What songs do you listen to that aren't cool to like, that you're embarrassed of, or that you just avoid publicly associating yourself with?

My list isn't all that bad. At least I can honestly say that I can't tolerate any Jonas Brothers songs, right? Galen's will be worse.



Living Dead Girl - Rob Zombie

This song has got one of the catchiest choruses I've ever heard. And the fact that it's very danceable doesn't hurt either.

Mutter - Rammstein
Only ashamed because it's Rammstein, but still - in this case it's really fucking good.

God of Thunder - Kiss

I can't remember a time when it was ever cool to like Kiss, but they played too big of a role in my early musical development for me to be detached from them. And God of Thunder is just an awesome song.

Anything by Nightwish

Not to imply that I like all of their songs -- far from it -- but whether it's Wish I Had An Angel or Last of the Wilds, they just aren't a band that you're going to get a lot of respect for enjoying.

I actually hesitated to put it on the list of songs that I'm ashamed of, but one could easily say at least that I'm not proud of it. It's so raw and repetitive and there's nothing good about it.

Hey, fuck you, I was forced to listen to this song about fifty times a day when I was in Indiana because my friend Kris enjoys shitty rave music. Given enough time, it could grow on anybody.

I swear I'm some what cursed in a way, as long as I like a persons voice I can listen to any of their music no matter how horrible/tragic. For example I can listen to Paramore.
