| "I'm waving at FAT." | Dawn was snapped out of her thoughts when Trinitad came down to give her a small piece of bread and a bottle of rum on a tray. "Am I hell hungry," she muttered under her breath, despite her stomach growling. Right now, she'd rather die than just eat. But then again, she wanted to get out of this craphole so much that she'd need to keep her strength up. She ate the bread and then looked at the rum. Come ON, I am fifteen years old. I got another three years until I'm legal! However, she did have second thoughts. Then again, I'm not home and God knows where I am now, so I guess a few sips couldn't hurt, right? She began taking sips of the rum until she practically gulped it down. She had about half the bottle and felt the room spinning around. "First time with alcohol," she whispered. "No wonder Jo would be all over the place on Monday morning ..." The voice warning about the rift still spoke, but right now, she could care less. "Talk about your goddamn rift all you like! We're all doomed, ha, ha!" She was a little bit drunk after sometime, but she could still think and see clearly. Her voice sounded perhaps a bit too excited, however. Then suddenly, she heard someone coming down the stairs. "For the last time, Captain what's-your-name, I am no bleeding wife of yours!" she bellowed. "You can kidnap me, starve me, whatever other crap you got to throw at me, but I am no bloody wife of yours! I, for one, hate pirates and you wanted to toss me into the sea! Why didn't you do it when you get the chance?" A few moments later, she realised what she said and cursed under her breath. Then she could see Daiod in the distance and let the reality sink in. Someone was here to rescue her! "You're here to help me?" asked Dawn. "Those idiots didn't lay a finger on me, though one of them grabbed me by the hair and kept tightening his grip on me ..." She stopped again. "Yeah, sorry about that. They gave me some rum, first time with the drink. Not doing well, am I? I might be a bit drunk to say the least, but still, you're here for me?" |

Daiod looked at Dawn and said “Yes I’m here to rescue you.” He unlocked the cell door and entered it slowly.“Allow me to carry you. Giving under the age ladies rum is a sense of indecency. Don’t worry, I’m not a pervert or a pedophile. Are you hungry? I saw a room full of food on the way here and that bread the captain gave you did not look filling.” Daiod picked up Dawn gently and carried her off to the food storage room. “ If you are not hungry, then forgive me. I haven’t eaten in hours.” |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | As most of the crew remained against keeping the girl on board, there was one young man who had become liking of her. His name was Chris, and he was a newly appointed crew member. He was from France, and he spoke better english than most of the men on the ship. He dressed differently, and he was better mannered as well, and felt that he was on the same boat as the new hostage, both literally and figuratively. He was prepared to sneak her food every now and then. That plan soon changed when he woke up in the middle of the night. He walked to the door and realized it was locked, and the doorknob was gone. He stuck his hand where the knob should have been and tried to break through, but he couldn't. Chris was 28 years old, and quite strong. He backed up and kicked open the door. It split down the middle and opened up to the stairs. Chris quickly unsheathed his sword and walked up the stairs. He looked around the main deck and saw Trinitad at the helm. "Captain, it appears someone snuck on the ship," he said, and of course he knew why. The girl. Trinitad nodded to Chris, as if saying "Go get him..." Chris smiled as he walked down the stairs to the hold. Chris never saw much action. He never drank rum, and he always cleaned his sword after it was stained with blood, which it practically never was. And it wasn't about to be stained either, for when he went down and saw the partially drunk girl and the young man at her side, he smiled. He put the sword up and pointed it to the man's head, smiling as if the whole thing was a joke. "Hello mate. You assisting this fine lady?" he said, still smiling, as he slowly put down his sword. "Unfortunately you won't get very far on your own. A long boat can't take you very far either. Let me tell you, i was a hostage on this very ship at one point as well. Soon i was admitted into hte crew and let me tell you, it's not as bad as i thought. BUt if you wish to leave, i shall assist you, at the risk of myself dying." He turned and looked at the young girl. "Name's Chris. And you two are?" The sound of footsteps was heard as the captain was walking down the stairs. Chris quickly grabbed the young man's arm and twisted it behind his back. He whispered into his ear, "Play along. And don't worry, the lashes aren't as bad as they sound." Trinitad's head popped in as he looked into the hold seeing the two men and the lady. Behind him stood two other men, one with a whip. Chris noticed the spiked ball at the end of the whip. He had left Tre at the helm. "Avast men! It appears we have a stowaway," Trinitad said with a smile. "Suggestions men?" One man said the infamous black spot was the way to go about it. One said he should be shot right there and then. "Argh, he shall be hung. Right now, overboard," said the captain. "No!" said Chris. All eyes turned to the idiot who had spoken against the captain. It was inevitable what was going to happen now. Both Chris and the young man would die. Trinitad glared at Chris. "Men i smell a mutiny. All hands on deck!" Trinitad yelled as he grabbed the young lady. The man without the whip grabbed the man Chris had been holding and the one with grabbed Chris. Both men were pushed against the wall on the side of the main deck as the crew awoke at the captain's screams to watch the flogging. The two men were forced to turn around and were held there as their shirts were ripped open to create a clear target for the man with the whip, Victor, or as the crew mostly called him, The Flying Dutchman. The Dutchman was tall with huge bisceps at only 31 years old. "Both men are to be flogged until death!" yelled Trinitad. The whip Dutchman held would surely rip off their skin and most of their muscle with a single blow. "I'll take it all!" said Chris. Trinitad frowned, but his frown soon flipped to a smile. "Fine then. Chris shall be flogged," he said. Dutchman smiled as he got ready for the blow. His first swing made Chris cr out in pain as his skin ripped off, revealing a part of his spine. He was beeding horribly, and the sight was very grusome. The next blow was worse, everyone heard the bone crack as it split and shards went flying. On the next one, he got Chris' arm, tearing it off completely. Chris was now nothing but blood on legs. He was crying. The final blow sent the spike ball up in the air and hard on the man's head, splitting it in 4 places. A puddle of blood sat where his body was, and three men pushed the body overboard. The puddle stained the floorboards. Trinitad turned to the other man. Two men grabbed him as 3 others checked his pockets. Everything was gotten rid of, not a single thing remained at his disposal. The crew had found the keys he had stolen earlier as well. The man was clapped in irons and thrown into his own cell in the brigg, and it was locked very tight. "Let this be a lesson to you all," yelled Trinitad, looking at the young lady. "Tre...escort her to her sleeping quarter." The sleeping quarter was really a cell on the other side of the ship. Tre helped her in and locked the door. "You're lucky the captain's crazy about you," he said as he turned and walked up the stairs. |

| Elegant | While helping himself, a pirate snuck behind him and placed a sword up against his head. The man said with a smile "Hello mate. You assisting this fine lady?" Unfortunately you won't get very far on your own. A long boat can't take you very far either. Let me tell you, I was a hostage on this very ship at one point as well. Soon I was admitted into the crew and let me tell you, it's not as bad as I thought. But if you wish to leave, I shall assist you, at the risk of myself dying." The man lowered his sword and looked at Dawn.” Name's Chris. And you two are?" Before Daiod could say anything, they were surrounded by more pirates. Chris quickly grabbed Daiod’s arm and twisted it behind his back. Chris whispered "Play along. And don't worry; the lashes aren't as bad as they sound."Daiod played along as long as he could. However, things didn’t go as planned. After watching Chris get flogged, several pirates grabbed and confiscated Daiod of his belongings and keys and clamped his arms and legs in iron. Afterwards, he is thrown into a cell in the brig and tightly secured. Shirtless, Daiod wiggles his way into a corner.“What a fine mess I’m in. I hope the young lady is ok.” |

| Twilight Knight | Dæxx arrived at his mother's home, it seemed desolate. He shrugged off his shoulder bag and leapt onto a nearby couch that sat in front of a 63' television. He was lucky to have such amazing accommodations while he babysat. Flicking on the T.V. he looked towards the stairs leading to the upper level of the house where Vign was roomed. "Vign? Are you here? It's your brother! Come and give me a hug!" He heard no response and no movements. She must be at a friend's for the evening. He had arrived late and so she must have found a place to stay. She never was one to spend much time alone. Like him, she hated being alone for the sake of protecting herself from her own thoughts. Dæxx began to sink in and out of sleep. His mind was wrecked and his body was weak from the travel and the lack of sleep. "Some sleep will help, but I should really unpack." He had passed out in front of the television without as much as a second thought. The screen still displaying what seemed to be a debate of some sort. |

| "I'm waving at FAT." | Dawn didn't resist when Daiod picked her up. It was as if there wasn't a single ounce of strength left inside her body. But just as they were about to leave, trouble struck. Then Chris arrived and Dawn couldn't see clearly again. "Name? Dawn, Dawnie, whatever the hell it is," she mumbled. But when Chris grabbed Daiod's arm, she felt herself being dropped on the floor and she rubbed her head. "Ouch, you didn't need to do that ..." The next thing she knew, she was being grabbed by Trinitad. Everything else became somewhat of a blur considering that gulping down all that rum hadn't exactly done her any good. She could hear someone crying out in pain and the sound of a whip, but she didn't really care right now. Her head was all over the place and to be quite honest, Dawn couldn't give a monkey's butt about it either. Being drunk really didn't do Dawn the world of good, but she had fully enjoyed it. Everything seemed to be spinning around the world, but she started laughing out loud. Even as Tre helped her to the sleeping quarter, Dawn couldn't hold back her emotions. "Captain? You call him a BLEEDING captain?" she laughed out loud. "Come ON, he's no captain. Besides! What he needs is someone to overtake him, someone to overthrow him. And I reckon that YOU might be the one that can do it, ha, ha!" She fell back towards the wall and shook her head. "Crap, I'm still bleeding on my bloody knuckles, but I don't give a pirate's ass either. She watched him go up the stairs and she tried so hard to focus. It was so hard because the effects of the rum had already kicked in. What the hell have I been doing? It feels like the past hour just flew in five minutes, she thought, trying to follow Tre up the stairs, but was failing miserably, as she was staggering and could barely walk at all. She was completely and utterly legless. But something that made her awaken properly was the voice in her head again. "All that you know will change," it hissed. "Advanced technology, supernatural powers, parallel universes, ancient magic, time travel. Are you ready?" |

| Twilight Knight | "Advanced technology, supernatural powers, parallel universes, ancient magic, time travel. All are possible, and all are happening. . ." Dæxx awoke in a cold sweat. His heart was racing and his head felt as if it were about to explode. He gripped his ears as he fell to the floor, the T.V. still blaring out random commercials. "Now. . . Welcome to the new world, Dæxx. . ." Dæxx screamed at the top of his lungs, the pain was excruciating as his skin felt as if it were melting. He heard crash in his left ear, then in his right. It was as if the house was being demolished with him still inside. He gasped and panted as the world began spinning out of control in his eyes. "STOP THIS! STOP IT NOW!" Everything froze. The pain in his head, the feeling of melting skin, everything. He looked at the television. The commercials had stopped, but the screen still showed that of a woman holding up a product in mid-speech. Somehow, it must have paused. Slowly and clumsily, Dæxx rose to his feet as he groped for the remote that lay somewhere on the couch. He pressed the play button, but nothing happened. Dead battery? I might as well go for a walk. . . He exited his mother's house and took one step before noticing something strange. A car was outside of the house, parked in the middle of the road. The headlights were on and the taillights were bright. Behind the car lay a cloud of something that reflected the light. It's not foggy out here. . . Why would. . . Dæxx squinted his eyes and realized that what he was looking at was not a render of light. It was light. It was a trace amount of light that remained within the air. Almost as if someone had taken a long exposure photograph of lights in motion. Something was wrong, something was horribly, horribly wrong here! "Oh my God! What. . . What's going on?! Why is that- Why do I see- What is this?!" He remembered, everything that Professor Evans had published in his book. . . Time travel. . . Not only did time travel mean the capability to pass through time, it also meant the control of time itself. Distorting any and all laws and properties of the physical world. Dæxx had just encountered time travel as it was declared by Evans. The physical breakdown of the world into a stopping point. The capability to travel between segments of time or none at all. Upon realization of this fact, time resumed. The car had been going 50 kilometers per hour and sped past him in less than a second. A siren was heard far off in the distance and the television resumed its commercials inside. Crickets began chirping again as Dæxx stood awestruck at what he had just witnessed. Slowly and mechanically, he stepped into the house once more and shut the door softly. His face had turned a ghostly white, and his eyes seemed to sink into his skull. He had stopped time. . . |

| Ruler of Light | Taylor was falling...surrounded by darkness...and then she was frozen. She actually didnt realize she had stopped moving, but for a brief second, she felt immobile, even her thoughts seemed frozen. Taylor awoke on the floor, pillow in tow. She looked up to see the couch, and make the quick deduction, that she had fallen off. "Wow...That was lame." She whispered to herself, being cautious not to wake the still sleeping Stavros. It was almost eight, and the sun was well set. She decided to at least get out of her bathing suit, which to her dismay, she was still in. She silently climbed the spiral staircase that lead to the next floor, where her bedroom was. Her muscles ached from the climb, but she was able to make it to her room. She closed her door, and began to change into her pajamas, which where blue and white striped boxer shorts, and a blue t shirt. When she was done, she threw her bathing suit into her bathtub to completely dry, and began to brush her knotted hair. "Boy, today sure was insane..." She mumbled to herself as her brush got stuck in a web of tangled hair. She was too busy fussing, to notice the large black spider that slowly made it's way down from the ceiling on its gossamer thread. When she finally lookep up, she gave a small shriek as it swayed in front of her. Taylor absolutely hated spiders. She stuck out her hand, trying to swat it away, and lost her balance. She crashed backwards into her bathtub, her head slamming onto the side of the tub. There was a soft squelch, and she realized she landed on her bathing suit. She rubbed her head, and looked back at the spider. Taylor gave another small shriek, her mouth gaping open in disbelief. She spider was floating in a containment of purple energy, shimmering as the light refracted off it. It just hung there, in the purple sphere, glowing and radiating. She remembered waving her hand at the spider before she fell into the tub...was this her doing? She gently raised her trembling hand up near the shpere, and waved it in a swishing motion. Instantly, the purple energy disappeared, and the spider dropped to the ground and scurried away. |

| Just Enough to Love You | Stavros opened his eyes in a haze. His head barely hurt now, That's good, I guess. . .. He looked around, but he couldn't remember where he was, That girl. . .Taylor, this must he her house. . . He looked over, across the couch, but she wasn't there anymore. He flipped open his cell phone and turned the screen sideways, Gotta love Japanese tech . . . He wasn't even that startled to see that it still worked fine, after everything. It's almost nine. . .I guess I should try to find Taylor. Or just some place out of sight. If her parents came, what would they think of me? What would I tell them? That I. . . He shook his head, No need to worry over that now, anyway. . . He stood up slowly, as to not fall over. His vision felt kinda off, but he'd be fine. He started to take a look around the first floor of the house. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | OOC: Sorry about that Kago! ----------------------------------------- "Advanced technology, supernatural powers, parallel universes, ancient magic, time travel. The others have already begun to awaken...." Sleif continued to hear the same voice within his head, day in and day out. Ever since that day with the rift. It felt like such a long time ago since then. Looking over to Siri, the two had stopped and made a fire to keep warm. Sleif knew that Siri probably had no idea about himself, whereas he always knew about her. Just prior to her appearance, the voice told Sleif that all of this was going to take place, and so when she appeared from out of nowhere, he was not at all surprised. "All will occur, as it is!" Sleif said to himself, in a daze like voice, as he looked upon the fire. |

| Ruler of Light | Taylor got out of the bathtub, her head still sore from her fall. She looked down at her hands, which refused to remain steady. "Did i just do that? Did i just..." Her voice was lying to her. She was frightened beyond belief, but she sounded calm and collected. She walked over to her sink and splashed some cold water onto her face. Unfortunately, her hands were so shaky, that she dumped the water not only on her face, but all down the front of her shirt. "Damn!" She yelled out, as the cold water soaked through her tank top, leaving her with goosebumps. She all but forgot about her previous encounter with the spider, but she did push it as far away from her thinking as she could. She slowly made her way out of the bathroom, anc changed into another tank top. She brushed her ratty hair into a high pony tail, and began to walk downstairs. "Maybe Stavros is awake now...I sure was loud enough." She mumbled, now in a bad mood. She was so busy talking to herself, that she wasnt paying attention to where she was walking downstairs, and her foot plunged downwards into open air. A quick yelp erupted from her, and she tumbled down the sprial staircase, head first, towards the ground. If Stavros isn't awake yet, he sure as hell will be now! She thought as she cascaded down the stairs, the floor getting closer and closer. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Siri kept repeating what she heard at the beach in head. "Am i crazy, or is something trying to tell me something?" Siri asked herself as she gazed at the dancing fire, and listend to the crakling of the burning wood. "The Rift!" Siri yelled in her head. "That has to be it, the theories are true. Why me, is this all a coincidence?" Siri didn't know what was going on, after all, she had no life for over a year, and she didn't remember a thing; but she didn't know that. "All will occur, as it is!" Sleif said as he sat by the fire. Siri looked at Sleif with confused look. "Do you know who i am?" Siri asked Sleif. |

"I know not alot, but I do know some!" said Sleif as he faced Siri. "I know that you have come from a parallel world, a place quite similar to this one! I know that you have no idea of how you came here, or how to return, and I know that you have had something bad happen to you, for more then a year!" said Sleif, before turning back towards the fire. |
