No, we don't :[. Our teacher takes the best parts from each computer and builds his teacher station. We donate the remaining parts to the community (although I have no idea how that works).

Umm, I know we have a Core 2 Duo, a really nice NVIDIA GeForce Graphics card (I don't remember the exact number), and 4 GBs of RAM. It's really nice, straight raped on the benchmark tests we did.

Yeah, my computer maintenance class got $5000 dollars to build 5 computers. So, we split into groups and built them. They are pretty sexy, not gonna lie.

I tried to convince my parents to let me build them a computer, but it didn't work so well :/

Yeah. Like I said, I'll probably take this laptop along for the ride, and trick out a PC. I can build a pretty good one for $1000.

Yeah, mine's a laptop, so I don't really have a choice on upgrading parts.

Hopefully, I can take this piece of crap to college (for school work and stuff), and convince my parents to let me build a PC. But I don't know how well that's gonna work out.

Yeah, my computer can't handle 4 gigs. 2 is as high as this baby runs.

But really, the best thing about my laptop is durability. This thing has been dropped on concrete multiple times, and its still kickin.

How many gigs of RAM do you have? And do you know what your CPU is?

I have a pentium 4, which was like top of the line when I got this laptop (like 2002 or something, I don't even know), and 1 gig of RAM, though I really wanna get 2.

I try not to run too many spyware programs, my computer runs slow enough without them.

Running anti-virus/spyware stuff uses up your RAM like a mo, so yeah, I tend to avoid them.

My main ones I use are Lavasoft's Ad-Aware and AVG Free. I use Avast! if my computer really messes up, but it doesn't usually get to that.

yeah, I had terrible antivirus protection when I got those viruses. AVG has worked really well for me. Free virus protection ftw.

Yeah. Well my harddrives got shitstormed by viruses, and I got it fixed once, but Geek Squad did a terrible job.

So the next time it broke, I just got a new one. Now I'm in computer maintenance though, so I'm not too worried about it dying again.
