Have you guys heard about that? They're making a movie based of the book series..the first book.

i love the books! i hope they don't ruin the movies though, the trailer looks a little iffy. but i think the guy they have playing percy is perfect

Aw crap. That's not what I meant. It's like they way Percy acted and his name along with it, it was kind of easier for me to envision him as a young black boy, than anything else. That's not what I meant at all....

He was definantly white when I read the book. xO

And he's white on the covers of the books, too. :/

It shows his face on the cover of the books? I think I only read the first and second .__.

I had the 3rd on hold but the school year ended, and I didnt get to read it.

It seemed pretty weird imagining Percy being black, well, im not trying to sound racis but, umm, gahh! I dont want to get in deep shizz, whaever.

Sooo, awesome the movie is comig out :D

They don't have to show his face. I'm pretty sure if his arms and neck are white, they face would follow through with that.

I completely remember him being black, there was also a sentance taht described his skin as "a mix of bark, and his hazel eyes"

Maybe he ahd a tan 8D

LOL, it was like I knew he was caucasian, but I could imagine him black so much better. It's wierd. LOLz, maybe he's a shapeshifter and doesnt know it?

I saw the trailer....kinda looking forward to it :) Read the first book only, but I wanna read the rest of the series. But I thought Percy was white??? On the front of the first book, he seems fair skinned.
