Actually, since I'm home schooled, I can't join a regular honors society. I had to join a chapter of the Eta Sigma Alpha National Home School Honor Society, which is basically an honors society for homeschoolers. And I'm going to see some family on Christmas day, one side for lunch, and another for dinner XD

Yeah, it always hurts. Sometimes we have to pick up ourselves and move on. We never know what will happen or who may hurt us, intentionally or unintentionally, so we just have to do our best to make our way through life. I guess we just have to try to make the best of it. And hey, you'll always have friends on KHi when you're feeling down. Since none of us can leave (okay, it may be possible, but it's really hard), you'll always have friends here <3 I know I'm not leaving anytime soon XD

I think you're definitely that smart, don't sell yourself short, you're simply amazing~ :D An honor's society? Like Beta Club, or something else? Wow, I'd love an iPod like that, even though I don't listen to music a lot. :P I think we're going ice skating at a rink a few towns over. :> You?

I understand that, I wouldn't mind it as much if she told me because her other friends suggested she let me know. She probably did it to spare my feelings, but it still hit so hard, I just couldn't believe it. That's a really good motto to live by.

Thank you. I am known as something of a genius nerd irl, though I don't think I'm really that smart XD Oh, I joined an honors society! And the iPod is really cool. it was used and I had to put about forty bucks of my own money down for it, but it was totally worth it =D It had somebody's name engraved on it, but it was marked out. And when I took the price sticker off, it had the US Marine Corps emblem engraved on it, which was pretty cool :) Oh, what are you doing for Christmas?

Well, she may have had reasons preventing her from telling you about it until afterward. Stuff like that can usually have some serious stuff behind it. And this reminds me of something that came up the other day. I was chatting with an autistic (well, special needs, I don't if she actually has autism, though it's very likely) friend of mine on facebook, and she asked if I "though of her as a friend or what." I'm not sure if I'm emotionally ready for romance or not (depression does have a rather long term effect even after you don't have it anymore XD ), but I didn't want to just blow her off. So I told her "i dunno. i don't really think about stuff like that. i've found that you never know how long people will be in your life, so it's more important to make the best of the time you have instead of worrying about how you like someone." I guess you should try to make the best of the time you have with the people around you, because we never know how much time we have left with anyone.

Oh, I guess I have. I thought I had made a best friend, but she left the school a few weeks into the first semester and didn't even tell me until it was all final. And one of my other friends may not be coming back after the break...

Well, I'm doing pretty good. Just busy with school and stuff XD Nothing heavy there though because I don't have as much due to Christmas break. Oh, I took the PSAT and made the 99th percentile (I don't know If I'll make semifinalist though). OOH! I got an iPod touch as a combination birthday/Christmas gift! And I can't watch youtube videos again because my parents changed my internet restrictions. . .again. And it seems like there's so much more to say that won't come to mind right away XD
