Brasiel morhped back into a ferret and jumped into NIraku's jacket. "Sounds great my name is Niraku and this here is Brasiel. Look um.... we need to leave and fast we are attracting way too much attention so um.. lets get this boat going."Niraku said it fast. He jumped down to the ground and he looked at the boy. Then Brasiel jumped out of his jacte and walked up to Ryu and said,"If your furball touches me again I'll rip it's lungs out, and it is nice to meet you Ryu."She then jumped on a sail and began to lay down. Niraku smiled that wass reucurring way that Brasiel dealt with things. Niraku then cut the rope keeping the boat there hoping all those that were watching hadn't planned on fighting, he then thought about the man that had been trying to help him. He jumped off the boat and ran towards him his fan strapped behind his back and tied up. "you sir would you like to come with us?" Whoever this guy was he must have thought Niraku was a weeny who couldn't defend himself while NIraku was about to kill the other boy, it might be best to have some other muscle with them."I don't know where we are going but you look like you need an adventure and thankyou for defending me but I'm fine by myself."He smiled friendly like and waited for the man's replly.

Ryu ran a hand threw his air as he saw Niraku accept his deal and start going towards the man that attacked him, he also heard Niraku's pet threaten Kage and he just laughed. "looks like you got a new friend kage" Ryu said as he put the wolf on his head. "Whatever Ryu lets just make sure we all stay friends" the Wolf said as he went on the boat, "Whatever you say old friend" The now laughing teenager said as he followed the wolf on the boat. Ryu took the bandages off his arms and looked at the cuts and other marks on them before putting them into the water, "dang that feels good, Hey kage try not to drink this water will ya" Ryu said to the wolf rembering when he drank salt water and started to act like he was on cactus juice.
Ryu took some other bandages out of his pocket and retied his arms then he turned around and looked at all the people that have showed up watching the fight. "Okay everyone were not fighting anymore so in lese your here cause you wanna get in the boat get lost" The teen said looking at everyone, "Are you trying to tick more people off Ryu?" kage said to the teen which only got a shrug from Ryu.

NIraku walked away from the man if he wanted to get on the boat he could he returned to Ryu. "Hey lets be nice about it. And you can ignore Brasiel she really probably likes Kage just a weird way of showing it."NIraku smiled. Brasiel jumped down off the sail and truned to Ryu,"So where do you plan on takingus me and NIraku need to get back soon?" "NO we don't we are fine just tell us where we are going."Niraku interupted Brasiel. He didn't know why she was so bent on going home when clearly an adventure was in front of them.

Ryu just rubped the back of his head and just smiled, "Well me and kage are looking for some place called Cursed Island" Kage walked over to Brasiel and decided to ask it something "Were is for you to anyway?" Ryu heard the Kage asked the other pet someting but he was more concerd about comething else, "when we were fighting you did some things with that wand, what the heck was it? Ryu asked looking at the younger teen.

Mary walked though the night, sudenly aware that someone was following her. she turned a corner and waited for the boy to turn. "who are you?" she demanded she noticed her cat behind him hissing sickeningly

Elias' monstrous brick did not go unnoticed, most especially by the fighters. many people needlessly jumped further away form it, and the combatants immediately brought their tussle to a close. Elias was rather surprised at how readily the two ceased their fighting, and at how eagerly the fan-wielder left the boat and approached him. He couldn't have been a child of more than 13, at best, leaving quite a few questions regarding his abilities. That fan seemed awfully large for such a child to wield and how he managed o straight up at all with that thing on his back was perplexing.

"You, sir, would you like to come with us? I don't know where we are going but you look like you need an adventure, and thank you for defending me but I'm fine by myself."

Had this child's parents taught to never speak to strangers, especially those who were capable of removing and flinging large stones without ever touching them? Granted, Elias didn't truthfully expect the boy's parents to mention that last part, but one would assume that it would be common knowledge. Needless to say, yet worthy of mentioning regardless, Elias was confused at the boy's eagerness. For a moment, he was silent, caught off-guard.

Apparently, this moment of silence was affirmation enough for the young boy, who made a prompt about face, and started to return from whence he came. Elias stood there for a moment, contemplating his options. Option A involved residing in a city in which he was a complete newcomer, surrounded by strangers, and without the certainty of finding a job. Option B involved him following the young boy, for children certainly shouldn't be going on trans-national adventures by themselves, and experiencing life on the high seas, if only for a short while. Option C involved a moose, blueberries, and a trebuchet. It was also highly irrelevant to the situation at hand, but Elias often found himself thinking of such things whenever his mind resigned itself to wander.

"Hey, wait! I'll come, I suppose."

Elias, being quite a bit taller than the young boy and, therefore, with longer legs, caught up to his juvenile acquaintance rather rapidly. He walked alongside the boy, looking down at him through his warm brown eyes.

"You really have no idea where you're going?"

Previously unaware of the existence of the fire-wielder, Elias granted him a quick nod, his truncated version of a polite "hello", and waited for a reply from either of the teenagers.

The two had finished eating their meal and had set out to explore the rest of the town. But now it was getting late and Madison and Sandy were getting tired.
Maybe we should find a place to stay for the night. Madison said to Sandy yawning as she turned the corner of the street.
That's a good idea, but what place is safe for a child of your age? Sandy asked worried.
She knew her master was tired, but she was a little girl. And not every place was safe for a little girl after dark.
"Who are you?" A woman asked a boy not too far from them.
Sandy immediately gripped her master's skirts in her mouth and began leading her behind the buildings for cover. The woman who had spoken was wearing a green robe. But Sandy couldn't see much about her in the dark besides that. She just hoped that she could get Madison out of here unnoticed. Apparently the boy that was following that woman had some kind of malicious intent, and Sandy didn't want to stay to find out what it was.

Niraku stared blankly at the boy and he didn't want to answer, "WE can't waste time when we get the ship going then we can talk."He watched as the young man had already caught up to him. Brasiel left Kage for the moment to greet the new comer. She jumped up onto NIraku's shoulder and nodded her head to say hi. "So we are going to a place called Cursed Island it sounds like fun what do you think. Oh and whats your name again?"NIraku said to the man. NIrakujumped ontothe boat,"Let's untie this baby anyone else up for an adventure?" he said to the crowd that was dying down.The more the merrier was what NIraku thought.

the boy didnt say anything and the woman realesed him gaining her composer once again. the long night is leaving her on the edge and tired. "I'm sorry." she sighed. Shadow continued to stalk behind her in the shadows but he looked up as if something has caught his attention. "i have had a verry long night and i dont wish to fight now. I'm here to do somthing and im not sure what. you seem to know something otherwise you wouldent be following me. would you please tell me what." she straitend her robes and looked at her cat curiosly. "by the way my name is Mary."

Grey had just left the pub, spying around for the girl and her cat, when she turned around and now stood before him. She asked who he was, but Grey was a bit speechless. He hadn't guessed she would notice him so soon, maybe his guess about her being special was right. Right at the moment he noticed he was so wrapped in his thoughts, she started talking again.

"I'm sorry. I've had a very long night and I don't wish to fight now..."

After that she talked about what she was doing here and that Grey might know something. Grey really had no bad intentions at all, as he just guessed on a mere feeling that there was something special, but she seemed to think he was out for a fight. That she talked so freely to a mere stranger puzzled Graham a bit.

"By the way, my name is Mary." She had continued meanwhile. Graham, knowing he had been inpolite by staying quit for so long, replied at last.

"I'm sorry, Mary was it? I was sunken in thoughts, it happens now and then. I really had no intention of scaring you, or picking a fight, I was just following you to confirm a feeling. You seem to have something special over you, so I should actually ask you if you know something. I haven't got the slighest idea about what is going on with the rumours I heard at from the moment I walked into this town."

He stopped talking and observed her for a moment. Quickly however, he noticed he hadn't introduced himself.

"Oh, and yeah, I'm Mellow."

He scratched the back of his head a little while talking, and produced a grin. Keeping friendly always is the best tactic with strangers of which you want information.

Meanwhile, at the end of the street at the harbor, Nighteyes decided to go back. The appearance of yet another questionable figure, and the caution he commoted made him decide to exchange his thoughts with his master.

He arrived near the pub at the moment Graham introduced himself, and decided to stay in the shadows for now. Undetectible by normal eyes.

"I see. so there is something going on here. well at least now i know i am not crazy." Mary sighed unhappily turning to her cat who seemed to be walking to the end of the hallway. "i really have no clue whats going on. I am hoping that someone else will though. i am really getting tired of wandering these streets. Shadow come back over here." Mary called
shadow snapped to attention and left the dog and small girl alone. he didnt tell Mary so that they would have a chance to leave if they wished but he was ready if they started to fight.
"This is shadow." Mary said "he accompanys me everywhere i go."

Sandy was relieved when the cat, who's name was Shadow decided to leave them alone.
Come on Madison. This isn't safe. We need to leave now! Sandy told her master urgently.
But I want to know what's going on.
Now isn't the time. Please in the name of the Emperor can we leave? Sandy asked knowing that Madison would do anything for the Emperor.
Oh, alright. Madison snapped.
Sandy and Madison went back down the street the way they came. Seemingly unnoticed by the other two. Sandy couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. But Sandy kept quiet about it so as not to worry Madison.

"Elias."

Elias offered the boy a smile. He believed that a handshake would be much too formal, especially considering the boy's age. He was surprised when an animal leapt up on to the boy's shoulder and offered him a pleasant "hello." Must have been a trick of the light, of course. Elias paid it no further heed, preoccupied with the name of their destination.

"Cursed Island? Sounds a bit foreboding, don't you think?"

The lad leapt onto the boat, and Elias followed, carrying whatever meager possessions he may have so deigned to bring with him. He tried to think of reasons why such a young perosn would even want to go to a place with "Cursed" in its name, and arrived at a resounding none. Whatever this boy's logic was, it defied Elias' and was thus worth investigating. Greeted once more by the smells and sounds of surf and ship, Elias felt rejuvenated. It was an awkward experience, to be removed form the earth, but the sea held interesting prospects, and one could not stay on it forever.

"Are we the only people on the entire ship?"

Ryu had watched all these new people come up to him, Elias and Niraku and all he just did was noded towards everyone. He was to busy looking towards the sea thinking of the Cursed Island, this place that he has never been to or ever even seen is now calling to him, Thoughts that maybe this island could heal something insaide him Ryu knew he had to go to the island and find why it was calling to him but he still decided to keep this reason from the others since he didn't want to be seen as a crazy person.

"Cursed Island? Sounds a bit foreboding, don't you think?" Ryu had heard Elias ask. Ryu ponderd what he ment but just shruged at the man, "No not really why would ya think it would be foreboding" Ryu said as he took out his sword and started to practice slashig with Kage. "Hey Kage are ya ready for some practice?"Ryu said with a chesey smile but when he turned to his pet he saw Kage's head over the edge of the boat looking at the fish, "Come on old friend you will eb able to eat as much as you want when we get to the island" Ryu said sliceing his sword into the air creating a short wave of fire.

"Are we the only people on the entire ship?" Elias asked to which Ryu shruged again, "Ask him he said poniting to Niraku. "So Elias How old are ya anyway and Why did ya shoot a damn Rock at me when me and the kid were fighting" Ryu said now puting his sword away and leaning on the edge of the boat with kage.

"I would imagine that the name Cursed Island would be enough to deter most adventurers. It doesn't seem like a big tourist attraction."

Elias believed that all of this would be rather self-evident, given the title of the island. It was his firm belief that most people would not go to a place called Death Mountain, or an Isle of Insanity. Silly him, for thinking that such a rule would apply to ap lace called Cursed Island. The other young fellow, apparently quite the combatant, unsheathed his sword and demonstrated a few practice slahse. Elias was less than impressed, but he didn't really care for such things.

"I'm twenty-one. I'm afraid I haven't caught your name, however."

Elias found the boy's next question nothing more than ridiculous.

"I shot a rock at you because you were fighting. I thought you were attacking Niraku and decided to put a stop to it."

Elias found all of this to be quite obvious. After all, when one sees a fight, one generally either spectates or partakes.

"It's what I do: Earth bend. Not many people can do it where I come from. There seems to be quite a few benders here, though."
