| Taste the Kamehameha. | “You do see what I’ve been trying to explain to you today Reforge??” Gal’in eyed his soul partner with a sheepish loon, more than aware that Reforge probably wasn’t even paying that much attention to what he was saying. The past few weeks had been quite baffling for both the world of Yureaty, Reforge and Gal’in. There were a lot of problems deciphering the prophecy of what was to happen to Yureaty as a whole, yet the stubbornness of Reforge and Gal’in’s willingness to go along with all that might come to be made things semi-complicated…………. It all started with the supposed correct deciphering of the first stage of the Ba’al legend, which involved the set off of a chain of events that would strike Yureaty into a stage of fear greater than even times seen in the past. The first step was the eruption of Mt. Saint Seros, one of the most beautiful and largest EXTINCT volcanos on Yureaty. Gal’in thought back to what happened that day. It wasn’t anything pretty, but he was happy nonetheless. All of this was for the better. Reforge was reading from memory the inscription to Ba’al’s forces, but just from listening, Gal’in knew that it was all going to be harder than what Refroge was thinking. He was ridiculously conceited, and this always made any days doings more amusing for the ever happy dragon. “Cherlan Aladfar……..Ba’al Zastte.” Gal’in just stared at Reforge, smiling, the small corners of his lips curving up as he watched the energies flow from Reforge, and eye witnesses from outside of Mt. Saint Seros could easily see the pink glow that grew duller as Reforge manifested what was known from legend to be the sign of Ba’al’s rage for disobedience. Reforge grinned. “Damn, this is really gonna suck soon. Let’s get the hell out of here right now.” Gal’in decided not to linger on that event, and just focused on what was going to happen next. The pair were now walking through Brigum Ser, one of the larger coastal cities in the southeast portion of Yureaty. There was security present and all that, but these people had something coming if their minds told them that measly soldiers were going to stop Reforge and Gal’in. It wasn’t that hard for Gal’in to sneak around to the inaccessible area of the main temple that was apparently off limits to the public, and the small body of the dragon went unnoticed and undetected by both the guards, and magickal sensors. Of course it really didn’t matter, as Reforge needed to go back there as well, and the muffled scream from the only guard standing watched as a blade ripped through his neck, throat and at once severed his spine. Blood gushed onto the floor as he lay dead, but all Reforge was concerned about the scroll that Gal’in had. “Alright time to nuke this place.” The person whom was in body just now a man turned and began to walk briskly out of the temple, exciting gasps and cries from those who were shocked to see that he apparently had one of the most treasured pieces of history in his hands, which soon was given to his tiny dragon that flew, no larger than a small cat next to him. Ore guards of a higher level moved in to render Refroge unconscious with spells casts, and were aggravated to see that he walked right past them, throwing them off guard, angering them to the point where, though not the physical combat guards, they rushed in to attack anyway, one of them snickering at Gal’in. “This lil fairy thing will make a nice pet,” he said and reached for the dragon. Screams of agony escaped both his lips, as Gal’in’s sharp teeth ripped his hand to shreds, and as a large group of the guards fell before Reforge, a single wave of his hand blowing their bodies backwards revealing decay in seconds. Gal’in just giggled. “Oh, yet another twisted power displayed huh??” His laugh grew louder as elite forces, and more guards scrambled around screaming orders, trying to figure out how to get a handle on the situation. “Whatever.” Reforge’s wings materialized and opened up, extending as he exited the temple and flew upwards several stories into the air with Gal’in next to him. “Mufrid I’klil” Reforge brough his hand down, and the air around it rippled as he forced his hand at an angle towards the temple which housed all kinds of spiritual forces, given the right push would cause them to go amuck, and that is just what happened as the orb of energy slammed through the temple, people in the streets yelling collectively. One man screamed, “What is that guy doing.” Another merely cursed, “What is Yureaty coming to??” Women began to flee the seen, but Reforge and Gali’n were at least a block away when the first shockwave came, an outwards explosion blowing the left side out of the temple and causing the roof to collapse, killing people inside and also in the street. Residual waves of energy pulsed through the streets, ripping into unsuspecting civilians and the like, causing disarray. A second explosion that produced something similar to a mushroom cloud in the ancient district of the city occurred shortly after, and the city of Brigum Ser was plunged into chaos. Gal’in smiled, and waved his head back and forth, his angelic butterfly wings fluttering with fairy dust. Reforge petted him. “I love fulfilling destiny don’t you??” Gal’in only responded with a familiar chuckle……. |

| Dual Wielder | "Dammit, that's the third time this month!" Nagase struggled vainly in an attempt to free herself from the ancient, enormous fir tree she had just gotten herself entangled in. Obviously, it's not the wisest course of action to revert into the form of a thunderbird and practice arial maneuvers in the middle of the day, but Nagase felt it necessary to prepare herself for the fulfillment of the Ba'al legend, which certainly seemed to be unraveling itself while Nagase was still in her prime. After several futile attempts to untangle her majestic wingspan from the enraptured branches of the fir, Nagase's patience wore thin. She muttered several harsh words unintelligibly under her breath, and with a deafening CRACK the appendages that had been imprisoning her exploded in a flash of brilliant white light. Nagase drifted down to the floor of the valley that she had been practicing in, shaking her head in disgust at her own failure to navigate correctly. A swift wingbeat, and Nagase returned to her human form. She chewed on the edge of a finger thoughtfully, draping her free hand on the intricate crosshilt of her sword. "I swear this just ain't getting any easier... if only thunderbirds came in petite sizes." She laughed softly at her corny joke and turned in the direction of Brigum Ser, a bustling coastal city known for its diverse cultures. Nagase was about to mutter the spell that would take her directly to her flat on the outskirts of the town when a powerful rush of air knocked Nagase off her feet. She fell several feet backwards before she righted herself and slid to a stop in the dirt, breathing hard. "What the hell was that?!" A single glance in the general direction of Brigum Ser brought a look of sheer horror to Nagase's face. A billowing mushroom cloud had taken form over the city, an omen of ill will for the many inhabitants of the consistently busy town. Pictures of familiar friends flashed through Nagase's head as she struggled to contain her thoughts and figure out what just happened. Suddenly, it dawned on her like a lightning strike (no pun intended). "Right now? It's happening now?!" Nagase swore under her breath and spun in a furious circle, transforming herself back into her thunderbird form. Instantly she launched herself into the air, detecting the fastest wind current and using it to propell herself in the direction of Brigum Ser. "Someone is about to get a rude awakening from me!" | How long shall you delve into time? | It had been said that the human mind always functioned easier in an open, quiet environment. This was true, at least, by Vidofnir’s standards. The air was fresh as it met his nostrils and lungs; there was a slight breeze that made the grass and leaves sway in a lazy manner, not to mention his hair. The sky was clear and showed no signs of distasteful weather. It was a nice day, overall, certainly not the type to soon be impacted by a catastrophe. But you know how stories usually go. Vidofnir sat cross-legged under a thick beech tree. Its branches were wide and caressed him with its shade. In front of him was a small, foldable table that Vidofnir often carried on his back. Upon the table were an inkwell and some papers, upon which he was writing on with a quill. It was text of the most philosophical kind, questioning the workings of emotion and the soul. It was not so much as a question to others as it was a question to himself. So far, only one line had presented itself to him. What is reality but the dream we are forced to acknowledge? He did not know what should have come after that. More correctly would be that he was too busy thinking about the question itself. This was a counter to the constant nag in the back of his head about the Ba’al legend, something he thought would happen, but was still preventable, provided people took drastic measures. In fact, the changes required were so large because it needed the altering of mankind’s mentality, something that Vidofnir knew could never happen. Once a mind has developed, it cannot go back to its previous state. His thoughts were interrupted by a roaring noise, which his keen ears (derived from the wolf-demon Fenrir) picked up immediately. The legend? Perhaps, perhaps not. Vidofnir sighed and rose after closing his inkwell and storing it and the papers in a separate pouch. The quill went into a pocket before he folded the table and strapped it to a bandolier across his back. All set, he set off to his first destination. First, his private study; a small cottage nestled in a thicket, which was not far off. All it took was the gravel path behind the beech tree. He reached it within five minutes. After placing each of his belongings into their designated spots, he locked the door and placed the key in a little hollow under an oak. He was just about to leave when he picked up a air disturbance. He looked up to see two winged creatures flying from the direction of Brigum Ser, a town not too far from where he stood. Frowning, Vidofnir noticed one of the creatures was a young man. Was that…? |

| you better believe in yourself | Hard stone. Water dripping. Dank smell. Arm sore. Edgar opened his eyes, harsh, bright light meeting his vision. Clamping his eyelids shut, he sat in silence for another few moments. Everything was a painful blur, including his head, his body, and his memory. After his headache reduced to a mere throbbing, he attempted to sit up slowly. After 4 failed attempts, Edgar finally managed to lean against a wall. Next, find my shades, he decided, feeling around with his hands. Many items brushed up against his palms (few of which he was able to identify), until the cool frame of his glasses met his touch. Releasing a sigh, Edgar picked them up, seating them on the bridge of his nose. Able to safely open his eyes, he raised them a crack. Harsh light filtered, he let them open fully. He seemed to be in the back of an alley, damp with sea water. Sea water? Where the hell am I?. The dull headache made it difficult for him to think, but eventually Edgar was able to grasp onto his memory. He'd been visiting... Brigum Sir. The women here tended to be easy, and he'd been tired lately. Too much work for the Council. So... he'd been here for some tail... then what? A bar, The Salty Slacks. Stupid name, great drinks. Edgar had been there with... 3 women? Wow, he must've been on a roll. Their names... didn't matter, they were gorgeous. He was doing one of his tricks, where he chilled a woman's bra. A blank in his memory... then he was outside. Two rowdy sailors had come by, apparently 2/3 of the women were their girlfriends. Some harsh words were thrown at Edgar, he laughed them off. A punch, screaming, he might've killed someone. Regardless, the women ran, and he found himself here. Thought it would be a nice place to snooze, and... then this morning. "Idiot, you didn't kill anyone. They ran off when you froze one of their legs", his sleeve informed him. Edgar laughed, "Did I really"? The sleeve sighed, and then Vritra slithered out. Her crystal-like body gleamed in the light, black tongue darting in and out. Regardless of her beauty, Edgar noticed a shaking quality in her voice. She was as hung-over as he was, their minds synched even during intoxication. It was the only way Edgar could go about his flirting with Vritra trying to kill his dates. "That was fairly cheap of you dearest, rendering me a fool so you could flirt with hussies", she hissed as him. Edgar smiled, rubbing her smooth head with his thumb. "Perhaps if you wouldn't hiss and snap at them so, I wouldn't have to". She said nothing, secretly enjoying the soft massage. Edgar stood on his feet, hangover receding abnormally fast (one of the pros of magick). Stretching his sore muscles, he stepped out of the alley into light. The breeze was cool, layered with the smell of salt water and... panic? Something was amiss... people were screaming. Explosions could be heard in the distance. Edgar made his way down the street, opposite the people running away. He yawned, scratching his head under a wild bush of hair. "I believe work has caught up to us dearest", Vritra stated, Edgar grunting in agreement. While he had come here for relaxation, he was also here with buisness for the temple. He could see it in the distance, standing among the various buildings around it. And as quickly as he had sighted it, it was destroyed in a flash. The explosion creating an appropriate shockwave, forcing it's way through the city. Homes came apart, people were flung into the air. Edgar walked on regardless, hair whipping back. "You can feel him, correct?", Vritra asked, as Edgar scanned the skyline. And indeed he could, radiating magick like a nova. He waved, as one classmate would to another, shouting. "Oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!! Sup old man?", snickering at his little joke. Last edited by afrobutt; September 27th, 2008 at 10:57 PM. |

| wat | Athena was in a deep slumber under a oak tree. After a days worth of walking she decided to just lay down and take a rest. She never had a home, so this was how her days were, endless wandering. Hoping for new experiences and adventures, with Lliriloth by her side. *Snooooooooore* "zzzzz...." Was heard through out the area. She never did have the ability to sleep lady like... Lliriloth was covering her ears. “Gosh Athena, Your worse then a bear in hibernation!” She started to whack Athena with her tail. “Wake up darn you, I cant get any sleep, and if I cant you cant either.” She started hitting her harder. “Zzzz.... Ahhh! Theres a big carrot hitting me! Zzz..zzz.” Athena started to squirm. From out of nowhere a large shock wave came over them. “ What was that...?” Lliriloth asked to herself. “ Ahhhhhhhhh!” Athena bolted up out of her sleep. “Oh... it was just a dream, I thought I even heard a big explosion heh ...” She rubbed her side. “ I must've been sleeping on a rock or something... My side feels all beat up.” Lliriloth sighed. “You never learn...” ' Although I shouldn't tell her that that explosion was actually the thing that woke her up... We shouldn't get involved in matters we do not know....' Athena started getting ready to move to the next destination. “... I feel something odd... Like I'm going to see something or someone soon.... Oh well.” She packed up her stuff and just sat against the tree until she felt like moving. |

| How long shall you delve into time? | OOC: Well, that gives me something to do =D. ---------------- Vidofnir continued to watch Reforge and Gal'in soar across the crisp, blue sky for a few more moments, before his ears detected a slight noise. Narrowing his eyes, he turned his head right and then left. No sign of anything. He turned half of his body to behind him, where his eyes locked on to...something. Vidofnir's frame was now fully facing it. It was a young woman, who had risen from a deep sleep (she looked quite drowsy). Beside her was a dragon that had a hide gleaming with brilliance and eyes that reflected a serious state of mind. It was very likely that this person was a Dragonbane, which meant a possible enemy of Vidofnir's. Oh well, it couldn't be helped. It was important that he observe the results of Reforge's recent exploit at Brigum Ser, but the situation at hand implied a change of plans. "You there, Dragonbane," he spoke sternly, pointing his finger at her. "What is your business here?" |

| Taste the Kamehameha. | "Oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!! Sup old man?" Reforge turned, knowing very well that as he was once the leader of the Elder Rose, it was an inside joke that a few of the members used to call him old. It was rather annoying, but mentally we was pretty old, as mature as one might come, but in reality, things could change pretty quickly. Not only had he seen the one called Blizzard, with his comment, but he also was wondering why yet another he was once considerably close to was not present. Reforge dropped down from the sky, his wings dissipating as he did so, and he smiled, looking at Edgar, but moving away and not saying anything to him. Reforge was more concerned with the gorgeous woman whom was with Vidofnir. Things were just about to become better than before. “Well,” Reforge snickered. “I didn’t expect to see you here Vidofnir. I thought that you went into hiding after the last time you tried to stop me from getting the first part of the Ba’al Legend started.” Gal’in didn’t say anything, he just flitted down to the ground and looked up at the woman, his back arched. Though in Reforge’s eyes nobody was ever a threat, Gal’in knew not to underestimate people. On top of that fact, Reforge had just wiped out a portion of Brigum Ser……… |

| How long shall you delve into time? | Before an answer could be made from the woman, Vidofnir glanced upward to see that Reforge had seen him and was quickly descending. As he neared the ground, his wings dissolved away, with Gal'in touching down beside him. Reforge let out a snicker. “Well, I didn’t expect to see you here Vidofnir. I thought that you went into hiding after the last time you tried to stop me from getting the first part of the Ba’al Legend started.” Turning his attention away from the woman, Vidofnir scrutinized Reforge with his purple gaze. "You're right. I did shroud myself into the shadows after that last incident," Vidofnir calmly replied. "But not anymore, not after the fun you've had at Brigum Ser. I have no intention of letting you go uninjured, at the least." Vidofnir turned back to the woman. "Fate smiles upon you, for you have gotten lucky. Run while you can, unless you wish to get disintegrated." Facing Reforge once more, Vidofnir's gaze became colder than usual. "You may make the first move," Vidofnir said. "That is, if you're up for it." ----------------------------------------- OOC: If you want to accept the challenge, then let's make this chaotic. >=) |

| Taste the Kamehameha. | “You say that as if you really think that talk means something to me.” Reforge turned to Gal’in, and shrugged. “I guess you know what comes next huh bud??” Gal’in just rolled its eyes, a gesture which may, or may not have gone noticed by Vidofnir. He took a step backwards, looking once again to the woman, whom with a mere glance he smiled. Vidofnir talked like the woman was helpless, but as a dragon bane she could most likely defend herself. Reforge was not amused at the challenge, and knew from experience that Vidfnir was one not to underestimate, but then again, the last time, things didn’t go well for him. “Whatever. You seem to think that I care to fight fair.” With that said, Reforge raised his hand, turned, and released a crackling surge of energy from his fingertips, which was of course on a collision with the residential district of Brigum Ser. Just because he felt like it, as the blast travel, Reforge nodded to Gal’in, whom split the attack apart, and caused destruction across the town, several of the blasts still ready to crash and explode. The woman looked calm, but Gal’in wasn’t sure of her motives, so as Reforge drew his blade with a flick of his wrist, Gal’in launched a flurry of small orbs towards the woman, which as the dragon blinked, converged on a single spot………the woman’s. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() Level: EXP: | The Ba'al legend kept running through Cross's mind. Fulfillment of events keep occuring thus the legend was unraveling itself. What kind of power would you posess? What kind of destruction can you commit? What kind of fear can you place in people's hearts. These questions keep coming, was he afraid of the legend? Or is he becoming obsessed, full of greed? Deep thoughts crept into his mind, more and more questions coming within. He was now indeed dreadfully curious what this Ultra Rose can do, even now he is more tormented by this legend. Cross was standing near a waterfall, peacefully meditating and calming his mind. Gringlanar, Cross's most loyal friend and dragon slowly swam to Cross. This dragon was a small one, reaching no longer than four feet. He was also very slender and thin. He had beautiful white scales that could even make the darkest of hearts to change of heart. He had deep scarlet eyes that shined in the sun. Gringlanar had a wingspan of two feet. "Hey Cross, lets freeze this waterfall! I'm so bored..." whined Gringlanar. He had a child-like personality, being all goofy most of the time. "Alright, i'm feeling pretty bored too" said Cross. "Lets get into the form." Gringlanar rose up from the water and slowly floated to Cross and slowly wrapped himself around his neck. He mouth extended slowly biting onto his neck unharmfully. Gringlanar transformed into somewhat that looked like into a white scarf. Blue chakrams were summoned by Cross. Gringlanar, use your wings to absorb the water particles from the lake and make our power grow! said Cross through his mind. While in this syncronization, Cross and Gringlanar are abosolute as one and can communicate through their thoughts. Gringlanar's wings extended and they started to grow, representing the growth of their powers. Cross flew to the sky and the blue chakrams started to spin rapidly. A huge amount of energy was being created by the chakrams and a blue blast was fired. When the blast came in contact with the waterfall, the water immediately froze completely, turning into an amazing view of crystalized water. But then, an earthquake shook the ground, breaking the frozen waterfall into huge chunks of pieces. What was that? said Cross. I dont know, lets go find out, i can sense some power coming from Brigum Ser. replied Gringlanar. Gringlanar's wings instantly grew to have a wingspan of about thirty feet and they flew to the town. When they got there, Cross saw two unknown people fighting, one seemingly to have a powerful dragon. He landed in one of the dark alleys and Gringlanar absorbed the darkness. Cross silently hid in the shadows just watching the battle, any sense of their presense was invisible. |

| How long shall you delve into time? | “Whatever. You seem to think that I care to fight fair.” Vidofnir's eyes softened very slightly, but only for an instant. They returned to their icy glare a moment later. "Indeed, I do. You were once a better man, Reforge, but you have changed. Now I believe you are either insane or exist with a false perspective on life." Vidofnir opened up his palm, and in a flash of violet light, his blade Neocrepus materialized, and Vidofnir wrapped his hand around its intricate hilt. A slight purple aura trembled from its tip. Reforge's hand was raised, and as it was, energy formed within it, spitting and crackling in an unearthly manner. Vidofnir's senses were at top sensitivity as he took cover behind a tree. But his predictions were wrong, for Reforge turned and aimed his attack at the area of Brigum Ser where most people lived. Vidofnir dove out of his cover, shouting. But it was too late. The attack was made into several blasts, each of which wreaked havoc upon the town. As Reforge drew his weapon, Vidofnir prepared to make his move. With practiced focus, the atmosphere around him and Reforge was dimmed until it seemed like early nightfall. Vidofnir always fought better in the dark, for his eyes were more acquainted with it, not to mention that darkness was his field of expertise. After darkening the environment, Vidofnir was about to launch his first attack when he noticed the orbs of energy hurtling towards...him? No, towards the woman, which Vidofnir didn't care about. She was on her own. It is known by few that darkness can be manifested into harmful or helpful energy, or (with massive concentration) into solid objects. One of these few was Vidofnir, so you could very well guess what he did next. An orb of violet and black energy spiraled into existence upon each of Vidofnir's palms. The energy danced like fire, but in a slow, lazy kind of way. "Almost immediately after a person commits an act of treachery or destruction," Vidofnir said, "that person's heart accumulates clusters of a special type of dark energy into their hearts, regardless of who they are." Vidofnir's palms were abruptly pushed forward, and the two orbs were sent surging towards Reforge and Gal'in with alarming speed. The orbs split into several other comets of similar traits, but each with the same effect. "These orbs are attracted to such energy and will in turn obliterate you from the inside upon impact, causing you to implode," Vidofnir finished. Although the attack was deadly, he knew it was probably a trifle for Reforge. It was just a matter to see just how much Reforge had changed powerwise. |

| Taste the Kamehameha. | “I like how you think friend, but there always seem to be things that you either don’t about, or you assume.” Reforge was annoyed already that Vidofnir would try and prey upon his heart, but as long as he stayed focused this was all a mere ruse to him. With the area darkened, Reforge had just the environment to tamper with, and he shotinto the air, his wings opening, an his dragon partner following. Energy clustered all around his dragon, mostly because such a creature could change the alignment of its heart fairly easily, but that was not what saved the dragon, nor Reforge. It was the extreme purity of the energy that covered them, more than suffice to stop the attack attracted to the dark properties, and even if it wasn’t, the outwards expel from both Reforge and Gal’in overcame the attack. Looking back down towards the ground, Reforge handled his arm slowly, moving it up and then back down, a cannon forming from it. The open end of it was a bit wider than he usually liked to have it, but there was a purpose for this. As the energy that accumulated inside it flared out of control, it erupted into the sky, where in seconds, with varying thoughts from Reforge began raining down like small comet projectiles. These weren’t exactly aimed at his opponent, but were more than likely to fall around him, on him and the like. “Huh??oh that’ a nice sword.” Reforge looked to see that the scattered energy from his attack was still raining down, and decided to do one last thing before watching interested. He charged his cannon, and fired a medium sized orb of compacted forces that hurtled towards the ground. Upon impact, it was made to draw in the energy from the falling energy and detonate causing a massive blast, and Reforge had his blade drawn, looking towards Vidfnir… |

| wat | Athena was about to close her eyes to take one last nap again. That is, until she heard someone approche them. "You there, Dragonbane, What is your business here?" Athena looked around seeing if there was anybody else around but her. There was no one else though, maybe he was the person she was going to meet today? She spoke up. "I'm sorry if I'm disturbing you. I'm just a wanderer that stopped here for a place to rest from the days travels." But it seemed he didn't hear her, and it was probably because of the man that was flying towards him. She was about to say where she came from and what business she was doing until she saw a man fly down in front of them. “Well, I didn’t expect to see you here Vidofnir. I thought that you went into hiding after the last time you tried to stop me from getting the first part of the Ba’al Legend started.” "You're right. I did shroud myself into the shadows after that last incident, But not anymore, not after the fun you've had at Brigum Ser. I have no intention of letting you go uninjured, at the least." It seems as if the man that was talking to Vidofnir had business with him about the Ba'al Legend apparently. She figured she better get moving before she gets in the middle of this. Although she was curious on a talk about the Ba'al Legend. She started to move, but then noticed a small dragon looking up at her "Awww... Its so cute!" she cooed. The man that was seem to be called Vidofnir turned to her. "Fate smiles upon you, for you have gotten lucky. Run while you can, unless you wish to get disintegrated." "Disintegrated...? That doesn't sound good..." She mumbled to herself "Come on lets go Athena." Lliriloth stated firmly, not wanting to get Athena involved with the two men. "You may make the first move,That is, if you're up for it." “You say that as if you really think that talk means something to me.” “Whatever. You seem to think that I care to fight fair.” The man turned to his dragon. “I guess you know what comes next huh bud??” Athena was ready to run away when the man started gathering energy, but to her surprise he sent it at the city. Destroying what was left of the town and its survivors. Just as she was about to say something though, they started gathering more energy. Lliriloth knew what was coming. "Athena! Move!" Lliriloth yelled and proceeded to tug her out of the way with a light shield in front of them. Just as they dodged out of the way, it suddenly turned dark. "He must have darkness element... Looks like we have a bit of an advantage... but not much if he turns out to be stronger." Athena pulled out her bow. It looked like the only way out of here safely was to be on the defensive. She'd rather not attack them though... She didn't want to make dangerous enemy's right now. She looked up at the man and frowned. It looked like a massive attack was coming. She couldn't exactly see from the ground, but the energy he was manipulating flared out of control and started raining on the area. Lliriloth Fixed the problem by making a light shield around them from before. Once she was positive she was safe in the barrier, she looked up only to find she was to late to see that the man fired off the attack and was now rushing at the ground. "Aww crap! I have to do something or else this light barrier wont last long!" She yelled to Lliriloth. She aimed Artemis at the sphere of energy and and started to gather light from the sun and plants, turning that into an arrow like form. "Here goes nothing... " She let go of the tension that was gathering on the string and the arrow went cutting through the darkness. Rep Power: 3 ![]() Level: 15 EXP: | Jenifer was walking through the woods. She was going on a camping trip. Ever since she was little she always loved nature. She started learning nature magic, she was not that good though. She closed her eyes walking along the path feeling wind through her hair. Little did she know she was coming to a cliff. She stepped off the cliff and fell. "Whoa!" Jei=nifer yelled as she fell a dragon then came and appeared. An angel. The dragon saved her. Jenifer woke up from the dream she was having when she first met Angel. She got up and stretched. She could here the dragon huffing. It was early morning, she was a bit cold, but ok. She got up and walked pver to Angel. "Hey Angel, it's morning, my parents are expecting me back. We better get back before everyone wakes up as well." Jenifer whispered into the dragons ear. The dragon woke up and looked over at Jenifer. Jenifer backed up. Angel stood up shaking her head. "Ok, biy that was some sleep. I slept like a troll pretending to be a bear going in hibernation." Angel the dragon said to Jenifer. Jenifer laughed. "Yeah. I did to, now I'm up though it's actually kind of cold." Jenifer said. "Well yeah, we are at 220,000 above sea level." Angel said. It was true. Jenifer was lucky that Angel has taken her worst places so she was able to breathe. Angel stood up and layed her wings out so Jenifer could get on. "Yes that's true. Well I guess were going." Jenifer said. She climbed on the dragons back. She held on to Angel's neck. Angel flapped her wings. They were then airborn. She felw off around the mountain so fast. Jenifer was always amazed by this. No one could really see them and they were going so fast, but it look as if they weren't going so fast. Withing 20 minutes they reached the farm. Angel landed near the big red steal barn. The barn was real big. It was big enough to fit three dragons or 10,000 cattle. It was Angel's own special barn. Jenifer climbed off. Jenifer walked in. The barn was always ipen for dragons and other dragonbane people. Lot's of rooms fully furnished and room for dragons. Jenifer followed Angel in. Angel went over to the giant stack of dry grass hay and fresh hay. She layed down. Jenifer smiled and layed down next to her. She was still tired. |

| The Egotistical Bastard | A cold breeze blew over the surface of Lake Shoal as Tobias lay floating on the surface of the water like a leaf. Lake Shoal lay far to the east of any of the cities in Yureaty. It was sacred ground to Tobias for this was the lake he had met Levi at. It was so long ago though that this had happened that now their meeting was but a distant memory to the both of them. Tobias’ brilliant blue eyes opened slowly as he stared up at the clear blue skies. “Do you remember,” a voice boomed as it echoed gently across the lake. “Why do you ask,” Tobias asked. “It’s been so long since then,” the voice answered. “It has been a long time hasn’t it,” Tobias said pausing for a second. “But tell me something, do you regret meeting me Levi?” “My destiny lies with you I cannot regret meeting you,” the voice replied. “But what if you could have forged your own destiny? Would you have still wanted to meet me,” Tobias asked. Levi remained quiet for several seconds, as if contemplating on how to respond. Then without any warning Tobias felt the water beneath him move a bit as it shook violently. Suddenly a large creature that looked very much like a sea serpent flew up to the water’s surface and floated there like a duck. The creature turned as water continued to drip off of it and into the lake. “I would not have altered it no matter what, old friend,” Levi said. Tobias looked up at the massive creature and cracked a small smile. “Am I really that old,” Tobias asked jokingly. Tobias laughed as he floated adrift along the waters of the lake, though his laughter was soon cut short. A fairly tall man dressed in what appeared to be a warrior’s outfit stood at the edge of the lake waving his hands rather erratically. “It appears we are needed,” Levi said. “Yeah, damn it. The council can’t do a damn thing by itself unless all members are present. Sorry about this, but it looks like we’ll have to cut things short Levi,” Tobias said as he started to swim to shore at a steady pace. “It seems we shall,” Levi replied calmly as he started to swim as well towards the edge of the lake. |
