The Cursed: Rise of the Five Emperors

"How foolish," Kardama said, turning toward the boy that revealed himself. "Do you really wish to be dead, young one?"

Kardama raised his right hand, palm facing the boy. Nearby shadows gathered at his palm in the form of a black sphere. With a small 'hmph', Kardama let loose the shadow sphere, making it blast by the boy's head. The sphere crashed into trees behind the boy, snapping them at the base.

"I'd say you best reconcider your previous threats, boy," Kardama said, a small grin on his face. "Otherwise, we cannot be held responsible for the actions that would follow."

Apella Vocis had recently closed her eyes, but at the entrance of the new boy, she opened them. The strange thing was that when she did so, they were glazed over and white, her pupils dilated like a corpse. Reaching into the depths of her mind and memories, she quickly physically manifested a large war spear, which manifested itself with the point pointing at the new boy's forehead, centimeters from his certain death.

"I cannot allow you to do such, boy," she said, still in her ever-quiet voice. The girl's hands were in her pockets, and although her eyes quickly returned to normal, the relatively large spear hung stock-still in midair.

Rawth grinned. The newcomer was pretty angry. And Rawth fed off anger.

"Now really.... is that how we welcome newcomers? Please... if he wishes to kill us, then by all means, allow him to try. Either way, he is one of the Cursed. If he doesn't die today, he can die later."

Rawth casually held up a hand, examining it. Suddenly, his hand morphed in a paw, and from that paw, claws extended, knife-sharp and glittering in the shadow of the tree, each only about a few inches long, but long enough for him to gut a large pig easily.

"But of course, if he wishes to fight, then I will not hold back."

As always, a grin appeared on Sleifs face, as he watch the new scene unfold in front of him and the others. "Now really.... is that how we welcome newcomers? Please... if he wishes to kill us, then by all means, allow him to try. Either way, he is one of the Cursed. If he doesn't die today, he can die later." "Too true!" Sleif said in reply to Rawth.

"Now!" said Sleif as he slowly walked towards the one called Riverwood. "Would you mind telling us, Why, you have the desired need to kill us?" Sleif said, still grinning as he looked down upon Riverwood.

Ryan looked at Riverwood in surprise. He had some nerve to barge into this meeting and say he was going to kill them all. But then again, Ryan also knew he had had some nerve coming here also. If Riverwood really thought he was going to kill him, he had another thing coming to him. Closing his eyes, Ryan could see his favorite switch knife. It had a red hilt and there was a small orange dragon drawn on it. The blade was extremely sharp and it was shiny silver. Ryan always used that knife when he needed to cut something or someone. When he opened his eyes his knife 'fell' in his pocket ready for use. He hadn't actually brought the knife with him, so this was only a copy of the original. But he could use it as long as it was somewhere within the next four hours.

"Oh! Many attacks!" Riverwood said and smiled. "Nobody advocates me?!"

One of the attackers, named Kardama, raised his right hand, palm facing the boy. Nearby shadows gathered at his palm in the form of a black sphere. "Sorry! I won't reconsider my threat!" he replied to Kardana's request.

Just then, out of the blue, a large spear appeared in front of one girl. It was about to be hurled against him, but it didn't do so.

Meanwhile another boy held up his hand, examining it. Suddenly, his hand morphed in a paw, and from that paw, claws extended, knife-sharp and glittering in the shadow of the tree, each only about a few inches long, but long enough for him to gut a large pig easily.

"Oops! Another enemy!" Riverwood muttered.

"Now!" said Sleif as he slowly walked towards the him. "Would you mind telling us, Why, you have the desired need to kill us?

Riverwood grinned as he heard that. "I won't tell you!"

Finally, in front of one of them, appeared a knife. He had the same ability as the girl with the spear. The knife had a red hilt and there was a small orange dragon drawn on it. The blade was extremely sharp and it was shiny silver.

"Well... Excuse me, but I will retreat for now!" he announced. "I can't beat you all together!" he turned behind and he started running through the deep forests. "I hope that they won't chase me!" he wished as he kept running trying to go away from them, at least for now.

OOC: My computer is still "kaput" so this is why my posts are frequent and crappy...

"If I may..." Rawth said quietly, "I wish to adjorn from this Council. I have many matters to attend to, and I will not hide the fact that one of them is related to the newcomer. I bid thee farewell." He finished, and slipped quietly into the night.

His beast senses were attuned to the night, and he was able to track Riverwood's path, following him through the deep forests. Through the thick trees, he heard... "I hope they won't chase me..."
He gave one last burst of speed, and appeared beside him, grinning.
"Too late."

"However, I am not here to kill you... I have a proposal. Are you interested?"

Riverwood was running when he sniffed that someone was near. Suddeny, while he wasn't prepared to fight, a man appeared behind him. He wasn't too fast to dive and dodge.

"Too late." he announced. "However, I am not here to kill you... I have a proposal. Are you interested?" he questioned him.

"Y-You are the one with the claws from behind! Back then you wanted to kill me, but now you want to have a proposal with me?!" Riverwood wasn't sure if this was a trap!

Without losing time he turned behind and he tried to punch him in the face. "Why should I believe you?!" he said simultaneously.

Rawth felt Riverwood's anger directed towards him, and expected an attack.

He wasn't dissapointed.
Riverwood tried to punch him, but Rawth easily leaned his head to the side, barely moving his body, and grabbed his fist.

"Now... if you can't be civilized, I will force you to be. It seems that you cannot control your anger, but I can control it for you if you want..."

"And you misunderstood me back at the Council. I said that if you are trying to pick a fight, I will join for the sake of the fight, not because I do not like you. In fact, I support your cause. I have some.... 'friends'.... of mine that have gone missing, through the actions of the Emporers, I do not know, but either way, I have no love for them.

I will help you bring them down, if you wish it."
