"Why did you do that!? I could of gone back home!" Siri yelled to Sleif, but he wasn't mostly listening, still looking at his hands.
"Did...did I do...that?" Sleif asked as he continued to look at his hands.

Looking away, Sleif turned his gaze to Siri, before looking in the direction of where the rift was. Grabbing Siri's hand, Sleif raised his free hand in te same direction again, causing another rift to appear.
You ready? Because there is no telling what might be on the other side!" said Sleif, as he continued to hold Siri's hand.

"Your world may be there, or it could lead to somewhere completely new! But whatever you decide is ok!" said Sleif.

Siri looked up into Sleif's eyes, "I'm ready." Siri said seriously, and she jumped in taking Sleif with her.

The two appeared in an alley way behind a building. Siri didn't know if she was back on Thrae, so she walked foward to make her way out of the alley. "Thrae." Siri said as she looked at everything surrounding her. "Looks like you brought us to the right place." Siri said as she turned her head back to Sleif. "Now i'm not the one sticking out like a sore thumb with my attire. Come on, i don't remember much, but i do know we can get some good food here." Siri said as she walked out into the streets, full with life.

Dawn believed that every island had its own story to tell and that was exactly what she was going to find out for herself. She carried on walking through the jungle without much fear after seeing what she had been capable of. It seemed like miles away from being the ordinary teenager that she was back at home to the invincible special girl that she was now. As she continued deeper and deeper into the jungle, the next thing that came into light was a huge temple. She stared in awe because the temple itself looked like it was hundreds of years old, possibly even thousands. Without any hesitation, Dawn entered it without any fear. It was more of a reaction with curiosity. As she walked closer to it, the doors opened and were left open when she walked inside. When she did walk inside, she found that the stone here was such old material. Her grandmother was a historian and had shown her many things of the past when she was growing up. This stone, she believed, looked like it was over a thousand years old.

But then she came to the edge and there was not much choice, but to jump to the other side. Dawn stepped back trusting in her new confidence and powers to then take the leap. She jumped, but as she did, her body turned orange again and she flew like a shooting star and landed on the ground with a loud thud that made some pieces of rock fall from the ceiling. "Ouch," she muttered under her breath, as she rubbed the back of her neck. When she recovered, Dawn rose to her feet again and pushed on. The next room had much more challenges ahead. All in all, it felt like an adventure. Wolves appeared again, looking exactly like the others as before, ready to take her down. She extended her hands and light blasted out of them scaring the wolves away. The wolves ran in fear. Dawn kept thinking this was a dream waiting to be real, but of course, this WAS real. The pirate ship had been real, so had breathing under the sea. This was the most real out of them ... and boy, was she ready to see what was here in this temple ...

Trinitad had long since left the burning center of the forest. He had been walking, recollecting everything he had witnessed, everything he was thinking. Why would Dawn start a fire like that? She must have really been an evil demon. This made Trinitad so angry inside. He really loved her. She was, perfect. And now he finds out she's not human. And that's when it occured to Trinitad: he was on land! Why wasn't he feeling sick? What was going on? While thinking about this, Trinitad wasn't exactly focusing on his surroundings and where we was going, so he didn't see the quicksand until he was stuck in it. The strange part was, it wasn't like normal quicksand. This didn't slowly pull him in, it was more like falling throgh air. He quickly slipped through the sand as everything began to go black.

Tre was walking through the jungle, his eyes burning with orange flames, burning anything that he felt like. He had to find a way off the island, then he would become captain of a new ship, and if Trinitad survived, they'd send him and his crew to the depths. But he smelled an orange rift near this old temple. It was close, and Tre saw that the orange was actually the she-devil. He hadn't exactly practiced his newly found skills on something unearthly. The demon girl would be perfect. He quickly ran through the jungle to the temple. He entered it, smelling for the girl. He reached an edge and didn't know what to do, so with his new powers, he ripped off a slab of rock from the wall and used it as a bridge. He ran across and smelled for the demon. He made his way through the temple searching for the girl, having no trouble at any obstacle. He just used powers to manipulate it to his benefits. When he saw wolves, he just burned them to death. He then saw the orange aura in front of him, and laughed loudly as he held up his hand. His laugh was probably ringing through the entire temple, but even if the girl had heard him, she'd be dead before she could even turn around. Fire began to emit from his hand and towards the girl. And he would have scorned her to death if that man didn't appear. He wore a black cape and headpiece, with a tatoo on his arm, and black paint under his eyes in the shape of two symbols. And he cried out something in another language after he jumped down from that ledge in front of the girl. Soon, around 10 men also dressed in black appeared and grabbed Tre. Their eyes were glowing with that same rift aura, but it was a light blue. Tre tried to burn them to death, but he couldn't. It was almost as if their rift canceled out his rift. They pushed him in front of them and past Dawn, to another room in the temple, to do G-d knows what to him. The man who had fallen in front of Dawn turned to her and spoke to her. He spoke in another language. The rift language. But he knew the girl would understand. "Come with me, your majesty. You're safe now."

Trinitad woke up and looked around. He was in this underground room or something, made entirely of stone. He would have gotten up to check out the place or something, but he realized it was just one square room, about 5 feet by 5 feet, with a torch on the wall for lighting. How did he get here? He looked up to see if there was quicksand or something. That was what he remembered, quicksand. But looking up he saw that the room went up for at least a mile, there was no way he could have fallen that far and not died. Was there? He stood up and looked around. There had to be a way out of here. But he saw nothing. He was trapped, and would inevitably die here, alone and cold.

The temple was amazing to say the least. Dawn had frozen at this point because there was something dark here and no, it wasn't coming from the temple. She stopped this grand "adventure" for a moment to think about her family. How long had it been since she had been kidnapped? Days? Weeks? Maybe even months? It was too bad that she didn't have her phone on her. Ha, like it would have a reception on this deserted island. Or maybe the term of "deserted" wasn't the right word to use here. But of course, she was not alone. Tre had almost killed her. Had it not been for these men in black that had arrived to take him away, then maybe she would be dead before she even knew it herself. Then the man that had jumped in front of her spoke in that same rift. But wait ... Your Majesty? Dawn felt confused. That title was only fit for a king or a queen. She certainly wasn't one. He had spoken in the rift language that she had been hearing for the past God knows how long.

She didn't know what he meant by that. Did he expect her to go with him and be safe? Maybe he was a good guy. Considering all that had happened to her so far, Dawn didn't know who was good and who was bad. But she had to take a chance, so she nodded and then unexpectedly found herself speaking in that same rift language. "Whoever you are, I'll go with you," she said. Dawn didn't know how she had managed to say that. Ever since gaining these powers, she had been able to do some very unexpected things. First, she had shot up from the ocean like a shooting star. Next, she had ended up on this island. Then she was able to manipulate the light inside of her and send it off like blasts. Now there was ... this. There was only chaos here. There had always been chaos since being kidnapped. If she hadn't taken the long way round home, then MAYBE she wouldn't be in this mess right now! "Where will you take me?" she asked curiously, wanting to know what would happen.

The man in the black cape turned to look at her and spoke again, in that rift language. "Ahh...so you are in fact the one we've been waiting for. My name is Aashiq, and these are my people. This is my land, the land of the rift. And we have been waiting for you. Come with me and you will see, you will see everything your highness." Aashiq smiled at Dawn and called in 4 other men with a series of whisles and clicks. They brought in a large throne with two poles that the men would put on their soulders to carry the throne and whoever was seated upon it. They also brought a large black horse in. Aashiq walked over to Dawn and took her hand, but he quickly pulled his hand away. "Oh, i....i apologize your majesty." He bowed down before her continually apologizing and saying how he wasn't worthy and that was a terrible thing to do. "If you would like, please take a seat upon the throne." Aashiq mounted the horse and waited for Dawn to take a seat.

Tre opened his eyes in the dark room, unable to see anything, until he saw the glowing blue eyes of the men in black. Tre then noticed he was chained to the wall. He glared and his eyes glowed orange as he tried to emit fire from his hands at them, but their blue rift made his rift send electric orange bolts through his body that made him cry out in pain. "You tried to kill her majesty, so now you shall die."

Trinitad's arm began bleeding from his constant crashing into the wall, trying to break it down. He was now extremely tired so he took a break and leaned against the wall. As you may guess, the place was full of traps, and this wall was a trap as well. The wall spun around and put Trinitad on the other side, where he couldn't even see, because it was too dark. He tried to feel his way around the dark tunnel. He walked through many cobwebs and tripped over a lot of rocks and etc. He saw a faint light in the ditance and recognized it as a torch. Obviously he wasn't alone. How would a torch still be burning? He suddenly felt a searing pain in his leg and felt a large bump in it. Without thinking, Trinitad began sprinting to the light to see what was wrong with his leg. When he reached the light he looked at the bump in his leg and realized it was moving. He took his sword out and cut open his skin to remove the bump from his arm. It was a scarab. He threw it on the ground and shot it with his pistol, killing it. A scarab could eat you alive. He took the torch and began onward his way.

Aashiq sat on his horse leading the way, with the four other men carrying the throne with Dawn seated upon it. He stopped as they entered a room with a larger throne, and a table with maps, diagrams, books, and other things. The room was assorted with pots of various colors and sizes, along with gold, jade, silver, and other valuable items. Suddenly a gunshot was heard in the temple. Aashiq turned to his men and spoke with those same clicks and whistles and they soon left the room, weapons in hand. "We feared you wouldn't be showing up, your majesty. Now that you are here, the rift can truly begin." Aashiq said to Dawn as he handed her a beautiful crown.

Tre's hands were in handcuffs as he walked up the stairs to the gallows. The noose was ready for him, as the man in the mask, the executer, put it around his neck, and made it tight. He backed up and smiled under his mask as he put his hand on the lever. He looked at Tre who was still glaring and scowling. The lever was pulled and Tre dropped, the rope pulling on his neck, but his head did not pop off. The executer frowned because of this, knowing now they have to wait for him to strangle to death.

Trinitad had been walking for sometime, before he heard the men running behind him. He turned and saw the four men chasing him with bows and arrows, swords, and other weapons. He started into a slow sprint as he dashed through the hallways and corridors, finally entering a large room to see a man at the gallows, just as the executer pulled the lever. The man was Tre. Trinitad took out his sword and dashed to the gallows, slicing the rope with his sword. tre fell to the ground, alive, as all the men in the room surrounded them, holding up their swords. The two were grabbed, pushed, and dragged to another room.

Aashiq poured some wine in a glass and handed it to Dawn just as the men brought in the two hostages. Trinitad looked up at Dawn and begged when he saw the crown upon her head. "Dawn! Dawn please! Save me! I saved your life, it's the---" he was cut off when one of the men slapped him across the face. Aashiq spoke up in the rift voice, and of course only Trinitad didn't understand. "How dare you speak to her majesty in that tone!" To Trinitad it sounded like more clicks and whistles. Aashiq then turned to Dawn. "The one who speaks against you is human. The other has been touched by the rift. What do you command happens to them?" All eyes turned to Dawn to hear what would be said. Tre looked with anger, Trinitad with hopefulness. Oddly, he also looked with love, as if even through all they've been through, he still cared about her. But now all eyes were peeled, and all ears were open.

Daiod walked deep into the jungle to locate food. However, off to the distance, a small town peaks his interest. Daiod walks towards the tower, forgetting the small village and his task to find food. Through fields of bamboo and up steep and natural stepping stones, Daiod made his way to the tower. He stopped at the entrance and looked up to get a better observation of the tower. Suddenly, the door opened and two men in black robes ran out and grabbed Daiod’s arms.

Daiod tried to resist but to no avail, he was pulled into the tower. As the men were pulling him, Daiod looked around and noticed that the floor was a clear layer of mist. The inside of the tower appeared to be a room suspended in outer space. The men pulled Daiod in to a portal that leaded to a throne room. Afterwards, the men knocked Daiod to the ground. Daiod looked up around to see Trinitnad and Tre looking upon Dawn who
was sitting on a throne.

Now that she thought about it, maybe something sinister was behind all of this. These people saw her as royalty and Dawn came to see that perhaps it wasn't her they saw, but someone else inside of her. I guess it couldn't hurt to feel like I'm royalty, she thought and chuckled to herself. Her eyes were sparkling the same light orange colour again and it kind of hurt at the same time. Dawn didn't feel like herself anymore. She had become someone else; it was almost as if there was a being that had taken over her body and was about to seize control. Aashiq was polite, she had to admit, but he said something about the "rift". Just what exactly was the rift? Was it that had changed Dawn? She looked up at the crown on her head and laughed nervously, but quietly. "Things keep getting weirder ..." she muttered in her own language. Then suddenly, she was looking down at Trinitad and Tre.

Oh God, Aashiq asked her what she wanted to do. Trinitad had begged for his life, Tre just looked ... pissed off altogether. But Trinitad made it sound almost like they were going to be executed. True, he had saved her life and now she had this authority. Good and evil played a crucial part in this. Firstly, they had kidnapped her and treated her like garbage until the rift started playing up. She could have just ordered for both of them to be killed, but then Dawn was human. She was a good person and could never let them be killed. "Take them with us," she said in an upbeat voice. "They can come with us. I owe them a debt for saving my life." Dawn turned to Trinitad. "I don't know what the HELL is going on, but I can't let them kill you. I told them to take you with us. That is, wherever we're going." She then looked at Tre, the one Aashiq said had been touched by the rift. How exactly had he been touched by the rift then? What kind of power did he now possess?

Aashiq heard his queen's command and thought. "But your majesty...one tried to ki---i apologize. Your orders will be carried out." he said before he clicked to his men. They dropped Trinitad and Tre to the ground. It was then that Aashiq noticed the new one his men brought in. He pointed to him and clicked to his men. THey clicked back. He then spoke in the rift to Dawn. "This man was on the island, and, he smells like rift, yet it hasn't touched him yet. He has a touch of destiny." Trinitad stared up at Aashiq, wondering what he was saying. But Tre, he understood. And he looked at Daiod still glaring. He held up his hand and tried to burn him to death, but the men with the blue rift were still there, and he couldn't. Aashiq re-mounted his horse and clicked to his men to lift the throne. "You will see everything now..." he said as he opened a portal with his hands. The men on their feet went first, followed by Tre, Trinitad, and Daiod, then Dawn on her throne, and finally Aashiq.

On the other side, they saw that they ended up in a desert. Aashiq hurried to lead the pack. He looked back at Dawn and said, "It will take us a day to reach the Lost City. You can sit back and relax, your majesty." Tre tought a moment. Tre had been doing a lot of thinking ever since the rift, but hasn't said a word. He had to get Dawn, along with Daiod. They both apparently had the rift on them, and with them out of the way, no one could stop him. But Daiod didn't have the rift on him. But he had...destiny? What did they mean? Either way his only destiny would be to die.

They had been walking for some time when one of the men fell to the ground. Aashiq sighed and held up his hand. Blue rift went out from it an surrounded the man, and he rose up and began to walk again. Trinitad looked at this in shock. He turned to look at Tre who was still glaring at Daiod. Tre's eyes met Trinitad's and he continued to glare. He was still mad at Trinitad, and he was also on Tre's death note. Trinitad looked away and looked back up at Dawn on the throne. She looked so beautiful. He stepped closer to her, but stopped when he noticed who was carrying the throne. "Victor?" he asked, surprised. Tre turned and looked as well. The man who looked like Victor didn't turn around, he didn't say anything. He looked straight and walked. All the men were emotionless, all except Aashiq. They were...almost brainwashed. Tre looked at one of the men who were walking in front, without anything. One looked like Clay. Tre's eyes began to glow orange.

Tre learned to control his rift. He felt when he was glowing, and knew when it was showing, and he could stop it immediately. He turned off the rift in his eyes at that moment. He held up his hand and tried to burn a cactus, but he couldn't. He had to ditch the guys in black before he could use his rift. But he had to first see this Lost City. It may provide the answers he was searching for.

Trinitad looked back up at Dawn. She was perfect for him. He had to show her. He had to show her he was a good guy. It was then that Aashiq stopped, and the rest of the men with him. "We camp here for the night." Tre looked up at the sky. It was...light out. There was no sun, but like on the island, the place was lit by G-d knows what. Tre looked at Aashiq as if he were crazy. Aashiq must have read his mind because he spoke to him in the rift. "Yes the night. You aren't home, boy. You look with the rift here, not with your eyes." Trinitad watched them as they spoke. He couldn't understand. He saw the throne being lowered and the mats placed on the ground. "You, boy," Aashiq said to Tre. "You want to burn something? Start a fire for us." His blue rift eased and Tre felt his rift return. He had the opportunity to kill them all, right now. But he needed to get somewhere. He started a small fire in the middle of all the mats. The men then stopped his rift by starting their own. It was weird, weird how there were so many types of this one thing. Trinitad remembered the orange girl that shone brightly, then the blue man who healed others. Now, Tre. Tre....how did he get the rift on him? He shown with a dark dark orange. And he burned things. Things were weird.

The men layed down on the mats and carefully lowered their princess down and put up a tent for her. Inside they turned her throne to a bed and helped her into it. There were fresh garments for her to change in on the bed. Two men stood outside it, guarding it. Aashiq went to sleep in his own tent as well. Trinitad and Tre layed down in their mats and rested. One of the men dressed in black helped Daiod into his mat as well, as if he was obligated to sleep. He returned to his mat and slept.

After a few minutes, it seemed as if everyone was asleep. Trinitad got up and walked over to Dawn's tent. He walked around to the back and found a little peep hole. He was tempted to look in and watch her change, but he didn't. He had to see her though. He had to look at her, just smell her. And he personally would prefer to look at her while she's naked. But he cared about her, and he knew that since he cared about her so much, he shouldn't sink that low. He sighed as he thought about her. He whispered under his breath, as if talking to the tent. "I love you, Dawn. I'm sorry." He returned to his mat and layed down, unaware that someone was watching him. Someone he thought was asleep. But now Tre knew how to control him. He knew he had the leverage he needed in his right hand.

It felt odd to be treated like royalty. As Dawn sat in her tent that night, she couldn't help feel being homesick. She missed her parents and their love that they had for her. She wanted to go home, but knew that she couldn't right now. These people spoke in the rift language and if there was any chance that she could discover why the rift had touched her, then these people were the ones to stay with. But by saving Trinitad and Tre, she wasn't alone as the only human here. But now that Daiod was here, things were even more complicated. Dawn wished that her mum and dad knew that she was ok, that she was alive and well. She had no clue what day it was, she only knew that it was night and the morning would be here in some hours. The Lost City, whatever it was, sounded interesting enough. What would happen when she got there? She couldn't stay on this island for the rest of her life with these people! No, Dawn had to get out of here somehow and get home, away from everything. Away from everything that happened.

Dawn tried to sleep, she really did try. But she couldn't. So she sat up listening to the quiet sounds of the jungle. A few tears slid down her cheeks, but she wiped them away in fear that someone would walk in at any moment. Her right hand began to glow and when she did look at it, there appeared a small image of her parents looking devastated in the living area. So what? She was able to see her parents with this power now? They were crying, upset and agonising about her disappearance ... she couldn't sit here and wait to go to the Lost City! Dawn had to go home now! "Don't go," whispered a voice in her mind. It wasn't a voice she had heard before, so Dawn kept her guard up. The voice spoke again. "You want to know why this happened," it said, "what you've become, how this will affect you. You'll find out about your destiny should you stay ..." And with that, the voice disappeared. Her destiny? Dawn only knew that it was her destiny to get a scholarship in one of her favourite sports ...

As the rift closed behind them, Sleif noticed that the two of them were in some sort of an alley, in some city. "Thrae. Now i'm not the one sticking out like a sore thumb with my attire. Come on, i don't remember much, but i do know we can get some good food here." said Siri as she walked out of the alley to look around the area they had arrived in.

Thrae? Sleif had never heard the name before, and so realised that they must be in a city from where Siri came from.
Following her, Sleif noticed that while the areas seemed completely different, he could still make out what certain buildings would have been.

Siri was sure glad to be home, she looked at Sleif as he looked stared at how different the city looked from his home. On top of that, being so happy, Siri forgot all about the danger that happened to her the last time she was at Thrae.

"Mmmm, the food here smells good." Siri said as she opened the door to the restuarant. "What do you want? The ootap looks good, i'm gonna go with that." Siri asked Sleif, then said what she was taking a liking too.

The two walked out of the alley, and straight into the closest restaurant that was there. "Mmmm, the food here smells good." Siri said as she opened the door to the restaurant. She was right. Even though the food was different here, it still had a great smell and aroma.

"What do you want? The ootap looks good, i'm gonna go with that." said Siri as she looked at the different types of food on offer. Sleif simply stared at the list of food blankly, not knowing what anything was. "Em...I think I'll let you choose!" said Sleif as he looked away from the board and down to Siri.

"Em...I think I'll let you choose!" Sleif said as he looked at Siri.

Siri went up to the register, "Two ootaps please." "That's 20 ledoose." The woman said to Siri. Siri just put her eyes infront of a small machine and it scanned her eyes. "Thank you, we will bring your food to you once it's done." The Woman said as she handed Siri a number. "Well, lets get a table." Siri said as she turned to Sleif.

"So, you can create rifts. How do you do it? It's amazing, i wish i had a power, let alone, who i actaully am." Siri talked to Sleif as she leaned her arms on the table.

"So, you can create rifts. How do you do it? It's amazing, i wish i had a power, let alone, who i actually am." Siri said to Sleif, leaning her arms on the table.

"I am the same!"replied Sleif. "I have no memory of my life, and as for this power, I knew I had something to do with those rifts, but not something on this scale!" said Sleif, as he sat at the other end of the table, trying to get his head around everything that was happening.

"Sorry! I'm bringing the mood down!" said Sleif, as he simply looked down at the table.
