Hmm.
I don't know. I think I find the concept of belief systems interesting for different reasons than you might think. I have a very strong feeling (a feeling that is unclear to me) about how powerful belief is in this world (universe?). People in this world have fought countless wars just because their beliefs contradicted. Some people seem to look for sexual partners based on if they have the same beliefs as themselves. Although the look for a sexual partner is obviously not just founded on that, it does seem important. For example, the dating sites my mom uses all ask the user what religion they believe in. Why else would they do that? I think that basically our whole society stems from beliefs. Everything a human does is because they believe they should be doing that. Whether or not it ties into their morals.
[This is getting into an entirely different discussion, so we can continue this through visitor messages if you really want to; but God (at least the Christian God) doesn't need a creator. It's a simple matter of cause and effect. Another way of saying is that if something happened (such as a beginning), then something caused it to happen. This is something that most people would say is true. It also has a pretty good track record. Now, a beginning is an effect. We are all intrinsically aware of this. That's why we want to determine the origin of the Universe (or what have you). We are aware that if it had an origin, then something had to originate it; so, we search for it. Now, God (again, the Christian God) is an eternal being. As such, He has no beginning. In short, since God never "began", He needs no "beginning".
As I mentioned, this is getting off track, so I won't continue this conversation any further on this thread; but I thought I'd at least respond once. If you wish, we can continue this via visitor messages or private messages.]
I just want to say that is a perfectly fine way for you to believe it. It is a valid argument presented by your religion. To ask whether or not it is sound is ignorant. I was actually the ignorant one for not knowing that about the Christian religion.
Oh god. Damned megavideo limits. I think for some reason, having a university network means that whenever anyone watches a video on MV, it adds onto everyone elses time.
So I go to watch the new episode of Brotherhood...oh wait...apparently I've already watched 72 minutes of video today >:
Oh hey, awesome...platinum status finally. Looks good.
Oh yeah. Definatly, I prefer to watch anime that don't have manga adaptations as I know that is how the series really is, no edits or anything. But there are some series that I think just work alot better in anime form like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
Oh thanks, I normally just watch series on animeseason or something. But thanks for the link anyway.
