Yes, but not all of it is deserved. Some of the bad image in public media is "LOL, CATHOLICS ARE STOOOOOOPPPPIIIIIDDDDDD. Let's show EVERYONE how much of an IDIOT they can be! They have a Pope! And the Body and Blood! Why don't they just... DISAPPEAR!" If a priest shows up in something, they'll either be evil or breaking their vows. And breaking their vows will be shown as a GOOD thing. You see? Christians get it a bit, but Catholics more then anything.
i dont like it too, but the chruch does have a bad rep. this one looks really good. also people can make anything look bad, it's not just the chruch.
Oh, that... Hmm... I'm Catholic so I'm always wary about movies about Priests. They tend to be betrayed in a bad light, or the Church portrayed in a bad light.
