| Keyblade Wielder | I suppose there are some who simply can't be satisfied without massive special effects. I enjoy these types of movies (basing on this and Cloverfield) more than most others. I suppose the realism they portray just helps me get into the movie. FYI, this movie never had a script. |

I haven't seen a good horror movie in a long time either, in fact I can't even remember the last scary movie I saw before this one. I hadn't seen the Orphan, but I read the plot and I thought it was ridiculous. And once again, I saw Paranormal Activity only knowing that it got good reviews. I didn't know what type of movie it was, and I was going with other people. So I didn't know what to expect. I figured I would be cleverly surprised or something. Now I've had my little moments of paranoia in my house. Strange noises in my basement, seeing strange things, the usual paranoid kind of stuff. But seeing this movie really didn't make me think about them anymore than usual. I'm pretty sure its because I was so uninterested in the movie. Every time it would show some conversation the two had during the day and some scene at night where something strange happens. Spoilers I think it was this constant switching from day and night, that really just got me bored. I kept expecting something exciting to happen at night, but it would just be something small, and then proceed to the next day, so then I would just kind of lose that build up of excitement. Okay, I feel like I'm just going on and on. So bottom line, I was really uninterested in the movie. Its not like it was the most original movie anyway. My only real enjoyment was the audience's stupid reactions to things. I'm pretty sure if I was being haunted by a demon, I would be pretty damn scared. But I really couldn't place myself in this situation while watching it for some reason. As for your question about what movies get me scared, I'm not too sure. When I was younger, your typical slasher kind of movies got me scared, but as I grew up I found them to be really stupid. Nowadays I hardly ever get scared with any movies. I guess scary movies just aren't my thing anymore. Damn long ass post. | |

I knew what to expect. Every night. Every day. Every time he left the camera on a tripod, I knew there was going to be something strange happening, yet not drastic or dangerous enough for me to care about. Quote:

| Don't be afraid to go too low | From what I've seen of it (a trailer or two) it looks like every other horror movie. I'll probably see it one way or another, but I'm not getting my hopes up. |

| Been there, destroyed that. | I downloaded the DVD rip of it. Alternate ending. It was pretty good.... bit creepy. The ending from what I read, in all versions, suck. |

| { No Life/No Death } | Saw it. While being a little creepy due to the fact that you knew something was bound to happen every night that they slept, it wasn't really that much of a scare in my opinion. As said before, it's all been done before. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() Currently playing: Naruto The Broken Bond Level: 13 EXP: | The movie was crap. 1. I saw it with my cousins and sister and all they would say the whole time is "Is this based on a true story?" 2. It wasnt scary at all but it was annoying when my cousins and sister screamed like crazy at the smallest crap. If I watched it by myself I would have been like "Oh crap!" and got scared a little but thats it but they had to sice it up. 3. The ending that I saw was the second ending that Slusho put up. 4. Worst scary movie ive seen. |
