So I made the show! The director pulled me aside on Friday and told me. I don't think I will be getting a speaking part in this one, but I'm actually okay with that. Although it'll will be hard adjusting to ensemble after having one of the lead roles in my last show. But it's okay. It will still be fun, and that's all that matters. I will find out officially whether I got a part or not, but don't expect me to.

Thanks. I got ensemble, which I am kinda depressed about, but I'm really just happy to be in the show at all.

Yeah but no underclassmen got any parts at all. There aren't that many parts, but the parts they had were all given to upperclassmen. I tried out for Benny Southstreet.

Oh, damn. At my school, there isn't many people in the musicals. But when Sweeney came along, like 100 people auditioned.

Oh well that's not too bad. At my school, the shows are cooler then sports. I know it's hard to imagine but for example, last year the homecoming king was from the shows and the prom king was also from the shows. Like we have a huge variety of people that do them.

That sounds pretty cool. America is very performanced based, no?

I'm hoping to move to New York and go on broadway one day. Musical's are my thing :)

I got an award for the best dance student, drama student and music student. I love performing :)

Wow that's really cool, congrats! Yes, America is very performance based but at the majority of high schools, the people who do the shows are gay kids and/or losers who have no friends and no life.

Haha I don't doubt that. But my schools drama experience is like none other and I can't explain it. We all form a little family and we all get close with each other and have so much fun. I can't explain this.

I have that to. My drama class, we call it the drama family. We go have coffee's with the teacher and stuff. It's fun.
