Default The Boat That Rocked
Searched, couldn't find a thread. It's already on DVD in the UK, and has yet to play in the States; where it'll (supposedly) go under the name "Pirate Radio". Comes out some time in November. Pretty much the only reason I watched this film was Nick Frost, who some of you may/may not know from Shaun of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, and the television series, Spaced.

But I digress. This has everything. Drugs, sex, alcohol, music.

oh and I think there's British comedy in there but I'm not sure

But regardless probably the best movie I have so this year. Seriously if you haven't seen it. SEE IT.

I watched it. I enjoyed it. The talent of the cast definitely helps it. Rhys Ifans, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Nick Frost, Bill Nighy, and Rhys Darby - why wouldn't you check it out?

I know its off topic, but do people other than Australians get Australian comedy?

But yeah good point, Johnny. The cast in the film is superb. I thought Talulah Riley's performance was fantastic, even though it was quite a minor role.

Anyway, I saw the posters and ads for this in Australia, and it went by the original name, just so you know. It looked good, and from the reception here, I guess I'll go rent it and watch it soon.

Oh, I remember seeing trailers and whatnot for this.
I think I had to look at it for a British Cinema segment on my Media course...

It looked pretty good, but I never caught it at the cinema.
