Maidens of the Godess

The Story

The land of the silver grasslands, a savanna of white bliss. The sun shined bright and the grass the color of silver blew in the wind. There were 5 summoners called the "Maidens of Song", they each controlled 5 different elements and they served the Goddess. The creator of the land of the silver grasslands. Until one of the maidens betrayed the others. She used the power of darkness to destroy the silvergrasslands and then rose the city of Techio. A futuristic city full of pollution, skyscrapers, guns, and a leader named Aires (the dark maiden) that waged war on the rest of the world in a conquest of terror. The maiden of darkness trapped the other four maidens in crystals where they couldn't get out. The godess has become angered and plans to destroy the world she created unless Xelonius and the maiden are stopped. The maidens wish to return the world back to the silver grasslands and have given up there four powers of earth, wind, fire, and water,to many people living in the world of Techio. Only those with those powers can find the crystals and break free the maidens to destroy Aires and return the world back to what it was.

Now

Niraku cleaned off the counter top of his little bar. he had been hiding here for quite a while and today was the big day. he had sent out letters to many warriors who had elemental powers to help him with a project to save the world. They were late, Niraku's nerves were just going to explode. If he was cought there was no telling what his mother would do to him and the others. He hoped they would get here soon he couldn't stand to just sit around. when they arrived then he would tell them why he sent for them but then again they were all late.......

An elf with long hair just as silver as her name walked down the streets of Techio looking for the little bar that was written on her invitation. She was excited to know that she would finally be able to do something to help stop the dark maiden. Her older brother Platinum, had sneered at her when she told him about the other warriors that would be coming to fight as well. Silver just remembered how angry she was at him as he sat in his favorite tree laughing out loud at her. He didn't see what Silver could do to help the cause, in fact disregarding her talents with magic and for fighting he said she would make it worse. Of course it didn't get any better when Platinum told their sister Golden. Golden just looked at her with tears in her eyes as she laughed. Silver didn't even bother to tell her younger brother Copper. She didn't want a repeat of the scene with Platinum. Silver couldn't' wait to prove them wrong. As Silver turned the corner she saw a small bar. This must be the place I'm looking for. She thought as she trod over to the entrance and walked in. Looking around inside she saw a guy cleaning the counter.
"Hi, are you Niraku? I'm Silver, it's nice to meet you!" Silver said smiling shaking his hand.

AS the elven girl shook his hand he marveled at long beautiful hair. " So are you the legendary Silver from Ashira I've heard about. WE are going to greatly need your service on this adventure. You probably have already seen me though I'm on the news everyday seeing as I'm Aires' missing son and a Prince but I don't really care just know if we are caught by anyone we will be killed immediatly on contact with the enemy. So now the question is where are everyone else?" Niraku finsihed his sentence came out from around his bar and opened a door to a back room. " WE will be meeting in here, it is very nice to meet you to." Niraku hadn't been very nice and was being really shy. He didn't like to talk a lot and this was getting uncomfortable. Heknew that whenever he talked he would start to babble just another one of his horrid habits that came from too much studying as a child. HIs smile then faded quickly this wasn't really a happay matter. he then returned to his solemn annd more peaceful self.

"This cant be the right adress?" thought Sonara. She raised her delicate hand and ran it through her auburn hair, while taking a look around. The streets of techio were just as she remembered, or so she thought. The small ram-shackle of a bar seemed to stand out in her mind, and as she stepped into the threshold of the building, a flood of memories attacked her. It was here that she and her father had first heard of Aires and her dark powers. She pushed aside the memory and entered the bar.
"Hello..." she said, her voice sweet as honey, yet melancholy.

He's a little distant. I guess he isn't the talkative type. Silver thought as Niraku led her to a room in the back of the little bar. Silver just put a smile on her face as she went into the back room to wait for the others to come. She didn't want Niraku to know what she was thinking. Not too long after he left the room she heard a young woman enter the bar and say hi. It must be one of the other warriors. Silver thought. Silver took out her sword to look it over one last time. She always kept it in tip top condition so there wasn't really any need for it, but still she checked. Her sword looked like any sword. But what made this sword so unique was the silver star on it's hilt. Silver Star was a sword that had strange powers of it's own. This meant that it would be a pretty nasty experience for any person that was on the wrong end of the swords point. Silver used this sword to use her magic and to travel. This sword could stop time if she willed it, but it took a lot of power, so it wasn't a skill that Silver used unless there was dire need. This included time travel but as already stated it created terrible consequences for Silver to endure if used. Silver herself was an experienced sword fighter, even her siblings as mean as they were didn't get into a fight with her if they could avoid it. Silver sighed and re sheathed her sword waiting to meet the other young warrior that had just walked through the door.

"Im sorry i'm late." said Sonara sheepishly. she didnt want to admit to him that she had gotten lost in tehcio. The boy just smiled and nodded his head. There was a small akward silence between them. He told her his name was Nikaru, and that he was a prince, son of Aires. Sonara smiled and shook his hand, and she was led into the back room crowded by boxes and barrels. As she moved through the room, another wave of memories came to her. This one was incomplete .She was leaving techio on her fathers ship. They had just signed on to a rebel group, and Sonara was still a child. She remembered the sky turning dark, the wind rocking the boat, the lighting tearing open the sky. and then....that was all. "There must be more to my memories," she thought "I was found orphaned and raised by strangers. But why cant i remember?" She returned to reality and greeted the young elf with amazingly silver hair standing before her.

So there were still two more people to come here, one anther girl and the other a guy. This would be a long night. NIraku walked into the small room cluttered with things and decided to play host. "Hey um.... if you would like I could make a few drinks, I have root juice and Bloodbeer and all kinds of stuff the foreign people like. He then returned to staying silent. THey probably have never heard of those drinks anyway seeing as they were not total outlanders.

"It's nice to meet you Sonara. My name is Silver. I'm from the distant land of Ashira, where my father, Bronze is ruler." Silver said smiling shaking Sonara's hand.
Niraku asked if they wanted anything to drink.
"Actually I am a little parched. A nice Root Juice would be nice. Thanks!" Silver said beaming as Niraku left the room.
"When do you think the others will arrive? This is going to be a long night if they don't get here soon." Silver said conversationally to Sonara.

OOC: Where the heck are wizy and kingdom fighter?

Niraku whisked over to his bar he took two roots and then he took a cup of water. He grabbed a goblet and took a huge slab of meat. He squeezed the roots and the meat into the cup then pored water into the cup he then through roots in and a little of the meats inside a blender. AFter blending them he put the mush into the cup full of liquid and he took the goblet full of goo and he took it to Silver handing it to her hoping she would like the drink. He had improved it all his life of being a bar hop. " So how is it? And the others need to get here soon and then I can tell you but I must warn you this wil be a perilous journey."

"Thanks!" Silver said taking the cup of goo.
Silver was no stranger to strange drinks, there were many assortment of them in her country. Silver took a sip and beamed.
"This drink is wonderful! You must tell me your recipe when you get the chance." Silver said with her eyes sparkling.

" WEll I'm afraid that that info is a secret my bro........" Niraku started to choke up almost saying his brothers name. The brother that hates him, that wants to kill him, and that evetually they will have to kill one another. He turned silent and collasped on the floor in an array of darkness. "Help me!" he screamed as he fainted away. Hofefully Silver would help him or Sonara. A deep darkness came over him, You will fail the voice said i will find you!. Niraku then stood up his eyes in shock.

OOC: He's my best friend in real life. We went to the same middle school, but we go to different high schools now. We only live a block away from each other so we hang out all the time. Did you want us to keep OOC's to the sign up thread or here?

"Are you alright!" Silver cried out in alarm.
Silver immediatly went down on the floor to help Niraku. Sonara watched in worry.

Sonara watched as Nikaru collasped in a heap on he floor. What should i do? she thought frantically. Silver was already at his side, but she ran over anyways. "Do you feel alright?" she asked Nikaru, hoping her voice woukldnt betray her. He mumbled a soft reply that neither her or Silver could deciefer. She and the elf picked him up and propped him against some boxes, they were both genuinely concerned for his health. "Is there anything you need to tell us? anything at all?" Sonara asked longingly to Nikaru. She could tell something was troubling him, she saw it in his eyes...

"She knows we ae here and she knows what we plan to do we need to get on the other side of the city, there I have another bar that we can go to and there we will start our journey" He said frantically picking up his huge coat that was bigger than his entire body. just then soldiers with guns came firing into the bar. " WE need to leave Now!" he said. Whooshing a layer of ice as a wall up with his hands he ran out the back door and waited for the others to follow.
