Inglourious Basterds (2009)

Not a diehard Tarantino fan, but I enjoyed the movie quite a bit.

I loved, loved, loved this film.

After Deathproof being the disappointment it was, it was great to see Tarantino back on form.

This is probably one of my favourite films of the year.

Christoph Waltz who played Colonel Landa stole the show for me.

Those critics are retards. The cinematography, pacing, audio, and overall writing in Inglourious Basterds are Tarantino's best to date. Starting at Reservoir Dogs, rewatch his movies in order they were made. It isn't until Kill Bill that Tarantino starts to really learn how to use the camera well. Unlike his films before Deathproof, Basterds' pacing is very deliberate and patient, marvelously building tension in a subtler way than Tarantino has ever done before.

But, is it just me or the movie needed more action scenes,

One reason i like most Quentin Tarantino movies. He keeps to his own style, while improving it just as well. I hardly doubt he cares about an Oscar.

Haha I saw it last weekend and as soon as it started I first thought of Kill Bill because of the music. It is deffinitely one of my favorite movies Ive ever seen
