Strike after strike, seemed to have been causing Sleifs other self to rise quite steadily. "This is starting to try my patience!" Sleif thought to himself, as he defended against Tairas attacks.
After a powerful strike from Taira, it seemed to have been the one which pushed Sleif over the edge of his sanity.

As Taira charged towards Sleif for another assault, as she brought down her katana, Sleif brought upwards his own, causing a powerful shock wave to occur between the two.
Looking up from the ground, it appeared that one of Sleifs red eyes, had turned a pure yellow.

Striking back at Taira, Sleif launched a powerful blast of force within his attack, more then enough to send anyone flying.
Turning at that instant, Sleif rushed towards Blain, at a much greater speed then before, firing a much greater blast of energy then at Taira.

Nikki take the girl" said Ale as he ran and pushed blain and himself out of the way of the powerful blast that had been shot at Blain. Nikki had made it to the girl standing there for a second Nikki read the mind waves that were stable then helped the girl up "We need to get out of here Ales got yuor freind" said Nikki in the best english she could as she waited for a reply as For Ale he got back up quickly as Sleif was still running at them Ale Concentrated on a good aim then took out his lances gun side and Fired a grenade out with a bit of Gravity Ale forced a small explosion as as smoke screen more then a attack "Hey who every you guys are i think we should leave Nikkis got your Girl friend unless you got a plan better then retreat right now "Said Ale as he waited to see if he was going to dy tring to fight in this area

Taira was thrown back, the resulting force from Sleif sending pain through the very blades of her swords into her body. She winced, fliping neatly to land on her feet. Someone else ran up, and she could barely hear. Her vision blurred for a second in the already half blind situations she was in. She pulled down her goggles, and winced as the clip hit the cut on her head. She fell forward a bit and looked at who had ran up. "I suppose I can kill him any tmie." She looked at the blade of one of her Katanas finding his blood on the tip of the blade.

Nikki looked at the girl as she seem to get in worrest condition Nikki picked her up and started to run toward the exit as she left the fight to Ale and the other guy

OOC: O.O This was so good, I don't want it to die. Looks like I'm going to have to do a little powerplaying, to get the story to continue. So sorry for doing this Smitey and Kingdomkey.

As the black smoke erupted in front of him, Sleif was able to notice a small cut on his arm, which was slightly dripping with blood.

This however didn't effect anything in a bad way, actually it only served to increase his rage even more. With a single swing on his huge black blade, Sleif caused the ground to erupt sending a humongous shock wave forward, towards Ale and Blain

The shock wave was so powerful, it was able to launch both of them back up through the mine, stopping just behind Nikki and Taira.
After that happened, the rage within Sleif started to subside, allow him control again of his actions.

Turning around, Sleif walked over to the large cracked bulkhead in the wall of the mine, before raising his hand and using his powers on the metal, widening the gap for him.

Going inside the area now, Sleif started to look around, for anything that would be useful. Most of the things he found however, were useless, there was one, which was a power cell, but he had no use for it, and so left it alone.

Coming to the back of the area, he found something which might have been useful. A computer monitor and console of some sort, sat unused but still full of power.
Beginning instantly, searching through the computer, Sleif soon found something of interest, and so he activated it.

From beside him, a small opening appeared, causing Sleif to look inside it, which brought a slight grin to his face to what he had found.
What he had found, would have looked quite useless, if it was found by anyone who didn't know the purpose of it, for it looked like a piece of a broken mechanical device.

Taking it, Sleif started once again, searching through the computer, finding his next location quite a distance away.
Not wanting to waste anymore time, Sleif simply turned around and started to walk back through the mine again.

OOC: I am so sorry I haven't posted guys, I have no excuse. I'm going to take a couple of little liberties with that doodad you picked up Seph, okay? Just not in this post. /OOC

Blain had emrged from his state of single-minded tunnel vision just before his enemy's shockwave struck him. Blain was knocked flying, but thinknig quickly, he jammed his spear in between the cieling and the floor, using it as a center to spin a clear 180 degrees and shoot back down the tunnel, feet first. He landed perfectly, but it suddenly struck him that he was weaponsless now apart from his knife and guns and bullets didn't come cheap. As it was, the fellow tugging at his sleave might have made a rather timely appearance. "Good plan. This isn't my kind of battlefield," he said and then raised his voice, greatful for the smoke cover, "Hey you bastard! This isn't over! There will be another time, you hear me? My name is Blain Alexander Lance! Remember it, because it'll be carved into your corpse!" Blain fled with his mysterious ally. Suddenly though, he turned down a side passage, yanking the guy with him, "What are y..." the man began, but Blain shushed him.
"I need to find out what was so important that he blew up a wall, slaughtered a bandit group and crushed my parter to get at. To do that, I need to wait until he's gone." Suddenly something stuck him, "Wait... What you said earlier... Taira's alive?!" Relief and joy flooded through his system, battling for supremacy. For the moment, relief won and he settled int othe shadows to wait for his foe to pass them. Superiors could make next to no sound whe nthey wanted; it was a skill many perfected in their yonger days in rougher towns and Blain had used it a and honed it a lot in his days as an outrider, until not even another superior's pinpont hearing could detect him. He could only hope his partner had the same level of skill, or they were both dead meat.

Taira ran, as fast and far as she could. She followed the smell of cleaner drty air, and the light that seemed to find it's way into dark dead ends. She ran, out of this mine, out of the fight. She hated running, but she needed to. Pain was throbbing throughout her body, sand her vision yet again was fading. The metal clip on her gogles seemed to hit her wound every once ina while, and the pain was excruciating. She slipped on some loose rocks, and fell, falling to her hand and knees. Pain racked her body, but she forced herself to stand. "you can pass out outside.." she muttered to herself, forcing herself forward once more. "Blain..." she whispered, her pace increasing at the next blast of fresh air that followed the airvents that had been created to release moisture and let in clean fresh air into those stale tunnles and holes. Suddenly, light burst around her, and she found ehrself outside. Her knees colapsed beneath her, and she clutched her head, ignoring the prods of her sword hilts in her sides. All that wasthere was blinding pain. She was greatful for her goggles, blocking that intense light from her oh so sensetive eyes.

Walking out through the large steel bulkhead, Sleif made his way past the destruction that was from the previous battle, as he started moving through the mine shafts, towards the entrance.
Reaching into his coat, Sleif withdrew the small broken piece of machinery he found, inside the area.

Even though it was broken, it was still quite large, big enough to cover his entire palm. Sleif knew that, whatever it was, it was going to be big.
As he walked up through the mine, Sleif suddenly stopped, as he sensed the one called Blain, somewhere ahead.

Unlike previous times, where he could easily sense and find anyone, this time was different. As at the moment he could sense him, it seemed that Blain just suddenly disappeared.

Sleif realised that Blain couldn't have just disappeared, and so must have been hiding. Continuing to walk again, Sleif would be able to sense Blain again, either when he was in extremely close range, or when he would reveal himself again.

Ale stood completely still as Blain did the same thing Ale knew what Blain plan was and for now decided to listen making himself invisible to another Superiors vision was hard but Ale pulled it off like Blain did a few minutes in Ale could sense Sleif coming back and with luck he would walk past them.

Nikki looked at the other girl who had started to walk out of the mine herself Nikki decided to follow her seeing her fall to the ground Nikki looked down at her wondering if she could still see "Miss Taira are you okay" asked Nikki as she went through her mind waves to learn her name and anything else that was important to know "Sorry but I need to move you into a better place until the others come back" said Nikki as she pulled Tiara to some shade the best she could without hurting her.

Taira barely noticed when Nikki had moved her. She wanted to scream in pain. She tore her goggles off her face, letting her eyes adjust to the light, while she willed the pain away. "I might not be able to move very effectively on my own. I was hit on the base of my skull with the mine collapse. I might black out soon, so if we leave, the boys better hurry." She managed to mutter before the pain shot through her body.

Walking up through the mine, Sleif continued to try and sense where Blain and Ale were hiding in the tunnels. "I know yous are there. So why don't yous just show yourself!" Sleif said, as he raised his sword to his shoulder.

"I said, come on out!" Sleif said, just before he swung his sword at one of the beams, slicing it in half, and causing the mine to rumble from the strain.

Blain swore mentaly; this guy was a complete nutcase! If he kept slicing the beams, they were both going to be burried alive. Since he obviously couldn't count on his enemy's common sense, his options were significantly limited. In fact, he realised with a sense of dawning horror, they were nonexistant! If it was a human he was facing, he could use the tunnels to sneak up behind him and put a bullet in his skull, but a superior can hear a pin drop on the opposite side of a town if they were paying attention and no-one was that stealthy. Open assault was a no-go in these confines. The lunatic could somehow block bullets or just make them miss their mark entirely and waiting was probably a bad plan while the swordsman's mental stability was still in question... His only option was to try and run and lose his attacker in the tunnels. Hopefuly the echos would throw off even a superior's senses. Just as Blain was preparing to leg it, the man next to him moved, tugging at Blain's shirt. The man crooked a finger and indicated an old explosive device in the wall of the tunnel. Probably a bad connection meant that it had failed to go off with the rest, way back when the mine was first being blasted. On its own, it wasn't very powerful and wouldn't do much more than shake a lot of dust loose and make a big noise, but right now that was exactly what they needed.

The ceiling gave another ominous rumble and a small stream of rock dust fell from the roof and tickled Blain's nose. This was going to be risky, but what alternative did they have? Tensing his muscles, Blain exploded into action. Pulling one of his guns from its holster, he aimed and fired a shot at a speed only a superior could manage. The bullet hit the explosives square in the middle and they detonated with a roar! The caverns shook and dust fell from the ceiling in sheets. In some places, the ceiling, weakened by the destruction of the beams, started to crumble and collapsed in with a boom! Confusion was absolute. Blain darted back down the tunnel, past his opponent (once more venomously thinking there would be another time). Hoping his new ally had possessed the presence of mind to follow him, Blain ducked down another tunnel and hid again, becoming utterly silent. To all intents and purposes, he was just another rock. Now all he had to hope was that his enemy thought that he had run for the entrance and freedom and that he didn't entomb them all out of spite.
