Travels of The Benders

A young boy wandered through the streets of the town named Kiaki. He was wearing a black long coat with a hood. The boy was wearing the black hood so his face wasn't recognizable. The only visible element on him was the slightly long, blonde hair that resided on the top of his scalp. His hair had a few slightly darker colored locks. They probably came from his father's gene pool.

Beside him a fox was walking. The fox was so beautiful that most of the residents of the town were watching it, admitting it's beauty. The fox's fur was very clean and a little fluffy. It's fur color was a mixture of orange and red color except for the area under its stomach which was white and for its ears, which were black. Kornilios, the fox's name, was observing the resident's moves. After all he, cause the fox was male, wasn't so friendly with humans. If someone would do a quick move then the fox was ready to attack. Even if someone seemed hostile, Kornilios would attack as well. This was the reason why the young boy had tied a rope around his pet's neck; in order to control it.

The boy and his pet was walking together. The residents were watching them . Other watched because they were curious. Other because in their point of view the newcomers were suspicious.

The two of them were walking for a few minutes, about 5, when they reached the town's harbor. Many ships had set anchor along the harbor. The wind was blowing, creating some small waves. The ocean seemed to echo with the life of waves and fish. The cloths of the ships were dancing in the breeze's rhythm.

The boy scanned all the ships. Then, after a few seconds, he turned to his pet. "We need to find a proper ship. Don't you think?" he said to Kornilios. The young fox nodded.

OOC: This is the opening. I hope it is okay! For now you can do what you want. Like for example exploring the town.

Ryu was training or as his pet kage called fighting with some thugs in a empty field outside a town named Kiaki. creating a fire wall around the field so the thugs couldn’t escape Ryu gave a cocky smile, "well boys I told you if you wanted to fight you would have to be ready to get burned". Ryu said as he lit 2 fire balls in his hands. his pet kage just sat there looking at Ryu and shacking his head knowing that his master could go a little over board.

The thugs were now looking like they were going to wet them selves as they were shacking and trying to think of a way out of this mess, one of the thugs reached into his pockets and threw a bag of gold at Ryu and goten his knees, "please take this as a token of how sorry were are" The thug said as the other 3 soon followed in begging, Sighing Ryu made the fire wall disappear and the balls of fire in his head disappear too. "Well I guess I can forgive you guys" Ryu said picking up the bag of gold and walking back over to his pet and smiling as they walked back to town.

when they got to the town Ryu started to throw the bag of gold in the air as he talked to kage "so what do ya think kage was that smooth or was that smooth" Ryu said throwing the bag of gold up and down. "Ya know it wasn’t smart to use your fire bending in front of those thugs" kage said knowing that more people might try to come and fight Ryu. Ryu just shrugs as they kept walking to the town's harbor the they could find a boat.

From a darkened alleyway, two glowing blue eyes watched as a man and his pet fox, walked through the streets, gaining many odd stares from the passers by.
"Thats quite odd!" the creature, possible a lizard, thought, as it stuck to the wall of the alley. After a few more minutes, the lizard was about to leave until it heard voices, coming from the street again.

"Ya know it wasn’t smart to use your fire bending in front of those thugs" Quickly turning, the lizard saw another strange sight. This time it was a man and a wolf, the difference from the previous group was that this pet talked.

Running along the wall, the lizard retreated back into the darkness of the alley, easily able to navigate through the dark.
A moment later, the lizard stopped and landed onto the ground in front of a tall man. "What have you found, Kuromori!" Sleif said to his loyal pet.

"I have something strange. Two groups have arrived, both are of two, each with a pet!" Kuromori said to his master.
"Good. Where are they heading as of now!" Sleif asked Kuromori. "They seem to be heading to the harbor!" Kuromori replied.

"Let us go and see them, then!" With that, both Sleif and Kuromori walked out into one of the many streets, that led to the harbor.

Niraku looked at the captain of the ship as it came into harbor. This was time it would be another hour to shore and the sailors would have to be forced to swim back to the other harbor. Only three men were there. Niraku jumped up and kicked the captain in the face then threw him off the boat. The other two men were easily pushed over the edge. He got to work piloting the ship and he got it to the harbor. Stealing the boat had been easier than he had thought. He rememberd the orders he was supposed to steal a jewel from some sorceress. He pulled into the harbor and he saw a boy with a hood over his face standing there looking at the boats. " Hey you! Want this boat?" There was no reason in keeping the boat seeing as he wouldn't be going back therer for a long time he had to return to Concadia. That boy seemed like he wanted it.

Victor walked down the streets of Kiaki. It was very lively today, on a nice warm sunny day. Victor turned around as he saw 4 thugs running into town as if something was after them. They seemed very frightened and they collapsed in front of Victor. Victor looked at them as if they were idiots but they started yelling, "HELP! THERE IS SOME GUY WHO CAN MAKE FIRE! HE WAS ABOUT TO BURN US!" and then they ran off again. Victor just ignored what happened and made his way down the street. "Victor... i have a feeling you aren't the only one with this unusual power" said Bobo, his dog. "Yeah... if those 4 idiots were telling the truth, i might meet some interesting people" said Victor "Hm.. im kinda hungry... lets get something to eat." Victor and Bobo went into a nearby stand and he ordered some food. Victor ate hasitly and made his way down the street again. "Bobo, lets take this alley, it'll lead us faster into our destination" said Victor. They went into the alley. While they were walking, a thief popped out with a dagger and ordered Victor to give him all his money. Victor immediately grabbed him by the neck and pinned him to the wall. Victor's hands began to burn with fire and then the thief's body instantly was engulfed with fire. In a matter of seconds, the body was reduced into ashes. "Master... just killing people like that is a bad habit..." said Bobo. "I dont like when people get in my way" said Victor with a stern voice. Victor came out of the alley and found himself at the harbor, his destination. He made himself to a bench and sat down waiting to see what will happen...

Ryu and kage were walking around the harbor and saw a boat pull into the dock deciding that this would be a perfect boat to steel until he saw some man attack and throw the crew off the boat. "great now we gotta take this boat the hard way" Ryu said to kage as he made to fireballs in his hands, "you ready kage?" the teenager asked his pet, "ready as I'm going to be" Kage said now lighting his paws on fire.

Ryu started to run towards the boat as saw the man in the red coat again looking at the boats, Jumping onto the boat Ryu took his sword out and ran up to the man standing on the boat and placed his sword against his neck. "well I think I might want this boat so you might want to leave this boat” Ryu said as kage started to growl at the man.

It was a bright spring morning, with a gentle breeze stroking the faces of the people in the city. A breeze which brought a strange feeling within it. A feeling of waiting, of tempered desire for adventure. Off course, most people didn't even notice it, they just continued there daily lives as always, not wondering about this breeze.

Only one man did. He sat with bended knees near a tree outside his house, listening, reaching for this wind. His bare feet where buried half into the ground, his skin and clohtes were filthy of mud. It was a bit of a strange man, this one, the other citizens thought, but he wouldn't care. He didn't care for what other people thought about him. He was who he was.

After a while the young man stood up, grabbed the stone sword which leaned against the tree, and began to walk. He lived in that house with an old man, also a bit strange, but he didn't seem to care about warning the man where he went. He just stood up and left, not to return for a very long while, he knew. For the wind and the earth had asked of him to travel, to another town which he suddenly knew was named Kaiki. He knew that town, it was close to the sea not far from the city. His destination was set.

After he left the village he raised his hand and hold it still in front of him. He mumbled some words as wood began to grow from the ground. After a minute the wood had the form of a regular walkingstick, or maybe more like a staff. The man grabbed it and used it to help him climb the hill he was traveling upon.

'Come on, boy, let's be on our way.' Graham said in thoughs to his companian, which however, was no where to be seen.

A young girl about ten years of age wearing a dark green dress and a bonnet was running for her life. Behind her were troops from the enemies army. The Emperor had warned her that she risked the chance of getting caught if she did this mission. But Madison was determined. The Zoom's had been causing the kingdom trouble for ages. They had just declared war on the Emperor's nation and he wasn't too happy about it. Madison had volunteered to get information on their battle plans so that the army would be prepared, but now she had gotten herself in a big mess. Sandy it looks like I've gotten myself in some trouble now. Madison thought. Sandy had been following in the trees, waiting for a chance to help her master. Sandy was a a marten. She wasn't too big so she could get into places easily. She had been keeping watch over Madison ever since her parents had perished in the last epidemic. No one knew what had happened to her brother. Up ahead was a clearing so Madison headed for that. As soon as she turned around Sandy fell out of the trees to land behind the men. Madison and Sandy trapped the soldiers in a prison made out of fire. Madison created one half and Sandy the other. The men looked frightened.
"Little girl I'm sorry. We didn't mean no harm. That dreadful King of ours made us do it." Pleaded one of the soldiers.
"Yeah, he made us do it. Please let us go." One of the other soldiers pleaded.
Madison considered the soldiers for a moment before answering.
"If I let you go do you promise not to chase me anymore?" The little girl asked.
"Yes, yes we promise." The third soldier replied.
"And do you promise not to tell your King that I was ever here?" Madison asked giggling.
"Yes, Yes!" The men replied.
"Okay then!" Madison said happily. Dancing around in a circle giggling, Madison made the prison disappear almost as quickly as it had appeared. The soldiers didn't waste time and ran back to their base as fast as their legs could carry them.
That was fun and exciting! Madison thought dancing over to Sandy.
Maybe it was but the Emperor is going to be expecting a full report so we should be getting back to the palace. Then we need to set out on our journey. Sandy replied. Madison stopped dancing and looked at Sandy inquiringly. What journey? Sandy smiled. All I know is that we need to get to a place called Kiaki. So you will have to let the dear Emperor know that you will be leaving for a while.
Madison was still puzzled, but she didn't ask any more questions. She scooped up sandy and stomped her feet twice to take her back to the palace.

OOC: Darkkeyblade123 I assume that you are reffering to nobodyking's character. I am saying this cause Nikaru doesn't have a red coat.

The young hooded boy noticed a man on a boat coming towards his direction. After coming closer he spoke to him.

"Hey you! Want this boat?" the man asked.

He didn't reply. He just studied the man or better the boy. His age looked around 13 or 14 years old.

At this point, out of the blue, another young man, probably teenager, started to run towards the boat. Jumping onto the boat he took his sword out and ran up to the man standing on the boat and placed his sword against his neck.

"Well I think I might want this boat so you might want to leave this boat” he said.

All these happened so quickly. Kyriakos wasn't sure what he should do. Should he help anyone of the two. Or should he keep a neutral attitude? "I don't know!" he complained to himself in a tone only he could hear.

Meanwhile Kornilios started growling.

Kuromori walked beside his master Sleif, as both of them entered the harbor from one of the many darkened alleys.
Walking beside the boats, Sleif noticed Kuromori beginning to get a little agitated. A moment later, Kuromori dashed away from Sleif before coming across a red fox.

Both animals growled at each other, and it looked like that at any second, either of them would attack. "Kuromori, stop it now!" Sleif said to Kuromori, causing him to back away from Kornilios. "I'm sorry!" Kuromori said to Sleif as it lowered his head to the ground in an apology.

"Don't worry! I'm not angry!" Sleif replied to Kuromori, before turning his attention towards the owner of the fox.
"I am sorry, for Kuromori to be so rude, towards your fox!" Sleif said to the man.

OOC: Ok, I can't post in the OOC thread cause I would be double posting, but please guys, refrain from powerplaying, it is really annoying.

Nobodyking: Like I said, you can't say from someone else if he wants it or seemed to want it.

Sephiroth2: Saying both animals started grwoling is powerplaying, you can just as easily say: 'Kuromori started growling at the fox of the man.' or 'Kuromori started growling at the fox who was already growling.' because Wasilis only said the fox growled, not at what or whom.

The young man named Graham walked around the corner of the hill. He had a wooden stick in his hand, helping him to walk, and he wore a huge stone sword on his back. He had been walking for about three hours now, but didn't seem tired in the least bit. Behind him ran a pitchblack wolf, which soon caught up to him.

'Where have you been, my friend?'

The man said to the wolf through thoughts. The wolf was Nighteyes, his friend and companion since nearly 2 years now.

'I was chasing just chasing some prey, I didn't want to make you wait, Grey.'

The wolf replied to him, slowing down his pace to walk next to Graham.

'No problem my friend. We will arrive in the town of Kaiki within this hour already, so spare your energy from now on. The wind wasn't in a good mood today, I think something is happening over there.'

The wolf replied only with a small growl. The man and wolf continued to walk the road they had been walking on, as soon the town of Kiaki came into view.

Madison and Sandy went to the Emperor at the palace. They gave him a thorough report about what the other army was planning. Despite the fact that Madison had ran into some trouble, she was able to get some good information first. The Emperor told her she did a good job and that she and Sandy would be rewarded with their favorite meal of fried chicken tonight.
I'm happy that we get a reward for our hard work Sandy. Madison said to Sandy as she skipped down the palace hall to her room.
A treat is always nice. Sandy mused. But you still forgot to tell the Emperor that we would be leaving first thing tomorrow morning.
Madison stopped skipping and immediately turned around and hightailed it back to the Emperor's rooms. She rapped on the door hard and one of the servants looking puzzled opened the door. At first he didn't see anyone until he looked down and saw Madison standing there out of breathe.
"The Emperor is busy right now with an important visitor." The servant said with a sign of disapproval in his voice.
"I have to talk to him right now! If you don't let me talk to him I'm going to scream." Madison warned him.
The servant rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Oh, alright!" He snapped. "No need to get hasty."
He stood aside and let Madison enter. He gave Sandy a look of disgust because he didn't like animals. Sandy rubbed against his leg on purpose. The servant went red with fury and stormed out of the room in anger.
Sandy, behave. Madison warned.
I will if he does. Sandy replied indifferent.
Madison explained the situation to the Emperor. He said he would be sad to see her go, but knew it had to be done. The next morning Madison and Sandy set out for Kiaki town.

Kornilios and Kyriakos, his master, realized that a fox and a man behind him were dashing towards their direction. When they reached them, the man's fox, probably his pet, began growling as well as Kornilios did.

Both animals growled at each other, and it looked like that at any second, either of them would attack. "Kuromori, stop it now!" Sleif said to Kuromori, causing him to back away from Kornilios. "I'm sorry!" Kuromori said to Sleif as it lowered his head to the ground in an apology.

"Don't worry! I'm not angry!" Sleif replied to Kuromori, before turning his attention towards the owner of the fox.

"I am sorry, for Kuromori to be so rude, towards your fox!" Sleif said to the man.

Kyriakos removed the black hood he was wearing. His face revealed. His head was angular in shape with unkempt, slightly long, blonde hair residing on the top of his scalp. His hair reached just a few centimeters from the base of his neck. His hair also had a few slightly darker colored locks that came from his father’s gene pool. He had cerulean blue colored eyes, although they became green because of his contact lenses. They couldn't, however, hide the small shine in his eyes whenever he talked about animals. He had a slightly small nose and shallow cheeks. He had thin lips, and hiding behind them were pearly white teeth.

Kyriakos' face became red. After all he wasn't used in meeting new people and becoming friends with them. After all he didn't want this. He wanted studying animals all the day and discovering new things. Not making new friends!

"Stop!" he ordered and his pet immediately stopped growling. After that he sat next to his master and he rubbed his face against his master's right leg.

"Sorry!" he said and scratched his head. "My name is Kyriakos. I know this is a strange name name, but whatever!" he sctretched his hand to shake Sleif's hand.

Meanwhile the two men were still on the boat. However Kyriakos didn't help neither of them. He didn't want t interfere. This wasn't his business! The first one had placed his sword against the other's neck, while the second one hadn't made any move yet.

Niraku was a white-haired teenager with another teenager having a sword to his thorat. NIraku wasn't going to just give this boat up this other teen waas gonna have it first. "Brasiel Now!" He said. Niraku's trusted ferret jumped down onto his shoulder. Niraku jumped back and into the air. Pulling out what seemed to be a huge rod he opened it up and it was a huge fan almost as big as Niraku himself. NIraku held it in his hands placed openly behind his back. "This boat is mine you will never get it now leave or I will kill you." Niraku stated easily. "Watch out he might be tougher than he looks"Brasiel said. "I know I'm always on my guard he might have some treasure with him and then we can pick up that kid who wants to boat then I'll let him take him where he wants to go it could involve some new adventures."Niraku replied. "And what if Boss gets mad he was expecting you months ago we've been gone for almost a year now."Brasiel said. "WEll then it won't hurt to just postpone going back seeing as I'll be there for quite a long time with the shortage in treasures." Niraku then said. Brasiel then climbed into Niraku's jacket and postioned herself to hang her head and paws over the front side.

Mary walks out of the forrests exsausted from the traveling and a verry irritable cat follows.
"I dont see why we couldent have just traveld by shadows!" Shadow complaind
"because its healthy." She said for the upteenth time that day.
"what are we doing here anyway?" He asked
" i feel a strange pull to this area. i cannt describe it though." She sighed, she continued to walk to town and down the streets hoping to find some reason why she was here.
