But Dawn's Rift seemed uncontrollable. Her emotions were running high and that was what perhaps led them to being so powerful. Her emotions being connected to her Rift ... it made sense now to her! She overwhelmed the guards with her Rift causing theirs to be useless. Her mind was made up. Dawn wouldn't go down to the ball. She was going to escape using her Rift no matter what, even if it meant pushing past a lot of people in the ball itself. Dawn was used to creating a scene anyway and her upbeat positive attitude would come in handy, especially since she was the captain of a top league netball team in the school league. But just as she was about to make her sudden and unplanned escape, she stopped and her Rift overwhelmed her as well. But the voice did not exist. No, the voice had disappeared. At least for now, anyway. In her eyes, there were many things being seen. Things of the past, the present and even the future. Dawn Turner was having premonitions.

Moments later, she breathed heavily by what she had seen. She rose to her feet and wiped the sweat off her forehead. So far, all she had made was destruction and devastation. When she rose to her feet and turned around, she was facing Tre. He spoke to her in the Rift language. Wait, since when was he able to do THAT? "Tre," she said in English. She could tell he had changed since they had last seen each other. The guard was on the floor knocked out cold. Immediately, her right arm began to glow orange and she readied it as if she was going to fight him. "Something's changed about you and I don't think it's good either," she said loudly enough, so that she could hear him. "You better leave now or else the guards WILL come running as soon as they hear anything going on. Come any closer to me and you'll wish I didn't save your life in the first place!" She was really serious about this; she didn't want anymore distractions in the way and certainly needed to get out of here quickly before the ball started ...

"Interesting.....I think we may be able to find out more about this rift. It includes sneaking around a dangerous place though. If we get caught, we may get killed. You up for it?" Sleif listened to Siri say, as she ate the food they were given.

"Of course! Anything that has to do with the rifts, I'll do ti get a better understanding!" Sleif said to Siri, as he began to eat the food, liking it immediately.

Siri smiled at Sleif as he taken a liking to the food. She then looked around with caution; she bought something, so it may have trigered her location. But on the other hand they may be looking for her off Thrae, or on Thrae, but far away form here, because the reason she went into a rift. As she ended her thought, she smiled again at Sleif, and continued to eat.

"Do i seem like a birden?" Siri asked Sleif as they walked on the sidewalk through the city. "You have this amazing power, and me i have nothing. What if we get into danger, i can't do anything but fight like a normal person." Siri went on, as she looked up, to look into Sleif's face. As Siri looked at Sleif, she noticed the building behind her. "That building.... I don't know how i know this but it's worth a try." Siri said in her head.

Tre let out a slight chuckle when he heard Dawn speak. "You're going to use your rift on me? Please....i've already mastered mine. You fight me and you'll wish you never saved me in the first place!" he said in rift to her. "But i'm not here to fight. That is, unless you don't cooperate. Tonight at the crowning ceremony, don't accept the crown, but rather, tell Aashiq you want to hand over your royalty to me. Yes that's right, make me king." His hands began to glow with dark orange rift. "If you don't cooperate, not only do you endanger your own life, but the lives of your 'people' as well!" He took a step closer to her and grabbed her chin tenderly. "Do we have an accord, sweetheart?" he said, in a kind way that was almost mocking.

Trinitad was at this time still at the wet bar drinking rum. One of the guards took the seat next to himand asked for a beer. He turned to Trinitad. "So," he asked, "fortunately invited hm?" Trinitad felt something in his gut but didn't look. His eyes stayed locked on the guard. "Methinks so," said Trinitad. He heard a little click and the thing he felt in his gut pushed further into it. He looked down and saw it was a revolver, a Raging Bull. Trinitad looked at the guard who he knew was smiling under his armor. "What do you want?" Trinitad asked him. The guard laughed aloud before answering Trinitad. "Blood..." At this, Trinitad jumped back just as the trigger was pulled. Screams were heard as both the guard and Trinitad took out their swords. "I tell ya, mate. One should never cross blades with a pirate," Trinitad said, smiling. "Hmph, we'll see about that," retorted the guard. And as the swords clinked and clanked, the only other sound that was heard was the sound of people screaming and running, trying to escape.

Tre had heard the screams from the ballroom, and he smiled as he let go of Dawn. He said, "Sounds like our dear friend Trinitad has been found. Tonight will be a night he won't soon forget. But of course, how can he remember it, when he'll be dead..." Tre laughed aloud as he turned his attention back to Dawn. "And it won't be a night ye'll forget either if ye don't cooperate with Cap'n Tre!"

"I don't know what my Rift or whatever thing it is really is inside of me, but you can bet on it that I'd kick your goddamn ass!" shouted Dawn in English. She wasn't still speaking in the Rift language. She didn't actually want to speak it because she didn't want anything to do with the Lost City. She wanted nothing more than to go home. "Why the hell should I do that? You're the one that should be grateful to ME that I saved YOUR life!" There was so much anger right now, even when she saw his hands glowing the the dark orange Rift. But then she thought of the people in the Lost City. It was true. Dawn didn't really know how to control her Rift at all. She had no control over her power. But instead, the power had control over her as well. Dawn felt afraid when he grabbed her chin. For once, she felt powerless. She didn't reply straight away because she heard something going on downstairs involving Trinitad. She felt relieved when he let her go. Trinitad couldn't die ... she wouldn't let it. She had to do something!

Captain Tre? You bleeding wish, thought Dawn. But the offer did tempt her, however. She wanted nothing more than to go home and if she had to do that alone, then she would. She would hurry home if she had to. She'd do it on her own! But then something else struck her. Dawn had been longed to be accepted in someone's eyes, other than her parents. Aashiq and the others accepted her as their queen. She was split into two. Her heart wanted to stay, but her mind wanted her to go. For now, however, it looked like she was going to have to be following Tre's orders until she could find out what she could do. "Fine!" she spat in his face. "I'll do whatever the hell you want! But ... if something happens to me tonight and I can't control my Rift, then don't tell me I didn't warn you!" She shoved past him and then went to a large room, which she supposed was her room. She kicked the wall and punched the wall. Her Rift was growing too out of control. It was overwhelming her, as she slid down the wall and cried.

[Ralor Penwat]

Ralor was on his way to school same as always when he saw a shortcut he had never seen before. He decided to take it because he could see the school from there. The school day went by as usual. But it was after school his life changed forever...

On his way back to the orphanage down the same shortcut he saw a new shortcut he didn't see this morning he could see the orphanage and went down it. But it was not the orphanage he saw. Ralor saw the lab of Professor Patrick Evans. It was a simple mistake as the two were built at the same time by the same person with the same design. He entered the building and instantly knew he had made a mistake.

After both Sleif and Siri had finished eating their food, they proceeded to leave the restaurant, and to walk down the streets of this new city, world.
Even with his height, Sleif still strained his neck, trying to see the full heights of some of the buildings, before he heard Siri talking to him.

"Do i seem like a burden?" Siri asked Sleif as they walked on the sidewalk through the city. "No! I don't think you are!" Sleif replied to Siri, a little surprised that she didn't think he was the one who was a burden. "You have this amazing power, and me i have nothing. What if we get into danger, i can't do anything but fight like a normal person." said Siri.

"I don't know what to say, but I'm sure you are more then just normal!" Sleif replied to Siri, just as he noticed her looking at a building.
"Is something the matter?" asked Sleif, knowing something was strange about the building, without even having to be told.

"This building, it's familiar....." Siri replied as she stared at its wall and walked off the sidewalk into the alley way.

~A mechanical device was shown, as a hand was placed on top of it.~

"What?" Siri asked as she saw the vision in her head. "Memory? But i never been here before." Siri said as she placed her right hand against the wall, and brushed it against the wall as she walked forward. She stopped and placed her hand firmly on the wall, right then, light emerged from the wall. A mechanical device appeared, as if it was a hollogram. There was a place to lay your hand on, just as Siri was going to put her hand on it, she stopped. "They will know where i am..." Siri said as she gazed at the device. She started to take it apart and put some wires together, so it can be activated without revealing her location. Just as she put the last wires together, light shinned again, revealing a door. Siri looked back at Sleif, "it's a secret escape door more then it's an entrance." She said, as she walked through the door, but instead of reaching the other side, they came into another room. "Teleportation..." Siri explained. She then looked at Sleif again. "I don't know how i know this. It just comes to me, like i've done it before, but i know i haven't. It's like i have inplanted memories. Now i got an answer, but even more questions."

Tre quietly left the throne room and returned to the ballroom to be greeted by the sight of Trinitad on his back with a sword to his neck. Tre smiled as he turned and walked over to the wet bar. Trinitad quickly rolled and got up, clanking his sword with the guards. He reared back and slashed across, sending the guard's sword flying to another part of the ballroom. He put his sword up to the guards neck and said, "I told you once you bilge rat. Never cross blades with a pirate." It was then that a gunshot was heard roaring through the ballroom. Aashiq held a smoking pistol, and Trintad's back held the smoking bullet. Trinitad's mouth opened, and a small dribble of blood began to trickle out. He dropped his sword and fell to the ground as two guards came and carried him out to another part of the palace.

Aashiq slowly opened the door to Dawn's room and saw the young girl crying against the wall. "Your majesty, its time for the crowning ceremony. The party crasher has been killed so we can begin. Hurry up and get downstairs," he told her. He smiled as he shut the door and walked outside. Everything was happening according to plan. He looked at his watch. 5: 50. Ten minutes to sundown. Daiod would stab whoever was wearing that crown at the ceremony and then the real fun could begin. The sun would set, and the 12 demensions would scream and cry from the wrath of the Lost City.

"This building, it's familiar...." said Siri, as both her and Sleif approached the large building. "What? Memory? But i never been here before." Siri said just before she followed the wall along the building, before a mechanical device appeared in front of the two.

"They will know where i am..." Siri said as she gazed at the device. Sleif simply stood there, a little shocked as he watched Siri take apart the device right in front of them. Just as she put the last wires together, another light shinned again, revealing a door, before Siri looked back at Sleif.

"It's a secret escape door more then it's an entrance." She said, as she and Sleif walked through the door, but instead of reaching the other side, they came into another room. "Teleportation..." Siri explained as she turned towards Sleif. "I don't know how i know this. It just comes to me, like i've done it before, but i know i haven't. It's like i have implanted memories. Now i got an answer, but even more questions." said Siri.

"I'm sure you'll find out soon enough! I hope to remember what I've forgotten as well!" Sleif said, before he started to walk ahead. "So, what do you think this place is?" Sleif asked Siri.

"These machines look similar to the ones that were in the lab that i woke up in. We must be in the right place." Siri told Sleif. "I don't have anything coming to my mind about this room. We're gonna have to wing it for right now." Siri said as she looked around, and sat in front of a computer; much like the others, that had a transparent screen. "I'll see if i can find out anything on here." Siri told Sleif as she kept her eyes in the computer.

Dawn slightly ignored Aashiq. She couldn't care less about the crowning ceremony. No, she had to find a way out of this! Perhaps giving Tre the crown was the only solution available to her right now. A party crasher had been killed ... but who was that? The sun would go down in ten minutes. She straightened herself up knowing that giving up the throne to Tre was the only solution that she had. So she rose to her feet and then looked at the Lost City for one last time through the window. Her Rift was growing out of control. Her emotions were running high. She felt like she was going to literally explode. Dawn got herself ready and looked at everyone in the room downstairs curiously. So they were here to see her crowning. Well, they had another thing coming because she wouldn't be the one to wear the crown. Tre would be. "I'm ready to get this over with," she muttered, and then she saw Tre in the distance. She hoped he'd see her, especially since she was going to tell him she agreed to giving up the crown to him.

OOC: That's all I can do for now, I might be back tomorrow with another post. But I can't guarantee anything right now. I'll be back properly from Thursday.

Aashiq smiled as he saw Dawn appear into the ballroom. He turned to his audience. "Ladies! Gentlemen! I give you, the long-lost, the one that was searched for and never found, the queen of the Lost City herself, Her Royal Highness, Queen Dawn Turner." The crowd broke out into applause as they gazed upon the young girl. Aashiq snapped his fingers and an Adham in a gold cloak came to him, carrying the most elegant crown anyone in that room had ever seen. Aashiq looked at Dawn as he lifted the crown from the Adham's hands. He raised it up for everyone to see, and the crowd roared more. Then he held up his hand, and they were silenced. He walked up to Dawn and looked her in the eye, raising the crown. All the fun begins as soon as this crown touches her head, he thought. He looked around to see if Daiod was in the room. He was, and Aashiq knew he had the knife with him. He slowly lowered the crown. Tre looked at Dawn and nodded slowly, as if saying "You know what to do..."

After bowing, Daiod was struck hard by the whip. Aashiq suddenly says “Tonight is the night we have been waiting for. The one night that our queen would return to us. Or so she thinks. But yet she is unsuspecting of the real reason we brought her. Now i will tell you, but to see to the fact that you tell no one..." Aashiq placed his hand over Daiod’s mouth. A blue rift went in and out of Daiod’s mouth, disabling his ability to speak .It was most likely to be a safe precaution. . "I have taken away your ability to speak. You are my worthless pawn, and you are to tell no one about this. There is another thing." Aashiq gave the boy a watch. But this watch was different, as it only had 10 numbers on it, and one hand. "Once this watch strikes 0 you will die, unless you do exactly as i say. Tonight will be the crowning ceremony of her majesty. You will attend, casually. Once the crown is placed upon her head and she becomes queen, the sun will set and so begins a new era. Once that crown is placed neatly on her little head..." Daiod was
Handed a knife and he knew what he had to do, kill Dawn or allow himself to be killed.

Before leaving, Daiod was hit by the whip five times. Also, Aashiq said "...well, i think you understand. You will strike her dead before that sun is completely under the horizon. No later, and no earlier than when she is queen. That watch, it absorbs the rift from a nearby corpse. And it will continue to tick every so often until sunset." Daiod left his cell and headed to the ballroom. It was about time as soon as he arrived. Aashiq arrived and was about to place the crown on Dawn’s head. It was the time of reckoning. Daiod walked towards Dawn and time felt like it slowed down. All you hear is the heart beats of the people attending the ball and the gust of wind outside. Daiod then dashes toward Dawn and takes out the knife. He extends it and is one inch away from her throat. Then he………………………………..
