Not really both were pretty easy back when I was terrible at KH.

Both of them are pretty easily dealt with.

Diamond Dust is 3 atk with +12 magic or something like that.
It's terrible attack keyblade but great for magic, making it easy to beat Phantom with it.

That's One Winged Angel, the keyblade you get for beating Sephiroth.
It's got 8 atk -3 mg but +12 Criticals (it's only rivaled by La Vi En Rose/Divine Rose).

And yeah Xemnas will own the diddly out of Donald and Goofy, truth be told I was trying to get them killed so they wouldn't screw up my loop. I do believe your theory is right as well, it's just a way to test Sora as far as Roxas' capabilities are concerned.

But if you don't know how to fight him he'll rape you.

It's not that Xemnas is hard he's just cheap, especially if your teammates are alive, seeing as they can screw up your loop and most often do.

He was actually.
After a combo instead of disappearing he instantly uses Fire Pillar so you'll constantly take damage.
One of the only ways to literally win is spam Strike Raid to avoid taking damage.

It's FM so don't count on it.
He'll probably be harder.
