That would like saying.. IF they made a new FFVII movie it wouldn't matter if the acter looked nothing like Cloud.((used FFVII because well, that would piss many ppl off))

If they made Halo movie. I want every damn person in that movie to look like who they are playing.. Thats the way I am. I can't help it.

How about the new DB movie.. What if Goku was played by Tom Cruise and they didn't even try to make him look like Goku.

And honestly, the cartoony special effects (I believe they were done that way on purpose) look fantastic. It's a unique visual twist that hopefully will be put to great use.

I still don't understand how you can possibly think that. The CGI is top of the notch. It doesn't look totally realistic, granted, but if you've been so spoiled by movies like Beowulf and 300 that you can't appreciate a unique artistic design just because it's not photorealistic, I really do pity you.

The RE movie vs most movie games.. Well yes it was decent.. Now, the RE movie's wasn't best nor that great.. But liked the 2nd one..

I'd give it a the first one a 2/5 and give the 2nd one a 3/5.. RE:EX gets a -5/5

actually, the whole reason they are doing the movie the way they are, is to make it like the manga it was based on. therefore that's the reason for the effects and the reason it doesn't look "realistic".


and they do look like the characters they are playing, imo.

In any case, I think it might be pretty good. Though, I can tell by looking at the trailer that most of this movie was shot behind a green screen,but other than that, visually it looks great. I just hope the story doesn't disappoint me.

Now the actors I'm pretty much fine with, though I've never seen this kid who's playin Speed. Kinda looks like a young Leonardo DiCaprio a lil bit.
