Holy freaking crap this new album is good. Obfuscation and Swim To The Moon are absolutely outstanding. A really nice follow up to Colors.

I know it leaked, but I'm waiting for the release date.

I have high expectations, so I'll probably be disappointed. But hey, maybe not.

I love Fossil Genera - A Feed From Cloud Mountain, Obfuscation, and Disease, Injury, Madness.

Because BTBAM makes great albums, and they actually experiment with their sound?

Can this be a general Between the Buried and Me discussion thread pl33z? I liked Alaska and Colours oh so much, and I want to rave about it.

There's already one here somewhere.

Oh well. Alaska was great. Roboturner is my favourite track off of it, but that's not saying much, because I loved almost every single track on that damn album.

Now, initially, and due to slight retardation, I didn't know that Colours was meant to be one song, so I would always listen to inconsistent parts, and that made it that much worse. However, listening through the whole album recently, I loved it. It's much easier to appreciate it, when you realize what the fuck they were trying to do.

Hurp hurp, I'm an idiot.

So I got it, and I like it a lot. BUT, it's completely overshadowed by Thrice's new album, atm.

I'm sure I'll end up liking it way more, though.

Y'know, after listening to The Great Misdirect and Colors, it's hard for me to go back to Alaska. I've grown way too fond of their experimental aspects to go back to how insane Alaska is. :\

I feel ya. Right now I'm listening to Jemina Pearl's new album Break It Up at least twice a day. It's so good.
