Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() | The Prisoner smiled wearily. It was time for his lunch. The guards had come with a picnic basket and their swords bared. He shook his head and stood from the plain bed he was sitting on. It matched the plain room. There was a plain wooden chair and plain barred windows. The floor and walls were stone. It was a small hut of stone that he had spent the last year in and he knew every crack in every wall. As he stepped into the sun surrounded by at least five guards he squinted. He had been sleeping before the guards had woken him. . . . . He didn't let it bother him. Not anymore. He remembered the first few weeks. The weeks he had killed more armed men than some small wars. He had even killed some of the Apprentices at the time. But then he got the message. He would get out of here eventually. And he didn't want to let his anger make the time he was going to have to spend there any more unpleasent. . . He nodded at the guard and took a seat at a small stone table. The Twines were less excited this time around as they entered the Academy. Andrea never let her memories of her awe at the first sight of the Academy. Antony was a bit different. He remembered his exicitement every time they opened the front gates. Andrea gave him a look and he settled down a bit. He didn't like being suppressed by her sister but he had to admit. She was right as usual. The Academy was a much more competitive place then it was before. He didn't need to attract attention even if the average student would have problems against their combined powers. ((DO NOT JOIN HERE THERE IS A SIGN-UP THREAD!!)) The Rp has in fact commenced. |

| Banned | A girl walked along the side of a street, not really contemplating much, but thinking some about the place she was going to for lunch. She was meeting a prisoner for lunch, in fact, in a nice little courtyard. Victoria had been visiting him for a while now, and was accustomed to the way of getting there, and knew the path nearly by heart. The sky was blue overhead, and dotted with white and gray clouds. Quite the pleasant aftertoon, in Victoria's opinion. Birds chirped happily enough, and children played in the yards of their homes. But to Victoria, they were simply oblivious to the world, and thus was the cause for their happiness. Nothing more, and nothing less. She turned into the stone pathway leading to the courtyard where she was meeting the aformentioned prisoner. Victoria could see him then, sitting at a stone table then, and walked towards the table and the prisoner. |

| In Germany, Cats Say "Miau" | Cuno opened his eyes, and saw the ceiling. That same damn ceiling he had woken up to since he was 5. Cuno wasn’t completely sure what it was about the ceiling that made him so mad. Just the way it looked, taunting him, laughing at him. Although, Cuno also didn't know what the ceiling was laughing about, but he just knew it was. Cuno shook his head, he always had the weirdest thoughts when he woke up. Regardless, he did his customary morning ritual and threw a chunck of iron he kept by his bed at the ceiling. The iron hit the ceiling with a sharp clink, and then feel to the ground. "Still looks the same, damn." he sighed as he grabbed his robes and walked over to the showers. Besides the other Apprentices who lived here yearly, the showers were empty. Cuno looked at the nearly empty room, and sighed. Tomorrow, it would be full of Newbie’s, all with their own similar, stupid questions. "Do we really have to get naked? I heard Cynthia Doraval was a witch, is it true?" and Cuno's personal favorite. "Is there a way to peek into the girl's showers?" Of course there was, down it the very back of the stalls, made by some kid from a while ago. Most kids were too bashful, or embarrassed to look though. Cuno had looked through it once, purely for curiosity, but there hadn't been anything real interesting to see considering there were no showers near the hole. A real determined boy might see a flash of something, only to question exactly what he had seen. As he showered, Cuno looked into a nearby mirror. In the reflection he saw a scrawny, bald, naked kid with a necklace on. "Wow, you're a real impressive sight Cuno, you must drive the girls wild." he thought bitterly to himself. He didn't really care about his physical appearance, he had surpassed such worries long ago, although he had his weaker moments. Clean and ready to learn, he stepped outside to the fresh air. The sun was shining and there were birds chirping in the trees as they inspected the new arrivals. "How clichéd." Cuno thought as he himself took a good look at the visitors. He knew virtually none of them, except a few who had shown great skill in the past. Of this group, he saw the one person he was looking for. Andrea Twine, the one student in the Academy he could stand, also the only one he didn't look down upon. He smiled slightly, this was looking to another interesting year. | some sort of Christian magic | Laurence sat outside the Academy. He wouldn't go in yet, he was still writing. His pen was old and faded, like the half a dozen others in his pocket. He wasn't how he would finish this, but it was pretty good so far. He could always ask Fio. Her opinion was valuable, if she presented it, which she didn't. He closed the notebook. It was blue, like it mattered. He watched the other Apprentices walking in. He put both pens into his pockets and went inside. |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() | The prisoner smiled a bit. The girl was coming. She had been talking to him since the last half of the previous year at the Academy. She had taken what most of the instructors considered and unhealthy interest in him. Which was not a bad thing. He enjoyed having someone to talk to. The guards that allowed him to speak were all rather dim-witted to be honest and he enjoyed talking to at least a marginally intelligent person. What he was surprised at was how interested she was in the Forbidden Arts that he had been locked up for. It wasn't as if she was asking him to teach her and he had, in fact, declined to tell her of what Art he used. But she asked a lot of questions, he was usually glad to give answers. He finally called out. "Good to see you again." Andrea looked up at Cuno. He had made a disturbing habit of talking to her last year. Not a lot. Just enough that it was a large nuisance. He was weaker than she was. And he seemed to lack a certain amount of self-confidence. Antony liked him. But he like most people. The guy wasn't to fond of Antony but he often found himself discouraged by his sisters declination to talking to him. People would be less scared of her if she would just make an effort to be a little less scary. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Travis wakes up tired and annoyed. "Not another day of work and study" Travis sighed. "Well time to make the best of this day more pranking and finding another girl talk to" Travis muttered as he put on his clothes and headed for class. When Travis reached class he noticed a couple students outside. Cuno the weakest looking and skinny kid that Travis liked to picked on some days for no reason was in the front of Andrea. "Well good morning" Travis said as he eyed down Cuno. Travis walked over to Andrea and Anthony. "Wassup guys anything new today" Travis said as he begin to throw paper balls that were made of his hw at Cuno. |

| In Germany, Cats Say "Miau" | Cuno yawned as Travis did his usual "I think I'm better then you, so I'm going to make you look stupid." routine. Honestly, that kind of thing bothered him 4 years ago, but it got old and it was easy to see the obvious solution. Ignore him, and don't react. Cuno knew this drove guy's like Travis insane, and truly enjoyed it. Cuno saw Travis talk to Andrea, and rolled his eyes. "As usual, obvious. He thinks I like Andrea, therefore he chooses to embarrass me in front of her thinking it'll anger me." Cuno thought. Actually, Cuno didn't really have a crush, or anything stupid like that, on Andrea. He simply respected her, she was a strong, female fighter. And she acted nothing like the other giggly, annoying girls around the Academy. Secretly, Cuno saw Andrea as the only person who was anything similar to being like himself. At that thought, he left Travis to his moronic games, and walked toward the classroom of Mistress Dorval. |

| Banned | Victoria managed a slight smile as she sat down across the table from the prisoner. "Nice to see you too," she said to him. Victoria had near perfectly white teeth, or so she had been told, though she chose to smile very rarely. It was, in fact, a very sweet smile, coveted by some of the boys at the Academy; yet they were left lacking one of Victoria's smiles in the end. She had always been a fairly popular girl at the Academy, mostly for her natural beauty and natural talents, though she paid little attention to such things as that. What did it matter, anyway? Such things would be forgotten and put aside five years from each day she lived. Might as well concentrate on more important things, after all. "Beautiful day, isn't it?" Victoria said in her voice that was very lightly and nearly unnoticeably graced with an England accent, glancing away for a moment at the colors of nature, quite contradicting to the stone table she and her prisoner companion currently sat at. |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() | The prisoner smiled. He had never been much for pleasantries. He had always liked to get to the point. . .though there was no point right then he supposed. "It's really very much like any other day. . ." he said looking at the clouds in the sky and the grass and the trees. He had never been much of one for nature. He proffered the city life. Not that he had much of a choice anymore. "How do you feel returning to the Academy?" he always took an interest in her training. No matter how things turned out it was always wise to know the skill of those around you. And as far as he could tell the girl was very skilled. "Only you. . . ." she said betraying little emotion, though with enough experience it would've been possible to decipher that she was slightly irritated. Antony had a lot of experience. "Pity too. . . .it was such a nice day. . ." Andrea brushed the two boys aside and Antony waved sheepishly. Normally he would have been more excited to see fellow students but he didn't like either of them much more than his sister did and it was a bit embarrassing how she had brushed them off. So he settled with the wave. It would have to be enough he supposed. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Travis smirked as he watched Andrea brush him off and give Antony a fake wave. "I dont like those twins" Travish muttered under his breath Those twins and that Cuno fellow. I cant stand none of them but toying with them should be fun. There all just pawns in my little plan. Travis slowly walked to class saying hi to everyone who acknowledged him and with him being one of the most popular boys in school it was alot. When he reaches class he jumps on the chair in the back of the class and listened to some music as he waited for the teacher and other students to arrive. Another boring day. Another boring lecture. If this didnt teach me how to become stronger i wouldnt even be here. Once im done learning what i need to im off to do my own thing. |

| Ruler of Light | Sakura was in her room, unpacking all her stuff. Looking around, she was pretty satisfied with the size of the room. The room was lighted by the sunlight shining from the window and she enjoyed these times. She decided to take a break from cleaning everything and decided to look around the school, and hopefully make some new friends. As she was walking around, she saw many students who were bringing in their luggage and some who were just getting to know everyone. She was surprised that so many people were attending this school to become Artisans. "Wow, this is a pretty nice school. I wonder what kind of students I'll be meeting," she thought to herself, as she continued to walk around the school. |

| Banned | Victoria thought about the question for a moment before answering. "I suppose," she said after those few moments had passed. "It's like most any other year. Though my instructor, Jeanna Cline, seems like she could do me some good in my training. I had Mistress Dorval in previous years, you know, but I was reassigned this year. Whatever for, I'm not sure. But I'm supposing Cynthia Dorval had taught me most of what she could teach me, according to the bits and pieces I heard about the matter." Victoria thought for a second about her next comment before saying it. She had a right mind about her, and usually knew when to say something and when not to. But ... "My power had developed quite nicely over the summer," she said. "In my eyes, it's improving more and more each day." She gave a slightly tired and half-hearted smile. Victoria hadn't gotten much sleep last night, and it had effected her some, though not by much. Sometimes she had troubles sleeping; it wasn't anything new. |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() | "Dorval huh?" he said with a reminiscent smile "She always was very. . .strict. . . ." he could have thought of hundreds of things to call her that would have fit much better. But all the outward agression would have put quite a bit of a damper on the whole lunch and he really didn't want that. He smiled at one of the guards as if to let him know that he wasn't going to try anything. "I'm a bit surprised at you to be honest, I'd have thought you would have returned to your old questions by now. I guess you've matured though." not answering her questions about what he'd done was his little game that he liked to play. That was how it worked. |

| In Germany, Cats Say "Miau" | Cuno walked toward Mistress Dorval's class with a smile. Despite her irritatng nagging, Cuno had always liked her. The other teachers treated him with pity because of his parents. They also felt sorry for him because of his low level of popularity at the Academy. But the Mistress... she treated him like all the other students. No, she was harder on him then most other students. He had hated her for that 4 years ago, but now he realized that he needed to be driven harder then the others. It was part of his road. The road to greatness. When he reached the classroom, he found the door was locked. Cuno sighed, why was she always late? Cuno sat down next to the door, and took his meditating pose. "Might as well be prepared." he said quietly to himself. Then, Cuno emptied his mind, chasing away all thoughts and worries. Only Misstress Dorval would be able to wake him up in this state. The last sensible thought in Cuno's head were of Andrea, and her ability to awaken one's deepest fears. Last edited by Ningacom; 02/18/08 at 04:22 AM. |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() | Andrea walked forward toward Mistress Dorval's class. She paid little attention to the other Apprentices. It wasn't hard for her to forget that others had feelings. He remembered being roped into Mistress Dorvals class in the first place. She had told him that they would fight better as a team if they trained together. So he was stuck with the old woman that. . .well she wasn't nice and she believed in disipline. |
