Marick jumped at the sound of the man in the hat's voice. He hadn't expected to be noticed.

"Oh, um...nothing." He stumbled. "Just, er, enjoying the view today. Lovely, isn't it?"

He put on a fake smile and walked past the man. Obviously, he wouldn't gain his infamy today. Hopefully the bomb would cause much ruckus that no one would suspect him.

Damien made an almost frightened look and got up to leave. Quickly he turned his head and smiled at her with his eyes shimmering in the sun that peaked through the leaves of nearby trees. He paced back and forth in front of her and made it seem he was thinking by rubbing his chin and scrunching his face.

"A witch, eh? Satan y'say? I'm not sure if I'm safe associatin' with the likes of you... Haha, kidding m'dear. What you do is what you want, I assume, and no one should take that from yeh or make you think otherwise about it."

He said this with an almost serious glance at her before sitting back down 2 feet in front of her. He laid back so that his head was in the shade of the dormitory building. The sun shone bright in the sky, even in the shade he had trouble looking up without squinting. It must have been somewhere around 2 P.M. since the sun was at an angle from the west. He smiled and began to stretch before folding his legs.

"I know I may be a little straightforward and all, but it's because I know a lot about not being accepted by the many. You seemed like someone I could... Relate to, y'know?"

His smile was gone, in its place pain seemed to sweep through his face and show itself through his eyes, mouth, and brow. He hated thinking about his childhood. No good memories remained in that dry little husk in the back of his brain. He wished that he could forget, but he realizes that it is his burden to bear for life. He was a better person for knowing about it, and remembering it. Alas, it was also the cause of his actions that sent him to this facility in the first place.

"Witch, or whatever you may believe, I don't care. It's no one's business to know you unless you allow them to. Miya, was it? It was good chattin' with yeh. I'd best get a move on. Perk up, and be a bit more cheerful. You only live once, and I'd suggest you take advantage of it by living happily, rather than living in a world of sorrow and despair."

He said this as he rose from the grass and nipped her chin with his thumb and index finger. He smiled once more before turning his music on and flipping his headphones over his ears. Waving over his shoulder he strolled back inside. Though it was a short acquaintance, he had a good amount of time to know her better. Silently he went through the dormitory to his room and entered without looking back.

"I need a bloody shower."

“Toy-player”? Who was killing who? What the hell? And enjoying the view his mother’s saggy – No, something was definitely up. He had been viewing people for far too long to let this rookie slide so easily. The innocent ploy was so overdone. And if he was to survive, he had to make it clear that he was tough. He had to.

Grunting, Amadi hid his hands in his pockets and followed after the brunette, brows raised. “Lovely, huh?” he mused loud enough for the boy to hear, to let him know that he wouldn’t get away just like that. “What they got you f-”

‘SPLOSION!

The ground slightly vibrated from the bomb’s shockwaves. Amadi whipped around to see the tree’s destruction, smoke, and char. Where he had been only moments before . . .

Oh hell. Now he was reaaaally starting to dislike this place. The boy had the gall to try and kill a man here? Did he think he’d get away with it? Really? Amadi rolled his eyes as he shouted to the boy.

“What the HELL, man? This your first day and you wanna play big league?”

Marick turned around, crouching, recovering from the shock waves from the ground. People all around him and the man were starting is disbelief, not sure if the bomb or the screaming was more interesting.

"Screw you!" Marick shouted in response. "Is your close death not big enough for you?!"

Lauging from the shadowed doorway of the Main entrance of the Dormitory, Brol looks around for any teachers just as the Director comes running from Third Wing, Dormitory into the courtyard to see a tree on fire, and people scattered around pointing fingers at everyone.

Brol instantly rushes at Mavrick and Amadi, "GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE! Director's coming!" yells Brol as he passes the two and kicks open another door on the other side of the courtyard as the Director comes running to the tree.

Deep breaths, ‘Madi, deep breaths. He’ll ruin the plan for you if you freak out now. Play it cool.

“Close death? You’re jokin’, right?” Again the man rolled his eyes. “You got some nerve thinkin’ you can kill someone just like that, boy. What’s yo deal?” He would have added some other derogatory comment, possibly throwing in the guy’s mother for the helluvit, but that would have gone against the plan. No, he had to be reasonable. With teenagers. God, what rathole had he been sent to?

And then, of course, they had to be interrupted. Mr. Sarcastic from before decided to be kind enough to let them know the Big Cheese was on his way over. Great. Juuuuuuust great. If he fled now it'd just look suspicious. But he was pretty sure Hot Shot Brunette would make a run for it, or if anything try to pin the blame on him. The man uttered a curse under his breath.

Marick ignored the man's remarks and turned his head to see the Director heading towards the tree. He acted calm, not bothering to move. If he made a run for it, it would be obvious that he had planted the bomb. He shifted his feet slightly left and blended into the crowd. The man he was shouting with was still standing still, as if he was incredibly tense, trying to keep his cool. Marick laughed under his breath.

It was at this time that the headmaster came over the loudspeaker. "Hello, students. Well by now i assume you've learned who you are bunking with, hm? And you may have learned that these kids are very different from yourselves. We are ready to let you know why you came here. Please report to the auditorium in 2 hours for a mandatory assembely. Thank you."

Karim got out of the shower and put on pants at the sound of his roommate yelling at him. "The name's freaking Kika, shut up." he said to her. He pulled on a shirt and put on some Axe. He looked at the she-devil who he was bunking with. It was at that time he heard the announcement. Great. He was looking forward to finding out why the hell he was in a school with freaking witches and etc. He had two hours to kill, so he walked out and went to see if there were any cool people there. He went to Dorm 2 to see who as there. He opened the door and saw a white guy. Americans...why the hell did he get sent to a school with a freaking AMERICAN? He slammed the door shut and walked outside to the back of the school. He went over to the football field and sat down at the bleachers. He was in hell. He thought this place really was his ticket to escape. But now he wanted nothing more than to go back to the jail back home where he belonged...

Such impudence! Trying a disappearing act to stay innocent; like he wouldn’t recognize the guy later on! Amadi appreciated the announcement for a few two hours before they had to move along. Grumbling, the man turned and headed back into the building without another word to the bomb-tinkering boy, ready for a good ol’ nap to kill some time and soothe an incoming headache. It’d be just his luck if he was rooming with the whelp . . .

There indeed was evidence that his room-mate was here: luggage on the bed, the sound of running water from the bathroom; must be taking a shower. Sighing, Amadi shifted his own suitcase to the wall with a foot before flopping upon the bed he just barely fit upon. At least he could take comfort in that the pillow was soft. What his room-mate was like, he could hardly care less about at the moment : just another punk probably out to poke his nerves when inclined.

Slamming the door closed behind him, Brol lays on his bed as he hears the annoucement. Sighing to himself as he looks at his roommate's bed. Thinking for a second, Brol throws his pillow over his head ," ugh....my bed is smaller...." As he reaches for his music player, Brol notices the old door, was open.

Brol got up from his bed to see that the Director was at his door with a burnt bag. Sadly it was Brol's bag that got crisped. "I Know that you might think that i...ugh....." Stands up as he starts circling around in his room. "But yah no Doc," looks over his shoulder at the open window," It seems my exit is here!" exclaims Brol as he jumps out of his dorm room window and falls into a poison ivy bush.

After a nice trip to the Director's Room and some time in the nurses office, Brol walks around the Corridors with bandages all over his body. With a small grin in his face he walks into the auditorium thinking he would sit in the back to only notice that the chairs were set by a interesting Name order. Finding his chair after a couple of minutes, he finds it in the front row next to his friends Amadi, Mavrick and someone named Damien.

Upon the excitement nearby the tree he went over and saw the bomb. He thought I am glad i am not sleeping with this nut. "Why do you have a bomb kid?" He said it loud so Amadi could hear it as a warning. Not to be nice but he hated it when other people killed people he always thought If anyone kills somebody it's gonna be me. He then ran away after shoving Marick's face into the place where the bomb was. He then pulled his built in webcam from the laptop and pointed it toward the tree. He was going to post it on the internet. He waited the whole boring minute.

Two hours later he went to the assembly and waited for the announcements. He was bored during the wait. He wished he had brought his DS too.

Looking over at his side, Brol finds his roommate in the auditorium. As if he rather sit down in the front next to his good friend, The Director, Brol walks over to Ralor.

"Tsh....what kind of creature dragged this stupid french... i mean hey roomie! Whats up?," saying ever so fake with his non-convincing smile. Before Ralor can reply, Brol puts on his headphones and begins to blast his own music and tuning into his own mind and world.

Miya blinked repeatedly as Damien walked away. She looked at her arm, taking two fingers and ran them across her arm. It wiped away the cover up. Under the make up was a variety of diffrent size scars, made from a razor blade. She had them on her neck, her shoulders, her arms, her legs, everywhere. But the make up hid everyone of them. She decided to head to the mandatory meeting in the aditorium. When she arrived, she sat and began to read a book. In two hours, the meeting would start.

Marick had followed the crowd of people that had been herded back into the building after the explosion. It didn't seem like much a big deal, he noticed. Perhaps things like small bombs happened all the time around this place. He needed something bigger. Much bigger.

For now, Marick groaned after hearing the announcement. He hated assemblies. His will had no power in The Institute however, and so he continued with the sheep that he had already been following.
