None of the kids look as young as their ages in the book.

I must say I thought it was a great movie. my favorite part was the part with The White Witch,

but they did so much very wrong in that movie. I am kinda mad at the scriptwriters for this. Like its a good fantasy movie and all that. and I'll probably end up getting it on DVD but it was NOT prince caspian.

As the most uncinematic of the books, I thought they did it just fine. Had they followed the book word for word, it would not have been a great movie.

Saw this movie today, it was okay.

Two parts I found funny as hell-

1) "It feels like magic!" "Let's all hold hands!"

2) *refering to Peter, Edmund, Caspian, and Susan* "Rise, Kings and Queens of Narnia"

I enjoyed it well enough, however I was disappointed that they didn't include the bit about the midnight feast with Aslan. =/

One of my favorite parts in the book.

It was good though. Made me laugh a little. =D

that and the dancing lawn, freeing all the schoolchildren, the fact taht peter and caspian were never mad at each other, didn't storm mirazz castle, susan didn't kiss caspian, etc. etc. etc.

Ughh. Caspian was mediocre in every sense of the word. I had real hopes for it too, after the trailers.

I loved the movie, even if it wasn't the most faithful adaptation. The main themes of the book are still present: the myth becoming real, and return. While people moan about the changes in this movie which aren't as left field as some contrive ( there is basis for all the changes in the book ), the book is NOT cinematic at all. It's very similar to the first book in many aspects, but the timeline at which events take place would have made a bass-ackwards film.

Given, they had to make a summer movie for a 2008 audience from a 1951 book.

I saw the movie tonight and thought it was pretty awesome. I knwo some parts were alittle so-so but overall i thought it was really good. One thing that sort of got me was that the first part of the movie sort of went slow(i really cant explain it but it did seem like alot of stuff was packed in at the end). Also i felt that when the Peter, Edmund, Susan, and the other girl (forgot how to spell it so i didnt bother) fight ran into Caspian it seemed rather weird that not of the Narians really showed happiness that their Kings and Queens were back.

I would have been fine with most of the plot changes. but they didn't stay true to the characters of the 4 pevensies or caspian. Especially the kiss. I was like WTF?
