Jin down at stared at Serenity and the man she was with in the distance, quickly realizing that Serenity was in trouble. So then if that assassin earlier wasn’t just lying to me that guy down there with Serenity must be the boss. Jin thought as he remained still, unsure of if either of them had noticed his presence. He quickly took a glance around knowing that there was another person here besides them three but for some reason he seemed unable to figure out where exactly she was. Jin looked back down at Serenity and her boss while slowly moved his hand towards the hilt of his katana, as one part of him wanted to run in and help Serenity despite knowing he had no part in the fight and right now it would only be reckless of him to run in as he knew chance were that he might only end up hurting Serenity in this situation. This is her fight and right now the best thing for her is to settle things herself with this man…I have no right to interfere unless things truly end up looking bad on her part. Jin thought as he gritted his teeth, unable to hear what the two were talking about and so could only continue to watching the confrontation between Serenity and her boss. “Damn, I guess I’ll really have to settle this battle for her.” Jin said underneath his breath as he grabbed onto the hilt of his katana and started to make his way towards the boss in order to prevent what he felt would only be a lose for Serenity, if he didn’t come in to end it with one swift strike. But just as quickly Jin appeared behind the boss to slash him suddenly from behind, the man vanished in a strange dark cloud. Now there’s no doubt about it she was definitely here working along with him, but why? Jin wondered as he knew for a fact that the powers the man vanished with couldn’t belong to anyone else except for that woman. “Serenity are you alright?” Jin asked as knelled down next to Serenity in order to get a better look at her. “Hey whatever you do, please don’t go passing out on me.” Jin said before starting to pick Serenity up, a bit unsure of what exactly he could do for as first aid wasn’t exactly one of his specialties and considering the fact he was just wondering around Mesdina he wouldn’t know the first place to go for medical help. “That’s right I remember there was an inn back in town maybe I could find some help there.” Jin said out loud as he held onto Serenity as large dark shadow had suddenly appeared underneath them, in order to teleport them in front of the inn.

Serenity looked up at Jin as he approached her and she reached out for him. She took his arm as he summoned his darkness and teleported them to the inn. "I tried to stop him, I was close except for that woman. She wanted to know where you were and why I talked to you. She was using Jason to get the information." She said, looking back at the inn and she began to close her eyes. "I will be ok, its just a phase that this kind of poison goes through. I-I am just sleepy." She said, yawning even though it wasn't just a phase, it was the drug he gave her, not a poison. She had a migraine and her heartbeat was slower than her average pulse. She opened her eyes a few minutes later and smiled at Jin who actually cared, maybe. "Why did you come for me? I thought we seperated... How did you find me? I am glad you did though, I was thinking about you." She said with a short laugh and looked up at him. She slowly fell forward until her head rested on his chest and she closed her eyes, not worrying about what was to come.

"Serenity..." A voice yelled out to her and Jason came to her mind. "I have a target for you... He can be found on the outskirts of Mesdina and the dark kingdom. He is a trained assassin so you have to be quick and stealthy." He said to her as she grabbed the folder from him and shook her head. "Jason, this is my last mission. I told you last time I wanted nothing to do with this!" She said, walking out of the office and torwards the entrance to the city. "Serenity..." Jason yelled once again and she turned to see her bag in his hand. She ran back to him and grabbed her bag but he didn't let it go until he kissed her on the cheek. "Goodbye..." He said and she just walked away quickly. When she reached the small forest outside of Mesdina, she climbed a tree and skimmed through the pages of papers. "Hmmm... I will start here and watch him until he is a day away from Mesdina then I will take him out.." She muttered to herself and nodded as she jumped down from the tree. She slung her backpack around her shoulder and began to walk towards the area she had pointed out on her papers.

Albel headed toward the direction of the voice, bumping inot random people as he walked through, not seeming to notice the contact he was making with them. Just as it seemed he was not too far away from Serenity's location, her voice suddenly vanished. This caused him to panic a bit, and he rushed through the crowds, barrelling through anyone that got in his way.

"Move it, coming through, trying to find a girl here!" Many of the citizens were outraged at the man's actions, but he could care less right now. Seeing a friendly face was the only thing that would cheer him up right now, and it sounded like that friendly face was in trouble! He rushed through the crowds as fast as he could, trying to catch any glimpse of...

That's when he saw her. Just before completely passing a street, he heard Serenity's voice coming from it. Quickly, he turned around, and dashed down the empty road, until he could see the girl off in the distance. From what he could tell, she seemed to be exhausted, and was being held up by another man. Albel didn't recognize him, but that didn't matter. He didn't seem to be hostile. Thinking of nothing else but to make himself known to them, he shouted out her name.

"Serenity! Hey Serenity, over here!" He started waving, hoping to get their attention. Just as he was calling out to them though, they had vanished. Albel cut his shouts short. He was absolutely shocked at what had just happened. Sure, he himself could travel between the Twilight Zone and the real world, but he wasn't quite expecting her to disappear into thin air at that moment. He ran over to the area which they stood in not but a few seconds ago, hoping that they were just playing a trick on him, and had only teleported onto a nearby balcony to watch his stupidity. This time though, that wasn't the case.

He reached their former position, and stood there for a long while, hoping to hear something, anything. Not a sound was heard though, except for the hustle and bustle in the rest of the town. This little event had caused Albel to become even more saddened, adding to the depression he was already experiencing. "Dammit... just when I'm about to find someone I know..."

A number of curses rolled from his tongue, which releived him of some stress that seemed to have been building up inside of him. It didn't help a whole lot though. Now, he only hoped that they had not gone far. He hoped he would coincidentally bump into them, say hello to his old friend, and be introduced to the man she was with. That was highly doubtful though... a man could hope though, couldn't he?

OOC: GoD... you are a good writer, but could you possibly space out your paragraphs to make your writing easier to read? That would be much appreciated =P :OOC

Forget my other post......I was waiting on a response from Dark Heart 2 but I guess he didn't see it. So here goes another.


Destiny sat in the darkness of her room. A candle flickered steadily making small shadows on the wall. Destiny was trying to think about all the things in her life. Stallon haunted her, he was in her head. Of course, that's what he wanted. He wanted to make her believe that she was the reason her sister died after all. She did blame herself but chose not to let it go to heart. She needed to get out of her house, she decided to go out into the town. Destiny put her cover over her arms and went outside.

Destiny walked down the crowded streets, she walked towards the inn to see what was new. As she got closer she saw people surrounding something or someone. As she got to the circle, she saw that Serenity was on the ground and some random man was holding her. "Serenity!", she pushed her way through the crowd. She bent down beside her. "Is she okay?", Destiny asked, not knowing who she was referring to.

Jin suddenly looked back as he heard someone call out Serenity’s name in the woods, but it was already too late to even try and catch a glimpse of who the person was. Jin’s teleportation technique was already complete so they were already long gone from where they had been moments ago in the middle of the woods and now currently in front of the inn. Was there someone else besides us four? Jin wondered before quickly looking down at Serenity after he heard her mention something about a woman asking about him. Damn and I thought I was able to get her off my tail by staying in the Light Kingdom. But it makes sense in how all these people around here all recently found out about the bounty on my head from the Dark Kingdom, She was just using them all to try and lure me out. Jin thought as the rain started to make his hair wet making it fall flat on his head. He then looked around at all the people that had quickly begun to crowd around them, realizing that the entrance he had made by teleporting in front of the inn had gained a little too much attention.

Jin looked down at Serenity a bit unsure about how exactly to he should answer her after hearing her questions and then hearing how she was thinking about him. “We should get out of here before we get more unwanted attention.” Jin said underneath his breath unsure of what else he could really say to her right now as his voice was slowly beginning drowned out by the whispers and questions of the crowd. “Yea she’s alright. But she would be better if you people would go mind your own business and give us both some room!” Jin said out loud after hearing one woman’s particular question but didn’t bother to look at who she was before yelling out at the crowd hoping that they would leave them alone, even though he knew it would never be as simple as that. Jin then looked over at the woman next to Serenity, wondering if maybe they knew each other by she seemed to be sincerely concerned about. “I don’t know who you are, but if you’re really a friend of hers help us get somewhere she can get some rest.” Jin said as he picked up Serenity in his arms and stood up properly, while looking over at the young woman and waiting for her reply.

"Why does this always have to happen to me? Why?!"

Albel groaned in frustration, feeling ticked off from being so close to one of his old friends, and then having them disappear in front of his own eyes. He gritted his teeth and ruffled his hair, attempting to blow some steam off with ways that didn't involve harsh words. As aggittated as he was, he really only cared about Serenity's safety. The man she was with didn't seem hostile though, so he figured she would be alright with him. For now, he would take a little bit of a rest, so he decided to head towards the nearest Inn to get a decent sleep. After that, he thought he should be prepared enough to embark out to the place which the letter had called him to.

As he finally caught sight of an Inn, he sighed in relief. It felt as though he had been travelling through this place forever. He was just happy to finally find the place where he could lay down in peace and get some shut eye. Getting closer to the building though, he noticed somewhat of a crowd around the front walls. Picking up his pace a little, he slightly changed his course to the wall of Inn. He stopped dead in his tracks as he heard a man's aggravatted voice pierced through the crowd.

“Yea she’s alright. But she would be better if you people would go mind your own business and give us both some room!” Albel just stood in his spot, waiting for the crowd to disperse to see what had been happenning over there. Finally, when he could see what everyone had been looking at, his jaw dropped. Of all the luck in the world, he had ended up here, not several yards away from Serenity! The man that was holding Serenity was still with her, so he knew that he wasn't just some bum trying to get something from her. He also caught sight of another person... another familiar face... it was Destiny! Not only had he found one friend, but two very good friends of his! This was a great day for him indeed! He was so overjoyed, all he could do was grin, he didn't even think about calling out to them.

All he could do, was watch the two carry Serenity inside the Inn, still dumbfounded at his luck. Finally, when he realized what had just happened, he snapped back to reality, his facial expression as priceless as ever.

He started running as fast as he could, his face still in shock. "H-hey! Wait for me!" Although they probably couldn't hear him, seeing as they were already inside, he just felt like saying something, anything that might possibly, somehow get their attention.

[Shadalicious Reminisce]

"You may go into the throne room, second door on the left!" He laughed politely. it was more than a bit obvious that the man felt insulted after Corbinek's comment, but he had meant in in a joking manner. It was too bad he wasn't in the mood to go and apologize, because after replying, the man had quickly walked off to make another announcement.

There were things that Corbinek was tempted to play around with, but he decided against. They had been called for a reason, and he didn't want to do stings that would ultimately freak everyone else out, or make them think he was an enemy. At least not yet anyway. he had been walking the entire time these thoughts ran through his head, and stopped in a long hallway.

He turned to the left, like the man had said, and saw a fairly large set of doors, that had to lead to the throne room. He grabbed the handle, but found the doors to be locked, and sighed in annoyance. "I don't know if I should open the door, or just go around it, maybe it is locked for a reason. I don't want to mess up things." The door was still locked, but Corbinek reached for the right side of the door, and grabbed on, pulling the entire door aside, until it looked like somebody had stretched it like rubber........he walked through the hole he'd made, and then poked the warped entrance, and it closed back again.

"Well, that was easy. I wouldn't doubt the others are supposed to do something like that as well."

Destiny looked at him, "Yes follow me, let's go inside the inn, I have friends here that wouldn't mind to have you two." She ushered the man and Serenity's body into the inn. She thought she had heard someone yell out, she looked around. She thought she had seen her old friend from long ago, was it really Albel? She stood there for a moment, trying to see if it was him. She turned back quickly because she needed to get Serenity in a room. Destiny walked into the small lobby. "I need a room as quickly as possible.", Destiny waited. They handed her the key and she led the man up the small stairs. "Here is the room, she should be comfortable here. I will be back shortly.", she let herself out of the room.

Destiny walked down the stairs to see if she was wrong, maybe it was Albel. Maybe he had shown up after so long. She went out to the street to look for his face. If he was out there she hoped he would find her. It would be so nice to see him again. She needed to get back upstairs and tend to Serenity, she entered the room again. "Will she be alright? What happened?", Destiny asked the man who had brought Serenity here.

If she is just going to take us into the inn, I could have just done it on my own. Jin thought as he held Serenity and followed after the woman that lead him into the inn. After walking into the lobby, Jin quickly took a look around taking note of how even in here people seemed to be staring at him suspiciously. I guess I really can’t keep a low profile with her in my arms like this. Jin thought as he looked down at Serenity wondering exactly what kind of poison was used on her and if she really would be alright like she said. Jin reminded silent as he waited for the woman to get them a room for Serenity and then followed after her up the stairs towards the room. Upon entering the room Jin placed Serenity gently down on the bed and went to look back at the in ordered to ask her a few things but she was already gone.

“I am glad you did though, I was thinking about you.” Jin said to himself quietly as he repeated out loud the last words Serenity had said to him earlier. What does she expect me to say after she tells me something that? Jin wondered as he walked over to a nearby chair in the room and sat down. “Maybe it was a mistake for me to stick around here as long as I did, cause all it did was end up getting her involved in my mess with Terrani.” Jin said out loud as he lend he lend his back against the chair and stared up at the ceiling. “Damn, I don’t even know what I’m…” Jin stopped talking to himself in mid-sentence after hearing the door to the room open again and quickly looked over at it to see that woman walk in.

“I’m really not that sure if she’s going to be alright, she said she would be but I’m not a poison expert so I wouldn’t know.” Jin said quickly answering the woman’s first question and then thinking about how he should answer her second. “Well what happened is a bit complicated since I really don’t know too much of it myself.” Jin said lying as he was unsure of the fact that this woman really knew Serenity all that well and if she was actually clued in on her true former occupation, because if she wasn’t Jin didn’t want to be the one to reveal them. “So how’s about you answer a couple questions of mine, like who are you and what’s your relationship with her?” Jin asked as he stood up from the seat and looked over at the woman waiting for her to answer him.

Serenity felt something soft up against her body and slwoly began to gain conciousness back. Her head had its own heartbeat and pained streamed through her body. "Where am I?" She whispered, putting her hand to her head and opened her eyes, slowly. She pushed her hair back from her eyes and looked around. "Destiny? And Jin? What are you all doing here?" She asked, knowing both of them, and she tried to sit up in the bed but she was too weak. She tilted her head and smiled. "I am surprised you aren't gone, Jin. I expected you to leave me in the middle of the crowd. But I guess you couldn't do that..." She said, looking at him and then at Destiny. "Long time no see. I have been busy with work but I am rid of that so I will probably be around more." She stated and propped herself up with her pillow. "Is..Is something wrong with Jason? Why isn't he here? If I get hurt, he is usually the one who helps me." She said, and now everyone knew what the poison did.

In her mind, everything was being replaced, not exactly the people but events. For some reason she knew who Jin was considering that was their target...to erase him from her mind but the things that were replaced were all the bad things that happened to her with Jason. To her, Jason was still her fiance and everything was perfect. She looked down at her ring finger and began to panic. "Where is my ring? Jason is going to kill me. I lost my ring!!" She said, searching through the sheets and trying to find her ring.

Destiny looked at him, she wasnt sure what his problem was but reluctanly answered. "Well first of all I am Serenity's best friend. My name is Destiny and I live near by. So who are you since we're playing the name game?", she looked at him and crossed her arms. She looked down at Serenity who had woken up. She was relieved that she was alright. She heard Serenity ask what she was doing there. "Well I don't really know, apparently something had happened to you. This guy here though hasn't really told me what's going on. I saw you in the middle of a crowd, with this guy holding onto you. May I ask how you two know each other?" Destiny looked back to the man sitting near Serenity, he didn't seem very pleasant. She knew Serenity's secret but wasn't willing to talk about it with this guy, Serenity and she never really talked about it. Destiny found herself kind of suspicious of him, but tried to be optimistic about him.

Albel burst through the doors of the inn, somewhat breathless, flustered, and slightly over the edge. "Okay..." He tried taking a few deep breaths to get his wind back, speaking afterwards. He made sure to make himself known to the people in this establishment hoping they could answer his question "who the heck has seen a girl about yeh high, has long blonde hair, and wears slightly revealing clothes that barely cover her body?"

Just after saying this, he caught sight of the Destiny, the strange man, and Serenity herself, who seemed to be in a frantic, panic like state. "Nevermind, I found her! Thanks anyways!" Quickly, he rushed over by her side, as well as the two that were with her...

“My names Jin …” Jin said a bit unsure of what he was evening doing anymore as he realized after talking to this woman that he knew very little about Serenity. “And I guess that I’m just a casual acquaintance of Sere…” Jin said stopping in mid-sentence after hearing Serenity say his name and then quickly turned around to look at her. So then I guess I was just suspecting the worst of Destiny, by thinking she was an assassin that was trying to pull the wool over my eyes. Jin thought as he noticed how Serenity seemed to be talking friendly with Destiny. “Who’s Jason?” Jin asked as he looked over at Destiny and then back at Serenity, a bit confused by what was happening.

“Serenity I don’t think you were wearing any ring when I brought you here.” Jin said as he was only getting more and more confused by the why Serenity had been acing since she woke up. “Wait maybe you should try and get some more rest, cause I think maybe you weren’t just poisoned earlier like you think.” Jin said as he remembered the fact that Terrani had also been there in the woods with them, and probably did more then just watch before escaping like he originally thought. Great now who else is here? Jin thought as he looked over at the man who entered into the room and wondered who exactly he could be.

[Aeriona]

Serenity looked at her old friend, Albel. "Hey, how are you? I am just fine!" She said, getting out of bed slowly and looked at everyone as they stared at her. "Why are you all worried about me? It isn't like I was hurt! I just had a headache." She said, walking over to the door and looking out into the hall. "Jin, I forgot how I met you... in the forest, right? Weren't you hurt or something. Maybe you should be getting some sleep." She said, walking over to Jin and placing her hand on his shoulder. "You don't look to well anyways." She smiled and looked up into his eyes. "Oh, I remember that I had to go to the dark kingdom for something, I think..." She said, trying to think back at everything she had done the day before. Her mind switched and she looked Destiny. "It seems like it has been forever since I saw you! how have both of you been?" She asked, Albel and Destiny at the same time and her mind was worn out from all the different things going on. Her hair was ratted alittle and her eyes were alittle red from where the magic had taken over. She breathed in and out as a thought of Jason raced to her mind when Jin asked who he was. "Jason is my fiance... I thought you knew that!" She laughed as the last ofthe words came out of her mouth and walked over to the bed. "Well, love to stay but I need to find Jason!" She said, grabbing her backpack and looked back at all her friends.

Jason stood in a dark room, loking at the queen of Darkness, Terrani. "What the hell do we do.. I don't think your magic worked all the way. She won't bring him here and wasn't that its purpose?" He asked her and started to bite his nails. "He will come once we get her. He is too noble to keep her in danger. Or he might even pay us a visit when she is in danger and he will tell us to leave her alone." She said, laughing a bit and looked at the nervous Jason. "She is mine once you are threw with her, right? You will erase her memory completely and Jin will be all yours. Lets just hope these two can keep their distance from each other." He sat down as he finished what he had to say and looked out the window.

Destiny stood and looked at the others as Serenity left. "Well then, I guess there's that. Sorry about that guys, she's a free spirit.", she laughed. She was happy to Albel, "Wow it has been along time. So how have you been?", she asked her old friend. She looked over her shoulder at the man named Jin. She felt bad that she acted kind of snoddy earlier but she just wasn't sure what was going on at the time. She was sure he was a friend of Serenity, but maybe she had just met him. She looked back at Albel, "How long are you going to be in town?"
