So yeah, the only thing really keeping me into Bleach is the romance. xD Damn Kubo for actually doing a decent job with romance, while being an utter FAIL in every other aspect. :(
It's about an "assistant pig-keeper" named Taran and his quest to defeat the Death-Lord Arawn. :D Epic cast of characters, such as the warrior princess/sorceress Eilonwy and their adorable side-kick, Gurgi. :3 It's absolutely wonderful IMO. First book is The Book of Three. <3 True, true. ^_^ That being said, I'd say the retcons haven't been TOO bad; the one(s) in Bleach are MUCH worse. xD
I like short books. c: What's it about? Considering some of the major retcons he's done *coughXARMYcough*, I wouldn't be surprised, either. xD

It's also possible that he decided to retcon the idea. And, until you brought it up, I haven't seen anyone use that as a reason for why they think that. o.o I even had a discussion with someone who believed Kairi had no major connection, and that interview never came up. The books the movie was based on were absolutely amazing. <3 The movie was awesome, but I prefer the Prydain Chronicle novels any day. ^_^ You'd probably need to check early interviews too.
