As you could expect, these reviews are from pretentious assholes pissed off at all the little things. It's not the acting or the story, it's the 2.5 hour run time and Christian Bale's growl. I tried to read some of these reviews, but I got only halfway through two of them. They were just as incoherent as they claimed the movie to be (Or maybe it's just me). I've never even heard of the magazines or newspapers the reviews came from. Variety, Rolling Stone and Time Magazine have all given the movie great reviews. | |

| loudQUIETloud. | I already have my midnight showing ticket. I honestly could care less about 4 or 5 negative reviews. They wont change my mind that this is gonna be the movie of the year. |

| pm me for your free custom avatar! | Just saw it a couple hours ago and it was ****ing awesome in nearly every aspect. It's as much a thriller as it is an action film and Heath Ledger is a GOD. Not only does he upstage the rest of the cast, he delivers a mesmerizing performance, portraying The Joker in his own unique disturbingly hilarious way. (still creepy) ccfabg.net I think is one and GCN Gotham City News Network is another. and of course. ibelieveinharveydent.com I think those are the titles anyway. (I went on them late at night last night) VERY CREEPY. I love viral campaigns. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I saw it today, just got home. I'm not going to spoil it because I'm not a complete asshole, but I will tell you that it more than lives up to it's hype. Heath Ledger was just as amazing as people said (not saying that 'cause he's dead). |

| Heartless | "And yes, this picture is illegal." Heh I believe it. I'm very excited that the dark knight will be out soon. I'm happy that they chose Heath Ledger, poor Mr. Ledger ;_; |

| Orville Redenbacher WOO | This looks like such a great movie. I might be seeing this next week with some friends. Unfortunately, the movie theater at the shore is sold out til Sunday, when I come back from the beach. |

| The Death Alchemist | I went to one of the pre-screenings last night. I thought the movie was really good. It was very... intricate. There were so many things going on and every couple minutes there'd be some other twist. It was all arranged in a way where instead of annoying you, it just kept you on the edge of your seat. Throughout the movie you never know who to trust. I know a lot of people thought this whole Oscar-talk about Heath Ledger was probably related to the whole tragedy of his death. In my opinion, his acting was Oscar-worthy. He just comes off as an insane guy. One of the great things about him, and all the characters really, is that they're smart. They're not completely oblivious to events going on. There's a lot of amazing stuff to see in this movie. It's not all about the good triumphing over evil. Sometimes the good needs to do bad to win. There's a tragedy in the movie that leads to the creation of a guy who's face isn't purple this time around. See the movie. Enjoy yourself. It's a well spent 2 and a half hours. |

Rep Power: 13 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That sorta did get annoying. I avoided this thread until I saw the movie. I must admit if I was in one last movie before I died, there couldn't be a better last movie. It was epic. Heath Ledger became the Joker in more ways then Jack Nicholson could ever be. His acting was articulate, beautiful and just pure bad-ass. Best movie of the year. R.I.P. Heath Ledger. |
