Enjoyed the first film. This one looks even better.

Anyone know when it comes out?

July...11th? Somewhere around there.

And there's no denying that, having constructed his opus of Pan's Labyrinth, Del Toro has returned to Hellboy a more mature and more powerful director, and there's no doubt that this will be the best comic-based film ever made.

Well, until Watchmen, of course.

Yeah I have to admit that it looks pretty bad. It seems that anything thats good is in the trailer and thats it. It has that kind of feel to it. The movie might suck and you are seeing the only thing thats good in the trailer.

Considering it's Guillemro Del Toro directing, the beast who pulled off the BEST movie of 2006 flawlessly, I'm not sure that's going to happen.

Funny story about that.
Me and my friend were watching [REC] last night and we made a bet that if the girl lives, we'd go to the Hellboy2 midnight showing, and if she died, we'd go to the Dark Night midnight showing.

unfortunately...
:3

This movie looks so good tho.
Different than any other comic adaptation i've seen so far.

I don't want to see any trailers or anything - it's always awesome when you go to a movie, knowing little about it :D

Especially when it's Hellboy. Probably the only film I desperately want to see over the summer break, Del Toro did a great job on the first film, and here's hoping he'll do the same for the second.

I was looking for a thread about this =D

This movie looks incredible (based solely upon the trailer xP), maybe even better than the original. Although I'm a little confused about the actual plot of the movie at this point, I'm loving the new character designs! (Seriously, that eerily pale antagonist (not quite sure of his name) looks very demonic)

*(as you can probably tell, I'm not exactly a fan of the comic series so much as I am of the movies =D)

This movie will be godawful.

lol, jk. I'm actually looking REALLY forward to this movie. Seeing the trailers, I think this will be WAY better than the first movie.
