsheathed his weapon, subtly changed his footing and leaped straight over Byakuya in a flash, spinning as he did. Two long spikes, Desino's weapons, shot out from Desino towards Byakuya, flashing silver in the dying sunlight. Despite attacking at such high speeds, Desino's accuracy was impeccable - he had aimed towards two important Deathlines, on the neck and shoulder. The neck, of course was an instant kill, and the shoulder would cut straight into a large artery that would make Byakuya die of blood loss faster than he could think of a good way to curse him with his dying breath.
In short, every shot, every hit from Desino was a lethal hit. This guy had no chance.

Now.... how much would would he get from killing the Captain of the Light?

Blair was walking next to her dragon Raina in a quiet forest when she saw something out of the corner of her eyes, "What do you suppose that was Raina?" She asked her dragon curiously, "I'm not sure but there is really only one way to find out I suppose." Raina replied. Blair was glad that she had called Raina down from where she was circling when she found a clearing that she could land in, she didn't like to be far away from her dragon for any length of time and was now even more glad as she had a feeling that whatever it was that she saw was most likely not friendly. "I suppose you are right as usual, let's go and see what that was then." Blair said to Raina, they walked through the forest in the direction that the blur had traveled eager to have the mystery however small it may be unraveled so that she could go watch the clouds go by.

As Raina and Blair entered a clearing they saw the blur now a person leap towards Byakuya with some kind of weapon, Blair knew that whoever this was they meant harm to her friend and leader and so tried to take action but was pleased to see that Byakuya had already seen the attacker and managed to stop the attack on his own. She wondered if she should intervene but decided to merely sit back and pop up if she was needed, no sense in getting in a fight withought at least knowing what the fight was about; she looked to her side and saw that Raina had the same idea and so the two sat and waited.

Drake walked through the halls of the Dark Knight fortress with no real objective in mind, his dragon Millificent was nearby in a cavern resting after the days work in a nearby village, Drake always loved when he was told to attack a village with no further orders as it allowed him free reign to do with the vilage what he pleased and this time he had felt the longing to burn it to the ground, now true the buildings were mostly cement but that didn't stop him from burning everything that was flammable to the ground. As he wandered lost in thought he saw a servant scurying as quickly as possible from a nearby corridor, intrigued Drake went forward to see who could have made the servant move with such haste when he saw that it was in fact Lazerith sitting at a table.

"Greetings sir." Drake said with an slight bow of the head to acknowledge his leaders role, "I have managed to qwell the uprising in the village as you requested of me, is there anything else I can do or will that be all?" Drake said to his leader, he knew that there was probably something important going on and was curious about the nature of the order thats ent the servent scurrying and hoped that he would not be sent away though he knew it was all a matter of Lazerith's whim and how good of a day he had had.

Iolana was resting peacefully in her cabin, up in the mountain range that had been known as the Rockies. She then curiosly stared at the mark on her arm. It was shaped like a dragon and had only just appeared just three days ago. She sighs a breath of contentment and just relaxes some more, knowing full well she was the only one in the this part of the mountain range. She closes her eyes, taking peace at the fact that she was her own person, and not having to take orders from anyone or anything. A probing thought entered her mind, and she lets the presenace that was her dragon enter her mind. He then grumbled in her mind, "You know... Sooner or later they will both find us." She replies back, "Well, as long as its later then. For i really don't give a crap about what happens. As long as i get to live in peace, find with me. Besides, if your hungry, i'm going into town tommorrow and i'll pick up some meat for you." "Well, just don't give yourself away..." "You know fully well they can't sense me. I have no magical abilities, thus they really can't track me down that way. Now, why don't you go do whatever it is you want, and i just sleep some more...." "I have no idea why i hatched for you.... but this life is peaceful, and without worries exept for when the next meal is. Take care, little one..." She felt his mind leave and she takes a deep soothing breath and falls asleep, knowing that she was safe for a long time.

Illirea looked to the sky as he flew through the skies on Dart, His fire dragon. "I never thought this would happen to me." "Unexpected things happen, young one" Dart said. They landed in an open field and rested they have been heading east most of the time since they left their village northwest of here. To the south was the mountains, and a great forest to the north, but from his village he came from a small village in a valley west of that forest.

It's late afternoon,the sun and clouds are fighting for dominian in the sky. The air is cool,due to the high elevation Darel and his Dragon Farroe are at. The pair are on a mountian top,Darel is reading a special Tome,while Farroe had curled up into a ball and is resting peacefuly. "Hmm first step...is to actually summon it out of thin air..." he mumbled,while running his fingure through the page. "You know the reason you can do that is because of--" "Evaporation. I know that Farroe... I'm twenty-two,I should know that by now." Farroe chuckled,"Just making sure..."

Darel stood up,formed a book stand from ice,and placed the open book on it.. He then extended his left arm,with his hand open,"I call fourth the power of water... Dorm in my hand.." He chanted. A blob of water then formed in his hand,it gradually grew in size. Darel slowly moved his arm back and fourth,and the water started to sway from side to side along with it. He brought the movements to a halt,made a fist,then the magic disappeared. "Not bad Master... You also translated the words right." Farroe teased as he slowly arose,expanding his wings. "You are one sarcastic dragon...." Darel calmly remarked,"Well regaurdless,it's time to head back home... Hopefully the boss has something for me to do..." He packed up the Tome,loaded the cargo onto his Dragon and mounted. Farroe ascended into the sky,and started racing towards the HQ.

In less than 10 minutes,they had arrived at their destination,"Take a nap here Farroe,I'll return shortly." the young dragon layed down,while Darel marched off to meet the Master. Upon arrival,it seemed Lazerith was busy with someone else,so he waited until the Master summoned him.

My my impulsive aren't you Desino, you thought that I wouldn't have caught the glint of your attack(Byakuya said mockingly as he deflected the attack with his sword) I Byakuya captain of the knights of light will not be killed off so easily by a pup like you. (Mystic Lightning Cage) Byakuya draws his sword with such speed that it cleaves through the trees as if they where only butter.Come on Desino why don't you fight me so that way we can see who is the stronger between us (Aqua Flame)And beside I swear that I Byakuya will kill you for what you have done for you see I've got an excellent memory it was you who kill my family when I was only five years old! So its time that I Byakuya avenge the deaths of my family!

"Sky," Siria said. "I think Byakuya's got himself into another fight again."

"Crap," Sky replied. "He really should cool it. It's not like I'm some kind of machine that can just fix every problem. He should know by now that even if I heal his wounds, they stiil need time to settle and really mend."

"Let's go get him, then," Siria suggested. Sky nodded once and the white dragon wheeled around in the air, performing an intricate loop just because she could. Sky laughed with the rush of wind.

After that, Siria flew fast and hard to the place where Byakuya had gotten himself into a foray.

"Just grab him," Sky said, and Siria did just that. She swooped low and scooped the Knight up in her claws, careful not to really hurt him.

"Why must you always do this?" Sky called down to him.

The wind rushed by making a whistling sound, the ground below was nothing but a blur. The sky above was a clear blue and not a cloud in sight. Ahead were mountains that seemed to be rushing at them. Jazz looked up from his thinking to see a tree in their way. “Crescendo…” he trailed off realizing that the dragon he sat above could see it and was making a hairpin move that made it so that the tips of Crescendos claws just barely brushed the tree. Jazz looked around at his surroundings and realized they where close to the camp. “Crescendo we need to slow down we are nearly at the camp.” said Jazz through gritted teeth. Crescendo began to slow down until the where flying at a low enough speed that Jazz could sit up look around a little better. Up ahead he could see smoke and could here people conversing and working. Crescendo hovered and landed in a clearing and Jazz slipped off his back and began to make his way to a large tent that he had been staying in.

Lazerith looked to the one that was addressing him and feels a smile spread across his face. The one standing before him was a close running for his favorite, but not quite there. He acknowledges the man standing before him even as the young man delivers his status report on the village. It was true that the resistance in the village was proving to be of a slight annoyance, and that only helped to soothe the minds of those that are weak in his followings. In truth, he just wanted to use the village as an example. It's true that the place was not the largest of villages, but it was large enough to strike fear into the leaders of the larger villages and cities. And that was the power of only one of his underlings.

"That's good to hear. Now tell me, did you let atleast one villager survive? What's better to spread word than by a survivor that has survived the horror?"

He smiles to himself and then takes notice of yet another looking in on them. He instantly recognizes the one trying to hide, or so one would think, and motions for the young man to walk forward. It's true that Drake was already a devoit follower, but he only had times to improve in his combat. Darel, on the other hand, was filled with untapped potential. He was the one that was blessed or cursed, depending on how one would see it, to be his favorite. Many believed it to be a position taken by his daughter, but that was a completely different matter. She was already trained to be like him, only improving where he had failed.

"Darel, Drake, I'm saddened to report that I have no real need of your skills at the moment. So for now, relax with your beasts. I may need you to go to action at any time."

He knows that the best way to keep an army was to allow them time for themselves at random intervals. It helped to qualm any thoughts of revolt and kept them loyal. A dog will remain loyal no matter how much you beat it as long as you feed it what the dog wants. It was a simple aspect but required the use of the mind. He could kill them off later when he didn't need them and they proved to be worthless, but for now he kept them in check by letting them off of their leashes at times to run around.

Over a vast expanse of forest, the dragon Shu Hong Fei flew through the air in his traditional slithering style, as was common in those of his breed. His golden scales glistened in the sun as he moved along, reflecting its glorious light off them. To those that knew not of the existance of dragons, this would prove to be a beautifully frightening scene. Even among the other dragons in this world, Hong Fei was unusual. Mostly, he stood out due to his serpent like appearance. He was also different in the sense that his legs were considerably shorter than the those of the other dragons.

But he was respected none the less. The others knew well that he had once been a guardian over an entire empire. And they also knew that he was modest, having turned down an offer to be a guardian of the world as a whole. He believed that such a position was beyond his power. Thus, he had taken a lesser role, as the companion of human. But his was no ordinary human.

Upon Hong's back was the young sorceress, Zhen Qiao Lin. She had once been the student of the legendary Zuo Ci, who was a close freind of Hong Fei. It was clear to the dragon that this girl would someday surpass her master in skill and power. She was prescious to Hong, and he was prescious to her. They would die together, if need be.

As they flew over the forest, Qiao spotted another dragon, a white one, rise up from the trees, carrying what appeared to be another rider, as well another person that may or may not have been a rider. "Hong," she said, "speed it up a bit please. I'd like to greet that other rider."

"As you wish, young Qiao," said Hong, in his old, wise voice. He sped up his pace, and they fund themselves in line with the rider of the white dragon.

"Greetings," said Qiao. "I am Zhen Qiao Lin, and this is Shu Hong Fei. What are your names?"

"That's good to hear. Now tell me, did you let atleast one villager survive? What's better to spread word than by a survivor that has survived the horror?"

Drake of course had left at least one person standing no matter how much he wished otherwise, in fact he had left exactly three poor souls alive in the village. "Yes sir, three to be precise, on the off chance that one might commit suicide and another might die in the travel." Drake had thought of this before he had started his attack and he was pleased that he had done well in that aspect.

"Darel, Drake, I'm saddened to report that I have no real need of your skills at the moment. So for now, relax with your beasts. I may need you to go to action at any time."

Well I suppose that my curiosity shall have to wait to be sated, Drake thought to himself as Lazerith dismissed him, I suppose it is of no real concern, if it is important information I shall learn it in due time and if not well then oh well. He thought as he bid his leader farewell, he wandered off through the coridors again wondering if Millificent had finished her nap.

As Blair sat watching what ensued she heard something about the attacker (who's name was apparently desino) and how he had murdered Byakuya's family when he was younger, this would explain a lot about Byakuya She thoought to herself as suddenly a large white dragon swooped down and picked up Byakuya; I know that dragon! Blair thought as she hopped onto Raina's back, the pair leaped through the foliage causing a few scrapes and bruises to appear on Blair and flew up to wear another dragon had appeared. "Hey guys, what's going on?" She asked out of curiosity when she reached the other Light Knights.

And beside I swear that I Byakuya will kill you for what you have done for you see I've got an excellent memory it was you who kill my family when I was only five years old! So its time that I Byakuya avenge the deaths of my family!

Desino laughed. "You may be the Leader of the Light, but you are still ignorant. I was not the one who killed you family. They were just too weak to defend themselves! As you still are now!"

Desino's voice touched upon insanity as Byakuya shot two of his trademark magics at him. "This?? I expected more control from you! What a great example you are to your people!" Desino called out mockingly as he spun his weapon in a circle around him, the chain whistling in the faint breeze. "Striking out without pause to those you hate just because you don't like them? For shame!"

There were oh so many ways he could have blocked Byakuya's attack. They were both surround-constrict-kill abilities, which was something that definitely would not work against Desino. Desino was a short to mid range fighter, and anything within that range could be easily destroyed by Desino's abilities.
As the Aqua Flame spell gathered around Desino, he closed his eyes and discharged a concentrated level of death, aiming towards the Deathlines of everything within a meter of him. A little known fact was that even magic contained Deathlines - all magic expires and vanishes after a while, making magic easily 'killed' if Desino needed to.

A wave of invisible force flowed out of Desino in ripples, as the plants and grass around him instantly shriveled and died, turning black and charred. A nearby mouse gasped for breath once before kneeling over, dead. The magic, likewise, glowed in retaliation for half a second before exploding outwards. Desino stepped out of the smoke made from the dying magics untouched.

But Byakuya had already ran like the coward he was, flying away in the claws of a white dragon. "See! Even now, when you are the leader of an empire, you need others to save you!!" Desino called out to the pathetic leader. "RUN BYAKUYA!! RUN LIKE THE DOG YOU ARE! Your parents are ashamed of you."

Desino grinned and left in a swirl of shadow, sprinting off into the distance. Even the leader of Light was vulnerable to hate and anger... and Desino would be the one to nurture that hate and anger until Byakuya became so corrupted with them that he would fall from his high position, disgraced.
Psychological assassination. Desino liked that idea.
