I went to prom as a junior, to my class prom as a senior, and each of those years I went to a friends prom in another school. And yes hopefully we're still talking then!!! That'd be awesome! I hope it'll be a fun experience. When I went my junior year it was more fun because the choice of music was better and just felt better but my own class prom was a bit slower and there was a bunch of drama so didn't really dig that one xD but sometimes drama is fun to watch...until it effects you, ya know?

Yes, it wasn't meant to be obvious so soon, as Ventus is only slowly building up trust towards Roxas, he only lost his fear so far as he sees that Roxas really means no harm. In fact, when Roxas took that defensive stance with his keyblades crossed (they forming an "X") during the fight it reawakened bad memories inside Ven's heart.
Yep, that cliffhanger is dreadful in a certain aspect since we first went to look what's up with Sora, then to Disney Castle.
The next chapter we'll take a look at another location before the cliffhanger will finally be "solved" more or less in chapter 9.

Like i.e. Braig suddenly popping up in the middle of the MoM-ceremony blasting Yen Sid from behind with a surprise attack, Vanitas returning and trying to possess Sora in order to get Ven, leading to a comatose Sora. Xion and/or Roxas manipulated against Sora and Riku by Xehanort himself with the false promise to make them real persons etc.
I could count up countless other heavy twists, some even involving time travel, reality warping or dreams becoming real and whatnot.
Well, one might even say that Roxas IS happy, but not because he had to give up everything. His happiness stems from the facts that all his burning questions were finally answered and he knows now from where he came.
Regardless of how and why, it's already established that Roxas will play a further role in the series (no surprise since he's the second most popular character as by the last survey), and while it would be the ultimate reward for him to regain a physical existence for himself, being able to meet with his friends in the "waking world", it doesn't have to be that way in the end.
Like already said, although I admit that for myself I think he deserves it and therefore it would be my favoirte solution, also for Naminé, as she wanted to become friends with Sora for real, but I can be content with many solutions except if they somehow vanish for good.

That was the reason why Roxas and Sora co-existed, each with their own mind and consciousness.
This is also the reason why some people say Roxas and Sora are the same and yet completely different at the same time. It sounds paradox, but that's how it is.

Roxas could not do that because he didn't know "the boy in red"'s name at first, he only knew that this boy is named Sora when he was already imprisoned in the Virtual Twilight Town by DiZ, which was stored in a computer which was connected to Sora's brain.

Germany at first also got only the 1st to 4th season, the last Sailor Moon-season aired only several years later when the entire series had a re-run.
Yup, got pretty dark, but resurrections/reincarnations weren't that uncommon during the series (and there funnily no one had a problem with certain characters coming back unlike it is here with the KH fandom).
Especially in the finale when Galaxia killed all Sailor scouts excluding Sailor Moon herself and the Starlights, Tuxedo Mask already offed by her at the beginning of the season. No need to mention that in the very end of the whole series (Episode 200) they came back.

Riku in KH1 really acted like a jerk when "polluted" with darkness...not to mention he destroyed his own homeworld to get into the outer universe. His guilt-trip during CoM and also the majority of KH2 was well deserved as he came to realize what wrongdoings he really committed.

Ah yes, the last boss of Re: Coded, conveniently named ?????. As if real KH fans would not recognize the guy immediately just by looking at the keyblades he wields.

Days I will also be able to play myself when I get the 3DS at the end of the year. There are so many various reasons for people to dislike/scorn homosexual depictions that we could open an extra discussion for that. One has however to differ between those who are really fundamentally against it and those who take a more neutral stance, acceptint it but not wanting to have to watch/read it.

I have yet to find time to really dive into other FanFics, as I am busy with work and my own story. Just recently started reading KingdomKey's Naminè-story.

Maybe, yet there's still to notice that due to his connection to Roxas and also Sora Axel apparently got somehow real emotions, and Roxas definitely has real ones. Nonetheless, I still think their relationship does not go farther than friendship...after all the deceptions Axel did I would not even dare to decribe it as a Bromance anymore, at least surely not from Roxas's side.
Axel may "feel" something more, but Roxas surely does not return feelings that intensely. As for Xion, due to her being so extremely similar to him I can see Roxas growing close to her...and there can also be subconsciously some influence from his other half due to Xion being mostly created from Sora's memories of Kairi.
I have also some difficulties seeing Terra and Ven in a relationship that goes more physical, in terms of sexual terrain. Ventus is supposed to be the innocence incarnate, not to mention the age gap and Terra's own personality. The brother-relationship really fits best there, maybe even going up to a real Bromance. With Terra and Ven I could see that, just without the sexual components.
If in that fic you read Ventus acted more like Roxas the author made a big mistake, Ven is vastly different from Roxas personality-wise. We have already talked about the differences between Ven and Sora, who are really very similar in many fields, but with Roxas the differences are even bigger.

That would be exactly it. Axel would need to be more open and most out of all more honest with him, as Roxas despises nothing more than being lied to. Roxas on the other hand would of course need to understand better what love actually is (as most normal people know there are many different types and variations of love) and maybe also to control his temper a bit.
Roxas is prone to lash out quickly and becomes angered easily.
That's true, as a new character Xion was bound to get some more attention, but what ruined it was that she got so much attention Roxas's character arc suffered badly from it.

When we talk solely of Roxas's own development, then yes. Although to be fair, there have also been several occurrences where Roxas had a bit development together with Xion, it was just more subtle because Xion was always in the main focus.
That is not an error of Roxas's character nor of Xion, it's bad script-writing which is responsible.

That's why you don't give people who want to try out something your own memory card with the KH-saves. *ggg*

Roxas is of course in the Org during that time, and it's also 99,99% sure that he's carrying Ven's injured heart during that time. If Ven's heart feels any additional pain is subject to speculation now as no one knows the status of his heart.

The "beach pictures" (I think you refer to those collages with 3D-models made by some people) can also become canon without TAV needing to really settle down on DI...as they do not hail from this world it would probably upset the balance.

Mysterious Figure is way worse than Vanitas...even worse than Vanitas's Remnant actually (which I have already beaten with Terra).

Eraqus's heart is in Terra's heart, just like Kairi's was in KH 1. Terra's heart however got overtaken by MX's heart, and all three then "built" something new by fusing together (which is different as with Sora and Ven, Ven's heart sleeps inside Sora's in order to bear the pain and rest, but there's no full fusion).
It was very obviously hinted in Blank Points when Terra and Master Xehanort argued.
"Heart-hotels" is indeed a fitting fanname, yet Sora takes this even further as he also has Xion and Roxas, two beings who only have memories and a mind inside him.
The contrast is very stinging though: Xehanort invades and dominates other hearts and uses other living beings (Ven, Vanitas, Terra) in order to prolong his own life and gain personal power while Sora does the exact opposite: He allows badly injured existences or people threatened with disappearance to come inside him to prolong their lives and uses power to help others instead of using it for himself.

That's one of the most important points to realize about Terra, both Eraqus and Xehanort correctly stated that Terra is preoccupied with power and seeks out more power to become stronger. However, unlike Xehanort or i.e. Maleficent Terra does not want that power for his own benefits, he wants it in order to be able to protect Aqua and Ventus.
That still calls forth the darkness, yes, as striving for power always beckons the darkness, but the intentions are vastly different.

It really doesn't seem that chronological age means so much in the KH Universe. Yep, it's sad...that's also why I refuse to compare the torments of the characters with each other, like seemingly some of the fandom like to do with Terra and Aqua. They're all suffering badly.

Oh yeah, that scene was so adorable...Ven had quite a bunch of those. One can see Jesse McCartney is a professional, he gives his voice work exactly the right nuances in most situations. Either I am specifically gifted or it is really hearable that good, but I once compared some voice clips from Roxas and Ventus...Jesse does voice them slightly different.
The blonde's are the cutest...*ggg*, pretty funny actually. Still, no one shall say that Xion, Kairi, Roxas and Sora aren't cute...;)
Sora is in fact just maybe 2 or 3 tiny points behind Ven in my cute-ranking, lol, and he's a brunette.

Probably, would increase the fun for all four possibly even more. :D
Pretty much, as Sora is a bit more mischievous and also a tiny bit more "outgoing" than Ven.

The problem is not so much the darkness itself as the fact that Ven's heart got cut. MX cut it with his keyblade, combined with Ven only a little kid back then and him being weakened due to the attacking heartless earlier it simply caused too much damage.
Vanitas then taking most of Ven's energy didn't help either, as for what Sora did is he filled out the missing spot in Ven's heart with his own light, forging the closest possible bond between two hearts that can be made which is not a full fusion.
Never forget Ven has an unnatural heart of pure light, Sora didn't give him any darkness.
I would also imagine that as very painful, no wonder when Sora felt that and Ven's sadness he started to cry. Yep, that's exactly it, Sora saved Ventus's life twice...and both times it were the schemes of Xehanort who was using Ven which caused the injuries in the first place.
Cute, a bit hopeful and very sad at the same time I would say. Sora emanated so much optimism, providing help to Ven when he needs it most a second time.

Maybe I will someday make one, lol.

Hehe, it also shows that while normally a total sweet, gentle little guy if you really piss him off not even being frozen solid will stop Ven from kicking your ass. ;P
Shows also that anger isn't necessarily tied to darkness, as Ven has none.

Yup, Wind and Light are the elements to which Ven apparently has a natural affinity. Both have much to do with speed and agility. Sora is relatively fast as well (at least faster than Terra, lol), but true, Ven is control-wise surely the lightest to handle and he has probably nearly the best reflexes.
His speedy backhand-style is also unique enough to set him quite some bit apart style-wise from the others.

*nods, nods* Can only agree with that. Ven had very bad luck to come across someone who just wants to use him.
Vanitas also gets the short stick...however, unlike as with Ven, my sympathy for him, while there, is limited.
In the flashbacks we see 4 years before BBS Ventus is at most 11 years old or 9 at the lowest estimate, who knows when MX found him during his travels? And in which world? If for example he found Ven when the child was 6 or 7 it could be between two and three years where he was MX's apprentice. Enough time for Ventus to develop respect and maybe even an attachment to his master, seeing it like that there is finally someone who is caring for him from the kid's point of view.
Like said, on this we can only speculate, I will surely take a look at the novels when goldpanner translates them...but until then all we come up with is own interpretation. Yep, MX is an asshole, lol, if one looks closely, one can even make out more similarities between Ven and Roxas, as both were constantly deceived and used by someone (although Roxas's case wasn't as "brutal" physically as Ven's) and both are treated more or less as tools.
Points at Wingblade-command style => obvious reference, isn't it? And furthermore, except maybe Sora, none of the male characters gets that close to "angel"-status as Ven does.
Also, the keychain of Ven's Wayward Wind is a green gem formed like a gust of wind (obvious) flanked by two feathers (can represent both wind and light => angel).

It sounds much more complicated if one only writes about it. Let's talk again when you can try it out for real.
