Since we're nearing another decade in Hip-hop, what is your thoughts on these past ten years? Also what was your favorite event this decade? And if you could name this decade, what would it be and why?

The decade of overuse of autotune.

Eminem releases "Kim" a record in which he mudrders his wife and they were married when it was released.
Any teenager my age would say how awesome this decade was with Wayne and Drake andstupid dance songs like "StankyLeg" and "Crank Dat" and the Jerk. To me it seems the flow of mainstream rap songs had degenerated to the point where you could sell albums when you had one single just because it had a catchy chorus. A large amount of rappers talked about gettin money and women, and soon enough it had gotten repetitive. Songs in the 1990'swhere about just hanging out with friends and having a good time.
So what I really want to put out there is
Rap music has gotten so bad I barely turn on my radio anymore. Compare any rap song from the 1980s or 1990s and compare it to whats on the radio now. Rap really sucks now and I hope there is a change in 2010.

Eminem is dropping Relapse: The Refill next month.
It's just a re-release of Relapse, but with 7 new tracks. IDK if this is the rumored "Relapse 2" or just something to hold us over until he drops it. Either way, I'm looking forward to it.

I think these past ten years have been...well bad. There is plenty of good, but way more bad. We have rappers who are fake, rap nothing but materialism, talk ignorant, and sell-out top the charts. The most memorable part would be Soulja Boy saying Nas killed hip-hop. My favorite moment of this decade would be..well I don't really have a favorite. Hopefully the new decade bring something new. I'm looking to all the up-coming rappers. Since they look to be what can bring good music back on the radio. I guess the whole decade being nothing but ...catchy songs caught the attention of talented artists. It inspired me actually so I guess that would be one good thing from this decade. And it might serve as a history lesson whenever good music gets played, to not take that path again. Also with the rise of the economy, I'm expecting more rappers to rise from the underground.

Also :v You turn on the radio? LOL I don't have a radio. Only the car does, and we don't listen to that still.
