Why is there no Beatles thread.

Yeah, The Beatles have some good stuff. I am the Walrus is pretty good, and so is a lot of their stuff... or all of it...

Yeah... they rock. Too bad about Harrison and Lennon though.

Beatles are alright... I dig John Lennon. George Harrison is decent too. Hate Macca though. White Album is quite good, as is Sgt Pepper's. Could never get into Revolver. Not interested in the rest. Some of Yoko Ono's albums are good... looking forward to the release of her new one which has collaborators such as Keigo Oyamada (Cornelius) and Yuka Honda. And John's son with her, Sean Lennon has done some interesting things (notably playing with eclectic new york/japanese group, Cibo Matto).

Finally, a thread I like. Abbey Road, Revolver, Sgt Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, and the White Album are my favorite albums. I like everything else (except not really the yeah yeah yeah). I love their story songs, like Rocky Raccoon and Maxwell's Silver Hammer.

I've got records of Abbey Road, the White Album, and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Great stuff.

Paul McCartney concert a week or so ago was crazy.

It depends. Lenon's is more serene, but McCartney's is better for songs like Helter Skelter, and Jet and what not.
