Me too. That would be a major bummer, having to hear you can't stay at this time of year.

Like I said, for me it was searching for almost a year (though I freely admit that at the start, I decided to enjoy my last summer vacation ;) ) By the 14th, I will have been working here for half a year (which is also when they'll decide whether I can stay, so getting nervous)

How long did it take? (and how long have you been working now)

Sounds like you had a hard time getting a job too, or am I mistaken? :p
