Travels of The Benders

Zeke sat down on the bench and started to watch what was happening. A guy with a sword threatened to kill him if he didn't get out of the boat, and some other guy with a fan interfered. "Bobo... this will seem interesting, wonder who'll win!" said Zeke with amusement "Or should i just burn the whole boat down and end this rubbish... Nah... I'll just watch... this town's boring.."

Ryu just smiled at the other teenager's threat, "Well this just got interesting" Ryu said as fire started to incase his sword. "you don't know who your messing with!" Ryu's pet Kage said now letting his whole body turn into fire. "Kage you take his fox and I'll take this guy" Ryu said now eyes turning red. "I'll give you 2 choices, give us the boat or your gonna know what it feels like to be in a inferno!" the young fire warrior said now letting the hand that wasn’t holding his sword now hold a fire ball, Ryu wanted to end this quick there were to many people watchnig this fight..

[Grimmjow Jaggerjack]

Grey and Nighteyes entered the village in peace, but they soon noticed there was a disturbance. He heard people shouting about people with strange powers, maybe magicians of some kind, and something about the harbor. He didn't really care for fight or such off other people, but because he picked something up about 'weird power's, he decided to send Nighteyes to check it out.

'Go check, find out who these people are, I'll meet you later on.'

When the wolf had ran off, he looked around for a pub, or bar of some kind. He had to search for a while before he found a decent one, so the thirst he got from traveling was almost killing him. He sat down at in the corner of the bar and called the barman.

"Give me a large glass of orange juice, if you would."

The barman didn't answer. He just turned around and got some orange juice from under the bar. Grey only drank natural drinks, like water or juices. It gave him a good feeling, and something like alchohol only clouded his clear mind. He hated that.

Meanwhile the wolf had ran to the harbor, and surveyed the area from a safe, hidden place. He saw some strange figures with animals at their side on the wharf, but what really caught his attention were the figures on a certain boat. One had a huge fan, of which he had never seen anything like it before. An other had fire in his hand, and seemed furious. This was pretty serious, the wolf thought to himself. He decided to watch for a while longer and see what happens.

IC; Mary walks though the streets in a cautious slow movements then walks into a pub and asks the bartender to give her a glass of water and a sauser of milk for her cat.
"what now?" Shadow askes
"I dont know?" She replies tiredly.

[Blackest Night]

"There, how does that feel?"

Elias pulled his hands away from the woman's back, allowing her to test out her newly repaired muscle. The breezes that travelled so famously across the seas caressed his hair, and he crossed his arms, somewhat cold. Waves lapped against the ship as it rested in the harbor, and the odor of wood and salt water permeated everything.

The woman in front of him rotated her shoulders, attempting to see if the almost laughably large knot that had once plagued her still existed. When its absence pronounced itself, she smiled, stood up, and stretched with great ceremony. She turned to face Elias while the wind blew her hair in every direction imaginable. She gave him a quick peck on the cheek, nothing more than a demonstration of friendship.

"Thanks Elias."

"Hardly a problem at all, Layara."

Layara flashed him a smile once more before she turned and ran merrily off into the distance. She'd come here for the same reason he had: another beginning. She had once been a seamstress, grown tired of it, and set out to find a profession she truly enjoyed. Elias' story followed a same vein. Previously a masseuse, Elias had grown bored of it all and left to find..something. He was not entirely sure what he was looking for, but he was quite certain that whenever he so chanced to find it, he would know.

Approximately fifteen minutes later, ten of which were spent haggling with the ship's captain over the price of the voyage, Elias stepped onto solid ground for the first time in days. Now, he felt at home, with earth beneath his feet and a blue sky above. Elias was barefoot, as he always was. When he wore shoes, he felt a horrible disconnection with the earth he so cherished. Certainly, it was odd, perhaps even painfully peculiar, but it was comfortable. This fact, when coupled with Elias' 6' 3" and muscular stature, led to Elias being rather noticeable in a crowd.

"Hello my good sir! What brings you here to this lovely harbor?"

Elias turned, rather startled, to see a squat man staring ridiculously cheerfully directly at him. He waved his hands about with everything he said, obviously highly dramatic, and stood behind a table on which a variety of knick-knacks were strewn. Elias opened his mouth to answer his inquiry. He never got beyond the inhalation.

"Ah never you mind! I can see you're a man of business, so I propose we just skip the formalities and just dive in. Don't you agree?"

"Wha-"

"Quite right. So, here we've got this marvelous Selocian bird-feeder. Crafted by the Selocian Guardsmen themselves!"

Elias glanced down at the "bird feeder." Just by looking at it, he could tell it wasn't of Selocian design. It looked ready to fall apart at the slightest gust of wind. Elias was also very aware that Selocian Guardsmen did not go around making bird feeders. Selocian Guardsmen ensured that the country was secure. They did not feed blue jays.

"No thank you."

"Ah well, in that case, I have this fantastic..."

Elias' mind started to wander. With luck, something remotely interesting would happen soon and give him an excuse to leave.

Niraku looked at the boy. "Brasiel do you want to fight in this?" "NO I would prefer to hide." "Well then what do I do about his pet?" "Fine!" Niraku flipped his fan around him covering his body and he and Brasiel fused with the wind becoming invisible. Niraku closed his fan and brought it down upon his opponent. Brasiel jumped toward the pet he turned himself into a cat and put out long sharp claws.

"My name is Kyriakos. I know this is a strange name , but whatever!" Sleif heard the man in front of him introduce himself, as he stretched his hand to him.
"A pleasure to meet you! My name is Sleif!" Sleif said as he took Kyriakos' handshake.

As he finished shaking, Sleif looked down at Kyriakos' pet fox. "That is an interesting fox you have there! I haven't seen one of them in many years!" Sleif said as he continued to look at Kornilios.
Suddenly, Sleif noticed many new people arriving in the harbour at this time. "It looks like other similar people are arriving!" Sleif said as he motioned to the others.

Ryu barley managed to avoid the teens attack by jumping into the air and counter by throwing a wave of fire at his opponent, "That's it now more play time!" Ryu said sending 20 fire balls at the other teenager then making a fire whip in his hand and sending around the teens body. While Kage was getting mad now since all these people were starting to show up and now he had this cat to fight. "Your going to be dead in the first five minuets" the fire wolf said as he attacked the cat sinking his teeth into it's body.

Mary finishes her drink with a sigh and walks out of the door. Her cat following closly behind.
"what now?" Shadow asks.
"Will you stop asking that." Mary snapps irritated and not sure why
"I'm sorry but we are in a new town and not sure why. A killer might show up around the corner and try to kill us."
"Oh yes, try it would have to do... please be quite. I just really hope i get some awnsers soon. This is turning out to be a verry long night."

Do you think we're making good time? Madison asked Sandy skipping along the road.
I think that we're making great time. Just look up ahead. Sandy replied pointing a paw in the direction they were heading.
Up ahead was a bustling city full with people. There was a harbor for boats and a market to buy goods. It looked like a good place to be. The two had made it to Kiaki town.
Race you there. Madison said grinning excitedly. Then she set off and began running down the road to the city.
What am I going to do with that child? Sandy thought amused. Sighing she sat off after her master.

When they got down to the city gates they walked through and walked down the busy street. Madison was amazed at everything she was seeing. She saw stalls selling jewelry and trinkets. She saw children running around and having fun. And she saw vendors with food. Her mouth watered at one stall she stopped at where Mashed Potatoes, and Fried Chicken were being served.
What do you say to us taking a bite to eat? Sandy asked with her paws on the stall and looking in at the food hungrily.
Sounds like a plan. The little girl responded.
Madison promptly got in line and purchased a meal that she and Sandy weren't soon to forget. Soon the two were sitting down on the sidewalk devouring their food. They were starving after their long trip.

While Graham was sitting in the pub, only slightly sipping of his orange juice, a girl with a cat came in. The girl immediatly got Grey's attention, although he wasn't really sure why. Maybe because the cat didn't seem like a normal one. The girl only drank a single glass of water, and gave some milk to the cat she was with. She left soon enough.

Graham stayed seated for a while, thinking. Eventually he quickly drank his remaining orange juice in one huge sip, threw some money on the counter, and walked out of the bar in a faster then normal pace. His relaxing state of mind had changed for a restless one. This happens sometimes; he's first really lazy, not wanting to do anything, but suddenly changes of mood and has to do something quick. We've all had it once, but he had it a bit more often then normal. This was probably due to his weird nature and personality. The same goes for the other way around, he can suddenly lose any type of drift or energy.

This time, Grey thought, the trigger was probably the girl. He decided to keep an eye on her, as he felt she had some kind off conection to these other people with strange powers in this town, just like himself.

'So many strange people...something weird is going on in this town.'

[Blackest Night]

Somehow, Elias had been so fortunate as to remain oblivious about the screams, hollers, and generally loud declarations that flooded the ears of those around him. After the invasive merchant had given up on his attempts to swindle a sale from Elias, Elias himself became aware of gossip, rumors concerning a battle going on between two people of rather extraordinary talents. Street performers, most likely, or perchance even some martial art master taking on another. It was not so. When more rumors concerning the age of the boys and just what powers they were using reached Elias' ears, his curiosity was piqued.

Surely these boys couldn't have similar powers to him. Why, that would just be silly.

It was still with investigating. In no particular hurry, as per usual, Elias trotted nonchalantly across the habor, following the wafting rumors. What he finally saw astounded him. There was a boy, nearly entirely engulfed in flames, yet amazingly not screaming. Fireballs flashed to life in his hands, only to shoot out at another fellow, burning and searing through the air. A cat tried to strike him, quite a laughable sight to be sure, only to be stricken by a wolf in immolation.

For some reason, and he would never be entirely sure, Elias was not concerned with the man on fire. Rather, he was far more interested with the boy being attacked, the one who wielded a ridiculously large fan that, upon further consideration, could not have possibly been practical. In Elias' mind, workingi n the heat of the moment, this boy was being attacked and was therefore worthy of defending.

Whatever luggage Elias had fell to the groundin an instant. The harbor, aside from the docks themselves, was made of finely constructed stone, perfect for a man such as he. Suinting in the sun, Elias raised his right foot a short distance off the ground, slamming it back down with great force. A large stone, cut into an oblong cube by his own will, hovered in the air before it's master. He stepped forward, releasing a powerful punch that was not intended to hit the stone, but only to grant him the strength necessary to amplify his powers. Despite the strength required for the movement of earth, Elias' actions were smooth and fluid.

It worked. The rock flew through the harbor sky, aimed directly at the flaming man. It moved with great speed, and the accuracy only someone with years of training in such things could accomplish. Elias often used his knowledge and accuracy to cure people of pain. Now, hw would use it to prevent death.

[Wasilis]

"It looks like other similar people are arriving!" Sleif announced.

"Yeah, you're right!" Kyriakos replied, but at this point he noticed a young man, around his twenties, extracted a big stone, in the shape of a cube. "Another bender..." he thought, but after a while he stopped pondering, because he noticed that the man hurled the rock towards their direction.

"What the heck!" he muttered and he dived to dodge the attack. The rock flew above him and passed him. Kyriakos, after seeing that he was no longer in danger, stood up. "Well...it wasn't aming at me..." he said. In fact he was right. The target was the flaming man; the one who was on the ship, fighting with the guy with the big fan.

Sleif looked over to the new bender, who had launched a rather large chunk of earth towards them. "Kuromori watch yourself!" Sleif said as he instantly moved out of the direction of the rock.
Kuromori knew exactly what to do. Due to him being not as fast as his master, Kuromori was still able to protect itself.

Curling its body slightly, given him a curved back, the boulder easily passed over Kuromori, just skimming the back of him. This however, only caused the part of the rock that connected with Kuromori, to break away. Turning around, Sleif noticed that the boulder was not actually intended towards him or Kyriakos , and was actually aimed at the two who were fighting on the boat.

[Solareon]

Ryu was still in a Rage and he didn't know if he was going to kill the younger teen or not. but something distracted him from his fight, It was a giant boulder coming towards him, letting his body go back to normal Ryu took out his long sword and as the boulder came towards him he sent a powerful shoot of fire threw his sword at the boulder making it break into smaller rocks. As the little rocks and dust started to rain down on him, Ryu tried to located on who just threw it. Seeing a older looking man farther away from him Ryu just sighed, he knew this was going to happen he had goten a little out of control and now people started to think he was trying to kill the kid, Deciding that it would be best before Ryu and Kage had to fight everyone that he just calmed down.

"Kage get off the Fox" Ryu said calmly as the wolf just let go of the other pet and walked back over to Ryu, "This boat aint yours kid and I'm not gonna fight ya for it but I'll make you a deal I need a boat so why don't we just share the damn thing" Ryu said now putting his sword away. "It might be better if ya take the deal kid look around this fight kinda got lots of people watching" Kage said licking were the Fox hit him. "So what’s it gonna be kid we got a deal?" Ryu Asked the other teen, "oh and by the way my name is Ryu and this Wolf over here is Kage. he said pointing to his wolf that was now looking at the man that just shoot a boulder at his master.
