Maybe unless he formed back to Blackout, and Barricade was in the final battle, he's gone, bye bye, see ya later.
EDIT: Wiat never mind Barricade dissapeared when on the highway scene. Once again the script for Transformers 2 was leaked on to the internet again. Can't find it though.

Scorponok is nothing without Blackout, so it's obvious. And Barricade was killed... in the movie adaptation comic he was pwned by Optimus by giving him a good judo throw.

Well, Scorponok is part of Blackout's engine. And Barricade's last appearence was when Bonnecrusher started transforming
And also, I'm gonna post all of the transformers' screen time. So yeah I'll get to that later today

Well according to Orci when he was asked about Barricade and his dissapearance, he said "Robots in disguise".

The canon version being barricade gets destroyed by Optimus, which answers his late arrival at Battle City.

Non-Canon being Barricade evaded the city battle and hid in the city.

Prime was late cuz he fought Bonecrusher. And Barricade probably left on the highway, (ditched) so I wouldn't be surprised if he is in the sequel

Damn I'm late with my ' there's gonna be a trilogy, cool! ' So there it is yo. But anyways, I dont know the names to well so which one was Bonecrusher? The only one I remember Optimus fighting was Megatron.

I dont know about this. A trilogy i think is just another tool for disaster. Cause the next 2 films will have to take all the critisms about not being as good as 1. Also June 26, 2009 is not the release date its just an expected release date. Difference: release date is the day they know its coming out and expected is picking a middle date of the time span they think it could come out.

Lastly i thought the first movie was good but was sort of boring until battle city. And it was already obvious how Megatron would die when Prime said he would take the cube into his spark. But i thought it was sort of weak. I would have liked to see more transformer vs transformer. Also i thought it was incredibly stupid for right as battle city starts bummblebee gets his legs shot off. Action wise the movie was decent, sotry wise th movie was good, but character development i htink it lacked because reasons others have already said.

They're saying they'll try to give the Transformers more screentime in TF2.

I just think it wasa stupid to kill megatron if your going to make 3 movies. Now they have to make someone stronger then megatron which is boring.

guhh, the first movie was bad enough as it is.

Maybe this time they'll actually feel like centering the story around the transformers and not the flat, pointless humans.
