Wow that's really crazy. Something similar almost happened here as well but he, I think it was Lancelot, immediately got banned because he was trying to erase files on the site too. No problem lol.
I wouldn't be surprised and I have seen other people double post, but I also have been to some forums where some people de rep people just because they de repped them back. This causes problems for users and then mods have to step in sometimes. Unfortantely I went to an anime forum where one user became a mod because they earned it and was trusted, but then then later on they abused it after several years of being a mod by erasing stuff on the forums including rpgs and then hacked into the system. It was a complete mess and everyone had to be a member and no guests were allowed. I haven't gone to that forum since it was a complete nightmare and not fun to particpate in anymore. So I am glad that there are more mods on this site that monitor the forums. I understand that being a mod can be a tough job and they probably deal with trolls all the time. Anyway thanks for your insight on the forums and I feel I can understand things better. You have been very helpful and thank you for understanding. ^_^
Oh I see. Don't worry about it. There are people that may have used the rep system with very strange and sometimes unreasonable standards but it does occur. The mods can't entirely control the rep system because it's influenced by the community. Everyone has their own "unique" personalities/opinions and it really ranges despite how logical/illogical it may be. Anyone can rep/negative rep a user. Since you're having a rough start, I can green rep you whenever I have the chance.
I got red repped for double posting. While I tried to fix it I was already flagged. That was the whole thing about that. Well that is good news, but I know that it will be awhile until I get a 1000 posts.
Hey flurryflames. I've noticed you've been having misunderstandings of spamming/double posting. Ahh sorry to hear that. What did you get red repped for exactly? Once you reach 1000 posts, you'll be able to delete your posts.
