Spinning his pistols into his leather clad holsters, hidden secretly among his dim gray trench coat; the attention of his formidable duo Junsen became vacant for discussion. As they’d always try and make time for each other by the end of the night, like as if it were to confide in each other’s wisdom before the night grew to an end.

“Hey ya’ old bastard finally have time for good ol’ Gun-?”

Said Gunjin with a hasty smirk that distracted him from his poorly shaven face. Junsen looked at Gunjin with more intent now and it became quite clear at what Junsen wanted to know.

"So... it went well?"

Questioned Junsen.

"Explain everything."

Sculling the last of his ale, Gunjin looked right into the piercing depths of Junsen’s eyes, he stated everything.

“Well, it did go quite o.k., I didn’t even have to use my gun. Which don’t get me wrong; I would’ve loved to have put a few rounds into that crook. I got there late, the office was already open. And yes, before you ask it was the back entrance with all video surveillance destroyed. It was dark with most of the office based within the shadows; the only window was approximately eight meters from the desk, with no available vision of the “hit”, when the time came. Also, all debts have been destroyed plus the three kilograms of cocaine that the bastard was selling to our innocent homeless youths.”

Said Gunjin with anger flaring from his once calm smirk.

“I didn’t know what went over me Junsen, I wanted him dead more then anything, I wanted him to pay. I made him dwell in fear. The disgusting sight of him shaking, sweating, trembling as I stood in front of him, with his life in my hands gave me so much satisfaction. Does this make me a bad man?”

Slamming his fist hard upon the bar, causing the room to spark question of what was being discussed.

Nikoli looked at Gunjin who slammed his fist and deciding that it was not his problem, He stood up. "Soran, Let's get going shall we?" Flexing his muscles intimidatingly. He reached the door and walked outside. He turned to Soran. "Hey? you got a cigarette?" he said unsure if Soran smoked at all. There were no telling signs. No bad breath. No nothing.

OOC: Sorry bout the short post

Jusen's response came as quickly as he had questioned; passionate almost to the point of becoming enflamed, Gunjin roared before slamming a tightly curled fist to the table, his knuckles whitened with intensity.

Shaking his head, he replied.

"Doesn't make you a bad person," the reassuring words came, as he released a long spew of cigarette smoke. "I'm sure anyone would want to do the same in your position. You hear about these sickos so much that when you finally corner them, you want them to suffer. You want to make them hurt as much as they've hurt others. All these murderers and perverts running around turn my stomach."

A sigh came from him.

"Keep it in control and you're fine," he explained. "Get to the point where you're only doing it for your own self-satisfaction and you'll have a problem. Remember the bigger picture, Gunjin. Feels damn good to give these guys a taste of their own medicine, but take pleasure in it, and frankly you're no better than them."

Jusen knew that Gunjin was a level-headed young man for the most part, so he saw no reason to worry about his feelings for now. He would be okay, Jusen knew it. Even if he wasn't, the man would be there to watch over things.

Eyeing Nikoli closely as he leapt up, proclaiming that they should leave, Jusen released a breath.

"What do you think of Nikoli?" he asked Gunjin, curious of the man's opinion.

After that vast tirade of words that seeped from Gunjin’s lips, finally came silence. The creaks from the floor boards hollowed among the silenced bar. To see a few men cower from the inevitable rage that succumbed Gunjin. His inability to distant him self from his work and personal vendetta shook him slightly. Was he loosing his mind to the constant war of corruption within justice? Or simply the end result of what would be a medical psychosis under the pressure to sustain twin lifes?

Barely holding onto what was the rest of his sanity that evening came to closure with the wisdom of his comrade, Jusen.

"Doesn't make you a bad person,"

Said Jusen discretely.

"I'm sure anyone would want to do the same in your position. You hear about these sickos so much that when you finally corner them, you want them to suffer. You want to make them hurt as much as they've hurt others. All these murderers and perverts running around turn my stomach."

Keep it in control and you're fine,"

Said Jusen in a distant array of literature.

Jusen continued;

"Get to the point where you're only doing it for your own self-satisfaction and you'll have a problem. Remember the bigger picture, Gunjin. Feels damn good to give these guys a taste of their own medicine, but take pleasure in it, and frankly you're no better than them."

The words burned through Gunjin mind, taking every word to heart.

”but take pleasure in it, and frankly you're no better than them."

Again soared through the shallow mind of Gunjin.

Eyeing Nikoli closely as he leapt up, proclaiming that they should leave, Jusen released a breath.

"What do you think of Nikoli?"

He asked Gunjin, curious of the man's opinion.

“What do I think of him? I do not know, maybe an initiation of some sort?”

Replied Gunjin with an upheld smirk.

Darron sat beside his ill father. The moonlight was jumping through the uneven blinds and onto the blanket of the hospital bed. If there was a god, it hated Daron with a passion.

"Mr. Fielding? Visiting times are over."
"Yes... Thank you doctor"

He walked out of the moonlit room, his heart as heavy as his eyelids. He hadn't had a good nights sleep in a long time.

As he walked out, he looked through the windows of other rooms. Numerous people were in the hospital for injuries that may have been prevented if the police weren't the way they were. He stood in front of the lift and pressed the button. He looked at his reflection in the cold large metal doors. Even though the reflection was somewhat distorted, he could still tell he was tired. Whilst waiting, he heard an argument down the hall

".... I couldn't care less about our agreement! You messed with the wrong people and that's why you're in here!"

There was some yelling from the other room, but Darron couldn't quite make it out.

"Well that's your freaking fault! You missed the shipment, so don't come to me about your problems! I've still got to deal with my own. So when you get out of there, call me, come to the usual spot, and for your own sake, don't be late!"

The man stormed down the corridor towards Darron, swearing under his breath. He was about 25 years old, a sleeveless t-shirt, torn jeans, a beanie and tattoos all up his arms. He looked like a typical thug.

He saw Darron staring at him, and true to his stereotype, snapped straight away.

"What the hell are you looking at? Got a problem?! Huh?!"

Darron just looked away, and stifled a laugh. He loved it when people act tough. It looks hilarious. Yet the last thing he needed right now was a punch in the face.

"Yeah, that's right! You're scared, aren't you?! Just look away, stupid *censored*"

Darron just sighed, and walked into the lift that just arrived. The man followed.
As you could imagine, it was the most uncomfortable lift ride Darron had ever had.

"Who were you visiting? Your mum? You know, I did her last night!"

Darron was sick of this guy. He acts all tough, then talks like he's eleven years old. The guy was obviously not the sharpest tack in the draw.

"I don't really need your bullcrap right now."
"Oooh! Tough one, eh? Well stuff you! I'll bash you any day!"
*sigh*

The lift was incredibly slow. Darron looked up, and was surprised to see that no security cameras were in the lift. He couldn't help himself from teaching this guy a lesson. It was just too good of an opportunity, and he really needed to get rid of some anger.

Although Darron was never necessarily good at hand-to-hand combat, this guy was a pushover. He spent the whole time protecting his head with his forearms.

As the lift came to a stop on the ground floor, Darron walked out calmly, the sound of elevator music not quite matching the scene of a bashed up man in a heap on the floor. No body was waiting at the lifts, so no body saw Darron leave.

"Jusen is going to kick my ass if he ever finds out"

After mentioning Jusen's name, Darron remembered that he never got a message in return. He wondered if he ever got the messages Gunjin were supposed to give him.
Just to be safe, Darron rung Jusen (he didn't send Jusen the messages in the first place because Jusen usually has his phone turned off).

As usual, Darron got the voicemail.

Hey. It's Darron. Sorry I had to leave, but if you got my message from Gunjin, you should understand. I'll be there later tomorrow, I need a sleep in. Less-than-three, mate.

"An initiation?" Jusen queried, his interest aroused by the young man's odd-sounding suggestion. "Like, an induction ceremony of sorts?"

The man mused aloud.

"I suppose it'd help everyone get used to him," he rationalised, rubbing his rough, stubbly chin. It reminded him he needed a shave. "I think he'd be less than impressed by it though. It might be a good plan, Gunjin."

Gazing around rather listlessly, Jusen yawned loudly before looking back to Gunjin.

"So you heard about the three targets from Evan?" he made sure, before going on. "They're to be watched but nothing's going to be done about them now. Our main priority is the target put forward by Soran. He and Nikoli will be handling it, I assume, but it doesn't hurt for others to help in planning and such."

Sitting back, Jusen took another drink of water, before pulling his phone from his pocket. Seeing there was a voicemail message, he excused himself before listening to it.

It was Darron, sounding quite drained.

"Hey. It's Darron. Sorry I had to leave, but if you got my message from Gunjin, you should understand. I'll be there later tomorrow, I need a sleep in. Less-than-three, mate."

He handed the phone to Gunjin, before allowing him to listen.

"What message?"

Soran didn't smoke, but as it so happened, always carried a pack with him. He spent enough time trying to make criminals chatty that it was handy to have a pack to offer them, so he made sure to keep one around. "Parliament Blues okay?" he asked, fishing out the pack. He may not smoke, but he still had a preference in what he offered to others. He flicked open the top, and offered it to Nikoli.

"Getting in will be easy. All we have to do is knock- don't get used to this level of convience. Likely we'll talk for a few minutes, just to get him at ease, and then we can make our move." Soran paused, gathering his thoughts. "He has a few guns around the house, of course, but he's not a very paranoid man, so he probably won't expect a thing. Also, as he has so few enemies, the gangs haven't seen it as necessary to offer him some security, so nobody will slow us down in completing the job." He pulled out his keys as he finished talking. "My car or yours?"

************

And finally the bastards were leaving. The meeting didn't go very well, but what exactly would going well have meant? When someone shows up and tells you they don't plan to pay their bill in full, you get pissed. Jonathan sighes, wondering what the morons thought would happen. That he'd cry a bit and crumble under the pressure? He had good, fair rates, and if these twerps couldn't pay... well, he was thinking he'd take care of them, but he wouldn't have to, would he? He was such a valuable asset to organized crime in this city, they'd do it for him, for fear of losing his help. He may need to ask for a small security detail soon, if things were going to continue like this. Made up of a few members from every gang, of course, to keep them honest.

He leaned back, pulling out a cigar. He wasn't really a cigar man, to be honest, but once he'd begun to make nine digits, he felt slightly stupid for smoking cigarettes. It'd be like if Bill Gates lived in an apartment. So he took up cigars. Honestly, they weren't as good, but now that he was addicted and all, it was just the same to him. He puffed a few times, rolling the smoke under his tongue. What a boring evening this was going to be... and with him in a dark mood, he could do nothing but sit and seethe.

"An initiation?"

Jusen queried, his interest aroused by the young man's odd-sounding suggestion.

"Like, an induction ceremony of sorts?"

Gunjin viewed Jusen with a twinkle of innovation in his eyes, what just was Gunjin scheming? The humidity in the room grew within the hour as smoke began to cloud the atmosphere of the once clean bar room. Gujin gleamed at Jusen with the sense of approval.

"I suppose it'd help everyone get used to him,"

He rationalized, rubbing his rough, stubbly chin.

"I think he'd be less than impressed by it though. It might be a good plan, Gunjin."

Said Jusen compliant as usual.

”Thank you brother, you will not regret this. I feel it’s beneficial for the Rodojinko’s future!”

Moving on from his musty, tepid ale, Gunjin ordered a short-black coffee with a hint of brandy. Gunjin then focused onto Jusen as he sensed a conversation brewing.

"So you heard about the three targets from Evan?"

"They're to be watched but nothing's going to be done about them now. Our main priority is the target put forward by Soran. He and Nikoli will be handling it, I assume, but it doesn't hurt for others to help in planning and such."

He handed the phone to Gunjin, before allowing him to listen.

"What message?"

Caught in a swindle, Gunjin was alarmed to see he had left his cellular on the table over by the window, he paced over to the cellular to find a new text message, without hesitation he looked upon the text, to see;

“Tell Jusen I will be late tomorrow as well. Dad's in a coma.”

”Oh shit!”

Yelped Gunjin,

”Jusen you better have a look at this.”

Gunjin threw the cellular over to Jusen whose eyes flickered upon the text message in despair.

The message was read quickly, and as the pixellated words sunk in, Jusen could not help but feel a pang of sorrow, a real, deep sympathy for Darron. His own father had died a few years ago; the man knew how it felt to lose someone so close in such a horrible manner. Though, he knew that being in a coma was not condemnation of death, far from it. Hopefully the man would wake up, but that was fate's decision to make. Lifting a cigarette to his mouth, he lit it, and drew a long, ponderous breath before releasing it as a partial sigh.

"Maybe someone should go over there," he said, before stopping himself, and reconsidering. "On second thought, we should leave it. His family are most likely there and we don't want to intrude on that."

Reaching into his pocket for his own phone, he sent Darron a message;

"Hope everything is alright. Just let us know how everything is going, and don't hesistate to call any of us should you need the support. Jusen."

Daron payed the cab-driver what he was charged, even though it was a lot more than he should have payed him, and came out of the cab. The cabbie spent the whole time acting like he was lost, even though he had a NavMan. Darron was too tired to complain, so he just paid him what he wanted.

He entered his house and sat on the couch. He was tired, but he didn't feel like sleeping just yet. His cat, Bruce, had come in when he opened the door. He settled himself on Darron's lap.

"Hey Brucie..."

The cat purred and drifted off within seconds

"You tired too, huh?"

Darron decided to call that 24 hour pizza place, and he turned on the T.V as well.

Half-way through some foreign movie on channel 8, his phone began buzzing.

"Hope everything is alright. Just let us know how everything is going, and don't hesistate to call any of us should you need the support. Jusen."

Darron burst into tears. He didn't know why, but that message touched him. The Rodojinko is his family, so it's only natural for them to care. For reasons he didn't understand, tears were streaming down his face.

Calm down... You're just overtired... And everything has been stressful lately... Just get some rest.

Darron wiped his eyes and waited for his pizza to come.

Striking like lead piercing the heart, deep grief soared through Gunjin. Even though a father figure was never present among Gunjin’s life he imagined the though of Jusen in the same situation, this bought on the thoughts that was so dreaded. Gunjin, replied with a text message;

“I’ll try and get there soon! Stay strong Darron.

Gunjin.”

Gunjin addressed Jusen in a quick manner, if to somehow leave the bar with most haste.

”Should we be there for Darron, Jusen!?”

Said Gunjin.

"Maybe someone should go over there," he said, before stopping himself, and reconsidering. "On second thought, we should leave it. His family are most likely there and we don't want to intrude on that."

Jusen reached into his pocket for his hone, and sent Darron a message;

“O.k. well it’s up to you Jusen.”

Said Gunjin with a hint of clarity.

Changing of voice level or speed of speech? Anything like that?" said Nikoli taking a draw from his cigarette, Soran asked which car he preferred to go in.. "Yours I think. it'll be less conspicuious that way. Other than a complete random strangers car."

He finished his cigarette and threw it in a nearby dust bin... "Method of disposal?" asked Nikoli.

"So what kind of things does he do when he's about to attack someone.. besides draw a weapon. Changing of voice level or speed of speech? Anything like that?" asked Nikoli. A good question- Soran considered this for a moment. It wasn't that he didn't know enough about the man, he knew too much, and had to sort through all the useless information.

"If he's not smoking, or he stops smoking, we need to be wary- it means he's suspicious, or perceives some sort of threat. As for when he's about to make a move... really, there's very little warning, which is kind of a hint in itself. If he starts being more slow and deliberate with his movements, he might try something. Just keep your eyes open- he's used to doing the questioning and taking the initiative, so if we do it instead, we'll take him off guard, and throw off his groove. He'll falter, and we'll have our chance." He opened the door to his car, a grey Prius, and slipped inside. While he waited for Nikoli to get comfortable, he switched on his GPS, and set a course for Jonathan Hyde's house. He knew the way himself, but he imagined that Nikoli would have more questions, and he wanted to be able to answer them easily, without being distracted with navigating the city.

He pulled out his cell phone, and checked his messages quickly- there was one from his father, but it wasn't urgent, so he'd deal with it after he'd taken care of things for the Rodojinko. He started up the car, and began down the street.
