Like Something Out Of A Fairytale (Original Rp)

Once upon a time, there was a young writer. Writing was her passion, and with every story she wrote, she could feel her heart swell with happiness. Her stories brought happiness to the people, and in turn to herself. All of her stories ended in happy endings, as that was her motto that all stories should end happily, no matter what conflict arose.

One day, the writer fell in love with a boy. He too, had feelings for her. But soon, he became envious of the happiness she wrote for others, as she had never wrote any happiness for him. His jealousy and hatred took the form of a strange creature with no heart and grostique wings, like that of a bird, one that feasted on the hearts of people to manipulate. He soon died, never once telling her of his jealousy.

The creature, however, lived on. It came upon the writer and possessed her, slowly devouring her heart so that the creature could fulfill the wishes of its creator. The writer became a different person. She began to write tragedies instead. There were no happy endings anymore in her stories. Love was a thing of the past. She was unable to fight back against the darkness that had entered her heart, trapped forever in her own mind of mirrors with all the stories she had written, happy and sad, wondering where it all went wrong.

As the possessed writer had begun a new story, she put a little of her own story-spinning powers into it. She willed the story to become reality, in the hopes that the characters themselves could write their own happy ending, unknowningly putting herself into the story as well, just as a different person. But she never counted on the creature's interference to make the story into a tragedy. Who was going to win this battle of wills, the writer or the darkness?

The writer paused for a moment, her strange yellow eyes never once leaving the page. After a moment, she lowered her pen back down onto the paper:

Once upon a time, there was a little town called Shiro town. All kinds of people lived in this little town out of your typical fairytale: princes, princesses, animals that were part human, and the element of magic in the air. There was all kinds of places, like diners, stores, theaters...but those are not where this story takes place. No, this story takes place at a school in the town. It was a school of magic, for those who wished to use it or those who fought in the way of the sword.

Now we introduce our main characters...

Here is how it works. The character you create has to fall under one of the following types-

A. Someone who is fated to die protecting the one they care about the most. But their death will end up being in vain, as the one they care about will either die as well or reveal that they didn't care about the knight.
B. Someone who cannot speak, and can only show what they mean through an interpretive art of their choice (dancing, drawing, music...)
C. Someone who is part animal and is cursed to turn into that animal at random times(cat, dog, rat, etc.) They can also communicate with animals too.
D. Someone with no emotions: they can't feel happiness, sadness, fear, hatred, anger, love, etc.
E. Someone who can communicate with spirits, and yet no one can see or hear them, as if they themselves are dead.
F. Someone who can control the elements (wind, water, fire, and earth), yet they don't have a very good amount of control over this, so people are afraid of them. They can affect the weather with their mood.
G. Someone who can see into the future, but they are cursed with insomnia so that they can never sleep.
H. Someone who is cursed by a witch and turns into a horrible beast whenever they are most angry (vampire, werewolf, etc.)
I. Someone with no memory of who they really are, yet they are actually of royalty. (Like a princess or prince but they don't know that)
J. Someone who has a cold heart and does nothing but bring pain to others, but is secretly in pain themselves due to something from their past.

Rules
Your character MUST fall under only ONE of the criteria listed above.
Romance and swearing is PG13
No Godmodding or Powerplaying

And don't make them really long paragraph sentences, just a few short sentences that define your character so that you have your own unique flair to it. When the rp starts, the "writer" will put her own spin onto your character, to give you a bit of sometype of fairytale/tragic background. For example, if you had chosen letter I, you could put "Family died in a fire. Woke up with no memory intact near a lake. When he gets parts of his memory back, he thinks that he started the fire, when he really didn't"

Now, my character is the writer. So I'll be dropping in enemies and stuff for you guys to battle and such and the goal of the story is to be able to lift your characters curse and stop the writer from turning your story into a tragedy, and instead turn it into a happy ending.

Bio: Raven has studied many different arts of magic all of his life as well as the samurai style of sword fighting. He has never understood the concept of emotion. He has never had a real friend, for people see him as strange. His parents never really noticed him and cared very little about him.

Personality: Kyosuke is a very quiet person who never likes to talk a lot. He isn’t very trusting of people and doesn’t let his guard down to easily. Despite all these things, Kyosuke has a very soft heart and a strong sense of justice that at times takes over him making him reckless.

Bio: Kyosuke was born to a normal family. He discovered in early childhood that he had the power to control elements. His family found out about this odd power and shunned him from existence without offering a proper reason. His childhood lies in a state of neglect. He then left his family to see the world.

Personality: Zieth is a kind hearted person. He will fight others fight if if helps them and keeps them safe. He doesn't like to see people get hurt, so he tries his hardest to protect every one around him. As Zieth protects the weaker people, he rufuses to hurt the ones that intiate the fight. He will take a hit for just about anyone as long as nobody gets hurt.

Bio: Zieth always came home covered in bruises and scars. He would always lie to his parents telling him he fell, even though truth be told he was helping the kids that needed him. He would stop any fight long enough for the kids to get away as he stood and took every blow thrown at him. He nevered worried about himself and he never fell in the fights. Zieth would help any kid younger or older then him if there was a fight, he didn't let anyone get hurt except himself.

Appearance: Laye is little for her age. Her long hair is coloured a very light grey with some black lines trough it, she usually binds it together. She’s slightly pale. Her eyes are violet. She wears the same dark grey dress all the time. As a mouse her fur is coloured the same as her hair.

Personality: Laye is very shy, and she tends to hide away when there’s trouble coming. She never had many friends, so to her it’s hard to make them. She likes to spend a lot of time in the library, because a long time books were her only friends. She can’t stay angry for longer than an hour. After that, she sees the realistic/funny side.

Type: C

Bio: When Laye was born, a shadow darkened the room, and suddenly her mother was holding a little mouse, which turned back in a baby that same second. The mother kept it a secret and decided to keep the girl inside so no one would notice. Laye lived her live that way, never knowing of the gift that came with her curse. At age of thirteen, her mother died.

Appearence: Tykin never bothers to brush her shoulder length raven black hair, so it is always in a mess. Likewise, she rarely cares for what he wears. Whatever is comfortable is fine, but usually she picks blue shorts, a white shirt, and a jean jacket.
Personality: Tyka always seems so distant from everyone, but its really only an attempt to rid herself of stress. Stress only causes her to be angry, which turns her into a real beast. Other times, Tyka's intentions are always innocent. She'd give anyone help so long as no one knows she did it.
Type: H
Bio: Tyka is always changing schools due to her "problem". Her parents gave her away after making her angry once. Her foster father does not know of her condition. She keeps herself away from hers as to try to control it, but somehow it always manage to get out.

Personality: A smart kid who is held back by his muteness, he is a kind, compassionite friend without a purpose. Oni carries a notebook which he draws in and writes his personal thoughts, and writes words to communicate with others. He feels like he needs to be out in the world drawing the different kinds of creatures that the world has to offer. He has a great responibilty being the prince and to- be king of a small town.

A few years later his parents were killed by a group of bandits and he was greatly injured, he was discovered by a king and his knights, the king offered him food and shelter. Oni acceped and spends his time looking out side his room and skeching the village outside, he wats to explore the world one day. He carries his notebook wherever he goes.

Oni carries a notebook which he draws in and writes his personal thoughts, and writes words to communicate with others. He feels like he needs to be out in the world drawing the different kinds of creatures that the world has to offer. He has a great responibilty being the prince and to- be king of a small town. Type: B Bio: His parents realised Oni was a mute at the age of 7 when he coulden't speak. They sent him to a doctor to try and heal his voice, but nothing worked. A few years later his parents were killed by a group of bandits and he was greatly injured, he was discovered by a king and his knights, the king offered him food and shelter. Oni stayed in the king's castle until he was 15, one day the king approached him and asked him to be the prince of the kingdom for he had no son. Oni acceped and spends his time looking out side his room and skeching the village outside, he wats to explore the world one day. He carries his notebook wherever he goes.
