Girl throws Micah at camera, It falls over and shows her walk past camera stand next to the window in their room and have her push the doors open stare at the camera, smile and then step on the window sill and jump out.... That would be bad ass and scary as shit :D

I saw it.
It wasnt like piss your pants scary for me at all.
It was just old fashioned scary.
Don't expect pop-ups (except maybe once).
Just expect to be scared.
I wasnt really screaming and all that inside the theater when I saw it.
I just found it to be OMG I CANT BELIEVE THATS HAPPENING scary.

The only part I remotely liked, because it was the only time anything actually happened in the movie, was the ending, and I kinda saw it coming.

I didn't expect the movie to get that weird at the end, but I still almost fell asleep during the thing. Not scary at all, IMO.

Damn, thats exactly how I felt. I didn't get scared at all, which was so disappointing after everyone going, "omg itz sooo scary!" I tried warning people not to see it, but everyone is just believing the hype. Its just such a stupid movie, I mean I couldn't place myself in that situation, so I really didn't find it scary. And I almost fell asleep too...lol

One thing that entertained me was the audience's reaction, every time they gasped at something, I laughed to myself, because it was so stupid...lol

Really I'm just watching everything happen and the whole time I'm getting pissed at the guy for being so stupid.

Girlfriend tells him not to get a ouija board, and he gets one. He pisses the demon off, and then he BURNS A CROSS IN THE FIREPLACE. WHAT KIND OF STUPID IS HE? Then he keeps filming, and keeps doing stupid things like putting baby powder on the floor as if the demon was too stupid to not step in it unintentionally. He just does everything wrong and blatantly ignores everything his girlfriend says. He's such a jackass

Haha, stupid people, I swear...I couldn't see much audience activity, the theater was packed when we got there, so we had to sit near the front.

I couldn't believe people were getting that scared, I fell asleep for at least a minute or so, lol

No scary shit happened until the end, and even that wasn't scary. It was kind of cool to see that dude get killed, because like you said, he was a jackass. I thought the ending was so lame though. When she just comes at the camera, and then it says that she just disappeared or whatever.


When it was over, the first thought that came to mind was, "What? Thats it?" I was expecting so much more. Too much hype, piece of crap movie.

Yeah if the rest of the movie had the same tension as the last minute or so, I might have enjoyed it, but it was all child's play really in comparison :/

The ending didn't necessarily scare me, just surprised me, because I never actually thought it'd get to the point where they would be harmed, and they were. And then the demonic face at the end caught me off guard because I never thought it would actually get that weird considering how lame the other 81 minutes of the movie were. Still, kind of pathetic that he died from getting thrown into a wall lol. Must have been a pretty hard throw

It's a pretty amazing movie once you realize you're supposed to set yourself in a different mood compared to other movies. If you're expecting lots of special effects and the generic crap you see in other "horror" movies, this isn't your movie, and I wouldn't know why you would bother seeing it in that case.

It's been years since I've seen a half decent horror movie. Everything they show these days is too expected and generic, nothing new unlike the classic good days of "Halloween." Orphan was the last decent movie I saw, but I wasn't scared in the least; I just loved the story. Paranormal Activity seems to have gotten fairly well reviews compared to other horror movies.

In short, it's been YEARS since I've seen a movie that was even remotely frightening, and I have no doubt in my mind when I say Paranormal Activity scared me, and made me paranoid about the common noises houses make. Expecting anything else other than something very possible and real.

I'd actually be interested, to those who claim to have felt nothing towards this movie: What horror movie has scared you when you weren't a 10 year old child?

All the scares in PA have been done before, in a larger quantity, quality, and scale IMO. This just felt like a low-budget homage to them.
