"Yes!" She whispered in a muffled tone, taking care not to make any unnecessary sounds. The bar with the crack had widened, almost split from end to end. The bars of the cage were spaced wide enough that, just possibly, if she sucked in enough, she might be able to worm her way out by removing only one bar. She carefully stole a glance over her shoulder. Slief was gone, as was Shuyin. Naruma was...well, she didnt know where he was at the moment. but, she was making progress, and that was what mattered most at the moment.

I wonder where Alex is...Is he coming? She thought as she lazilly posistioned her body in front of the damaged bar. She would have continued her work, but she was sleepy and hungry. Her stomach growled with a loud roar, and she realized she hadn't eaten in almost 2 days. "Whatever..." She mumbled as she pocketed her nail and clasped her hands together in her lap, softly singing an old lullaby to herself.

Naruma emerged from the shadows of a building an walked towards the cell holding Sonara. A megre plate of food on it's surface. consisting of two boiled potato's, a large piece of what appeared to be meat and a few strained vegetables. "Wouldn't want you to starve on us now, now would we?" He managed to get the plate though the bars and onto the floor. He pulled a sharp knife from his pocket and threw it so that it sat point down into the floor. He threw a fork carelessly inside. "I wouldn't think of escaping, There will always be a pair of eye's on you." he said pointing to his own before turning and moving back and disappearing once again into the shadows.

Shuyin we've got a small problem. thought Julia as she regained contact with Shuyin, she hadn't said anything in the past few minutes because she had been trying to get in contact with him. Those elementalists are back. Shuyin turned and said to Naruma who was in the shadows.
"Didn't you tell them they'd get the body?" he questioned.
A burning ember now puncuated the darkness. "Yes. I did. Why?"
"They're attacking Julia and Alex now."
"Well... I guess Julia has the method to retrive him right?" said Naruma.
"Yes..Why not?"
Shuyin turned. Julia, Get him out of there, I need him alive.

Right. Thought Julia as she decended the path towards the now destroyed elevator lift. She looked down the elevator shaft. "Well I guess I gotta take a leap of faith." She leaped off the top and down into the dark abyss.

Landing on all fours in front of Alex. She flicked her hair up, her eye's staring coldly into her adversary. She drew her hand back and removed her dagger. She stood up and calmly palmed Alex behind her. Blocking the Elementalists vision. "You want him. You'll have to got though me first. You've been told. You'll get your body when we're good and ready. As you have been told before. once the boy has fused with Sin. You'll get what you want. I also wouldn't try attacking us either. I have a Tetra Barrier in place,"

Suddenly, he grabbed Julia's dagger and raised it at her throat. "Where is Sonara? Where is Shuyin. WHERE IS SIN!?" he said, grabbing her neck with his demon arm.


"You want him. You'll have to got though me first. You've been told. You'll get your body when we're good and ready. As you have been told before. once the boy has fused with Sin. You'll get what you want. I also wouldn't try attacking us either. I have a Tetra Barrier in place," the woman said. The whited haired man laughed.
"You believed it wise to stay near the monster near an aeon!?" he shouted.

The crys from before began again, and he felt a flow of energy come from the room behind. He threw Julia to the grund and walked over to the Chamber of the Fayth. He touched the door with his demon hand, in which it responded violently and tried to stop itself opening before it gave up. A statue stood in the center. The screams were even louder. Vioently, he broke the statue. A little girl appeared, and quickly, disappeared into his arm.

"As I said, he is a blood relative on sin. He, too, can absorb aeons like Sin can with the Final Aeon." the man laughed. "Human, you have seen your end.". He said before disappearing. If this was the power Alex received from one Aeon... he would be unstopable. What if he waited until he absorbed more. Then, he could use him to take over the world on his own. Alex could be his minion.

Alex's body felt like it always did when his Feral state took over. However, the outcome changed. A wing appeared over his non-fiend hand. "Where is she?" he said, angrily.

Sonara greedily attacked the food, her hunger overwhelming now. Whatever she was eating, it was a little bit good. She eyed the spot catiously where Naruma had disappeared into the darkness, remembering his threat.

"I wouldn't think of escaping, There will always be a pair of eye's on you."

It was a harsh, cold promise, and one he probably intended on keeping. How was she supposed to escape now? Perhaps he was just scaring her, but perhaps not. She didnt want to risk anything, so, for the moment, her plan was prolonged. When she could eat no more, she moved back against the cracked bar, and curled into a ball. She dipped her head into the cradle she made with her knees, and fell into a nightmarish sleep.

"Where is she?" Alex said, as a wing appeared on his non-fiend hand. "Where else do you think she is!" a voice said throughout the ice covered chamber, before a dark portal appeared, and Sleif walked out a few feet in front of Alex.

"Hello Alex, good to see you again!" Sleif said to Alex, turning slightly around to see Julia. "And Julia, you too!" said Sleif, turning back around to Alex.
"It seems, you have not controlled yourself, but rather you have allowed it to control you!" Sleif said to Alex, as he walked closer to him.

"She misses you greatly! You do know that right?"said Sleif, standing now a few feet away from Alex.

"Hello Alex, good to see you again!" said a familiar voice. He turned around, growling. Sleif.
"It seems, you have not controlled yourself, but rather you have allowed it to control you!".

He raised the wing for attack... "She misses you greatly! You do know that right?". He stopped. He glared at Sleif.
"Sleif, why?" he asked. "Why all this? Why Sonara? Why me!?"

Ryoji steps up and finds a mysterious picture.It was a blank photo filled with nothing inside.He took the photo and a big white light flashed in his eyes.A voice called him saying "This is your destiny go forth!He was knocked unconcious and saw nothing but darkness.When he awoke,He was in another unfamiliar place.

"Where am I?"he thought to himself.He had seen people riding on birds in the air greeting each other."Hello!"he called.He waited for an answer.

"Sleif, why? Why all this? Why Sonara? Why me!?" Alex said, after he stopped the beginning of his attack on Sleif.
At that moment, Sleif was already in front of Alex, holding another one of the large syringes, which he stabbed into Alex's wing.

"That should give you some control for some time now!" Sleif said to Alex, just before he leaped backwards, away from him.
"I'm sorry to do this Alex! But I must test you your strength now!" said Sleif as he raised his hand towards Alex.

With that, no spells, no hand movements, no chants of any kind, in that moment of raising his hand, the aeon Dark Shiva instantly appeared in front of Sleif, before she herself snapped her fingers, causing the ice shards left behind by the elementalist, to rise and shoot at Alex.

Julia felt her legs give out from under her as she was thrown to the ground, Being winded as she hit the ground, She didn't hear what the elementalists said before he left. That stupid brat, she had been trying to protect him and help him find Sonara, But now, he could do it on his own. She heard Sliefs voice, she woke with a start and stood up next to Slief, "Sliefy," she said gripping his arm softly, "Be careful," she smiled evily, "I don't want you to break him before I get to have fun with him too." She laughed playfully, before she disappeared in a thin smoke.

"What happened Julia?" demanded Shuyin as Julia appeared in front of Sonara's cage,"I had a little trouble, That stupid boy, he knew that I was with you from when we were in Bevelle somehow, He tricked me and took my knife then demanded me to tell him where we were hiding,"
"Did you tell him?" asked Shuyin,
"No, of course not," answered Julia, "But why send Slief?"
"I didn't, he went of his own accord," said Shuyin casually,
A burning ember once again illuminated the darkness, "That boy, he's something else." Mused Naruma looking over to the cage that held a sleeping Sonara, "I wonder, If she knows, how much he is willing to sacrifice to save her, His resolve must be strong to be still searching for possible answers to our location."
"Never-the-less, the fact remains that we still have to deal with him," said Shuyin finally, standing up and walking over to the cage and looking at Sonara though the bars, "He still has a lot to learn before he will be able to save her."

Sleif had done it again, another pierce appeared swiftly on his wing. Which started ti fade.
"I'm sorry to do this Alex! But I must test you your strength now!" he said. Alex gritted his teeth, raising his sword. But Sleif just raised his hand. Another aeon. Shiva. Suddenly, she snapped her fingers and sent shards of ice towards Alex. Where is she? He felt the thought go through his head. Shard's pierced into him, but he still walked. The feeling grew more. The pain disappeared. He felt a pierce hit through his stomache, and he collapsed. Thesword from before landed next to him, stabbing through a rat. He breathed heavily, holding his wound and then closed his eyes and smiled.

OOC: Sonara is gonna attempt an escape, but you guys can catch her again. She just got bored of being in a cage all day XD

Her nightmares were getting worse, each darker and more frigtening that the last. They were twisted full of evil and cruelty, winding around her conscience like a snake. Finally, she awoke out of pure terror, her auburn hair matted down around her, sweat glistening on her skin. She had heard voices, probably those of Shuyin and Naruma, but nobody seemed to be near her now. Naruma's threat echoed inside her head, his deadly promise about always watching her made her shiver in fear.

But it was empty now, and this was her chance for escape. She carefully crawled to the back end of the cage, pushing all her weight against the damaged bar. She felt it give just a bit, before the inhuman screech of tearing metal shrouded the room. She stopped instantly, peering around to see if the noise had roused anybody, but the coast was clear. She once again pushed on the cracked bar, putting all her effort into it, until it snapped like a twig, the twang of metal rebounding across the room.

The bar had been cut in half, so she would have to duck down, as well as suck in, to get through the hole. She pulled in a deep breath, before sucking in her stomach and begining to climb out. Her upper body slid through smoothly and easily, and she was almost through, when her hips were caught. "Oh great!" She mouthed out, taking care not to actually say anything. She looked for any type of leverage, but there was known. She gritted her teeth, and wiggled her legs, and after a moment of pain, she was free!

She slowly stood up, flexing her legs, then eyed the door suspiciously. Finally, she was overwhelmed with excitement, and she burst through the door, out into a cold, clouded day. "YES!" She said aloud to herself. "I'm free!" And she began to run down a narrow street, never looking back behind her. She didnt know where she was going, and this was like no city she had ever seen before, but she continued to sprint at top speed, her freedom fueling her energy.

Naruma's voice echoed inside her head as ran further from her captors and closer to what seemed to be a chance to reunite with Alex once again. The echo of bootsteps resounded in front of her as a man cloaked in shadow emerged from an alleyway. His right hand atop the handle of his sword. "I thought the idea of an escape was not to alert the people guarding you. Also what is the point of escaping when you don't even have a weapon." A closer look at his waist would have indicated to her that he was carrying her sword, "I'm not the kind of person that leaves prisoner's weapons unattended, I keep them, like trophies, they tend to come in very handy." he tapped her weapon. Looking at her with a mark of satisfaction on his face as he stood there, "I suggest you come along quietly, I don't want to overdo it and kill you. Would be a waste of my time and resources."

Shuyin had already caught up with her, and was now standing behind her, he touched her softly on the shoulder, "Sleep." he said quietly to her. Picking her tiny frame up and putting her over his shoulder he began to walk back the other holding cell, he turned to face Naruma. "Nice work, boy."
"It is my pleasure Master." replied Naruma as he disappeared once again into the shadows.

Lowering his hand, Dark Shiva instantly stopped her attack on Alex, causing the remaining ice shards to fall on the ground, shattering the floor as they did.
Walking slowly over to Alex, Sleif noticed that he had collapsed on the ground, and had some of the ice shard embedded in him.

Towering over him, Sleif bended down, and took out of of the larger shards, which had pierced his stomach. After he took out the ice, the wound started to miraculously heal itself. "Must be his other sides doing!" Sleif thought, a she began to walk away from Alex, and returned to behind Shiva.

"We will begin again, as soon as you are ready!" Sleif said over to Alex, knowing that even if he was unconscious, he could still hear him.

"We will begin again, as soon as you are ready!". Alex hadn't been counting on that. With him dead, he should have had no problem taking him to where Shuyin was hiding. He jumped up.
"Fine, I'll play you're stupid game!" he said frowning, and raising his sword in an offensive position. "But, you're pathetic if you're hiding behind your aeons for support!"

"Fine, I'll play you're stupid game! But, you're pathetic if you're hiding behind your aeons for support!" Alex said, rage in his voice as he raised his sword to attack.

Stopping upon hearing this, Sleif looked at Alex, with a deathly seriousness. "Trust me, when I say this Alex! That this is me holding back!" said Sleif, as he waved his hand over Dark Shiva sending her away, before instantly the aeon Dark Ifrit appeared in the area, with its dark fire blazing from it.

"Meteor Strike!" Sleif said to it, causing Ifrit to summon two humongous dark fire balls, which launched themselves towards Alex.
As they made their way towards him, Dark Ifrit was already in the air, with its claws stretched, ready to slice Alex.
